I am so close to crashing out. Tell me why I was almost done writing this blog and then guess what. It got “saved as a draft”. Spoiler! It wasn’t in drafts and now I have to rewrite it… it’s alright, you can laugh ߹ ᯅ ߹

I’m going to say what I said initially here (before this app deleted my whole blog…). The reason why I got so into astrocartography is because it worked for me personally. The country (and city) that I currently live in falls under my sun trine MC aspect line, which is amazing for my career and development. Mind you I never even knew about astrocartography until this year, but even before I moved here, when I was just visiting the country, I felt such a weird attraction to this place. It was insane. I am so glad that I did move here. The amount of opportunities, and leadership positions I was pushed into are crazy.

Also, since this post took so long to write, I just wanna apologise. I was on break and as soon as I finished, I had to go back to the grind. I didn’t get to post at all. I’m just waiting for the exam season to end and for this year to end so I can be more constant with my posts. The reason why this post took so long to write it’s also because I wrote so much and it took me a horrible amount of time to compile all the necessary info. But I hope you guys enjoy it. If you have any personal experiences with living on a specific line, please leave a comment so I can read it (since I’m so nosy).

What is astrocartography?

So when your beautiful soul gets placed in a physical vessel, the planets and celestial bodies in the sky have certain positions. Those positions will reflect not only on your birth chart, but also on your astrocartography chart, which shows precisely the lines formed by those celestial bodies and planets.

When looking at your astrocartography chart it’s also important to keep your birth chart in mind because it can have an influence on how you experience certain lines alongside other factors that will be discussed later on in this blog.

An astrocartography chart has major lines and aspect lines. In this blog we will focus on the major lines and in the second part we will talk about the aspect lines (for some reason they r severely overlooked online, which is weird since I believe those are more accurate).

How do I access my astrocartography chart?

It’s easyyyy. There are multiple free calculators online that can calculate your chart. The one that I use is provided by “Astro.com”. You are more than welcome to use other sites tbh, but I like this one cause it has ur aspect lines, and it has them nicely sectioned as positive and negative aspects, which makes it easier to understand for people who aren’t as familiar with all the little details of astrology.

If you search “Astro.com astrocartography chart” it should pop up. After you fill in your details, you will automatically be presented with a map that has multiple colored lines. That is your chart. Zoom in and out as much as you want to be able to navigate the map.

For those who don’t always remember every symbol associated with each planet (just like me frl), here is a small image that can help you with that:

Every line is color coded with the symbol. I know the map is crowded, especially if you zoom out, but just you wait till we get to the aspect lines. It’s a soup of colours.

How do I read my chart?

Ok, so few things before we start. If you look closer you will see next to every planetary symbol, a few letters, AC/DC/IC/MC.

Bear in mind, every planet or comical body has a certain influence on an area of your life. And the positions next to it represent how that will mostly manifest.

AC: it’s all about YOU. Your inner development, your inner self, your IDENTITY. You will embody the energy of the planet physically or behaviourally.

DC: this is all about your relationships, whether platonic, professional or romantic. You are going to attract the planet’s energy through other people/connection you make.

IC: this is your roots, your home, your traditions even and your emotions. You will feel this planets influence in your home environment and this position is deeply transformative.

MC: here comes the moneyyyy. Ok so this position is about your public recognition, your career and it’s such a good boost. You’ll feel it through how the world sees you. Great planet for massive recognition in your field.

It’s also really important to check your personal birth chart alongside your astrocartography chart to be able to get the most accurate interpretation.

Please mind that there isn’t inherently a good line or a bad line. Each line is supposed to teach you certain things. Every line will have its ups and downs and depending on what you are searching to achieve, the lines can help you achieve it faster. Mind you that at the end of the day, it is up to you to put in the effort to get what you want. Astrocartography shows you where the flow of energy is smoother, allowing for certain things to manifest easier.

Now that we covered the basics, let’s dive in!

Sun line:

AC: you just radiate love. This line will make you shine for who you are and it will bring you closer to your true self. Great line for self love and acceptance. the event was loud, packed with people and the bright lights overhead felt like they were boring straight into your skull. you’d been fine earlier, just a little tired, a little sore.

but now, the cramps were hitting you at full force, twisting through your abdomen like barbed wire. your whole body ached, nausea creeping up your throat, and the dizziness in your eyes made it hard to focus on anything but trying to stay upright.

you had always gotten bad periods when you were a teen. the kind that left you curled up in bed for hours, body aching like you’d run for days straight, the cramps hitting so hard you could barely even keep water down.

for years, doctors had brushed it off as something normal, telling you to take painkillers and wait it out. it was never normal, but your parents couldn't do anything but listen to the medical advice you were being given.

growing up, you never knew what it was like to have a “normal” period. while your friends seemed to get through it with just a little discomfort here and there, you were the one clawing at your desk, trying to breathe through cramps that felt like they were ripping your stomach apart. your sisters had just told you it was part of growing up, that it would get better as you got older. but it didn’t. it only seemed to get worse.

in high school, when you started playing basketball more seriously, the pain of your cramps started to affect your performance. you’d be on the court, trying to push through a tough game and suddenly your body would just give out. you couldn’t concentrate on the game or your teammates, you could only focus on getting yourself off the court as soon as possible.

eventually, after enough trips to specialists, you were finally diagnosed with primary dysmenorrhea when you turned nineteen. primary dysmenorrhea is caused by a chemical imbalance in the body, which causes an overproduction of prostaglandins, and in your body's strong attempt to rid the lining, it's much more painful than it should be.

you began learning how to work around it though. by the time you were at uconn, you’d become an expert in managing and listening to your body. you knew your limits and how to stay ahead of your pain.

you’d adjust your play with your trainers to prepare for the worst days of your cycle, always making sure to keep your body well rested and heard. on those tougher days, when the cramps were almost unbearable, you knew how to take care of yourself whether it was icing down, using heat pads, or taking painkillers.

you were prescribed medication to help manage the pain, but it came with its own set of problems. the meds worked, there was no denying that. they helped ease your cramps, the headaches, and your dizziness. but they also made you drowsy, tired, and slowed you down.

as a professional basketball player, those were the last things you could afford. being sluggish on the court was a game changer, but not in the way you needed, and you weren't about to give up your spot for some nonsense pills.

you tried taking them on off-days, on your recovery days, but even then, the tiredness lingered longer than you liked. it was hard to balance the benefits with the negatives especially when you needed to stay at your sharpest, always ready to give your best performance for your team.

so more often than not, you chose to skip taking the medication. your cramps would be unbearable at times, but it was easier to deal with than feeling groggy and uncoordinated when it mattered most. the meds made you feel like you had lost control of yourself, control you weren't about to give up. it felt like a decision you had no choice but to make.

you hadn’t taken your meds this morning. you couldn’t. not with the game this important. the pain was something you'd learned to deal with over the years. tuning it out, ignoring it, finding ways to get through the day without letting it affect you.

but today was certainly challenging you. your body was rebelling at you, no matter how much you tried to push it away, almost as if it was mocking you for being scared to take simple medicine.

you glanced at the bench, where you see cd notice the look on your face, the way you were clutching your stomach as you sat on the subs bench. you gave a small shake of your head and a smile, trying not to show how much it hurt. no time for weakness, especially when your spot could be taken in a second.

but as the final buzzer went off and the team huddled together in celebration of the win, you knew it was only a matter of time before the pain would force a takeover and you would be limping away from the homearena. the moment you got home, you'd be back in full recovery mode, heating pad on your stomach and trying to make it through the worst of it.

you'd been living with this for so long, managing it, hiding it. almost forgetting about if.

paige noticed immediately though. she always did. her hand was on your shoulder in an instant, her brows knitting together in concern. “hey, you okay?” her voice was soft but firm with you, she knew something was up but she couldn't quite place her finger on it.

you forced a small smile back, but the throbbing under your stomach was almost too much to hide. "yeah just a bit sore from the game." you muttered, but even to your own ears it sounded unconvincing. you were lying through your teeth and paige didn't buy it for a second.

she crouched down beside you, her eyes scanning your face, studying the way you were gripping your stomach. “you sure? cause you don’t look okay.”

you closed your eyes for a moment, trying to steady your breath, but the cramps were coming harder now, but you let go of your stomach as she looked down again.

you nodded quickly, refusing to show any weakness, refusing to let it be something that would cause paige to talk to your trainers. she could get you cut off from matches if they found out you were skipping out on your pain meds.

