This is gonna sound like a weird-ass thing to say, but... Buckshot Roulette almost feels like a breath of fresh air. After an era of games that have so much hidden content you have to practically deatomize them to find it all, I like that this game is just what it is at face value. Yes, it's dark, it's a little edgy, it's violent, and therefore it makes one think there might be a hidden backstory or some ARG shit or whatever, but as far as I know there isn't. It's just about a weird, probably inhuman dude, who wants to play Russian Roulette in a dingy-ass club... and then you win and keep the money they offer you. If anything, that's a bit uncharacteristically honest for a character like this in a setting like that, but I love it.

I love the grungy-ass vibes and bumpin'-ass music, I love that it's only like 20-30 minutes, and I love that the people I've watched play it look like they're having a fun time. Wonderfully engaging game, highly recommend 👌

Love the thought of Leo just casually being well traveled to absurd degrees. Like one day they’re facing their new Big Bad of the year and like, Draxum or whoever says that the key to their fight is located somewhere in, like, Latvia or some place, but no one knows where to start.

Then Leo’s like “oh I know a place” and when asked how the heck he could know of one it smash cuts to Leo falling through the ceiling of said place due to a portal mishap.

Also love the idea of Leo, being as accidentally (and then later, purposefully) well traveled as he is, sometimes taking his family on outings to different places all over, maybe to some new Yokai spots he found along the way.

In these places, Leo 100% lets his bros get scammed by tourist traps.

So, Danny is definitely not running from a cop right now. 

He’s also not been de-aged to like, eight years old or something and is running from said cop after hitting him in the kneecaps after he got caught maybe stealing a tire. Jazz- currently like twelve- would be so disappointed if that was the case after all, ha… 

Oh Ancients both Jordan and Ellie (currently turned mini like he was) will laugh at him if he got caught and needed to be bailed out! He just needed a couple of tires to sell dangit! And no one would care if he stole a cop’s tires, this place’s police were all corrupt anyway if word on the street was to go by!
