I interpreted the "adaptation from the manga" thing to imply that they'll animate the 3 Yuus (like you said) but my partner proposed smth to me that raised my concerns... what if they only animate Yuuka? or like- default to a female Yuu? I could see that bc it would be probably easier for them to have only one protagonist.
don't get me wrong I like Yuuka and I know a lot of TWST fans are women but since the studio involved is apparently known for shojos I'm scared they'll make it seem like the story is romantic/the game is an otome... Which I mean- we do have SOME fanservice stuff but it's definitely not a romance story. That's why I'm scared 😭 if they do go that path... I much rather prefer the disconnection (?) of having 3 different Yuus than the possibility of this...
Also I'm just 🥲 I'm scared ppl will see that and say ahhh So Yuu has always been a woman!! Because as a trans guy, one thing that rlly made me feel valid in a way was seeing that in the game Yuu has no gender at all... I don't go by they/them but I'd much rather be referred as that than to be misgendered. It's a small thing but it's such an important detail for me (the fact that Yuu is gender neutral/can be whatever u want them to be) that it being erased in the anime would make me pretty sad... even more if ppl take the anime as "confirmation" of Yuu's gender, which it wouldn't be regardless if they end up giving us a girl OR guy Yuu- it would just be another Yuu interpretation different from the game.
But yeah, personal stuff aside, I'm more scared by the possibility of them making it seem like it's a romance story 😭 or ppl calling TWST an otome... which I mean... some people already have that misconception, even some fans...
[Referencing this post and this news!]
Tumblr media
I definitely think they're probably leaning towards a new Yuu every season; otherwise, there would be a very uneven distribution of screen time for one Yuu over the others, and that leads into the problem of one Yuu being "more" canon than the rest. Yes, it will probably be easier logistically speaking to keep the same Yuu for the entire anime--but I also said the same thing when we only had the Episode of Heartslabyul manga, and look what happened with that. We ended up getting Yuuka and Yuuta following Yuuken, regardless of the logistical inconvenience of it all. I think if the anime intended to have a singular Yuu to follow for the main story, they would have chosen to adapt the light novel (which has Yuuya across multiple volumes) instead of the manga. The conscious decision to adapt the manga (with changing Yuus) says something to me. So really, I don't think we have to worry about one "kind" of Yuu dominating the anime. I took a look at the portfolios of the two studios collaborating for the Twst anime and didn't see a ton of shoujo myself. There was definitely a handful of them, but overall there was a spread of genres. I think Yumeta Company (one of the studios) has Tokyo Mew Mew New under its belt, which is probably one of its better-known works and maybe that's where the "they're known for doing shoujo" allegations are coming from? Don't quote me on that, though. I'm not someone who closely follows anime studios.
I would, however, like to point out that we shouldn't put all our stock into the studios behind the anime. Yes, they are obviously animating the project and thus have an influence on how the final product is. However, there are tons of other people involved (like the script writer) that will dictate how the anime looks and feels. (In fact, the script writer for the Twst anime, Kato Yoichi, is not known for writing shoujo.) I highly doubt all the staff involved at every possible level of production are conspiring to make Twst a genre it's not. (Related: I blame socialization for this, but it's a little sad that most of us by default think one woman + a bunch of men in a cast must be romantic.)
Now, to your main point. I understand the initial fear of people misunderstanding Twst as a dating sim/otome from how it is presented. Really, I do. I also understand the frustration that comes with people claiming Yuu's identity or gender or what have you is "confirmed". But to that, I ask you: so what? And I don't mean that in a "your feelings aren't valid" way (because your feelings are very valid!) I mean in like... Do these misconceptions others have truly impact your own enjoyment? Do the people believing in these falsehoods erase what you know is the truth? I would wager it doesn't. There has been and always will be those who see Twst or interpret Yuu as something they are not. Lots of us (myself included) thought Twst was an otome game when they first heard of its concept. People claimed Yuuken was the definitive Yuu when the first chapter of the manga dropped. That's fandom, especially the larger they get. If we fixate on those sore spots, it will ultimately make us unhappy because there will never be an end to misunderstandings. I would advise that you try and detach from those worries and just focus on having your own fun in the fandom rather than worrying about how others are consuming or reacting to Twst. Yes, we want Twst, a franchise we've seriously been invested in and love, to be seen a certain way--but I don't think that should come at the cost of your enjoyment. Fandom is meant to be fun, and we don't want to make ourselves miserable by stressing over the "what ifs", you know? Please focus on yourself!!

Yoon Phusanu my beloved never disappoints and has indeed hired a gaggle of lawyers to go up against Y.Entertainment.
youtube
You can watch his whole press conference (with English subs) here.
It includes highlights such as:
Yoon would like to be fairly compensated because he has to provide for his family. His family are seven cats. He's brought pictures.
He's now officially gone freelance and Y.Ent are no longer allowed to use his name.
Yoon hasn't been paid in a very long time, even though he's tried to negotiate and reach an agreement. He's tired of having to run after his money.
He's "only" owed about 100.000 baht (~2.555€ / 2772$ / £2,192) but Yoon's lawyer states that this is a systematic problem and lots of actors in Series Y (Thai BL) aren't fairly compensated. Several actors have reached out to him personally. He also says that he doesn't put blame on the companies because Series Y is a very competitive field. Still, young actors should be careful about who they work with and stand up for themselves if they aren't treated fairly.
They're showing pictures of Yoon's cats again. Yoon has to provide for them, after all:
Tumblr media
Yoon doesn't have acting work lined up right now but he's actively looking for new projects and is in talks to join a new agency.
I'm not sure if this only affects Yoon or the other actors who are owed money by Y.Ent as well but apparently the cut-off date for payment was 11 March. He was offered money after that date but didn't take it because he already knew that he wanted to terminate the contract. Apparently, he had been with Y.Ent for over 4 years and the contract was supposed to be a six year contract (I'm not too sure about this one since the subs are terrible and so is my Thai lmao). Because he's been with them for so long, the whole thing pretty much blindsided him.
Yoon's mother is supportive of him acting in Y Series.
Many other Thai BL actors have talked to Yoon about being treated unfairly and he wants to spread awareness about that.
Apparently, Y.Ent never stated a reason for not paying him. They only told him that he'd be paid at a later date.
Yoon's lawyer says that he has every right to sue but for now he only wants to negotiate. He again urges young actors to thoroughly check who they're working with.
Yoon is asked if this disagreement will cause him problems with other companies down the line but he says that he doesn't believe it will negatively affect him as he's trying to solve the issue peacefully.
Yoon's lawyer again says that actors should read their contracts very carefully. Some contracts don't give the actors any rights but only duties. They might then have to hire a laywer to be able to break contract.
Yoon then says that sometimes he wasn't sent the script before filming and when arrived on set all he'd be given was an old brief that he'd already read. He was then asked (by other crew etc) if he'd practiced his lines which of course he couldn't. This embarrassed him.
The lawyer also adds that there is often a discrepancy between the number of episodes in a series and queues for a shoot. I'm guessing that he means that the actors won't realise that they actually have to work more hours for less money (since compensation seems to be based on episodes rather than hours worked?). This is very difficult to renegotiate and almost no actor in their 20s can afford to settle this in court.
This isn't the first time Yoon has spoken up against the mistreatment of himself and other Thai BL actors in the industry and I'm so glad he has the means to stand up for himself when so many other actors obviously can't.
Fans are so quick to blame bad shows and weird behind-the-scenes stuff on the actors themselves when in reality it's so often due to mismanagement and mistreatment. Imagine not even having a script on shooting day (yes, I'm aware this is common practice in soap entertainment but these are rookie actors without the experience and support that seasoned soap actors have - also in this case it seems to have surprised even the crew on set). No wonder things were awkward in Unforgotten Night. Do you really think actors who don't have a script get to practice and negotiate their intimate scenes together?
And judging by what Tor Atagorn has spoken up about recently (and many other actors have alluded to in the past) this is only the very tip of the iceberg, with young and inexperienced actors deliberately trapped in contracts that they have no way of getting out of on their own.
Yoon's lawyer urged young actors to be more aware of who they're working for in order to better protect themselves. In a similar vein, BL watchers should ideally be more aware of whose shows they're watching and what companies have a shady track record.
If nothing else, do it for the cats! These actors have children they need to provide for, after all!