“seriously, i’ve got this. just need a minute.” paige raised an eyebrow, clearly sceptical at how defensive you were being, but nodded regardless. “don’t push it too far. i’m watching you.” i nodded back, grateful for her concern but too stubborn to admit how drained i truly felt.

as the high of the game wore off. my energy had plummeted and my vision was beginning to blur. the room was getting tighter, the noises from the crowd booming, but my legs felt like they were made of stone and i stayed in place.

without warning, my knees buckled and i let my body fall. i couldn’t stop it. my body gave in, crumpling to the ground. i heard someone shouting my name as i felt hands on my shoulders, turning me onto my side as they called for help.

paige’s face was the first thing i saw when i blinked my eyes open again. concern etched deep into her face, though she was trying to mask it with a forcely tight lipped smile. “hey, can you hear me?”

i nodded, though everything felt like a blur and her words were slightly distorted. the stadium’s sounds were muffled and i could barely make out the voices of my teammates, but paige was the one who kept me grounded. her hands on mine, her voice gentle as she instructed me to focus on her.

“just breathe, okay? slow and steady with me.” her words were firm, but soft enough to comfort me as the panic set in.

it wasn’t long before the medics arrived, their quick movements barely registering in my mind as the blonde lowered me to the floor. paige kept talking to me, helping me focus on her breathing whilst she kept her hand on my my shoulder.

as the medics checked my pulse and asked me questions, i could barely get the words out in my state. the pain was still there, i could feel sharp knives digging into my back, but the dizziness in my head was worse.

my body felt heavy, like i was sinking into the cold gym floor of the arena and i couldn’t stop shaking. "what happened?" one of the medics asked, his voice calm but urgent as he pressed a cold towel against my forehead.

"she just dropped," paige answered for me. "she wasn’t feeling great after the game. she has dysmenorrhea, and i don't think she's been taking her medicine." the medic frowned, glancing between paige and me as they slid something soft under my back. “is that true?” he asked and i could feel paige’s eyes boring into me, waiting for me to say what she knew had been happening.

i swallowed hard, my throat dry and bitter, my body still trembling from the cramps. i didn’t want to admit it, but there was no point in lying now. paige had clearly already put the pieces together. i gave a small nod. “yeah.” i mumbled, barely able to even look guilty because i knew what i had been doing. “didn’t wanna take it before the game.”

"has this happened before?" the medic asked.

paige looked at me, waiting for me to answer, but i didn’t. i didn’t want to admit that, yeah, it had happened before. i’d pushed myself too far more times than i could count and i had ignored the warning signs until my body just gave out. "yeah," paige said when i didn’t speak. "she has really bad cramps. worse than normal."

i wanted to protest, to say i was fine, but i couldn’t even form the words. the medic pressed two fingers to my wrist, counting my pulse, while another checked my blood pressure. i could see my teammates lingering nearby, their faces blurred in my vision, their whispers blending with the distant sounds of the crowd still filtering out of the stadium.

paige let out a frustrated sigh, but there was no real anger in her face, she only ever worried about you. “you should’ve told me.” she said, shaking her head and looking up. “you scared the hell out of me.”

you barely managed a nod before another wave of pain hit you in the stomach like a truck, making you hunch over slightly as you tried to walk out of the stadium. paige didn’t hesitate to help you, her arm wrapped around you, steadying you as she scanned the room. “we’re getting you out of here.”

you didn’t argue. you couldn’t. it's not like anyone would let you leave the arena by yourself, and paige wasn't about to just let you off. the ride home was a blur, you eyes were barely open but you could feel paige’s hand around yours, her thumb rubbing slow circles against your skin. every time you winced, she gave you reassurance, promising that you’d be home soon.

as soon as you stepped inside your apartment, paige switched into full helicopter mode. she helped you change out of your clothes into thick pyjamas, guiding you to the bed and tucking you under a heap of fluffy blankets she had found. “okay, doctor p reporting for duty,” she announced, already moving. “heat pack first, then meds, and i’ll make you tea. do you think you can stomach something?”

you shook your head weakly, pressing the heating pad she handed you against your stomach as she returned with a glass of water and some painkillers. “just this for now.” she decided, watching to make sure you took them before brushing your hair back.

paige held your chin upwards to make sure you didn't spit them out, because even though you had agreed to take them she couldn't trust you anymore. “you’re burning up, babe. hold on.”

minutes later, she was back with a cool cloth, pressing it against your forehead as she gently massaged your temples. "your body is so important baby. if you won't take care of it like it deserves then i'll have to take care of it for you."

"you don’t have to," i murmured, though i didn’t pull away from her hand. my body was still too weak, too drained, but even if it wasn’t, i wasn’t sure i wanted to. i let my heavy head sink back into the pillows. she huffed. "of course i do. you think i’m just gonna stand by and watch you neglect yourself?" her voice softened, fingers slowing but still moving through your hair. "i can’t let you do that, ma."

"i'm sorry," i whispered.

paige sighed, brushing a stray strand of hair from my face and tightening the blanket around my body. "don't be sorry," she said, her voice gentle but firm in that i knew she was being serious. "just let me help you, yeah?"

you let out a weak laugh and paige grinned back. “there’s my girl.”

as the medicine started kicking in, exhaustion weighed heavy on you, but paige stayed close, shrugging off her shoes and tucking herself into your side. “i got you,” she murmured into your neck, rubbing her face against your skin. “i love you.”

Gladly!!! I’ve already brought up some Stan Weirdmageddon Bubble stuff here, but the equivalent of the Mabel Trial for Stan makes me wanna blow up I just adore it!!

Okay, so first things first, here’s Captain Stan’s design, my precious baby boy <3

Figured it’d be fun to mix some aspects of Grunkle Stan’s Mr. Mystery outfit with a pirate twist, just for fun!

As for the ‘trial’, its more of a argument between two boys who just WONT talk about their issues

Fiddleford, Boyish Dan, and Anjelita are also there, but Stan isn’t mad at them. In fact, he doesn’t even care that they’re breaking the rules by being there, he’s only mad at Ford. He’s mad that Ford was just going to leave him behind and send Stan back to New Jersey by himself while he stayed and studied with their Grunkle Dipper. Leaving Stan all by himself at home. Alone to deal with their father. Alone with no friends. Alone to be the family disappointment.

But no matter how mad he gets at Ford, Stan can’t ever say that he’s hates him, and Stan would give him a million chances to fix things. So, instead of immediately throwing Ford off the deck of his ship, he gives him an ultimatum. A very easy solution to all of this.

All Ford has to do is say that he’s sorry, and Stan would let him go. He won’t leave the bubble because he actually really likes it in there, but he’ll let Ford go.

This.. doesn’t end very well

Stan, absolutely heartbroken, decides to make his brother walk the plank. If he’s dead to Ford, well then Ford is dead to him as well.

