Hi, I’m @starlightcosmos04245 and I’m playing this OC, Max, as well as his older brother, Marc (@matsubusa-m), my main OC Lizzy (@ematsubusa) and Courtney aka Jördis (@kaga-ribi-612).

Max is Marc’s younger brother. He’s 10 years younger than Marc and actually Marc’s cousin. He was adopted by Marc’s parents shortly after birth.

Max is gay and married to a sailor named Shimizu Amakawa.

Max also is pretty flamboyant and open. He loves to chat and gossip about all sorts of things. That’s why he’s also known as Team Magma‘s gossip girl. He‘s also known for standing up for his fellow girls and gays if they’re in a pickle. He’s got a sharp tongue and no filter when he’s pissed.

LORE

Max was born far away from Hoenn. He is Marc’s aunts son on his mothers side. But due to a mental breakdown that resulted in resentment and the abandonment of her own newborn, he was quickly given up for adoption. Since Marc’s mother wasn’t able to have more children without risk, she wasted no time and adopted her nephew. She and Marc’s father raised him as their own and Marc quickly accepted him as his little brother.

Max has always known that he isn’t like his brother or his friends. He’s always been more flamboyant, liking colourful clothes, dresses, make-up… he also always knew that he’s into boys. When asked, he says of himself that he’s sure he was born in the wrong body and should have been a woman. But aside from that, he’s very comfortable with himself and his body. Some even say he’s shameless, since he has no filter and loves to overshare.

When Max left Hoenn for some years to study abroad, he had a few boyfriends and lived an exciting life. Going to parties and/or clubs every night, doing dumb stuff, having fun… he lived his early 20s to his fullest.

After he returned to Hoenn, he joined his brothers, back then, newly reformed Team Magma as a PR-Manager and journalist. He’s no scientific man, but he knows how to speak to the masses - something that was desperately needed to restore the image of Team Magma.

He met his partner, now husband, Shimizu Amakawa, in a bar in Slateport. Shimizu is the captain of a ship there and often out on the sea. So Max stays either at the Magma Base or at his brother’s and sister-in-laws house very often, when his husband is out of the country. He’s a social butterfly and doesn’t like being alone.

He’s the type of uncle who teaches the kids stuff they shouldn’t know or gifts them things that are nerve wrecking for their parents - just to annoy his brother.

He loves his older brother though and looked up to him as a child.

Max loves rock, metal, glam-rock, a little punk and grunge and pop music (especially the old ones). He’s a big fan of Twisted Sister and ABBA. Also, he loves musicals - mostly for the drama and the fitting music (he LOVES drama)

Hi, I’m @starlightcosmos04245 and I’m playing this Courtney as well as her universes Maxie (@matsubusa-m) and my OC Lizzy (@ematsubusa).

This Courtney, her name is Jördis (from the personification of earth in Norse mythology, Jörð), is from the same universe as my Maxie (aka Marc) and therefore from many years into the future. She still works for the reformed Team Magma. She’s a researcher and very observant. In comparison to other Courtneys in the multiverse, though, Jördis is a lot calmer. HEADCANONS / LORE

Like I already mentioned, Jördis and the others live in a future many years after the events of ORAS.

After Team Aqua and Team Magma made peace, the teams started to hang out together more. That’s when she started to actually notice Matt. His puppy-like energy and his whole personality overall scratched her curious brain just right… so she put herself together and became friends with him. After some time, they started dating and eventually had a son shortly after Marc and Lis had their fraternal twin sons.

(Sorry, I’ve been a sucker for Betaadminshipping ever since I saw Chip‘s Fanart for them σ^_^; )

Speaking of relationships, she is on very good terms with Lizzy, Marc’s wife. They are as close as sisters, often hanging out, going out to the arcades together, etc.

Marc is her mentor, her role model, and kind of like a father to her after she ran away from home.