stray canto vii part 1 thoughts (warning: long)
so many cool new designs!! it made me realize how few of interest we got in Canto VI. Then almost everything was pretty standard (classic maid and butler outfits, lots of suits, Cathy had a fancy dress at least? and everything was brown. yes I know, T Corp color drain, but still. and Öufi came before season 3 ended so that didn’t count), but this time we have Camille, the P Corp guys, Fanghunt Office, Hugo I guess, Hong Lu’s sister, the firefist guy? if he counts? he barely appeared, Sansón, and all the fancy dressed up bloodfiends. woo babey!!
speaking of Jia Xichun, I like her! She’s cute! I didn’t expect to see anyone related to Hong Lu, but in retrospect I probably should’ve, since his turn is next and his family is massive. I hope nothing bad happens to her. I've never read Dream of the Red Chamber
also speaking of Hugo, lol. lmao. when he was talking about pressing the button to get the reward I was like “oh hopkins 2, got it” and then Ryōshū sliced off his hands so I guess… not hopkins 2
ALSO the blonde Fanghunt guy is named Romero, which is apparently the name of a character in Vampire: The Masquerade. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an intentional reference
Sinclair cursing that one guy out was so awesome. I remember when Canto V part 2 came out and he censored himself saying “Bitch Brother” people were worried that the new translators were making him softer than he actually was, but, nah, he tries his best to be a polite boy but when he’s actually genuinely pissed off he does not hold back. Ryōshū correcting him BUT THEN SAYING HIS INTERPRETATION WAS GOOD absolutely killed me. my son demands respect
it’s a good day to be a Leviathan fan
The scripted loss encounter was so cool. They set you to level 45 no matter what level your LCB Don is, and take away all your EGO except the base (which you can’t even use), and I don’t know how far you can actually get in this fight because I flipped tails every single time and lost every clash
Tumblr media
let’s talk about the Barber! leave it to Project Moon to look at the character who didn’t have very much of a personality who stuck around with the priest and attempted multiple plans to bring Don Quixote back home so he could become sane again (and burned a bunch of Quixote’s chivalry books, also with the priest), and turned him into an insane vampire woman with big scissors and a shrill cackle who stitches masks onto people’s faces.
interesting choice to have Sancho and Dulcinea both named in a single line and then not acknowledged or mentioned again
Sansón! so based on his story log portrait background being bisexual, the blue name, and him resembling someone in Demian’s group in the Limbus Company PV, I feel confident saying he’s part of Demian’s Group. The spot where his Sign would be is covered by his mask, though, so no one in-universe knows
I think this is why Sinclair was cast in the role of the Knight of the White Moon: he also has the sign, which Sansón (who is the Knight of the White Moon) would be able to see, and even if other sinners have it too, they’re not Demian’s special guy. everyone else, though, seemed to be cast in the most humiliating role possible: horse to be ridden for Gregor, wild animal for Heathcliff, random peasant for Rodya, presumably homeless old person for Outis
ok Sansón. in the book, he’s a young college student who read the first part of Don Quixote and, in part 2, approaches Quixote saying he’s a big fan and encouraging him to go back out and do more knight stuff. However, he actually just thinks Don Quixote’s antics are very amusing and isn’t actually an earnest supporter, and is conspiring with the barber and priest to get Quixote back home to stay. the way they (priest and barber try to bring him home in part 1 is by tricking him with an adventure that’s conveniently in the same direction as their home village, but then they get sidetracked in an inn for a long time so they just put him in a cage and drive him home. in part 2, they want to play on Quixote’s terms for a more effective result. near the beginning of the second part, they have Sansón dress as a knight (called the Knight of Mirrors/Knight of the Forest. these titles have no significance in the book but apparently the mirror thing forces Quixote to see himself as the frail old man he is in Man of La Mancha), say his lady is fairer than Dulcinea to get Don Quixote to duel him, and then make Quixote promise to stay home for a year when he loses. however, Sansón is the one who loses, because he wasn’t expecting Quixote to actually be good at jousting. Later, near the very end, which iirc is 3 months after the first encounter, another knight called the Knight of the White Moon issues the exact same challenge to Don Quixote (it’s just Sansón again, and "White Moon" has no significance in the original book either), but this time Sansón wins, so Don Quixote goes home, dejected, and then becomes “sane” again and dies.
Since this Sansón is part of Demian’s group, I don’t think his intentions will be the same- the Barber was a bloodfiend, and he sees beyond the ambitions of the bloodfiends now- but it’s fun to know how he is in the source nonetheless
I really like how he didn’t show up after the Barber’s defeat to say something cryptic and then leave, he told us quite a bit, and though his methods were… questionable, he DID force the sinners to actually finally pay attention to Don Quixote
speaking of the stage play, I like the juxtaposition between Sansón’s play and the Barber’s. in a different context, what Sansón did might’ve been framed as horrifying, and we’d be talking about how uncanny and unreal this is, but I don’t think that’s the intention here. the sinners might be playing roles, and all the enemies are cardboard cutouts, but it’s better than putting targets on real people (though I guess they’re not “people”, they’re bad, bad, bloodfiends). the cheerful music in La Manchaland is distorted and out of place, while the stage play is nice in comparison. the music for the talking sections is a bit too upbeat for the situation, but the music during the battles really immerses you. guitar! trumpet! maraca! this music is clearly composed to emulate spanish music, and it’s very earnest, which I think is important, with how easily music sets tone in media.
in both cases, Don Quixote is in a delusion. nothing in the stage play of her adventures is real, but she’s also completely wrapped up in the narrative of evil bloodfiends without the knowledge that she is one. a violent nightmare and a peaceful dream, both of which she needs to wake up from.
they both do this thing with black-and-white thinking, too. there’s a difference between the “good” bloodfiends, which you should get along with, and the “bad” ones, which you need to kill (though Don sees them both as bad), and then the bandits in the stage play are cartoonishly evil and love to bully the weak. except it seems the first is the narrative the Barber wanted to sell, while the second is Don Quixote’s reality… I mean, the play is definitely inaccurate, but we’ve seen how Don behaves
if you follow me for kingdom hearts and are for some reason reading this you know how much I love Nobodies in kh. people who used to be human, but aren’t anymore, who look close enough but are different on an intrinsic and physiological level, that everyone automatically treats as unreasonable monsters that need to die when they’re more complicated than that… I love it so much, I’m cheering and clapping whenever bloodfiend morality is brought up. Moses said that Larierre was cordial and offered her a place to sit and talk, but then also said bloodfiends are insatiably hungry and you shouldn’t underestimate them. agh I love it
also THE MUSIIIIIC every fight theme so far has been a banger. songs that were already good but with typical carnival instruments, big brass swing, the aforementioned nice spanish music, and the fucked up and evil sequel to dubstep electroswing featuring evil laughter
and finally, the helm of mambrino. in early part 1 of Don Quixote, he sees a barber (COMPLETELY unrelated barber to the other barber btw) carrying a basin on his head, and thinks it’s the amazing mystical Helm of Mambrino, so he attacks the barber and steals the basin. Don Quixote wears it as a helmet a few times and everyone thinks it looks really stupid. they did not fight a bear for it, nor did they go into a cave. idk what this might actually be in the City. either we’ll see or we won’t

(I wish I could ask this in a video with GamingMagic13’s editing style, but I don’t have the energy for that.)
People say that, after Antibug, Chloé’s redeeming qualities started to show through throughout Seasons 2 and 3 because Thomas Astruc didn’t contribute to those episodes of those seasons as if he wasn’t on the writing team for every episode for those two seasons, including the ones showing Chloé’s redeeming qualities.
It’s not “Thomas left so the other writers started to make a redemption for Chloé, but then he came back and threw it all away”, it’s leaning more towards “Thomas, along with other writers, wanted to waste our time with Chloé pity parties for two seasons and trick people into feeling bad for her, which worked on plenty of reactors, and then yank the rug out from under them just for the sake of pulling a rug out from viewers” whether it’s the truth or not.
Also, do you get the feeling that, if people weren’t harassing Thomas and his family over Chloé’s “abandoned redemption”, Chloé wouldn’t have been made into evil incarnate to spite people?
Considering that the hiatus between Seasons 3 and 4 started towards the end of 2019, had to continue throughout 2020 due to the COVID pandemic with only the New York special to keep us busy in September 2020, and then finally ended shortly after 2021 started, that would have been plenty of time to rework scripts, because we know he was also on the writing team for every episode of Seasons 4 and 5 alongside 2 and 3, to made Chloé more and more unlikeable while propping up the male adults to spite Chloé fans, like several episodes of Teen Titans GO! and even this show are guilty of.
Whether all of this is true or not, I think it all lines up too well for too many other outcomes.
The "Thomas Astruc was able to completely rewrite the plans for this character and no one stopped him" take has always been a little wild to me especially since Chloe never showed meaningful improvement in canon. In fact, now that we've seen her story play out in all it's disappointing and time-wasting glory, you can even argue that Despair Bear was straight up telling you what we were in for since it's the same plot, just on a smaller scale.
As far as I know, there is no evidence for this "Chloe was rewritten" conspiracy. At the very least, no one has sent any my way on the multiple occasions when I've asked for it. Astruc is a credited writer for pretty much every episode involved in the Queen Bee arc and, while head writers have a good deal of power, they often don't have supreme power over their shows. This is especially true when it comes to kids shows since those have a lot of restrictions on what they can do. While I cannot speak French, I've been told that this class involves one of the writers talking about the multiple darker version of Chat Blanc that were rejected, leading to Chat Blanc being a season three episode instead of a season two episode like they originally planned.
These shows are products that are being sold to buyers who do have the power to reject the product and the writers work for a company. In most cases, they can be stopped!
There's also the fact that this is Astruc's career that we're talking about. You're arguing that he purposely messed with his reputation and screwed up the writing in the show that he's most well-known for in order to get back at online randos instead of just blocking them and moving on with his life. That's an insanely hard sell for me. Unintentional bad writing is a much easier explanation especially since he has nothing to gain from people disliking the Chloé stuff. This wasn't situation where Astruc needed to tank the show to get out of writing it. If Astruc left the project, then Miraculous would go on without him. While he came up with the initial idea, Zag owns the property.
Unless someone has hard evidence that Chloé was changed to spite fans, I am never going to buy into this conspiracy theory. Her bad writing is too in line with the show's other issues. Remember, this is the show that gave us Derision, everything about Lila, and Gabriel getting an 'ascends into the light with a smile' ending while his son sat the fight out and remains in the dark. Is Chloé really meaningfully worse than any of that?
I'd say no and, if you agree, then why do you think that she's so special? I've previously called her a canary in the coal mine and that's going to be my read until someone gives me evidence of something else. She was your warning sign that the writing was never going to be very good. I don't think she foretold just how bad it would get - that's why I kept watching - but her story showed that these writers were only good at short-form content and sucked at long-form content. In fact, Chloé's story is arguably better than a lot of the long-form stuff that the show gave us in season four and five. At least Chloé's story logically flowed together even if it was massively disapointing!
I also don't consider Chloé's season four and five writing downgrade to be all that telling because, once again, it's not unique to her. The class gets a similar downgrade in quality, going from "we'll help Marinette with her confession plans when she asks, but this isn't a major thing to us" to "we live for Adrienette and will make our own plans for Marinette to confess and force them on her/try to force Adrienette to kiss." It makes the entire class feels more shallow than ever.
Gabriel also gets a downgrade with his writing going more over-the-top than ever. We have things like him locking Adrien in a cell and using Adrien's amoks for no obvious reason even though Gabriel is supposed to get an ending where he dies totally at peace and ascends into the light. Totally nonsense choices just like the choice to make Marinette's inability to speak to Adrien because she's anxious into a full-out trauma response.
These are just a few of the many, many, many writing downgrades.
If you truly believe the Chloé conspiracy, then I'd strongly encourage you to watch at least the first of the videos I'm about to link and see if you notice similarities. I have all of them set to the specific, relevant timestamps in case you don't want to watch a massive video to see what I'm talking about because they all talk about more than the conspiracies that arose in these fandoms when the writing got "bad" (especially the last one. The conspiracy gets a very brief mention. I really only included it because I wanted three examples and just went with ones big enough that someone else had done research on the topic because it's not an area of fandom that I've ever waded into).
I'm linking these videos because I wanted to give you more than me just saying "this kind of thing happens all the time when media gets bad." Watching just a few minutes of each of these should give you the context you need assuming the timestamps work:
youtube
youtube
youtube
As you can hopefully see, the Chloé stuff is nothing new. So many pieces of media do something disappointing and then fans create conspiracies for why it happened, refusing to accept what is most likely to be the unfortunate truth: the writers thought they told a good story or, at the very least, they did the best they could within the confines they were working with be those confines monetary, temporal, and/or the limits of their own skills. That doesn't make the bad writing okay, you're fully valid in being upset, but there's also no need to create a conspiracy theory around it. It's probably not that deep. This shit happens all the time, especially in larger fandoms.
This is why I often give the advice of, "don't trust your mental health to stories that you have no control over." Is not that fandom isn't fun, I've just seen this shit before and I always feel bad for those who get involved with it. I've luckily never gone down the conspiracy rabbit hole, but I have gotten really upset when other fans continued to like a show that was bad, actually, and got a good deal of catharsis when most of the fandom woke up after the final was terrible. That still wasn't a good experience for me, though. It was not a healthy mindset to be waiting with baited breath for total strangers to agree with me that this random show was bad. I'm much better of bashing it with those who agree that it's bad, moving on when I'm no longer having fun, and letting those who like it be wrong (that is both a joke and real advice. Don't waste your time trying to change people's minds on something as insignificant as Miraculous. Just let them be wrong.)

