Also I had a feeling it was them, but there's this serial scammer that's been operating & scamming on tumblr since at least 2016, and it's now basically confirmed that blktransdyke/raisedeyebrowemojii was being run by this scammer. This is also why their scam blogs operate for a number of years & we don't generally use the "new blog asking for money" red flag for this scammer, because they literally have been running multiple scam accounts for YEARS.

BTD/REM was being run by the now-deleted scammer roboticwheelchair, who was called out for running a scam raffle in 2020. On that blog they also claimed to be trans, claimed to be in a wheelchair, claimed to be disabled, and allegedly needed fundraising, and on twitter they used the exact same trans flag icon for a pfp as blktransdyke's alternate account where they pretended to be a trans man instead. Roboticwheelchair also used the name "Falum Gibson" for their paypal, and lo and behold, they used it again where they were impersonating an Afro-Palestinian.

and they usually ALWAYS include these details in their scams

That they are trans and/or otherwise not cishet

Often will say that they are homeless or in danger of being homeless

Often will say they are being "kicked out" by an abusive, homophobic/transphobic parent (sometimes will include a screenshot of a very rehearsed alleges conversation between themselves & the alleges parent, where the screenshot very conveniently captures the exact moment the parent says something close to the effect of "your existence is a sin against God, you are not my child, and this is why I'm kicking you out", and it all very conveniently fits on this one screenshot)

Other times they will say they are in danger of being homeless because of bills

Often will also claim to be depressed and/or disabled (either autistic, and/or will give a really long list of alleged disabilities. Its not that being multiply disabled is necessarily rare, but the amount this person gives is either just autistic, or a long list of things)

Sometimes will say that they are caring for a young child, and then that child will "die"

Almost always offers the payment options of paypal/venmo/cashapp/ko-fi/a gofundme if American, or if claiming to be Canadian, will offer paypal/ko-fi/a knockoff of those, but weirdly never gives an etransfer (indicating they're not Canadian)

Claiming to be a Black, disabled, Lesbian is a favorite story of theirs for a scamsona. They do not shy away from racefaking.

This person has been doing this for YEARS, and has raised literal thousands of dollars, and no way in hell needs that money.

Hello! Do you have any sources or resources about the history and differences between the lesbian flag with stripes and the purple one? (I forgot the name of it, but the one with an axe)

I see soooo many people hating on the purple one and I don't understand why, and I think asking feminists is likely the best (and most trustworthy) source of info on this

The Labrys Flag! (Fun fact, that's why I use purple hearts in my posts!) It was designed in 1999 by Sean Campbell for the lesbian community (strictly). It has a bigger presence in radical feminism now which is why you may find ppl talking shit about it and anyone who uses it.

This is a very short summation of an interpretation of the the use of the labrys in the flag but still very interesting to read! I have no direct sources myself to send you off to about the flags but I can just sum up for you real quick what I know. The lipstick lesbian flag (all pink, a pair of lips in the corner) is no longer used by people because it was created by someone who apparently excluded butch lesbians, bi women, and was racist. so it's a no go.

The pink to orange was used to express the much needed love for gnc/butch women but has in recent years been co-opted by TRAs (they imply that the orange stands for TIMs.) But you can still very much use it for its original purpose. I used it for my first pfp actually!

This is all from my basic understanding and very brief, in the moment, looking up of things rn. if any of you gyns see something i might have tripped up on, pls correct me. otherwise, i hope this helped, anon. <3

I used to think im a lesbian and ow I feel nothing but shame and embarrassment looking back on it. I knew I was bi before, but I read about "comphet" and thought that I was a lesbian (I'll admit, I also wanted that to be true because I hated being bisexual). I called myself a femme, put the lesbian flag in my pfp, and felt great. I had my rude awakening when I discovered "terfs" and saw them all criticize comphet, talking about hoe bi girls like me are destroying their community. It made me feel extremely guilty so I called myself bisexual again.

I'm not trying to victimize myself, because I know what I did was wrong and I shouldn't have just infiltrated the lesbian community because I hated my own sexuality, but damn, that hurt a lot. I still wish more than anything I could be straight or lesbian.

There is a huge difference between:

"I called myself a lesbian because I deeply hated my bisexuality to the point where I thought I was a lesbian, and the comphet doc was part of convincing me that I was actually a lesbian, but now I've realised that I am simply bisexual, and now feel bad for using the wrong label for myself"

and

"I maliciously called myself a lesbian even completely knowing that I was bisexual and just lied on purpose for no other reason than selfish clout online, and now I feel guilty for deliberately lying like that now that I've grown up and realised that behaviour was wrong"

Be honest with yourself. Did you go out of your way to ID as a lesbian to maliciously harm lesbians? Did you falsely call yourself a lesbian to infiltrate lesbian spaces because you felt entitled to them? Was there a cruel component in that?

Or were you dealing with severe internalised biphobia and simply doing your best to cope, and now you've come to realise the truth about yourself, you feel bad about being wrong?