However, right before his crew could push Ford into the water, something happened.

You see, when Stan unknowingly gave the rift to Bill he only had one wish. That he’d never be alone again. So when he first appeared in his bubble it was actually completely dark and empty, except for a small light glowing in his hands. It was a little version of Ford. He smiled and laughed just like he did when they were a bit younger, and he said everything Stan wanted to hear.

Very quickly Stan realized he could manipulate the bubble and create anything that he wanted, just like he could back in the Mindscape. So he created what he knew. Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey. It was full of never ending boardwalks, houses and attractions with silly names, and that beach he loved so much. It didn’t take long after that to realize it was still quite lonely, even with Lil’ Ford (a name he lovingly gave the small version of his brother). However, he didn’t want the town to be full of faceless nobodies or people he actually knew, that’d be weird.

Then he had the genius idea to just fill the town with himself! After all, he never had to worry about himself betraying him or leaving him behind!

Soon the town was overrun with imperfect duplicates of himself and he couldn’t have been any happier.

However, the duplicates were so much like him that it soon made a new problem arise. They started asking about Ford. Like, ‘Where is he?’ ‘Can you make one?’ ‘I miss having him around.’

Stan did have Lil’ Ford hidden under his pirate hat, but he didn’t want to tell the other Stans that he was there. He didn’t know exactly why he kept Lil’ Ford hidden away. Probably a mixture of bitterness and anger still aimed at his real twin brother and a selfishness to keep Lil’ Ford to himself. So he just declared that Fords were banned altogether and left it at that.

This was a problem when right as Stanford was about to pushed off the plank, Lil’ Ford came out from under the Captain’s hat and told Stan to stop all of this.

The two bicker for a moment and some Stans ask who that is, causing Lil’ Ford to happily state that he’s Stanley’s brother, that the two are going to sail the world together, and that he loves Stan very dearly.

This doesn’t go over well with literally any of the Stan on board and it especially doesn’t go over well with Ford

The Stans pull a mutiny and try to kill Stan because they don’t think he should be Captain anymore and one of them should run the town instead.

Hard cut to Boyish Dan, Anjelita, Fiddleford, Ford, and Stan having a high speed boat chase with other Stans and popping the bubble while escaping. (I like to think Stan popped the bubble at the last second with the help of Shanklin <3 )

Stan is NOT happy about having to leave his Weirdmageddon bubble.

“You should have left me in there. I was HAPPY there.”

“Who cares if you were happy, you were living a lie! A sad delusion! You should be happy we pulled you out of there!”

Boyish Dan has it cut in before the two start fighting right then and there

Stan eventually calms down enough to decide that he’s going to save their Grunkle Dipper from Bill, but there is a thick tension between Stan and Ford that last until the huge blow out fight at the Cipher Wheel

A fight that started because Stan wanted Ford to finally say it.

I saw someone talk about how they broke out of the “antizionist” echo chamber so here’s my story about it!

Cracks started when the college encampments did. Even that deep in I still felt very uncomfortable with, yk, hoards of Ivy League students (and professors!!) chasing Jews out of schools. Even that deep in my brain still recognized Heh, What The Fuck (surprise, propaganda does not deprive a person of moral integrity or responsibility!). I ended up logging off tumblr and the other online spaces I was in. One could call it a detox. Touching grass. Best decision of my life. When I came back, I found @/rootsmetals on Instagram. She is amazing. For people you don’t know her: she talks about Jewish history and current events and boy does she bring receipts. After her, I started looking at a ton of other Jewish influencers (that feels like a weird title but idk what else to call it), and MAN I am so happy I did. Moral clarity and consistency is amazing. Now I’m going into anthropology, and I really want to study in Israel- beautiful place and people, and god DAMN is Jewish history impressive.

Trying to use the arguments/methods that worked on me- I also hope I can do that to teach gentiles actual Israeli history cuz there is a DIRE shortage of facts about Israel in… basically everyone. For example: people have a hard time grasping the idea that calling Jews Nazis is antisemitic, so here’s the explanation I’ve found works the best; Nazism without Jew-hatred is not Nazism. There are plenty of other words for what is left over, but NOT Nazism. Holocaust education has been horrifyingly whitewashed to make it as little about Jews as possible and to make people feel less guilty, and now we’re in a society that Holocaust survivors say is way too similar to the 1930s. Jews cannot be Nazis because Nazis are inherently violent antisemites.

mainstream leftism needs to get tf over itself. Surprise, the world is not black and white. They try so hard to fight the Middle East into their fucking Democrat/republican oppressed/oppressor bullshit. Hogwarts at spring was always your favorite. The bright sun warming your skin, lovely meadows dotted with flowers. Classes always seemed a little easier, everything just felt lighter.

You longingly stared out the window you were sat next to. Fingers tediously playing the with quill that was in your hands, destined to stain your fingers black. God was it too perfect of a day to waste inside.

A few giggles surrounding you suddenly broke you out of your daze. Your eyes darted around the room when suddenly they fell on Professor Slughorn. His eyebrow cocked up and a playful glare on his face.

"Am i bothering your nap time" He jokes. "Or shall I continue"

"Yeah sorry" You smile nervously, setting your quill back down on the table and adjusting your position to actually pay attention this time.

"Like I was saying Potter and y/l/n" He reads off your names, before just as quickly moving onto the next pair.

Your head whipped to the left to find James and the rest of the marauders already glaring daggers into your head. You weren't one to hate many people, despite what nonsense the green that adorned your body put into peoples head.

James and his co marauders however had become the exception over the years. You had never spent much time with them but you were one of the many who were prime targets for their pranks.

The first two years of school you managed to get away from their mischievousness, and you even thought it was funny. Especially when they went after Snape and Mulciber. Who even you could agree were utter twats.

However when you became friends with Regulus, Barty, and Evan you began getting lumped into the 'bad slytherins' group. Which was weird considering Barty wasn't even in your house.

In the corner of your eyes you could see blonde curls shaking around. Your eyes wandered to Evan smiling putting both thumbs up. You tilted your head at him giving him a confused smile. What a weirdo that one was.

"Correct, it also is extremely powerful" He adds. "Now if everyone would please find their assigned partners we can get started.

You waited until the majority had already found their new spots before stalking to the other side of the room where James was standing looking into the bubbling cauldron.

"Goodluck" Barty smiled pushing his shoulder into yours as he walked by. You were going to need a lot more than luck. A gun maybe.

Nobody missed the pointed looks that found their ways to the marauders from others in the class and Professor Slughorn.

You watched James lean slowly in closing his eyes as he took a whiff of the potion. Slowly pushing his messy curls back in precaution. You hated to admit it but you understood why girls seemed to flock to him.

His lips parted for a moment before his eyes opened again.

"What are you smiling at" He huffed staring at you.

You quickly straightened up, your slight smile dropping as quickly as it had formed.

"Move let me smell" You grunted slightly pushing him out of the way. Closing your eyes you inhaled the scent.

Broom polish, tangerines, and a faint smell of what you think is coconut oil.

You pulled away, a slight frown on your face, the smell felt so familiar like it was something you had smelled a million times. It felt like you should've been able to guess it instantly. Yet you couldn't

"What did you smell" James asks. Moving his hands to the table and leaning a little closer to you.

For a moment you're confused because he almost actually seems interested in what you have to say. God were you tempted to tell him but who were you if not petty.

"Tell me yours first" You challenge.

James began saying the first thing he smelled before Sirius laughed loudly and there was a large noise from behind and suddenly James was no longer by your side.