Thinking about the general public's opinion on ii, with how reality shows irl have a bit of a reputation for being not as real as they make themselves out to be, if the same is true for ii do the general public think of things like Taco's reveal in the s1 finale as a scripted plot twist or their visit to meeple in the last episode as some sort of tie-in? Hell the whole show could be seen as advertising for Meeple with how many Meeple products are in it and such Meeple seems like they were a pretty big company who too a bad hit in sales after 4 because of the whole shimmer thing making Mephone4 better than the others, albeit making the ceo of the company the main villain would be seen as odd, could just as well as be seen as something against Meeple, pretty sure had Cobs' made that new season it would have portrayed his company a lot better.
But yeah they could view it as another reality show that's all predetermined for drama and such, they've seen the contestants come back from what would probably kill a regular object so they probably didn't think much of the fight to the death and with things like Taco having been acting during s1 or Mic quitting being seen as plot points, I'm not exactly sure when the cameras were on and when they were off so I'm not sure if the audience would get to hear the "See, MePhone didn't just make the show. He made you." line or any of the stuff in hotel Oj (are there cameras there in the first place or is that somewhere they could just not be on TV for once idk)
Hi there!!!^^ Welcome, and thank you for your submission!!! :) ii from the perspective of the outside world is interesting to think about, and something I hope we'll get more on in the future!!!
First of all, I think it would be really interesting if the general public thought that Taco's betrayal was scripted, considering how much love she gets in the real ii random when her betrayal isn't. It would be neat if she was a super popular and beloved character in the outer world of ii like she is in our world, and that could have even neater impacts on her if she leaves the island. A bunch of other objects thinking one of the worst moments of her life was super dramatic and cool? Someone calling her their "blorbo"- which she does not know the meaning of? Absolutely fascinating.
As for the Meeple stuff being thought of as a tie-in by the general public, I absolutely see it. Although he's lying, Cobs specifically says that the fights are staged promotions to the contestants! I'm sure he'd say the same to anyone who raised concerns. And as for people potentially finding it odd for Cobs to be portrayed as the villain? Well, we see in The Future Is So Yesterday that the general public thinks he's shady, yeah? Him being the villain here would not only be a way to play off those suspicions as something out of a goofy reality show, but also cover up evidence of his wrongdoings. People searching up Cobs' misdeeds would get led to what he'd done in ii, in which he could easily say he was playing a character and it wasn't real. However, yes, Cobs' season would basically have been one big Meeple ad. Boo ads!!!!
The audience did not hear the "he made you" reveal or any of the stuff in the hotel, but regardless it's still a tad hard to judge whether or not ii would be viewed as likely scripted in-universe because we simply don't know a lot about the outer universe. Aliens could be well-documented, or a bizarre occurrence on ii. Cobs does mention the show being rather unbelievable, so it's tempting to take his word at that and likely that he is telling the truth here, that the things on the show are comparatively wild, but it's better to take his words with a grain of salt than not because he's like. The worst.

Izumi: Yeah.
Muku: So he managed to get a ticket for the first day. I’m glad.
Izumi: He said it’d be his first time watching a performance in a theater, he must’ve been very emotional.
Izumi: (If anything, he was a little too emotional. I’d have never expected him to say what he did…)
[Flashback starts]
Towa: … Tsuzuru Minagi-sensei!! I want you to write a script for my troupe!! Please!!
Tsuzuru: Eh? … EHHHH!?
Tsuzuru: You want me to write a script?
Towa: Yes!
Sakuya: That’s amazing! Have you created a troupe?
Towa: Um, I plan to start creating it from now on…
Izumi: Have you gathered members?
Towa: N-No… I plan to start doing that.
Masumi: In other words, it’s just you right now.
Towa: But I… want to create a troupe just like MANKAI Company!
Towa: When I participated in the Spring Troupe's workshop, I learned a little about how plays are created, and what it feels like to stand on stage...
Towa: And I became more interested in theater.
Towa: And then, when I actually watched the Spring Troupe’s performance in a theater, I was moved in a way I’ve never been before.
Towa: Thanks to the hard work of many people, the play takes on a real form on top of the stage, and the actors truly shine…
Towa: It made me think that I want to stand on that stage as well. I want to try shining the way everyone does…
Towa: This may be too simple, and my way of thinking might be naive, but…
Towa: I feel like fate brought me here, to find what I want to do, and to discover theater!
Tsuzuru: … I see. Fate, huh?
Towa: I’m sorry, this probably seems really stupid to you…
Izumi: Not at all.
Tsuzuru: I’ve also felt this way, so I get it.
Sakuya: I also felt that way when I first experienced theater.
Citron: We totally understand Towa’s feels~!
Izumi: Moments like that do happen. I believe that if you feel like you’re destined to act, then that means you have the talent for it.
Tsuzuru: I understand your motivation, and I’d love to cooperate with you. But when you’re the only member in the troupe…
Tsuzuru: Performing a one-person act as a beginner is pretty difficult, so I’d rather your troupe has at least 4 members.
Towa: I need 3 more…
Towa: … I understand! I’ll find them!
Tsuzuru: Alright. I’ll be waiting.
Izumi: Do your best.
Sakuya: We’ll be cheering for you!
Towa: Thank you very much!
[Flashback ends]
Izumi: (I do wonder how things are going with Towa-kun’s company, but I have to prioritize the Summer Troupe’s performance.)
Izumi: (Our ranking may have improved, but we’re still far from the Fleur Award…)
Izumi: (The new companies are all rapidly gaining momentum, so we need to keep our guard up as we move to 2Q…)

There's also this part on the app that you link to your Spotify (or any streaming app that you like) and like if you play one of our songs depending on what member is singing the light changes. -It only works with our songs tho like it only recognizes our songs 😭 but yea pretty cool mood light -And the packaging for the lightstick is REALLY creative, like a lot of people keep the box because of how pretty it is

-I scripted our debut was kind of unknown in korea, but internationally we went popular pretty fast since we were on AGT
-We wore masquerade like masks on AGT
-We are known to have the best visuals and stage presence (bc yeah)
-Our storyline is pretty in depth and interesting. Debating if I want a webcomic or show.
-We produce and write most of our songs, as well as choreograph them. But obvi we have help from the company if needed
-Tbh the discography i created i like but don't like SOOOOO. I need to add Japanese and sub unit comebacks🥲😥😖
-We ALWAYS have really iconic stages
-We have a signature dance move in all of our dances
-We have our own signature ending fairy pose
-We are a group that masters dancing so we have really hard choreographies and when we dance we are on sync. I feel like that's to be expected since we were a dance group before debut SOOO.
-Gonna be real, idk many of the fcs I chose for my members so i apologize. I just went on Pinterest.