Her parents were abusive of her, so she ran away at 11 years old and found shelter at the newly formed Team Magma. Marc saw her potential and decided to take care of her until she can care for herself (which is also why she seems a little obsessive about Marc sometimes. She feels grateful towards him and it’s her way of showing). Thus, she brought her bright, clever mind into his plans and quickly climbed up the ranks. She was there before Homura (aka Tabitha), wo joined shortly after her.

Homura is her best friend and somewhat of an older brother-figure. She knows she’s not good with people, so he takes care of most of the people-oriented things within Team Magma for her.

Jördis likes to take pictures. Not just of Marc and his family, but also of landscapes, Pokémon… basically anything. She likes to collect as many memories as possible like this.

She also likes to play video games. She’s a regular customer of the arcade in Mauville. The owner of the arcade is afraid of her. Not only because of her somewhat unnerving stare but also because she’s impudently talented at the claw-machines. Her room is filled with Pokémon plushies she won there.

Jördis is half icelandic half japanese. Her mother is from Sinnoh, her father from the Pokémon-worlds equivalent to Iceland (if someone has a fan region based on iceland, please tell me). She was born and raised in Sinnoh until she ran away from home.

She likes Vocaloid music. A singing computer program… that scratches her brain just right and intrigues her. Her favourite Vocaloid is Megpoid Gumi.

Aside from that, she also often listens to J-Pop, J-Rock or the things Marc likes.

The Magnus Archives, being a horror podcast, will make occasional references to graphic violence/gore of various types, so I am willing to accept that kind of content within the parameters of the blog rules (so nothing too extreme, preferably).

This blog takes place post-Magnus Archives, but disregards the content of the Magnus Protocol (which I have yet to listen to, so please do not send spoilers/information pertaining to it). Hello, my name is Jón Sveppir, you can call me Ranger Sveppir. I am a retired Ranger who now works at Skjøldur Labs in the Ohrken Region, and I am making this blog to share stuff about my work and show the great work the scientists are doing here.

So some important things out of the way:

I was born in Sinnoh

I joined the Sinnoh Rangers at 20, and served with them for for 14 years before being transferred to the Almia HQ. I have served in most regions at some point or another excluding Paldea and a few other.

Yes this does mean I have worked in Orre, yes It was not a fun experience.

I served with the Rangers until the age of 65 when I was forced to retire, though at that point I was no longer doing field-work. I was then approached by Skjøldur Labs who I had aided in the past while with the rangers and they offered to hire me, so here I am.

These days I mostly do paperwork and act as a interlocutor between the Rangers and Skjøldur.

Speaking of I should cover Skjøldur.

The lab here help with more bizarre or extreme cases that most other labs or centers cannot handle or lack the resources to do so. We also work on ways to allow Pokemon with these severe conditions to live longer happier lives.

For example, you may have seen quadrupedal pokemon with with wheelchairs before, the original design for which was created by the Skjøldur Labs founder.

Sorry for all the rambling I have never been one to be short-spoken. But yeah this blog is to share some of our work and to just share some of my day to day things. Feel free to ask any question you like, and I will do my best to answer. However, in cases of pokemon health and/or care, don't treat my words as gospel, take your pokemon to a center or somewhere else please. But yeah, feel free to ask whatever you like.

Woops: (M) My starter and old af quagsire. Caught him in sinnoh as a wooper when I thought I was gonna be a trainer and he became my partner when I became a ranger. I have like 40-somethijg nicknames for this guy so if I say something like woops'alot or Woopsifur or Sire I'm talking about him.

Sol: My Valcorona, had a Larvesta egg dumped on me while I was in Unova, a real sweetheart, also has a sweet tooth, don't leave your snacks unguarded.

Sandy: (F) My castform, got her a while back when I was still an active ranger, she's a rescue from a raid done on an illegal breeding operation. Dr.Amilee discovered she likes wearing clothes so if you see a castform in a silly hat in one of my photos that'd be her.