He noticed things about you that typically other people would point out as weird, at least to the people of Outer Banks, but JJ would say it’s different, a breath of fresh air even. You had pretty, dyed, curly hair and somewhat fair skin that’s always sun-kissed and the prettiest makeup that made your puppy eyes pop, and he noticed the way each piece of jewelry or how you did your makeup was an expression of you on the inside and matched or complimented you perfectly, almost like everything you wore was meant and made particularly for you; he noticed how everything depicted a phase in your life, whether good or bad, and he noticed you even had a palette: teals, greens, yellows, and what suited you the most, pink. You had different pieces of clothes; he could tell you didn’t shop where the rest of the kooks shopped, and he loved your staple piece, your short shorts, and everything hugged you so well. to say the least, he noticed things he had never noticed in anybody. He became so detail-oriented, and he couldn’t understand why he noticed everything about your beautiful, soft soul. 

“Oh, J, hey, you smile softly, waving at no other than JJ. “Hey, princess, still too cool for us?” He smiles smugly, taking his hat off. “Pft, shut up. You make your way up the stairs and into your room, making sure to shout a quick “Hurry up!” to Kie in the process. In your room, you try and get yourself a little dolled up. You don’t want to admit it, but it’s for JJ. You wanted weird things when it came to him, like you wanted him to think you’re pretty or… take off your clothes, but that’s a different story. 

You found everything JJ did so interesting, and you always wanted to get to know him more, but more than ever, you felt connected with him, like he was a part of you. When you saw him, your heart softened, and you wanted to just kiss all his worries away. You could tell he was sad, but he brought light to whatever darkness he was around, just like you. 

You giggle thinking about his goofy antics and fix up your makeup and hair. putting it up and continuing everything else you put on a cute but comfy outfit with your favorite low-rise Converse with pink laces and spraying a perfume that smells almost of laundry detergent, your favorite smell.

Since we'll hopefully be getting out of the VnC hiatus soon, and this new arc seems to finally be turning the spotlight back to Noé and calling out some of his more troubling traits for the first time, I've been thinking a lot about him recently.

I've talked before on this blog about Noé's inability to recognize or process bad things when they happen to him alone. He bounces back from and idealizes almost any experience as soon as it's over, even when he absolutely shouldn't. It's one of my favorite traits of his, and it's been lampshaded a couple of times in-manga. Louis calls out how weird his attitude toward his kidnapping is during the mémoire 9 flashback, and the "be a little bothered" from Vanitas and co in mémoire 57 has the same effect.

We also recently got a whole extended sequence of Vanitas and Domi complaining about how Noé also never anticipates harm before it might come to him. He waltzes into dangerous situations like it's nothing, almost as if he thinks he's unkillable. Combined with the above, this is just more of his strange brand of optimistic denial. Everything is fine in Noéland! It can't possibly not be fine! He always trusts and thinks the best of people and situations by default, never wanting to expect they may do wrong, and so long as a given event doesn't involve harm to external innocents and/or Noé's loved ones that he can't rationalize away, he compartmentalizes and denies harm once it's done. Thus he carries on in blissful ignorance, his past suffering having no effect on the blithe trust with which he treats the world.

But in addition to all that, Noé is also very notably divorced from the consequences of his own actions. It's not that he's *incapable* of considering his own effect on people, and he certainly tries to be kind and decent, but much of the time, it just doesn't seem to occur to him that people will have reactions to the things he does. He does as he sees fit, and when his deeds impact the people around him, especially if they produce a reaction that could upset him, it bounces off his mind in the same way that potential traumas do.

On the more lighthearted end of the spectrum, this leads to things like Noé never noticing when people are attracted to him. It may also have something to do with his airheaded messiness—the way he's always thoughtlessly making a mess of the hotel room and incurring Vanitas's wrath in bonus materials. On the heavier end of the spectrum, this causes a lot of genuine problems for the people around him. He's largely oblivious to the depth of Dominique's mental health problems until she's pushed to her breaking point at the amusement park, despite the fact that he's inextricably entangled in the cause of them. He also completely loses sight of Vanitas's reactions to him when he gets caught up in his protective rage at the start of the vanoé fight, and it takes an outside reminder from Jeanne and a literal mirror to make him realize that his own actions are part of why Vanitas has devolved to such a state.

This lack of self-perception on Noé's part feeds back into the other problems I laid out at the top of this post, his obliviousness toward his interactions with the rest of the world helping to facilitate his denial. It's part of the happy little insulating bubble that he interacts with the world through. And as the other side of that coin, his automatic, unthinking denial of things that could hurt him is part of what enables him to ignore his own impacts on the people around him. You can't reckon with or worry about harming other people when you live in Noéland where everything must be fine. I think the fact that he wants to be a good person that doesn't harm others actually makes it harder for him to confront the truth of how he impacts the world, because him hurting others is a Bad Thing that would cause him mental harm.

We've seen Noé mess up, understand his mistake, and apologize for it before. He apologizes to Vanitas for making assumptions about him after the bal masqué, he apologizes to Vanitas again at the end of the amusement park fight, and he apologizes to Riche for speaking with ignorance about dhampirs. However, I think the bigger a mistake of his is, the more harm it causes other people (and the more understanding would hurt him as a result), the harder it is for Noé to comprehend his wrongs. He's clearly trying to make things right with Domi, and he's told her that he values her, but I don't know if it's yet occurred to him to conceive of their mess as a situation where he's done her active wrong. He also literally passes out on her mid-conversation, leaving Domi and Vanitas to carry him back to bed when he was supposed to be comforting her.

But I think the most fascinating example, the moment where all this comes together into Noé's most feeble and blatant act of denial yet, is the first time he sees Misha after clawing up his face. The anime actually changes this detail, which is its own can of worms to get into, but in the manga, when Noé sees Misha's injuries in the light of day after attacking him, he immediately fucking turns around.

At the end of his wits at the amusement park, Noé claws a child across the face in a fit of anger and protectiveness. I'm not interested in condemning Noé for this, especially given that the child in question was actively trying to stab Vanitas at the time, but I will say that his actions are quite extreme. Given Vanitas's response and the way Misha's injuries are portrayed, I think it's clear that the manga wants us to see how Noé hurts Mikhail as something troubling and extreme. He gives that kid a pretty horrible injury, and Misha will likely have scars on his face for the rest of his life.

And regardless of how justified he may or may not have been in hurting Misha in defense of Vanitas, it's clear that Noé himself is upset by the true extent of what he does to Mikhail's face. When he looks at him in the light of day, when he sees a numb-looking child with his face wrapped in still-bloody bandages, though we only get to see a small segment of his face in that moment, he looks sick. He knows that he's done something troubling, and I'm sure he feels all kinds of heavy and unpleasant emotions.

This is one genuinely bad thing he's done that Noé cannot deny. He can't rationalize this one away and make it all copacetic. He can't conveniently forget the emotional reality of suffering and harm, because that reality is standing ten yards away from him. And he can't just apologize for things either, because apologies cannot undo physical harm, and frankly, I'm not sure he'd be able to give an honest apology for his one. Sickness at the results of his actions doesn't mean he fully regrets hurting Misha, at least not at this moment when emotions are still raw.

But Noé, confronted with this undeniable source of guilt and pain, is still ultimately unable to look the pain he's caused in the eye. A problem piercing through the happy veil of Noéland and forcing him to acknowledge it doesn't mean he's capable of reckoning with that problem. Instead he just. turns away from it.