My thoughts after tonight's episode. SPOILERS AHEAD.
I intend to take notes through each episode to save me the pain of looking up the scripts or rewatching while I write. Also good to make sure the characters are charactering. Here goes the first episode (16/06!! Belated bday gift)
No comment on Cregan Stark. Very honorable, original Starks but amped up by ten. Awful wig.
Alicole!!! Oh god, oh god!! That man on his knees!! Implied to happen before. Nasty bussiness, but Criston's hair looks nice.
Rhaenyra's grief. Perfect. Emma D'Arcy deserves their Emmy for this episode alone
Parallels between Rhaenyra and Rhaenys. Nicely done. Grieve the same.
Corlys missing Luke :((( Also Alyn!!! Who seems to be older.
Aegon trying and failing to rule is pretty endearing. His smugness is funny, too. Tom Glynn Carrey knows his thing. I saw him in Dunkerke before and I wouldnz't think it is the same actor at all. He and Aemond compliment each other a lot, both move in very distinctive ways.
"He only wishes to please" Damn right Otto
Daemon and rage. My favorite combo. The scene with Mysaria? The hesitation? Then wanting to send her to the cells? Ser Erryk calling him out on his bias? Excellent. Same for Rhaenys. Overall, Daemon seems unable to see or understand anyone that doesn't react as he does. Everyone must grieve as he. Lovely insight. Also him ready to follow his Queen's orders for revenge? Delicious.
Jace with Rhaenyra!!! Luke's funeral, Baela and Rhaena stealing the show with just a second of screentime. My crush on Harry Collet got worse after seeing him with Joffrey.
Alicent lighting candles. Meh. The episode makes it harder to empathize with the Greens which is either bad writing or the writers have an agenda. She got on my nerves in this episode a bit, which us strange because I loved her last season.
Mysaria being dignified even in rags, very regal and I love that she is set on being her own woman. Good for her.
Daemon in the city bribing Goldcloaks, which were always his, in his little murder cape. Ugh. Blood and Cheese but he orders them to find Aemond and off screen kill the kids?? Yup, writers love him. Confirmed, they have an agenda.
Aemond plotting with Cole, both absolutely bloodthirsty. Both very dumb here, I think. Funny that Aemond and Alicent assess each other in the same way, both are "Angry" The cadence which they deliver the lines is even similar. His mother's son. Even in their choice of company. Cole.
Otto versus Aemond, interesting. I like the tone of voice of Otto's actor (Rhys, I think?) Very well spoken, and calm. I feared he was going to turn into a Tywin and I am glad he hasn't. I found Tywin terrifying. Otto may be, but he is less rude about it.
Aegon getting shitfaced on the Iron Throne, in a not so ergonomic position, yet without being cut.
Blood and Cheese. Fun. They are trying to murder each other, poor dog!!! I underestimated them, they are terrifying. Poor Helaena, always drawing the short stick. She told Aegon and he saw them pass, while getting drunk. At least they didn't taunt her so much. The sounds were sickening on their own, thank god it was off screen. Cole in the bed with Alicent!!!! When poor Helaena comes for help!!! ENOUGH. ENOUGH. THIS IS MURDER. It can't end there.
Final line: I came prepared for GOT'S levels of violence, I am glad it wasn't like that. I was ready to skip those, but it was nice that it wasn't necessary. Most of the things that made me uncomfortable in GOT (And why I never finished it) were the sexual violence scenes. Poor Dany.
Final final line: I leave with a new crush on Harry Collet, Matt Smith and Fabien Castel.

The 2025 AEW Manifesto
I thought that I would watch AEW more regularly now that it's available on Max live and on demand, but I've actually stopped watching AEW pretty much altogether. I stopped watching Worlds End 2024 right before that show's main event, and the current Toni Storm and Death Riders storylines feel insulting to my intelligence. One over-complicates wrestling with yet another tongue-in-cheek storyline involving Toni Storm and Mariah May, and the other feels like a muddled, underbaked mess.
That left me with a grip of time to reflect on what I want from AEW, what they could do to get me watching again regularly. So, here's a manifesto I would theoretically nail to the door of 1 EverBank Stadium Drive, Jacksonville, Florida, United States.
The 2025 AEW Manifesto
I. Things AEW will no longer do
Any angles involving cars (wrestlers destroying each other’s cars, wrestlers trying to run their opponents over with their cars, wrestlers crashing their cars into other wrestlers’ cars)
Any angles involving food (no cake smashing)
Hold Stadium Stampede and Blood and Guts as yearly events
Money in the Cash-style contracts
Backstage beatdowns of random security guards and production staff
In-ring championship celebrations
Music videos featuring wrestlers
Skits outside of the ring (in restaurants, wrestlers’ homes, tanning salons, etc.)
More than 1 DQ finish a show (this includes whether a referee sees the disqualifying move)
Promos that tear down their opponents, even if the wrestlers then try to build the wrestler back up by the end of the promo
Racism-baiting promos
Release wrestlers from their contracts
Stop referring to “restoring the feeling” and focus solely on “where the best wrestle”/”we are professional wrestling”
Employ Jim Ross
Dissolve three man commentary booths that banter constantly
Have Excalibur do play by play
II. Things AEW will start doing
Treat pro wrestling like a sport and present AEW as if it were the NFL/NBA/MLB
Emulate UFC as needed
All multi-person and multi-team matches are elimination matches
Time marks (20 minutes left, 10 minutes left, 5 minutes left) will be announced for all matches
If a person or team is getting pushed, they must appear on every show every week in some form (no more than one pre-taped segment per week)
Treat each year as a season (either use the calendar year or use the year from All in to All In)
Pick one wrestler of focus in each group (world, International, TNT, tag, trios, TBS) per season
Announce injury statuses and contract lengths
New champions’ first feud after winning the title should always be a former champion
Let wrestlers cut promos in their home languages as needed, but they need to give their promo scripts to production in advance so that they can be subtitled
Grudges and feuds start and end in matches
Unify the Continental Championship with the world championship
Reorganize the championships to just:
Men’s World Title
International Title
TNT Title
Men’s Tag Team Title
Men’s Trios Title
Women’s World Title
TBS Title
Women’s Tag Team Title
Establish the unique identity of each title
World titles: the peak of the company for both men and women, should switch infrequently
International title: can be defended in other companies or challengers from other companies; those challengers must also win 3 matches in a row in their settings before they can challenge, should switch infrequently
TNT and TBS title: the workhorse title and must be defended weekly on TV, can switch frequently
Tag team title: shouldn’t switch often
Trios title: can switch very frequently as needed
AEW will hold annual tournaments for the men’s tag team, trios, and the men’s world titles
Continental Classic win = world title shot
Tag World Grand Prix = tag title shot
King of Trios = tag title shot
AEW will hold annual tournaments for the women’s tag team and world titles
The Crush Gals Memorial = tag title shot
The Judy Byers Memorial = world title shot
Tournament winners receive big trophies and a big bonus check (actual and in front of the camera)
Wrestlers and teams must win at least 3 consecutive matches to qualify for a championship match (except for the TNT and TBS titles)
This focuses the matches as the storytelling engine
Heels might be incentivized to take on only weak opponents to get their three wins, which would let you book plucky underdogs
If a plucky underdog is able to upset the heel, then the heel might choose to seek revenge, which would create an undercard story
Schedule the tag and trios tournaments so that teams must win at least 3 matches to win the tournament
Tournament timing
King of Trios: middle of the year
Tag World Grand Prix: beginning of the year
Continental Classic: end of the year
Plan tournaments at least 3 months in advance
Announce tournament participants and brackets at least 1 week in advance
Wrestlers should have loose or more formal groups and can target some or all titles at once
Groups can also form to support one particular wrestler
Hire Joe Galli to replace Excalibur on Dynamite
Hire Walker Stewart to replace Tony Schiavone on Collision
Or audition sports play by play announcers or Jon Anik
Rotate Taz, Excalibur, Schiavone, and McGuinness as color commentators
Identify one angle that worked in the past and copy it (for example, the Terry Funk vs. Ric Flair angle) each season
III. Things AEW will continue doing/do more of
Recap videos that summarize wrestlers’ feuds (see Penelope Ford vs. Anna Jay feud video)
Ensuring that lower tier wrestlers win at least 1 match before losing to a more prominent wrestler
Post-match and pre-match promos with Renee Paquette on the ramp
Sit down interviews with Nigel McGuinness

