actually making my tags from my last post into their own post. writers who struggle with grammar, spelling, typos, errors etc i love you. writers who struggle with rereading their stuff thoroughly no matter how much they try, who don't always have access to other people to help them read i love you. whilst reading through and checking for these things is good practice i really believe that the weight of it should not be put wholly on the writer's shoulders. especially writers who are neurodivergent, disabled, have any condition that can impede their reading + comprehension, are overworked and overtired, are not writing in their native language, list goes on....because grammar mistakes/language mistakes/typos have nothing to do with your abilities as a creative. this is where editors should be uplifting writers, helping them, not scrutinising them for something they cannot always control

Hi, not an odd question at all! I'm absolutely fine with people getting tattoos of my work, with the exceptions being:

⛔ if it's art I've done for other people of their own characters ( #for others ) please don't get a tattoo of it (unless you're the person the art is for)

⚠️ if it's art of my own characters ( #my ocs ) I'd prefer being asked in advance, because it varies!

✅ My non-original-character works - fan art and general art, and whatever else I'm forgetting - are fine to get tattoos of!

Why?

When S1! Joel and Lizzie were married and found out Lizzie is a god, they did some research in figuring out how to move forward. Immortality is definitely something that could get in the way of a relationship, after all.

And what they found, was a spell to make a mortal INTO an immortal after death.

They decided to do it, so when Joel inevitably died as a mortal, they could then be together forever.

But well...

No one expected Lizzie to die first.

Joel forgot about the immortality spell by the time he died, many many years after the Rapture.

And when he awoke later, surrounded by gods he did not know, being told he had to play a part, all he could think of were the two gods he knew before that held no place in this pantheon and seemed to have been scrubbed from the history books.

Maybe Joel was the only god to survive of this pantheon is because he was never a part of that pantheon to begin with.

While he begins anew, his heart is always aching for people long gone. He will never get his wife, or any other Emperor back as they should be.

(Maybe that's why he listens more attent to Sausage's enthusiastic ramblings of his culture, because he knew the one once called Saint Pearl as an ally.)

(Maybe that's why he feuds with the Sheriff, for claiming the name his best friend once wore and using it for the worst. You are a toy with the way you play with morals like a game. )

(Maybe that's why he teases Lizzie, Mayor of Animalia. Silly cat, why are you so small? You should be big and tall and not afraid of water. I get my best traits from you.)

so, I'm still having fun thinking about the story I randomly started last night. I have some Ideas. it's slowly combining with a pre-existing idea I had about these siblings who inherit a property from their great-aunt and discover after they move in that it was formerly a brothel.

sooooooo now I'm thinking about nano and how if I think about any one plot for too long it turns to dust in my proverbial hands. I just get bored of it. It's been driving me mad. so, if I'm not motivated by any of my old plots, then come November I might either continue with this one for nano, or else just start something random and new again bc creating a random new character and situation last night was surprisingly fun.

did you know the green dragon trapped within the dragon orb from the tower of istar was named Viper? cause apparently weis and hickman forgot about that.

Cyan Bloodbane was just the green dragon that met Lorac's summons when he tried to use the orb, but the narration in dragons of fate incorrectly sates that Bloodbane was the dragon *in* the orb.