Noé, forced to acknowledge a harm he's done and unable to employ all the many layers of automatic insulation that usually protect him, physically turns around because he cannot bear to look at the person, the child, that he's hurt. He employs the very last possible form of avoidance available to him, even though it's useless in the ways that matter. Not looking at Misha doesn't mean he gets to un-know the fact that he maimed him, but he simply cannot bring himself to look.

Noé is extremely good at playing "I do not see it" with things that hurt him. He's good enough that I think he has genuinely no idea he's doing it a vast majority of the time. Whatever mental shield he has that's protecting him is automatic enough that the badness that could hurt him doesn't ever even seem to cross his conscious mind. But no matter how automatic and subconscious, this tendency of his is still, and the end of the day, nothing more than an unhealthy coping mechanism, and this moment helps to put that to our attention.

What's the difference, really, between him cheerfully acting like Jean-Jacques and Chloé's assaults never upset him and him turning around so he doesn't have to look at the wounds he gave Mikhail? Noé can't look at pain, can't acknowledge the things he finds upsetting (at least not things that cause him alone pain, as others' pain often triggers his savior complex and spurs action). This scene with Misha throws that into the light, forcing Noé to desperately cling to his avoidance in an obvious and physical way.

Even when there's no way to deny the harsh reality of having done something he finds horrific, Noé Archiviste cannot make himself look directly at a painful truth, be it others wronging him or his own wrongdoing. It takes an external hand to step in and force him to turn his head and acknowledge/reckon with a problem. And even then, who knows if intervention can always be successful.

The start of the dham arc so far has drawn a lot of attention to this pattern of behavior, with Vanitas having to sit Noé down and explain to him in detail why his words said in well-meaning ignorance make Dante so upset. This is Noé being forced to look at a harm he caused because he couldn't or wouldn't look at and comprehend the problem (his fellow vampires' racism) in the situation he was in. But upsetting Dante is ultimately a low stakes problem for Noé. He put his foot in his mouth and offended a peer; he didn't shred Vanitas's little brother. He's able to accept his wrongs and feel his discomfort without resorting to physically turning around and avoiding the issue.

I want to know what Noé will do if/when this arc forces him to confront a source of pain he can't handle in a context that's more high stakes than a social faux pas. I want to see what he'll do when something really forces him beyond his ability to believe that everything is fine. How badly would he have to be hurt to lose his ability to filter an event/events through rose colored glasses? How badly would he have to hurt someone else? Or is his instinctive shield good enough that he'll never get out of it on his own? And if so, who else might step in to make Noé own up to reality?

Teacher and the Archivistes are becoming plot-relevant now, and our attention is being drawn to Noé's issues. I think there might be something coming soon that even Noé can't turn away from and cheerfully pretend isn't hurting him. Teacher even ends his appearance at the amusement park with a little speech about having to "wake and face reality," which makes me even more certain that a wake-up call for Noé is imminent.

Either that, or Noé's going to mess up and hurt somebody even worse than he hurt Misha later this arc, and in that case, we might get to see a feat of denial even worse than him literally turning around to avoid looking at the wounds he caused.

✶ GOJO

you actually meet his ass when he almost crashes into u and while making a difficult drift turn before swerving at the sight of you. plus  surprise … you’re the police chief’s daughter. gojo at this point is still using a jacked up camaro, so it’s a wonder he’s able to still speed so well away from officers. but it’s not like he was running away from any crime, he just so happened to stumble across an interrogation of a fellow classmate initiated by the police chief’s son (your younger, cop worshipper brother). it was hardly an interrogation tho, more of a bully circle. gojos an cocky man but hes not entirely closed off from things happening around him. when theres people being wrongfully treated he steps in, but he’s pushing the limit a little running away from your brother and his police chief dad. especially when he’s got ties with the racing scene lol. bro doesnt exactly care tho, cause he knew the modifications he made to his engine he’s sure to get away lmaoooo.

there’s a rush of adrenaline that matches the exact moments when the first gear change happens and his foot presses down hard on the break, feeling the familiar sensation of the steering wheel under his fingers as he turns it to the right. nothing like a successful run of a difficult drift route, even more so with an annoying fucking kid chasing him. he was miles behind too, and gojo has to laugh out to himself in the driver’s seat before he yelps out at the shadow on the street.

“damn street lights. don’t even want to spend a few thousand to fix it,” he scoffs, thinking the figure would’ve apologised and ran away, but he’s a little pumped to see you, a relative of the very kid he was running away from. “don’t wanna chase me with daddy over there?”

you notice he’s nodding his head toward the incessant siren, your hotheaded father and your insufferable brother, two of them who butt heads all the time but still manage to get along. you couldn’t care less though, because of their arrogant, conceited behaviour; you vowed never to be like that. your father failed to raise you how he wanted you to turn out: dyed hair at sixteen, a stick ’n poke a year later, colluding with the “wrong” people (they were harmless, he just didn’t like them).

so he turned to your brother, corrupting his mind, and since then, you’ve been a ghost in the house, happy to even be ignored by the conservative kin that find people who are different a ’hassle’. with a story like this, gojo isn’t exactly clueless to your situation so he reaches over and opens the door to the passenger seat in a silent offer.

what’s a little salt in the wound, right?

gojo giggles when you slip in like he knew you would and you simply shrug, knowing this would seal the deal. you know you’re right when you hear furious honks from the police car which is quickly approaching, but watching gojo evade police on the news made you confident he’d outrun them every. single. time. “ooh, doesn’t sound good, princess. i’ll pick you up if you get kicked out of the house.”

it was such a dirty, rude comment that you would’ve slapped him but instead you just burst out laughing, weird noises and all before you’re patting the hand on his stick shift, “drive, hotshot.”

all you can do is roll your eyes with a smile, not missing the exhilarated smile and blush on his cheeks. you already feel at home in the 1969 camaro he’s driving, seeing the exact same car later that night when you’re waiting on the sidewalk with a bulk of your things.

“so much for being daddy’s girl.” gojo smiles, a little sickeningly that you want to punch him (you hear it’s like that from his friends and you find it to be true), but you accept the ride anyway, with a promise he’d get something more later.

✶ GETO

the first time you see him is before a race, having stumbled into the bustling underground of cars and the peak of 2000s fashion because you’re still navigating japan even after six months on an exchange program. it’s difficult when they have different parking lots for every monument building, which all look the same, mind you. it was like a puzzle for your poor mind, especially since there was tons of undocumented alleys in the area you were in. u immediately get hit by the smell of petrol and smoke and conversation and it’s like woah…. stepping entirely into a new world sort of??? even with his fame suguru stays humble tho, keeping gojo ans nanami close to him while keeping his distance from fangirls and stuff. shit gets messy !!!!

gojo nudges geto so hard he almost falls if not for his mazda behind him, and he’s ready to shoot a glare towards satoru but then he looks past the annoying man and into the crowd to find you, doe eyed and looking all around the place like a deer caught in headlights. you’re all dressed up in a cute get-up, hair framing your face so cutely he has half a mind to talk to you. plus, it’s clear you don’t belong here, and there isn’t anything wrong with that but the people here sometimes tend to be a tad bit… stuck-up.

there’s already a few in the crowd giving you weird looks and others giggling, clearly put off by the confused glances you exchange between your phone and the area. geto is prepared to head your way, but his resolve hardens when he sees todo and his gang start to approach the poor person who can only freeze in place.

geto pushes off his car immediately, completely disregarding whatever comment gojo was making while nanami watches silently. todo’s already asked you a question, and when you don’t answer, everyone knows the next thing he’ll do is to humiliate you, but not before geto interferes.