Roman and Gerri are a dynamic that is hard to handle and I'm not saying there is a definitive answer but I am saying that one can't just conveniantly leave out important dots that were made to be connected. Not denying that there is fondness between them, their humor and general assholery seems to be on the same wave length, which is why they enjoy the company they keep, but this is a deeply exploitative dynamic on both ends for different reasons. I wrote way too much about this, but here it goes-
Gerri's perspective:
Before their brief phone conference era, Gerri fixes the rocket launch disaster for him and notices that he takes to her because of it; think of him calling her about Vaulter. After the Hunting insanity he asks her advice which is when she realy knows there is something to be had here and then the phone call happens, which... look. Is there ever an indication Gerri enjoys this on the sexual gratification (not attraction, but I'll get there) level that Roman does? Not really, she can't quite believe it, finds it funny/ interesting but it is simply also such a perfect bonus to know this Roy sibling is with her while Kendall is out and god knows what Shiv might be up to. On the yacht he is also the one to defend her right away about cruises which on one hand, sure, is because they are fond of each other but you can't deny how conveniant that is as well. Throwing her weight behind Roman also seems to be paying off during season 3, he literally causes her to be interim CEO by nuking his own chances. It all blows up though with the dick pic, something that is implied Gerri isn't comfortable with (rightfully so, obviously) but seems to have maybe accepted for a time because of their "alliance". But when it all blows up, especially towards the end, she turns her back because it isn't worth it. "How does it serve my interests" is a fun callback but it is also quite literally the entire summary of Gerri's approach to the relationship. She might feel sorry in a way, but season 4 clearly shows how she does not talk to Roman after this, does not interact if she doesn't have to. Like, why would she comfort Roman on the boat, he just tried to fucking fire her and then he actually fires her because he is spiraling. The last real interaction between them has to be at the election party, because at that point it isn't just 90% business for Gerri, it's 101%. She will get something out of this and, honestly, good for her that she gets re-hired in the end; if anything she was made for this type of environment. It actually speaks to her character that she isn't into the funeral recording, a very human moment but it's important that that is the only thing we get from her on screen. What about the script? Sorry, didn't really happen, did it and it is for the best. (I would have found it insane if Gerri was the one to get through to Roman when Shiv can't, like, no)
Roman's perspective:
Not exactly news that he can't seperate business and family; getting the top spot is literally earning daddy's love and the only motivation for Roman in the first place. So, in comes Gerri, a person he has known for a long time (I want to let the implication "since childhood" slide, because that sounds unnecessarily creepy, but just know I have considered it), and she fixes his mess and holds out a helping hand. She provides guidance that he wants from his father but can't have, because it makes him weak and therefore less in Logan's eyes. He keeps reaching for Gerri in the way that, in an ideal world, he would for his father. But, and this is the most important thing, Roman goes to Gerri whenever he fails to perform masculinity (= heteronormativity=business). Dad calls him a moron? Gerri. Failed phone sex with Tabitha? Gerri. Failed sex with Tabitha? Gerri. Tabitha didn't want his proposal (it's not how you get someone to stay), maybe Gerri does. This is so interesting, because that is the text pretty directly pointing out that whatever Roman and Gerri have is neither romantic nor sexual attraction; because this is in many ways what he had with Grace and Tabitha- only this time it is someone who can actually fill out the paternal role (not mommy, never mommy) because of the business side of things that parallel Logan. Gerri playing into the humiliation kink on the phone is paralleled by Roman listening to dead Logan's fake voice message. And when he sent that dick pic to Gerri but it ended up with Logan... do you really need me to go on?
On a side note; isn't it interesting that any form of "sexual" interaction between Roman and Gerri needs this layer of seperation- phone call, screen, or bathroom door, a home video on the TV (okay that one isn't sexual anyways but still), you get to pick. And then in season 4 he can't even look at her... well. Season 4 also generally cashes in on the Logan and Gerri parallel; when she tells him "i could have gotten you there" and walks out on him a few days after his father, who had just made a business related promise, died..huh. And when she walks into Waystar at the very end, unaware of him, it might as well be Logan's ghost which is why Roman reacts the way he does after.
tl;dr: This ain't romantic or sexual, and it is a shame to not afford it the complexities of being fucked up; it's also not some doomed romance like... no. Gerri kinda got what she wanted in the end, Roman didn't. Shouldn't. At least he's out.

Before we start this dive into a reimagining of a Fnaf Fangame Idea I made when I was 11, I would like to thank my IRL friend who helped me work on this and helped me bring this idea into a concept. She’s the same friend who’s written characters like Eira, May, April, 7 and so on. She’s super nice and I probably wouldn’t’ve been able to even revive this project from the dead without her showing me her own Fnaf Fangame Idea (Disco Dino’s Party Palace) and giving me the inspiration to remake my old fangame idea. For further credits, she helped make mechanic ideas for pretty much all of the animatronics, she came up with the idea for the trailer script to be a cartoon themed around Tesha and her friends, she came up with the protagonist, she made Beetrix and Dawn and she even helped create the in universe joke of the two companies that own Tesha’s Wonderland not being able to decide Eric’s and Beetrix’s theme. She’s super cool and if she had social media (or at a Tumblr), I’d happily promote it.
Thank you again to my friend for helping me with this document.
Game Description (Written by irl friend)
After Seraphina Aguista escapes the now burnt down Disco Dino’s Party Palace, Seraphina finds herself with a new case, investigating the frequent disappearances at Tesha’s Wonderland Amusement Park under the cover of a park goer. Things begin to go wrong when Seraphina encounters Tesha Lynx for the first time. A creeping feeling comes over Seraphina and the reason is soon clear when Tesha knocks her out and decides to play a little game with her…
Trailer Script (Starts with an animated advertisement where Tesha is explaining the park and soon gives you a small tour of the park, introducing her to all of her friends. Additional idea: As she introduces each of her friends, their animated selves glitch into the end of their respective jumpscare animations)
(Tesha pops up on screen, waving quickly) Why hiya there, friend! You must be new here! Oh I’m so excited! We’re gonna have so much fun! (The camera zooms out slightly and Tesha can be seen slightly clapping and bouncing up and down before the camera zooms out to show an animated version of the amusement park) Welcome to Tesha’s Wonderland (That’s me)! Here, at this amusement park, you can experience all kinds of seasonal fun, in one place! Go down to Beetrix’s Spring Fling for a wonderful powdering of honey (picture of a honey bun probably) and pollen (small disclaimer message at the bottom that the pollen is just light yellow confetti, DO NOT CONSUME) and to meet our two amazing Springy Friends, Beetrix and Maddilon! (Tesha approaches Beetrix and Maddilon and saying hi to them, asking them both to introduce themselves to the viewers; halfway through Beetrix’s and Maddilon’s introduction (they introduce each other), the commercial glitches out into their respective jumpscares) or come on over to Eric’s Splash Park Fever (Tesha approaches Eric and rather eagerly (forcefully) asks him to introduce himself to the audience. Eric stutters and looks visibly nervous as he introduces himself, near the end of his intro, it cuts to a snippet of Eric being corrupted by Tesha (either animated (as in Tesha suddenly tackling Eric as he screams in “pain”) or in game, not quite sure), Tesha claps for him and blows a party horn (Eric gets startled and jumps) before leaving and continuing to the next character), or if you’re looking for a thrill, how about Fidget’s Ghostly, Frightening, Spinechilling, Jinxed Mansion! (Tesha says this as she’s holding a flashlight to her face and making a finger wiggling motion before shining the flashlight on Fidget, hanging upside down, suddenly who doesn’t introduce herself and instead ridicules Tesha for waking her up in the middle of the day, like the others, the scene cuts to her jumpscare before abruptly switching back to the ad), or, better yet, if you just want some heartwarming winter fun (with each area introduction, it zooms in on a realistic render of the area with the animated characters, still in 2d. For Tesha’s, she hugs herself as she says ‘Heartwarming’ and falls over into a pile of snow as she finishes), you can come on down to MY (Tesha scrambles back up and grabs the camera with a large smile) Winterland! (The ad cuts to Tesha’s own jumpscare, specifically the one where she’s squishing Seraphina’s face before biting it off). We have other friends at this park too so make sure to check them out! (The camera pans to silhouettes of the other characters). So come on down to Tesha’s Wonderland and enjoy a taste of childhood wonder today! (The TV abruptly cuts and leads into the second part of the trailer)
