Apparently, according to some source (I think it's Plutarch?), Patroclus had a sister called Myrto. It's the only source that says that as far as I'm aware, so idrk. But it's,, cool. Fun.

This would make a good idea for a good omens au! (Ok to be fair, as I'm completely obsessed with it, everything makes a great good omens au but still)

Not so much as in accidental way but:

Human Crowley having some big financial problems, following something he did (probably embezzlement) and that cost him his entire business and gave him a lot of debts.

One day, he gets drunk, and consider that one way to get some money would be to open a church somewhere. (He is not so much of a good person at the beginning here)

But for it to work, the church needs followers.

So, he creates and idea of a god/messiah that could represent his church.

Of course, the God has strict rules, so Crowley's followers will give him money and respect him. But They also have to be clever, and smart, and to have some kind of respect for free will because that's one of the things Crowley values. And They have to be a protector, because people need a reason to believe in them, and people need to feel safe.

So, the next day, when still drunk, Crowley starts talking about his God to some random people. And after some time, manages to convice a few of them, so his goes on with this random idea because why not?

Except that for some reason, the universe heard him, and he found himself confronted to the God he imagined, in the being that Aziraphale is. And he has to cope with it. And with Aziraphale spending most of his time scolding him for everything he did, and for trying to corrupt people.

But in the meantime, Crowley starts interacting more with his followers (that include Warlock and the Them/some of the them) and starts feeling awful about everything, because stealing from large companies and banks is a thing but taking money from young adults that are struggling with their like is a completely different one, especially when that includes lies and manipulation.

And of course, Aziraphale and Crowley slowly build a relationship together, Aziraphale discovering his personal identity, and Crowley getting a bit more of a good person (and no, absolutely not kind, no matter what Aziraphale can say, of course).

You accidentally started a cult, and now your made up deity is living with you.

Thinking about that one time, a few years ago, someone suggested a Berseria/Fate Stay Night fic idea to me where Velvet gets dragged through time and space out of her slumber to be summoned as a Servant by the Matou family, only for her to take one look at Sakura, see the state she's in, puts two and two together, and promptly butchers the fuck out of Zouken, before getting Sakura out of the house and into hiding from the other Servants.

That's as far as I've thought (and I can't remember if I put Shinji on the chopping block too asdljasdf). It's been a long time since I've seen the F/SN anime and don't really follow the series in general, but I think about this idea now and again. I think Sakura could use an older sister-type figure in her life to build herself back up, reclaim her dignity, and kick ass.

i am unironically obsessed with adam west batman not only trying to be a good dad to robin, but actually succeeding. also love robin's insane energy levels and his ability to go from seething bloodlust to manic glee in record time. i think any superman worth his S would fit right into the family ^_^

its no question that something like this could be triggering or upsetting to a number of queer ppl given the current sociopolitical climate, so i want everyone to remember that u are loved! You know, it's kinda funny how much of high fantasy centers around kings and nobility and courtly intrigue considering that the archetypal high fantasy, Lord of the Rings, had the rather explicit moral of "saving the world is up to this backwater hick and his gardener because no politician, least of all inherited nobility, would have the ability to see past their own ambition and throw away a weapon". Oh sure, Aragorn is a great king and all, but there's a reason he's over there running a distraction ring while the hobbits do the real work. Sauron loses because he gets distracted by kings and armies and great battles (i.e. typical high fantasy stuff) letting Frodo and Sam sneak through his back door and blow it all to hell.

Just saying, maybe old Jirt knew what he was saying when he said that the small folk doing their best and holding to each other was more powerful than a dozen alliances and superweapons and we should respect him for it.