“she’s mine, aoi.” shoving him away, todo only scoffs and spits on the floor beside you because he can’t do anything except leave the place before anything escalates. it’s a clear rule, too, that anyone’s partner or significant other is off-limits, unless you want to propose a race to win them over — but even so it’s not that simple.

the murmurs only heighten when geto asks if you’re okay, a palm on your back to lead you away from the action of everything. thankfully, his mazda and the other two men are stationed at the corner, and the crowd’s attention slowly pulls away from you and onto the revving engines of the two competing cars.

“you okay?” geto looks down, shielding the bright car park lights and peeking a glance at where you were meant to go. it’s a quaint cafe in the basement of a building near shibuya square — a place which could be accessed by the parking lot, but it looks like you took an early turn and ended up in this one instead.

all you could muster up was a nod, mind going a hundred miles per hour just like those cars that were going to race; you’re more focused on his brown eyes that hold yours too well, though, dark and hypnotising that he has to repeat his question.

“yeah. for the most part, i guess. tha—” you mumble, but before you can bow and thank the man who’s already making a mark on your mind with his imposing stature, his friend chimes in.

“don’t mind aoi, he’s just intense like that.” you look past geto to see the white-haired racer who sports a bright grin, and to his side, a blonde, bored-looking guy who’s around the same age. “where you headed?”

geto waves a hand at them and cuts in as you answer, “i’ll take you. don’t mind those two idiots.” his sudden offer has your heart jumping just a bit; a mean brooding guy looking for a little cafe who’s holding a cinnamoroll event at the moment? what a sight to behold.

you’re all prepared to go when gojo tosses the keys to his mazda, and you’re thinking that maybe it really was further than expected but the man is soon leaning down to whisper into your ear.

“but before you go, want to watch me race?” geto grins, noticing that you’re at a loss for words again. you do that a lot, huh. it wouldn’t hurt to show off a little to get you absolutely speechless.

“i’ll treat you to whatever you want in that cute cafe, too.”

✶ NANAMI

ok the small drabble i wrote was sorta how they met but yes basically that!!!! nanami comes in at first (but you’re not doing much, just hanging around in the back), panicking cause he’s got an important race tmr (he just doesn’t gojo to win over whether he would have to borrow one of gojo’s dodge chargers) and hes like ? hes wondering what’s wrong with his dodge and when your dad mentions how he may need to order the parts his world falls apart fr 😭. and then he ends up borrowing it from gojo LMFAOOO. since you guys roughly know their meeting (nanami’s return to the shop after your father fixes the car and then eating you out wheeew) ill highlight life with nanami after that whole shebang!

you like to recall the first time you’ve met nanami, hardly a meeting, really, because you didn’t even see his face, but you hear his voice. a deep timbre with a seriousness to it that tells you that he could’ve fixed his own car if he tried and maybe just lacked the parts. however, you’re appalled when your father comes home later that night and tells you it was a dodge charger they were dealing with, a 1968 release that was no doubt passed down in his generation.

so when you’re peeking out of the supply room the second time nanami returns, you’re not surprised by his blonde hair, possibly a descendant of european blood, but had been born and raised in japan. it wasn’t uncommon, but it felt like he was such a specific ethnicity with the features he had. you’re right when you’re out with nanami a few weeks later, learning his grandfather was danish, smiling as he talked about his family.

it was by chance that he got into the racing scene, getting acquainted with gojo briefly because he was always infuriating in class — but then the both of them began to grow out of high school and entered university, introducing nanami to both geto, gojo’s best friend and to racing. it had made an impression on his heart immediately, reluctantly asking to ride in gojo’s car as they sped through the night and then trying his hand at it later.

“so geto-san was the one who taught you how to drift?” you ask from the passenger seat, a calm atmosphere surrounding the two of you as nanami takes you out for a casual drive along the freeway, bringing you to his favourite place to drift ever since he’s trained there. it was a clean ascent once he reaches the mountain, jogging over to open the door for you before sticking out a hand.

“thank you… kento,” you feel his hand tighten around yours, bringing you around to the front before leaning on the front of the car with you, the jangle of the bracelet he’s got you making noises when he pulls you into his side. it’s been a month with him, yet he already feels so committed, albeit stoic.

but you realise, in the midst of it, you’re the only one who can manage to pry a smile out of him, the lines on his face fading away when he picks you up from your dad’s shop. the loud engine is always an indicator, greeting him at the door of the garage as your father sends you off with a grin, leaning into the driver’s seat to press a peck through the window.

“when you say my name like that,” nanami mumbles, appreciating the scene with his lips in your hair; and while nanami is all soft and gentle with you, sometimes his carnal instincts get the best of him and he says the filthiest things, unprompted, “it makes me want to eat you out on the hood of my car again.”

you roll your eyes with a smile, because you’ve already done it twice: one in the shop and another in a secluded car park, but you know nanami hasn’t glutted his appetite for you yet, and he makes sure you know he never will.

✶ TOJI

the drabble previously mentioned how you were a little older megumi — through tutoring megumi, you met toji. it was a chance encounter sort of, u put up an ad at the end of your second year of uni since the winter break was a little longer than usual, so you decided to earn a bit of pocket money thru tutoring in the one subject you were most comfortable in: humanities. the syllabus in schools nowadays has become harder too, even going as far as to research papers and then scoff in disgust at the intensity of the questions lol … it’s routine in the school system to do that, gearing up for the questions you might be asked when u first get an enquiry call on the line. you hang up with a time and address and when u reach megumi opens the door, but toji emerges from his man cave (garage. hes obsessed w/ his corvette) later and jesus christ hes (almost) six foot of pure dilf that youre considering sidling up to him instead LMAO. esp with how the house looked, it wouldnt be so bad being a old man’s bitch

the doorbell you rang reverberates throughout the house, albeit a bit muffled, but the door opens quickly and you’re met with a black spiky-haired kid, who looks a few years younger than you. but megumi didn’t really need an introduction, because you’re pointing it out to him once inside.

“aren’t you the kid that got suspended for beating up gang members?” sometimes his seniors never knew when to shut up. to this, megumi just sighs.

“yep, that’s me. i told you my name over the phone but,” he extends a hand, “i’m fushiguro megumi.”

you hum and take his hand, introducing yourself as well before a thud makes you snap your head to the noise, where a larger and taller man emerges from the door that connects the living room to the garage. he has features similar to megumi’s and he’s currently clutching his toe, stubbing it on the cabinet on his way out and cursing his head off.

it isn’t difficult to match name to face for him as well, remembering a report you did on the increasingly popular racing scene starting up again. don’t ask — it was a pretty open assignment and you didn’t hesitate to write about the culture back then, something you always wished you lived in.

now, you’re not too taken aback by casually stumbling across fushiguro toji’s home, but more of how he managed to maintain his physique for so many years. if there’s anything your research told you, he was more on the lanky side in his twenties, the right side of his mouth clear from the scar while dominating the drifting scene back in the 80s.

“who’re you, kid?” a little annoyed at the name but you open your mouth to introduce yourself, and toji nods, although confused. it seems like he’s not too involved in megumi’s grades, because when you tell him megumi himself had called you over a bad grade in literature and social studies, his expression drops into an ‘o’. 

“ah, i would’ve taught him myself but…” you knew he dropped out of high school before, living a crap life trying to pay off debts his father had left him and turning to racing and winning bets to make a living out of it. it was scary how this information was so accessible to you via one of his interviews, but you can tell he’s put it long before him, choosing to focus on raising megumi and maintaining his corvette.