(The cartoon that plays out at the start of the game plays but the audio is a little more muffled as the camera slowly zooms out to a tv playing it)
7 long nights.
(Player being pursued by Tesha)
10 animatronics of critters big and small.
(Eric helping the player)
Will you discover the truth? Or will you freeze and shatter trying?
(Part of Tesha’s jumpscare; After ‘Will you discover the truth?’, first half of her jumpscare, where she’s grabbing the player’s shoulder with a grin, and after ‘Or will you freeze and shatter trying?’, second half of her jumpscare where a blue ice effect seals over the screen, followed by Tesha pushing you)
Hunted.
(Player camera looking back to see Jade chasing them)
Hiding.
(Beetrix looking for the player whilst they are hiding)
Scared.
(Player plunging into the pool)
Freezing.
(Player by a heater as a thin blue filter starts to retreat)
Secretive.
(Shows a note/drawing briefly)
Tesha’s Wonderland, coming to (Steam and/or GameJolt) on [Insert release date here].
Protagonist
In Tesha’s Wonderland, you play as Seraphina Aguista, the protagonist of Disco Dino’s Party Palace. Seraphina works as a detective in DDPP and also works as a detective here. Seraphina is going to be voice acted by my friend’s mom. Seraphina is sent to Tesha’s Wonderland after being framed for DDPP burning down and is sent here to redeem herself and prove that she’s not the one who burnt down DDPP. She is in her late 30s with no exact age as of yet.
The 4 main animatronics are based off of the seasons
Tesha Lynx - Winter (In a platonic relationship with Fidget Bat)
Fidget Bat (Originally named Bouncetrap) - Fall (Mainly Halloween though)
Eric Elephant (Supposed to be spring but in canon, the two companies that own Tesha’s Wonderland keep fighting over his theme so he keeps switching between spring and summer every day) - Summer/Spring
Beetrix Bee (In the same situation as Eric) - Spring/Summer (When Eric is Summer, Beetrix is Spring and vise versa)
The 6 side animatronics often don’t have a theme
Maddilon FrenchPup - Spring (Beetrix Bee’s Partner animatronic. Based off of a french bulldog we owned irl named Maddie) (Always keeps the spring theme even if Beetrix Bee is summer themed)
Amaya and Adeen - No theme besides Water and Fire (Pretty annoying to encounter) (Water looks for Fire)
Jade OliveGator - Swampy theming (Looks like a much less realistic version of the Rainforest Cafe Gator) (Crawls on 4 legs) (Submechaphobia vibes)
Dawn- Medium, lean black and white dog with one partially floppy ear; loves, adores, cherishes, worships, fond of, attached to, devoted to, idolizes, desires, has a passion for, adulates, cares for, obsessed with, regards, likes, has a weakness of, enjoys, appreciates, be mad/crazy/nuts/wild about, and has a soft spot for balls
Snowy owl character - Snowy owl with at least 4 mini owls (Throwing Owls) that she and Tesha throw at you.
Mechanics (Main Animatronics)
Tesha Lynx - Extremely sadistic; unlike when you die to the other animatronics, getting killed by Tesha causes you to either restart the week or restart the game over completely (hint towards her knowing that you can respawn, ties back to her being sadistic), has the most brutal jumpscares); uses her ability to make ice cubes to make spikes of ice to stop you from running away from her (also important on Night 4); has two modes, hunting and chasing (hunting is activated when she knows you’re in the area to which she’ll assume a prowling animation and will start appearing around corners randomly to scare you or make you paranoid. Chasing will happen at random during this state); aggressive; will chase you
Fidget Bat - Hangs out in dark areas; sensitive to light (use your flashlight to make her stop chasing you/stun her); sometimes flies (she’s a bat after all); add a useable candy object you can use to distract her and get away; absolutely adores candy; aggressive; will chase you
Eric Elephant - Doesn’t attack you until Night 3; helpful (gives you tips and stuff) until Night 3 where his programming gets overloaded by a very angry Tesha (angry because he’s been helping you); very loud (like noticeably loud); great hearing; fairly strong (can throw trash cans (or heavy objects in general) to block your path of escape); neutral; will not chase you until Night 3
Beetrix Bee - Attracted to brightly colored objects and bright lights; she has large pincers under her neck fuzz; can sting you with her stinger; if she sees you, she will leap-fly-hop over to you (she is nearly light enough to fly); she has eyelights because she can’t see well in the dark; she can produce honey from her stinger; her voice sounds like Siri kind of; her wings make a buzzing sound that is near unhearable, so you need to either turn up your sound (would only recommend if you want to go deaf), or listen very carefully; loves bee-related puns and uses them a lot (i.e. “Don’t bee such a sore loser, be better next time!!”); aggressive; will chase you
Mechanics (Side Animatronics)
Maddilon FrenchPup - Assists Beetrix Bee by cutting off your path (you can hear her approaching ahead of time because French bulldogs are loud); listening for loud grunting or the iconic Frenchie Death Call (can attract Tesha to your location); add a ball item for the purpose of distracting Maddilon (She will not chase the ball but she will watch it fly, allowing you to escape); aggressive; cuts you off (will not chase you)
Amaya - Water dragon; Girlboss; Searches for her boyfriend, Adeen, on certain nights; doesn’t have any main character traits; will usually be in one of the five (possibly more) corners of the park; use sound cues to find her (grunting, hissing mumbling); If you encounter her, she’s loud enough to attract Tesha so avoid her as best as you can; if you are unfortunate enough to encounter her, find Adeen as fast as you can to get her off of your tail; Girlboss x Boyloser ship troupe; passive; follows you
Adeen - Fire dragon; Boyloser; really nerdy; totally a nerdy gamer; probably plays DnD; Searches for his girlfriend, Amaya, on certain nights; will usually be in one of the five (possibly more) corners of the park; use sound cues to find him (muttering, feet tapping, wings flapping); If you encounter him, just like Amaya, he’s loud enough to attract Tesha so avoid him as best as you can; if you are unfortunate enough to encounter him, find Amaya as fast as you can to get him off of your tail; Boyloser x Girlboss ship troupe; passive; does not chase you
Jade OliveGator - In Eric’s/Beetrix’s spring room, there is a pool with water slides and pool tubes (she’s not in there during the day because the employees of the park don’t allow her to be in that water for obvious reasons); before Jade starts chasing you, you’ll hear a loud hissing sound cue; aggressive
Dawn- Chases the ball that you throw to distract Maddilon; is quiet when walking and sprinting, but yells loudly for you to throw the ball; when you try to get the ball, he runs away for a few minutes, then comes back; if you can get the ball from him, he will follow you until you distract him to hide the ball- he’s a derpy idiot, so he won’t be able to find it; passive; follows you
Snowy owl character - Like Beetrix, with the addition of the Throwing Owls.
Speed graph
Faster than the player when walking
Beetrix Bee - She’s a bee so naturally she’s the fastest, slightly slower than Protagonist when sprinting
Amaya - Dragon with wings, I don’t need to explain this
Adeen - Slightly slower than Amaya but it’s hard to tell the difference
Dawn- Fast when running
Fidget Bat - She can fly pretty well so…
Tesha Lynx - As a lynx, she’s rather fast; faster than Fidget Bat in her own area (Tesha’s Winterland. What? Winter Wonderland is overused!)
Slower than the player when running (current, might change in the future)
Maddilon FrenchPup - Maddilon is only there to cut you off so she’s naturally slower than the player when walking
Jade OliveGator - She’s an animatronic alligator based off of the real animal so she’s pretty slow compared to the player (fast swimmer though)
Eric Elephant - He’s an elephant so he’s rather slow, easy to evade if you know what you’re doing, makes up for his speed by throwing large objects at you
Snowy owl character - Really slow- doesn't chase much.
Quietness
Dawn - when he’s coming towards you, you can hear the faint tippy-tappin of his toes, he is very loud when trying to give you the ball (“TAKE THE BALL!!”)
Beetrix Bee - Being a bee and all, is naturally rather quiet, listen for soft buzzing to know when she’s around
Tesha Lynx - As Tesha is a lynx, this makes her extremely good at prowling and sneaking up on you. Outside of her Winterland area, the sound of footsteps is gone but the soft hissing sound is still present.
Snowy owl character - Not too loud
Fidget Bat - Fidget, when she flies, is rather loud, as she needed large wings to do this.
Jade OliveGator - She slithers across the ground and you can hear her crocodilian hissing coming from quite the distance.
Amaya and Adeen - Fairly loud as them walking alone can catch Tesha’s attention if she’s close enough
Maddilon FrenchPup - Her grunts you can hear when Beetrix is chasing you are rather loud and are a key indicator that she’s coming to cut you off. Sometimes, she howls too, which attracts Tesha to your location.
Eric Elephant - Not only are his taunts (elephanting toots) really loud, him just walking around is extremely loud! You can hear him coming from a mile away! Not really but still-.
Main Character Designs

