Amelia's old design from Ken Duncan's pencil tests. From his Instagram: "Captain Amelia design exploration via an animation test. 2000 After spending some time designing Amelia, I started an animation test, as we normally do. Emma Thompson was the voice actor and the design had a similar facial bone structure to her. These first few drawings are from the animation test. After it was completed the directors viewed it and felt it wasn’t appealing enough. Perhaps she came off too “cold”, not enough charm. I drew over these poses with some new design ideas, which are shown in the following drawings here. Also, the last few drawings show my thumbnails that’d I’d sketched before animating, as I listened to Thompson’s voice performance (all on 2 pages). (Based on my sketches here, I’d always thought her hair was going to be black. I was surprised when I saw the eventual color model)."

Since I don't wanna spoil too much of some of the new stuff I've been making, I will talk about stuff thats new but not really a spoiler for MiM

It's a character who's got a smaller role, but I like her quite a bit. Her name's Mandy Craven and she's one of Joshua's friends from before they met Aaron. She works at a thrift store and she n Josh still talk even after they left school. She even meets their new friend group and gets on well with the others.

I hope she goes on Graham Norton and Zane Lowe, Graham Norton is British and Zane Lowe doesn't have writers IIRC, I love hearing Taylor talk about her craft and I know that she has a lot to add to the subject.

I think Zane Lowe is more feasible given her current schedule, but who knows she could always hop over during the week and tape a show. I love her interviews with Zane and it’s been a while since she’s last talked to him. I’d love to hear him ask her about the re-recordings and everything.