“make yourself at home, alright, doll?” doll. you stutter out an affirmative reply.

though when he said that, you hadn’t imagined wandering into the same door he had came out of before. he was probably checking on the condition of his car, knees protruding out of the corvette’s side as he rolls out on the creeper at the sound of someone approaching. you didn’t wish to do this, truly, but when some kids from megumi’s school had attempted to play a prank by picking toji’s lock to get back at megumi, the latter had discovered them after coming out the side door.

needless to say, megumi still holds up his reputation, chasing them down for more than three blocks (it was seven) before proceeding to, you assume, beat them up. you imagine it’s routine for toji at this point, but you still want to at least let him know.

“he’s off again?” toji sits up after hearing your explanation, using the wrench to scratch his temple. sure, he’s only like twenty years older than you — it certainly doesn’t stop you from checking out how his muscles bulge against his compression shirt, or the grey sweatpants he’d got on that you told yourself not to peep at. “don’t mind the kid, i’ll lecture him when he returns later.”

he sighs and grumbles under his breath, expecting you to leave, and when you don’t he just raises an eyebrow, a silent prompt for you to explain what else you needed. you only pointed to the hood. 

“uh… toji-san, if you’re keen on getting back into racing,” toji fully stands up to his height, curious on what you have to say, but also wondering how much balls you had to talk about racing in front of him, “you should really change your 283 cubic-inch V8 to a 327. i, uh, heard the specifications on the new engine has better fuel delivery and horsepower.”

toji relaxes when you actually know your crap, not wanting to deal with another annoying fan begging him to get back into racing, although you’re not entirely off the hook. “and why should i listen to you, hm, doll?”

he stands there, unimpressed, but you didn’t research cars like a madman for nothing. it was a rabbit hole you had commended yourself for diving into, too, because you always had wanted to start, just, how? and that changed when you finally had the opportunity to delve into the complicated world of cars with the help of your friend’s dad who was a mechanic. “um… you really don’t. just giving some pointers, or at least, recommendations that go well with your ’66 corvette.”

oh my god? you know the exact year his chevrolet was released too?

the ex-racer only nods slowly, keeping it in mind for the next time he has the time to switch to an updated engine, but he didn’t expect help to come from your hands the next time, working under the hood like a professional while still leaving the heavy lifting to him. you had fun each time in the garage, exchanging intel and geeking about cars while you both open up to each other — all under the guise of tutoring his son.

since then, toji has taken his corvette out to meet you more than he takes it out for errands, meeting you with a promise that he would take care of your university fees. but none of the time spent with you would’ve warned him that you two would be changing his next engine, too, except that maybe, you were finally his girl.

why does toji’s always end up the longest bye. also this is the only req i’ve gotten, i swear i don’t bite guys. ♡ thirsts and drabble requests are open!

What are your for what these characters were like in their youth? Lawrence, Strade, Mason,Celia, Derek

It is interesting to know your ideas

Some of this is based on canon stuff :)

Strade- In his ‘younger’ youth, like 7-10 maybe, Strade discovered a fascination with hurting people, or otherwise making them upset. He got many talking to’s from his parents after hitting someone/pushing them down on the playground (I wouldn’t be surprised if he bit people as a kid either..) and always got in trouble. He had fairly normal parents, there was no abuse at home. He was just born the way he is. His antics escalated to making people bleed, which caused other parents to get concerned too. When the scolding continued, he soon learned to only indulge himself in secret, leading his parents to believe he grew out of that phase. When he got a little older, I think he was a pretty nice guy. He knew what was socially acceptable by then, and was friendly and talkative. He canonically enjoyed high school, and I’m sure he had a lot of friends, but never really close ones, because he couldn’t share his true interests with them. That didn’t bother him though, I think he was pretty satisfied with his school life. I could see him joining a fight to ‘defend someone’ but it was really an excuse to cause some pain. Things were pretty good for him, generally. I don’t think he started kidnapping until his late 20’s early 30’s.

Lawrence- Lawrence never fit in with others. First his neighbors, then at school, then in public. He was outcasted in school for being the ‘weird kid’, since he was more fascinated with plants and dead things than other people. He also wasn’t good at talking to others, so making friends never worked out. This only worsened after he drowned as a child— and lived. His connection to the River only separated him further from his peers, who he was starting to learn didn’t know the truth like he did. His parents constantly pushed him to act normal, go out, be better. They forced him to go to therapy sessions in hopes he’d snap out of this; they were very consumed with appearances, and Lawrence was seen as a disappointment. This made him even more disconnected with his parents. His sisters, on the other hand, did support him. Laurel was probably the most sympathetic, as she had trouble connecting with people too. Lily did occasionally pick on him for being weird, but in the end he was their brother and they did love him. Because Law was so wrapped up in his head, with this idea that everyone hates him, he ended up distancing from them by assuming they felt the same as his parents. In high school, Lawrence started to get tired of the constant bullying. Instead of letting it go, he got in a lot of fights— and won most of them. That meant lots of parent conferences to meet about how their kid just broke some other kid’s nose. It was about then when they pulled Lawrence out of school for a few years to homeschool him. He did go back for the end of high school, but it didn’t last. He dropped out early, and ended up moving away soon after he turned 18.

Derek- Derek is a bad person, yes, and there’s no excuse for that— but I think a lot of it is to blame on his childhood. He was the eldest child, meaning he was the first. His mother stayed around the longest, compared to the others. Derek’s father was extremely abusive. He was beaten regularly, especially if he ever cried; I think eventually that led to him suppressing his emotions, or becoming defensive/reflecting the anger he received onto others instead of letting any ‘weak’ emotion show. I assume when he was little, he’d go to him mom for comfort. That is, until she discovered the bruises and confronted her husband about it. Soon after, when he sought her out for comfort, she wasn’t there anymore. His dad gave him no explanation. As his siblings came along, Derek fought to stay on top. Even though their father abused them all, in a way, Derek knew that he got it the worst, but he was the heir to a lot of money, and held onto the fact that maybe it’d be worth it someday. Celia- Celia has always had a little bit of a track set in her mind. She wanted to be successful. Obviously, business wasn’t her dream as a kid, but she wanted to be well off and fulfilled somehow. She always kind of felt that sacrifices must be made in order to do that. That didn’t mean sacrifices for her, necessarily. Maybe there was a competition at school? And oh, it seems the next best person happened to accidentally sprain their ankle at recess. Looks like they can’t compete, what a shame. That sort of thing. (It probably came about in middle school, mostly). She didn’t like boys at school, and only liked some of the girls. She always felt a bit superior to others, knowing inside that she’d become something far better than all of them. Of the friends she did have, she loved to gossip and talk bad about others. It made her feel on top. She did get pissed off easily by others’ stupidity, a quality she never quite grew out of.

Mason- Mason lived, peacefully at first, with his village far from other civilization. He was always in touch with nature, and learned survival/hunting skills from his parents early on. He found a love for hunting especially— which everyone prided him for. And well, the rest is what’s canon:

You were perfect. Well, not really obviously, but about as close as a person could get. And you had your dear parents to thank for that, of course. They raised you right. Kept you in line, made sure you didn't overindulge, stopped foolish phases from your younger years in their tracks. They even set you up with your current boyfriend, who you'll likely marry someday. He was... He was from a good family. One with decent money, like yours.

And your dear old parents also made sure you knew who to stay away from. The weirdos of the world. There were some real freaks out there, the kind that could cause serious harm. But that didn't mean you feared them. That would be stupid. Weird as they might be, aren't they people too...?

But of course, the worst one... "You know what they say, 476th times a charm!" A bouquet of roses blocked your vision, the soft petals unceremoniously pushed into your face. "Won't you be mine?"

Zeyuna. The biggest freak you've ever met. There were so many strange things about him... No way he was human! And for over a year now, not a day has passed where he hasn't asked you out. How desperate could he be?