Because if it's the former, then you do need to do self-reflection and improve as a person and drop that homophobia, because that behaviour is always wrong. But if it's the latter, then yes, that's unfortunate, but it's one of those things that happens. There are plenty of bisexual women that I've spoken to who genuinely thought they were lesbians, and then there are bisexuals like me who genuinely thought we were straight. Then we all realised we were wrong. There's no anger or guilt about "I mistakenly called myself straight," and there's no anger at lesbians or gay men who mistakenly believed that they were bisexual before coming to terms with being lesbians or gay men.

There's always this underlying belief that everything that a bisexual does always has to be malicious, unlike everyone else, and then that adds to our guilt and makes us weaker, especially if we're women and already have that female socialisation firmly in place on top of that biphobic socialisation.

So think about that, first. If you were malicious, you need to make amends and do a lot more to support the lesbian community. If you were simply mistaken, then you need to be honest about that and forgive yourself.

when we were in a relationship (that was uh 8 months in 2020/2021, from october until very early june) he basically forced the label 'woman' onto me. back then, they were a non-binary lesbian going by they/she, i think. not too sure about the pronouns, but that doesn’t really matter. the problem was the label lesbian. they knew well before our relationship that i identify as demiboy. and for me, there was nothing lesbian or wlw about that. i identified as omni ace, with a pretty big mlm lean. they knew there was zero girl in me and still identified as a lesbian, saying i’m an 'exception' and all that stuff. tbh, i don’t think he ever saw me as anything that doesn’t include girl or is heavily male. and, idk, i’m just fucking angry. because, now, after a year, he’s fucking gay. they’re identifying as a person that could be attracted to me with labels that i’d be okay with in a relationship. (like, idc if you’re lesbian & attracted to me. kinda contradictory with my identity, idc tho. but as soon as we’re dating & you’re a lesbian, i’m not comfy.) it’s fucking with my head, fr. why?? why could he never be gay for me??? why did they have to be lesbian?? i forced myself to be genderfluid for them. we called our relationship lesbian because he wanted to. i ignored all of me and tried to identify as a non-binary lesbian for them, just so he’s comfy. and now, suddenly, he’s fucking mlm.

i know they aren’t at fault for identifying the way they do, but it fucking hurts. like, i made myself out to be a whole other person for 8 months!!!! eight!! while not comfy at all!! and 4 out of those, i wasn’t even happy, and only stayed bc i was 99% sure he’d go kill himself once i break up and i was so fucking afraid of that!!!!!

and the problematic flag is the lipstick lesbian pride flag, which has the lipstick mark. no one knows who took the lipstick mark off the flag originally. the lipstick mark is what makes the lipstick lesbian pride flag the lipstick lesbian pride flag, it was removed for inclusivity among the rest of us lesbians. ergo, this flag is just...the lesbian pride flag.

hi everyone!! this post is going to be a serious rant about homophobic behavior because i'm fucking pissed!!

tws include: swearing, homophobia, me being pissed off, caps, and long post.

so, about ten minutes ago, i was on youtube trying to find the blue's pride parade song again, and when i searched it i saw some...more interesting videos about it come up. it was mostly just typical homophobic bullshit about "lGbT cOnTrOls ThE mEdIA!!!! bOo HoO rAiNbOw PrOpAgAnDa!!!!!!", you know, the usual. it made me think of my very homophobic brother, so i decided to actually see what these shitbags had to say. and that was my first mistake. i ended up stumbling onto a video of a guy with a blue lives matter flag and "i survived the PLANdemic hat" talking about how we need to "pRoTeCt ThE cHiLdReN!!" in an 11 minute video. i could only stomach watching about the first minute before i gave up and read the transcript. basically, the guy was talking about how parents need to protect their young, impressionable children from seeing the lgbtq+ stuff that companies are marketing towards them.

and then i made my second mistake. i scrolled down to the comments and found these comments. this is a screenshot of them, and the only thing that has been changed is me censoring their names & pfps with rainbow colors (just to piss them off). this isn't a collection of the worst screenshots, this is one cohesive image of the shit that was the comments section.

i don't even know where to start. i genuinely don't even know where to begin except by giving all of these commenters a big "fuck you", especially to the pink and blue comments.

some honorable mentions include the top comment that was bitching about basically "the people that cant have children want to teach your children about their sexuality? HMMMM" (paraphrased) and a post about the "communist fist embedded and hidden inside the microphone" (direct quote).

to that person, all i have to say is that's the fucking black lives matter fist, you pitiful shit-stain.

i...i don't know what to say anymore. i'm so angry. what is wrong with people? why are they so mad about their children seeing some lesbian alligators holding rainbow flags? it's not "PuShInG sExUaLiTy OnTo ChIlDrEn", it's having some basic fucking representation. it's teaching children that if they are lgbtqia+, it is okay. they are not 'broken' or 'damaged', they are loved and beautiful. and hell, even if they're not part of the lgbtqia+ community, there's even a number for allies supporting their queer friends.