Beetrix Bee - Spring theme: Yellow with black stripes (obviously), with black neck fuzz with colorful flowers growing on it; it attracts bees during the day; about 6’05 no matter the theme
Beetrix Bee - Summer theme: Same as spring theme but with nice shades and her stinger is slightly longer

Jade OliveGator - Cartoon gator; big as an actual gator; quadrupedal; deep jade green with lighter green underbelly/accents; deep yellow eyes
Animated Jade OliveGator - Deep aqua (nearing jade green) scales with seaweed patterns separating the darker colored underbelly from the over scales; dressed like a waiter in a cafe; cream white webs in between her claws which are tipped jade green; tip of her tail is missing
Dawn - Medium, lean black and white dog with one partially floppy ear and a curly tail and brown eyes
Snowy owl character - [Desc.]
Jumpscare Animations (Main Animatronics)
Tesha Lynx - Tesha has about 6 separate jumpscare animations she can do with one being exclusive to Night 4.
1.) Tesha grabs Seraphina by the throat and throws her into a wall as hard as she can, the scene cuts to a game over screen where Tesha’s barely illuminated self can be seen stomping on your body, stay long enough and she’ll start tearing it apart.
“Lynxes need 1.1 - 2.7 kg of meat a day, y’know. You should do nicely!
2.) Tesha grabs Seraphina and shoves her over before stomping on her stomach and chest a few times before stomping her head in. Game Over screen just has her stomping on your body and tearing it apart again.
“I prefer rabbit but you’re not too bad!”
3.) Tesha freezes Seraphina completely and shoves her over, shattering her entire body into a million pieces (Inspired by Riley’s(?) death in Freaky). Game Over scene sees Tesha giggling sadistically as she pretends to be trying to put your body back together.
“I’ll put you together again, I promise! I’m great at puzzles!”
4.) Tesha grabs Seraphina’s face and smushes it around a little, muttering to herself, before biting into your face. Game Over screen features a crude, childlike drawing of Tesha where it shows her eating a limb on a stick like a corn dog, next to a small campfire (the limb is roasted or smth)
“Yummy! Campfire treats…!”
5.) Special Jumpscare: Tesha grabs Seraphina and drags her over to an icy pool where she drowns Seraphina. Game Over screen is in the style of the advertisement where Seraphina’s body floats to the surface, frozen in ice. Tesha’s animated self can be seen giggling mischievously.
“The water’s super cold-! Oops, too late…~”
Fidget Bat - Fidget has only about 3 jumpscare animations she can do.
1.) Fidget flies forward and grabs Seraphina by the shoulders before flying into the air and dropping her. Game Over screen shows Fidget sitting on your body like a nest.
“You forgot your sky diving equipment. Dummy.”
2.) Fidget grabs Seraphina by the shoulders and is implied to suck the blood out of her. Game over screen shows animated Fidget drinking an “apple juice” on a ledge in her mansion, kicking her feet happily.
“Bats don’t drink blood! That’s a harmful stereotype!”
3.) Fidget grabs Seraphina by the neck and bites her head. You can see her fangs before the impact occurs. Game Over screen shows Fidget’s animated self munching happily on something that is too in the shadows of the mansion to see.
“Apple juice! My favorite! Always good to eat fruit and get your daily amount of vitamins in you!”
Eric Elephant - Eric only has 2 jumpscares he can do.
1.) Eric lifts Seraphina up and trumpets in her face as loud as he can (I recommend you turn down the volume). Game Over screen shows an animated Seraphina curled up with her hands over her ears as blood trickles from them before Animated Tesha literally runs in and elbow slams Seraphina, impact is not shown for maximum funnies.
“Sorry…I didn’t mean to be so loud.”
2.) This only happens when Eric is pursuing you directly. Eric’s trumpet can be heard from behind and as Seraphina looks back to see, a trash can is thrown at her, cutting to black as it hits. Game over screen shows Animated Eric, crouched over your body, poking you slightly as a soccer ball can be seen rolling away slowly.
“This is why elephants shouldn’t play soccer, Tesha. I told you my kick could hurt someone…”
Beetrix Bee - There are 2-3 jumpscares she can have.
1.) Beetrix grabs your neck, ripping off her neck fuzz to reveal a set of disturbing pincers, and she stabs them into your skull. Game Over screen shows her animated self dragging a trash bag and putting it into a dumpster as she makes bee-themed puns.
“I’ll get a buzz from that!” “I guess you need to bee more careful!”
2.) Beetrix knocks you over, and plunges her stinger into your lungs, flooding them with honey. Game Over screen shows her animated self smelling a flower, whilst your body is being dragged into a nearby hive by Maddilon (Alt: Your body can be seen nearby, covered in honey and swarmed with bees)
“I love honey! And flowers. But more so honey.”
Jumpscare Animations (Side Characters)
Maddilon FrenchPup - Maddilon cannot give you a jumpscare but is present in Beetrix Bee’s game over animations.
Amaya and Adeen - These two are passive and cannot give you a jumpscare.
Jade OliveGator - Jade has 3 jumpscares, one that occurs only outside and 2 that occur in the pool if you’re standing besides the pool or inside of it.
1.) Jade catches up to you and bites down on your legs, quickly eating your whole self in multiple bites. The game over screen has Jade’s animated self wiping her mouth with a cloth.
“They should call me Gustave! …Wait, that’s a boy's name.”
2.) Jade reaches her talons out of the pool and drags you into her pool where you see her jaws close in on your character. Game over screen shows Jade eating a slab of meat in a fancy way at a table.
“Looks like crocodile handling wasn’t for you!”
3.) Jade swims up to your character and wraps her jaws around Seraphina’s torso, shaking your body around. Game over screen shows Tesha on top of a ledge with a bucket beside her with Animated Seraphina in it who looks very panicked. Tesha bows to an invisible crowd before kicking the bucket into the water. Animated Jade leaps up, grabs Seraphina with her jaws and falls back under water.
“Fun fact, crocodiles and alligators used to be 2x our size and 8x the length we are now!”
Dawn - Dawn has 2 jumpscares, one that doesn’t actually end the game and one if you neglect him for too long.
1.) Dawn drops the ball and jumps onto you, knocking you over as he tears your neck open. Game Over screen shows his animated self with a ball over you (you appear to be knocked out) as he licks your neck repeatedly.
“Shoulda taken the ball…!”
2.) Dawn knocks you over, stunning you as he stands over you still howling about the ball. Happens before the first jumpscare.
“Take the ball! Take it! TAKE IT!!”
Environments
Tesha’s Winterland - Tesha’s Winterland is held in a large dome structure. When exiting, you’ll find yourself in a light blue room with snowflake patterns on the walls. A picture of Animated Tesha is on the wall with a height chart beside her along with a speech bubble with all the rules. There are ice skates in a room behind the counter.
Through the door from the front desk is a large, sprawling room that’s a complete flashbang when you first wake up there. The air in the room is freezing cold with a snowing simulation often running (created with fake snow) and has igloos (with tiny, in ground heaters in them) scattered around the Winterland. In a distant corner is a counter with a candy cane on either side of it with the label ‘Tesha’s Hot Cocoa Igloo’ on the top of it.
The front exit door is frozen with ice and your goal is to use your mini heater to melt through the ice. In order to do this, there are small, easy to miss batteries scattered around the Winterland that you need to pick up and use in your mini heater. (Tip: Your Mini Heater will not warm you up. Use the heaters in the igloos to help warm you up. Do not lead Tesha to these heaters because 1, you are not safe from her in the igloos and 2, Tesha will freeze the heater).

Some recentish shows of note, or lack thereof:
COUNT ABDULLA: Charming comedy about a Pakistani doctor who gets turned into a vampire by a white vamp with a fetish for brown men, and the many complications that ensue. Not so much a horror story as a witty parable about the travails of being a person of color in Tory Britain today. (So, a horror story after all, then.) Jaime Winstone needs to dial it back, but the rest of the cast delights.
DEADLOCH: Snarky comedy-mystery by a well-known Australian comedy team, about mismatched cops investigating a gruesome murder in a small town. The mystery is clever; the payoff is blah; and despite the predominantly female, mostly LGBT cast, the humor is awfully reliant on misogynistic and homophobic cracks that frequently cross a line from "laughing with" to "laughing at."
HIJACK: Tense but very contrived seven-part thriller about the hijacking of a British airliner on a seven-hour-flight from Dubai to London, with passenger Idris Elba the wildcard. Gripping, but not terribly plausible, and the many false climaxes become exhausting, especially if you watch the episodes back to back.
THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Convoluted, intermittently fascinating, unpleasantly mean Sky sci-fi thriller about an app developer named George Addo (Paapa Essiedu), who's drawn into a secret organization that can undo world-ending disasters (natural or manmade) by resetting time to a predetermined save point, like a video game, although this has harrowing consequences for the handful of people capable of remembering the repeated resets. At first, this is basically just window dressing for grim espionage procedural nonsense, with some extremely questionable character motivations, but after a relentlessly bleak midsection, the first season finds its dramatic footing in the unexpectedly interesting final episodes, in which the premise is pushed to its breaking point and the grimness gives way to black comedy. This is the note on which the considerably more complicated second season begins, but it again grows uglier and bleaker as it goes on, and any sympathy for George, positioned at the start of the show as a relatable everyman, has long since evaporated. There are some provocative ideas and a number of surprisingly funny moments, but the whole story is predicated on pushing the characters into morally compromised positions (one assumes creator Joe Barton always has a browser tab open to the TV Tropes "Moral Event Horizon" page), and the fact that some of the (many) atrocities the characters perpetrate in hopes of fixing the existential catastrophes they've set in motion are subsequently undone doesn't make them any easier to stomach. Anjli Mohindra (who plays Archie, the veteran agent who initially recruits George into the project) remains frustratingly under-utilized in both seasons.
THE MORNING SHOW: Big-budget, all-star TV news drama is all dressed up with nothing to say, undone at every turn by truly spineless whataboutism and a centrist world view so gormless it makes Aaron Sorkin seem like Alexander Berkman. Reese Witherspoon is pretty good as closeted bisexual cohost Bradley Jackson, but costar Jennifer Anniston's limited range becomes a problem, particularly as the quality of the scripts declines noticeably in later seasons. You could always just watch BROADCAST NEWS.
THE OTHER BLACK GIRL: Disjointed adaptation of the 2021 Zakiya Dalila Harris novel scores when it focus on the workplace drama of a young Black woman in a painfully white publishing company, but trips over its own feet in its attempts to also be a paranoid thriller, with plenty of bad vibes that never add up to a coherent sense of threat and a conspiracy plot that doesn't really make any sense.
THE PERIPHERAL: Misfired adaptation of the 2014 William Gibson novel is executive-produced by the same people as the recent WESTWORLD series and has the same problems: big ideas that don't translate into action and an infuriating tendency to consign characters of color to marginal or villainous roles. Worse, it eventually becomes clear that several more compelling characters have been sidelined in favor of the poor white trash leads (Chloë Grace Moretz and Jack Reynor), who are neither very interesting nor especially sympathetic.
WHO IS ERIN CARTER?: Kinetic but preposterous seven-part action thriller with Evin Ahmad as a suburban mom in Barcelona who is secretly an incredible badass with a shady past. Basically a violent Walter Mitty fantasy for soccer moms who love the JOHN WICK movies, with a showy supporting role for Denise Gough from ANDOR.