"No. For the millionth time, no." You rolled your eyes, pushing away the flowers. "I'm already in a relationship."

"Yeah, and that dickwad doesn't deserve you." And such crude language. Had he no refinement? "How can you stay with that guy when he literally makes out with other bitches in front of you?"

"That's none of your concern! Leave me alone for goodness sake!" You stormed off, ending your daily little interaction the same way you always did. Seriously, what did he know! There were more important things than loyalty! Besides, even though your boyfriend was, well, exactly that, you weren't too fond of him either. It worked out well.

He just wouldn't understand! He's just some... Some hooligan! A hooligan that does anything he wants with no regard for others! Anything! Anything at all...

He watched you leave, his 12 dozen roses dropped to the floor as he sighed. This time too... Apparently his latest invention hadn't worked. He wasn't surprised, he didn't usually dabble in drugs. He was much more in to machinery. But he figured it was a more "intelligent" approach. One you might appreciate. But clearly, the damn thing didn't sway your heart. Or maybe he just didn't have enough...

But what else could he do? He knew he was strange. He always has been. His whole life, a lot of people were scared of him due to his innate strength. It was some weird genetics in his family, he never cared too much to think about it. But you weren't... You even seemed like you were certain you were above him. He loved it... You were so cute like that.

Maybe if he gets rid of that shithead once and for all... It would be so easy...

No no, he shouldn't think like that! He didn't want to prove people right about him. Especially not you... But it would be so good for you! To finally be free from that guy! He didn't know why you would stay with someone like that. Sure he didn't have much money and el fucko did, but what should that matter? He would be super rich someday, he knew it. But what would the point be without you?

You were everything.

Oh, hell. Was murder so bad if the victim was worthless? If it was for good reason? The only problem was getting caught... Something he would work around, surely.

Of course, every day after that, like every day before, he would ask for your heart at least once. He was just so... Ridiculous. Just because he buys you flowers and invents little trinkets just for you, just to make you smile if nothing else, doesn't mean he could win your heart! Not that, not his smile, his confidence, his positivity, his... Oh damn it! It didn't matter what good traits he had! Everyone... No one would approve of you being with him.

But the longer this went on, you began to wonder. Was it worth it to live like this? To let your life be dictated by what other people think? What was the worst that could happen anyway? What, they would look down on you the same way they look down on him? It... Wouldn't be nice. How does he stay so positive through all that? It makes no sense!

But... Your curiosity got the better of you one day. "Zeyuna!" You made a bee line for him. He was sure with that look on your face he was in for a lecture. But he didn't mind. It was always nice to hear your voice, even if you were reprimanding him for doing something stupid. "Zeyuna, you...! You... Are you free on Saturday?"

......... What.

"I want to go to dinner with you. If my many rejections still haven't deterred you, that is. Consider it a date."

Holy. Shit.

What.

He was frozen. What was he supposed to do now? Cry? You, his greatest dream, the one who'd rejected him so many times, actually asked him out? Was this an elaborate prank?! A date?! Had a he died and gone to heaven? Or maybe he was dreaming?

And you looked so cute. He hasn't seen you blushing before. He'd never forget this sight.

"Oh wow... YES!" He finally pulled himself together, picking you up in a tight hug and spinning you around. This couldn't be real! He didn't care how many people stared. You were his now! "I promise, swear on my old man's grave, this will be the greatest date you've ever been on!"

He'd do anything to make it so. And this worked out especially great for him! Gave him the perfect alibi for a certain little robot he's been working on to get rid of a certain piece of trash...

Gonna stop there before I go forever. Maybe not the most intense yandere I've ever written, but I'm sure it's alright.

Anyways, as for my little hiatus and some other ramble stuff... The truth is, I lost motivation. I graduated, and the best motivation I had for writing always seemed to come when I was avoiding work and stuff lol. And then I had nothing to avoid so I kind of rotted a bit. I never have too much motivation, and when I do, it's for really specific things. I have kind of a lot of hobbies. Plus I got a job, two technically but one was like seasonal. Go me making money, yay!

I can't promise I'm back. I'm wishy-washy like that if I'm being honest. But, I made this account to practice my writing and hopefully get feedback on my work since I actually want to become a legitimate author someday. And I figure if I'm going to have to enter the adult world, I might as well try to keep up with that. Maybe getting back into writing here will help my motivation to work on my longer books. I recently came up with a super good idea for a new one, I'm just struggling with starting it.

So anyways... That's about it I think. I've missed this, so hopefully I can stick to it this time. But like I said, no promises. Also, at this point, I'm thinking I probably won't get to my old requests. I feel too ashamed, and I'm sorry for that. And I don't know if I'll be taking any new requests any time soon. Because, you know, motivation is bad.

Also, I hope you all enjoyed this little intro to one of my ocs. He's part of this whole oc web I have going on, and is actually the parent of one of my main ocs. Technically his darling would be another oc of mine, my main ocs mother, but I wanted more people to be able to enjoy it, so I made it for a gn reader. hopefully that doesn't bite me in the butt if I continue writing for him, he'll date anybody if he likes them, male female or otherwise, but not everybody can have babies which ends up a kind of important thing.

A/N: a little bit of jjba hc's since I haven't written it in a while, and I finally have time to write as much as I usually do since my exams are over.

Jonathan Joestar:

☆He definitely prefers to bathe before he sleeps and would love if you joined in.

☆He loves big spooning you, just knowing you're there and being able to protect puts him at ease

☆A light sleeper, but I feel like he'd be extremely confused the first few minutes after he wakes up.

☆I don't feel like he'd have a tight grip on you when he first falls asleep, but later in the night, his grip on you gets firmer.

☆Snores, I can definitely feel that going for him. It's not too much that it's disturbing to your sleep, but just enough for you to hear when he's sleep, particularly deep.

☆You two always wake up with you on his chest and in his arms.

☆He definitely gives you good morning and goodnight kisses.

☆But I definitely think he is the best sleeper on this list. 10/10 would recommend 👌.

Speedwagon:

☆Showers in the mornings unless he's really dirty.

☆Loves being held by you, especially laying on your chest.

☆Has frequent nightmares, in my opinion, nothing too bad just really weird nightmares.

☆Sleeps like a rock. Once he's gone, he's gone.

☆I hope you're a deep sleeper cause this man snores so loudly it's unbelievable.

☆I feel like the reason he sleeps as heavy as he does is cause he struggles to sleep.

☆But one way that he will definitely fall asleep is if you play with his hair in any way, he just immediately passes out.

☆He isn't a blanket hog he is the opposite he pushes all the blankets on to you.

☆He will not wake up the same way he fell asleep. He'd fall asleep on your chest and wake up at the bottom of the bed.

☆As much as I love this man depending on the night, he is the worst sleeper, so a solid 7.5. But he's not as bad as the next person on this list.

Dio Brando:

☆And finally, we have this bastard.

☆He has the most elaborate routine before he sleeps, hair care, skin care, whatever there is he does.

☆So greedy with the blankets, he'll take them if it's cold and gives them to you if it's hot.

☆He definitely kicks and pushes you in his sleep.

☆Takes all the nice pillows.

☆You have to wrestle him for space on the bed, or he'll take like 90% of it.

☆But since you are his partner and he would have to see you higher than other people to even consider dating you, he will once in a while hold you.

☆Just make sure to take a piss before you sleep. Cause he is a light sleeper.

☆If you move around too much, he will not hesitate to push you away from him. He's not going to let you disturb his beauty sleep.

☆Overall, 2/10 would have given him zero if it weren't for the fact that he sometimes graces you with the pleasure of being held by him.