Session 1 Recap: Part 1/2
Our story began on a train racing through the cosmos. Chuck and Dolly had arranged to meet on this train for an interview that would highlight Chuck’s prowess as a bounty hunter and create a “deep and nuanced character portrait”. Though, as the interview began it became increasingly obvious that this was not going to be the case. An exhausted and uninterested Dolly began asking questions about Chuck’s experience as “the first sapient automaton”, which left him confused as he is not a robot. When he shut these questions down, she switched to the rest of the script her company sent her which included such insightful questions as: “favorite food?”, “favorite color?” (to which Chuck looked down at his vibrant red scarf and replied “blue”), “have you ever killed anyone?”, and the most important of all “favorite position, sexual?” (that one is an exact quote).
The interview quickly ended after that, as neither of them seemed particularly interested in pushing beyond the awkward script. The two sat idly until a group of heavily armed men wearing heavy dusters, black hats, and pretty much every accessory you would expect from a train robber made their way into their car. These men “politely” asked Chuck and Dolly to evacuate the car, and since they were outnumbered 20 to 2, they obliged. They spent the next ten minutes in an argument with a malfunctioning ticket taking automaton, and we cut to our next character boarding the interstellar rail.
Geraldine, buzzing with excitement, boarded the train. She made an effort to sit next to as many people as possible, settling in with her poofy dress and massive rifle that she brandished openly. She wasted no time asking those sitting around her everything she could about where they were from and what they were traveling for. She was keeping an eye out for adventurous looking folk who might want to join her on her journey, and regularly pulled out her sketchbook to draw interesting people and take notes on anyone who looked like the fun kind of trouble. Unfortunately, it was clear that she was naive, and even more clear that she had money. One of the people sitting next to her offered to introduce her to a few seasoned bounty hunters in exchange for a small fee, which she gladly paid. That person disappeared without a trace, and left Geraldine waiting for someone interesting to appear in the car and greet her.
With perfect timing, our final character strode into the car. Prometheus had been moving through the train looking for easy marks. He locked eyes with Geraldine and knew she’d be the perfect target. He slipped into the seat ahead of her, and immediately sparked a polite conversation, dropping details here and there about important business that he was on. He caught her interest, and offered to sell her a star at the edge of the galaxy that she could one day rule when the Galactic Kingdom expanded far enough. Partially out of interest in the deal, and partially out of a desire to help her new friend, Geraldine offered to buy a star. As Prometheus began drafting the certificate of ownership, Chuck and Dolly entered the car and found themselves sitting across from Geraldine.
Over the course of the next hour, the four drifted in and out of conversation: Dolly, with her perceptive eye, noticed the obviously fake star certificate and began poking holes in the scam (which Prometheus deflected at every turn). Geraldine took an immediate interest in Dolly, noticing that she was covered in tattoos and wearing a scandalously revealing dress, and began shooting questions her way. Prometheus and Chuck did their best to stay out of any heated conversation, but didn’t exactly draw away as things continued to get interesting. Prometheus kept an eye on the new arrivals, trying to evaluate them and whether he had anything to gain by sticking by them, and Chuck continued to nervously study the car full of barely concealed outlaws. Eventually, everyone settled down waiting for their respective stops. Geraldine continued to draw interesting people and take note of anyone who fit her criteria for adventurers. The most noteworthy of which may have been Dolly herself, who ended up being the subject of a very detailed and attractive sketch.
Over the course of the hour, the other inhabitants of the train car began to exit, some of them rather hastily. Soon, only our four characters and a mysterious cloaked figure remained in the car. As Dolly looked around, she couldn’t help but notice that every other car seemed to be emptying out as well. They tried to poke at the cloaked figure, but got little information as the figure was silent and refused to look in their direction. They decided not to address them directly, as everyone got an uncomfortable feeling off of the obscured individual.

Fist of the Shangri-la Idol - Action Star: Chapter 2
Location: Fist of the Shangri-la Idol Movie Set Characters: Touri Season: Summer
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ< That evening. The end of filming. Taking down the set. >
Tumblr media
Touri: Ahh~ *Munch, munch* ♪
Mm, that’s delicious! I can feel the calories filling up my tired body~♪
Ehehe. You’ve always been great at baking sweets, Anzu~ You have my praise! I’ve said this before, but if you ever find it difficult to make a living, then you can come work at my mansion, okay? ♪
Huh? You don’t intend to go job-hunting for a while? You worked really hard to learn stuff like cooking in order to become a perfect “producer”?
Yeah. We all know how hard you’re working, Anzu. And we’re also doing our best to respond to your feelings too, of course.
Right now, it looks like we’ve hit a pretty big snag, though…
Do you know what I mean by a “snag”? It’s like an obstacle. I had to look up a bunch of words when I was memorising the script, so I learnt a lot of difficult words.
Yeah. Heheh, I’m “really doing my best”, aren’t I? ♪
W–Whaa, you don’t have to pat my head! I’m not a small child, okay?
…Yeah. Be careful~ I don’t think it’s a good idea to be seen being all touchy-touchy with someone of the opposite gender.
We’re idols, after all. And for some reason, my heart’s been beating oddly fast whenever you pat my head recently, Anzu…
Oh, yeah. It’s just that it seems the entire movie set is on totally different wavelengths from each other.
That’s normal when it comes to “Trickstar”, but we “fine” are supposed to be watching over them and things aren’t exactly going well with us, either.
I know it can’t be helped, though. We’re not used to other work apart from performing…
I’m sure you’re already aware too, but “fine” took the initiative to perform and set the standard when we were the centre of Yumenosaki.
Surprisingly, we’re not exactly good at other work aside from what we do best…
Oh, by that, I mean “what we do best at Yumenosaki” – in other words, performing.
Yeah. That’s precisely why we’re taking part in “Fist of the Shangri-la Idol” as actors, though.
We want to gain new experiences ourselves under the pretence of watching over “Trickstar”.
Yeah. We also took auditions after receiving unofficial offers from the film company, just like “Trickstar”. And we were assigned official roles afterwards.
Long-Hai– I mean, Hibiki-senpai seems to be a special case and apparently his role was decided from the very beginning, though.
Being an “actor”... well, acting isn’t something new to him, anyway. So he’s busy working as the “leader” this time.
It seems our approach this time is to “challenge ourselves with something new”.
Yeah. That’s why Hibiki-senpai is playing the role of the “protagonist’s master”. Roles like that are usually pretty important.
But they don’t get a lot of airtime.
I’m the cutest person in the entire galaxy, so obviously, I got the role of the “heroine”.
It hasn’t been announced what their gender will be, but they’re treated like a cute, defenceless girl in the story.
I don’t really mind, though. Their background seems pretty anachronistic.
Also, Eichi-sama doesn’t know how long he can act, so he has the role of a “wicked merchant” who dies somewhere in the middle.
Of course, I’m sure Eichi-sama can play any role perfectly from beginning to end.
But he decided he would “try not to push himself too much” sometime during “Tempest Fest”.
It’s what we wanted him to do and there’s no way we’d tell him to “do his best even if it means pushing himself too hard”...
In my opinion, I think he’s more suited for a better role since he’s a top idol at Yumenosaki, though.
Anyway, Eichi-sama got such a minor role and yet Yuzuru got a leading one for some reason.
He’s the “protagonist’s rival” – It’s a role that stands out from beginning to end.
That Yuzuru… Well, I guess the “heroine” and “rival” are similar in terms of which role is better.
I don’t think it’s because I’m inferior to Yuzuru or anything.
…It’s just that Yuzuru isn’t really used to being in the spotlight, so I’m worried about him.
He always wants to make me look good while he takes a step back behind me.
Yuzuru’s an idol too so it would be nice if he could come out to the front a bit more.
Not as “Touri Himemiya’s servant”, but as himself, “Yuzuru Fushimi” – I’m sure he has quite a fanbase.
He’s always been good-looking since he was young and sometimes he can do some pretty cool stuff that makes your heart skip a beat.
Huh? Why don’t I tell him that in person, you ask?
Say what~? …I don’t wanna… He barely gives me any compliments, so why do I have to shower him with praise?
His attitude doesn’t change whether I praise or curse at him, so it doesn’t feel worth it.
We’ve really known each other for a long time, but I’ve hardly ever seen him looking embarrassed or losing his composure over something.
I think he showed more emotions when we were really little, though…
He’d bawl his eyes out when he got scolded by his parents and hide behind the tree because he was scared of King…
But then he got sent off somewhere for “training”.
We were separated for some time and when he came back, he was like a robot.
If he became like that because of me – for my sake – then I think it’s also my job to return the things he lost back to him.
To be honest, I shouldn’t be focusing on something like that right now… Oh, geez. Seriously, what’s gonna happen to this movie?

A somewhat brief, but NOT SPOILER FREE Ladybug and Chat Noir movie review:
(I’m sure the kids this was aimed for enjoyed it better than I did.)
I watched it on Netflix.
The voice acting was great as usual. The singers had good voices too. THE ANIMATION WAS GORGEOUS.
But some technical stuff kept me from enjoying it as much as I could have. And of course, I have my gripes like every other person. And I am older than the target demographic. The movie wasn’t BAD, it just wasn’t for me. The way the plot was rolled out wasn’t what I’m used to.
I already knew it was going to be a musical. But I didn’t have high hopes, because of that one Christmas musical episode the series did a few years back. I admit that at the time of that episode airing, the voice actor for Adrien wasn’t great at singing. And if the actor is not a singer, I understand using a different voice for the songs. And the singers for the songs are different from the voice actors in THIS movie. And the singer for Adrien n had a similar enough tone to just barely match to the voice actor… But it really jarred me just how different the singer for Marinette was to the voice actor. Don’t get me wrong, the singer was really good at singing the songs, but it was blatantly obvious that It was a different person singing for her, and that the tone was just too different. and I’m sure the voice actor for Marinette already could sing? so why didn’t she? I think this part of the production process might’ve been done or around the time they were fighting for equal pay and such with the production company, so I can see how it happened I guess?
anyway, when it comes to the script, other than the songs I personally thought it was pretty bare-bones. It showed all the moments they wanted people to see throughout the series, but there is almost no transitional period between the parts. first there was the learning of powers and becoming a team, then SUDDENLY it was the last fight and they don’t need their powers anymore and reveal themselves to each other? One tiny montage was not enough to fill in that big of a jump and make it smooth. They tried to cram all the seasons into one film this time. What I see as a young adult who’s studied film and script editing isn’t the same as a child who was the target audience. I get that. Doesn’t mean I don’t still feel frustrated over it, but eh it is what it is. The transition of Gabriel ignoring/controlling his son to suddenly being worried when he came home (and not giving a full moment for us to see him react)didn’t feel like it was justified. And they really put too much time into Gabriel’s reasoning for his crimes, and putting it at the VERY END didn’t feel right. But then at the end when Gabriel is ousted they don’t show the repercussions? Not even him in jail? They just announced it was him on the news and then go back to the storyline of the “dance” and Adrien is perfectly fine?like, OKAYYYYY I GUESS. 👀
But.
Guys.
“Save one life save the world?” The throw away “Master Fu” character we got in this movie was ridiculous. I can’t express it more without making this post way too long.
***And btw Gabriel was only hotter because they actually gave him a decent neck size and (occasionally) 5 o’clock shadow. He was a great singer…and he had actual emotions at the end.
Okay. I’ve said my piece. I’ll get off the soap box now.
