Very specific and random ass things ive noticed abt The Handler that I find very epicly epic

-The concave of her maxilla, and the baggy droopiness of her eyes looks just like that of her atrociraptors, and their skull shapes, which I LOVEEEE

-(This one which was a quote from Scott himself) Her freckles are supposed to represent reptilian scales.

-Her looks resemble that of medieval-European beauty standards. (a high forehead was the SHIT back then, when women would also pluck their eyebrows to enhance it.)

-In the show, she seems to look “out of place.” Like she doesn’t belong there, which is because out of all the human characters, she’s the most hyper-realistic which adds to the uncanny vibes we get from her. Like the way we can see the little details and blemishes in her skin, the cracks in her lips, the little chips of her teeth, the redness of her eyes, the facial muscles that contort and stretch so naturally with each movement, she looks TOO REAL to be in a show like Chaos Theory.

-If you look closely at her brows, they are always narrowed, she always has one fixed expression with them, which only changes when she feels stronger emotions, like the ones which we did see her showcase: anger, frustration, excitement?? (realizing the n5 were in the warehouse with her, she did look pretty joyous from finding them and making her job much more easier.) and guilt.

-She blinks very hard and slow…like a reptile, and on the topic of blinking she actually blinks A LOT considering the little screen time she has. (so when someone says “omg she doesnt blink..” theyre lying, she does 💀 shes a human guys even HER eyes get dry sometimes 😞😞)

-The way she slowly turns her head, her pupils almost unmoving is like that of an owl.

-Her perfect posture which never faults unless injured or forced to. Ough its so creepy…

-She’s actually PRETTY TALL. Comparing her to the atrociraptors height (2 metres, 6.6ft when standing tall) shes like around a foot and a half shorter. She could be around Ben’s height, or like an inch or two shorter. (Also compared to Jensen, she’s like 6 or 5 inches taller 💀)

-Her undercut. I love it. I don’t know, it just brings me such joy seeing her silly undercut like HEHEHEHHE I wanna touch her hair it looks so silky and soft but ik damn well that ho 100% uses sum like 12 in 1 soap or sum cheap dollarstore soap since shes always on the go 🙁

-The aura she radiates the second she walks into a room, she’s able to silence the big carnivorous dinosaurs. SHE SILENCED A CARNOTAURUS AND IT LIKE, DROPPED ITS HEAD. Its like death itself looms around her. Wherever she goes, death and destruction follow, and the other dinos can sense it.

-She SWINGS her arms a lot when she walks, not like a little sway like she’s swinging them hoes. Idk if im just crazy but her arms seem to be a sorta big focus? Like the amount of camera zooms on her arms and hands, the way she sways them when she walks, them being the only part of her skin showing other than her collarbone, being knocked unconscious, thats the only other thing visible, her left arm being injured after getting run over. A R M S. (Now that I think abt it, her left arm being injured after getting hit, BROOKLYNN’S LEFT ARM BEING INJURED…was that supposed to be a foreshadow for Brooklynn having a missing arm…)

-Idk how literally no one pointed this out but at the s1 finale, after the showdown, and when she realizes that her raptors are too hurt to continue fighting, a few seconds after she hugs Ghost, when Ghost walks away, The Handler makes this little “hmph 😞” sound AND ITS SO GRGRGGRGRGRGR LIKE SHE SOUNDS SO DISAPPOINTED AND SAD AND GUILTY BUT ALSO RELIEVED AT THE SAME TIME CUZ HER RAPTORS ARE OKAYISH URGGHHHHH 🙁🙁🙁🙁

-When Tiger and Panthera call out to her when they’re injured 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

-The way she walks into frame, and stares at Brooklynn before blowing the whistle…its like, WHY? Why did she do that for Brooklynn and not the others?? To pop out and make herself known; did she want herself to be the last thing Brooklynn sees? Was she sure she was gonna die? Does she only pop out when she’s like 90% sure her victims will die? Does THAT mean she sometimes has doubts about if the job will go well or not? Is she secretly full of self-doubt? I mean, she is a very calculated person. Scanning perimeters before acting, cutting down the alarm system at Darius’s cabin, killing off any and all witnesses, it would be strange for her to not have some sort of doubt or paranoia that the job won’t go well. Jensen did said she was “being paranoid” when he was in Ronnie’s house.

-So if I were to carve out a specific personality for her based on that alone, she could be a perfectionist, assertive yet a bit doubtful, paranoid, resilient, relentless, carefully-calculated person.

For a character who only appeared in 3 (4 technically if you count the end of Down on the Ranch) episodes out of 20, she’s a VERY interesting individual, and its clear the writers/artists for her character had to think very creatively and critically about her to make her so impactful to the series for such a mysterious character.

Luke Castellan, who wakes up in the hospital in clean coolness and sterile softness and remembers absolutely nothing. He's like a baby. His first thought is, "Are they okay?".

He does not know who they are, the thought quickly disappears like a light night fog under the rays of the sun, he will not remember that in that short minute these "they" were someone adored and those whom he wanted to protect at all costs.

Luke Castellan, who is slowly but very safely recovering in the hospital - reads books in his room, rests on his bed, sometimes goes to the children's department and babysits babies, flirts with nurses for sweets.

He already knows the necessary things about himself, his name, his identity, his age, where he is, what happened to him. Personal second-hand information, severe amnesia as a result of a head injury. The cute blue-eyed nurse practically takes him under her wing.

Luke Castellan, who leaves the hospital and begins an absolutely ordinary life: he does not want to live on the savings of his deceased mother, although he is fiercely recommended to rest for at least a few months, he goes to a simple part-time job at a local coffee shop, wakes up in the morning with an alarm clock, goes to work, communicates with colleagues, he has friends and spends time with them on weekends.

He ignores the stupid and delusional fear when he collapses on the couch in front of the TV in the evenings with a bowl of chips. It's just a TV. Why is he afraid that he will be persecuted if he watches it?

Luke Castellan, who notices strange children who turn out to be with him anywhere - a black-haired girl of Japanese origin who came to a coffee shop and bought only a cake with which she sat for two hours trying to watch him unnoticeably, blonde-haired girl with eyes as gray as a thunderstorm, who followed him around the dairy department of the supermarket.

They always look strangely bored and broken with moistly shining eyes, Luke wonders does he remind them of someone? Most likely, yes, he makes it his habit to always take with him a small bag of delicious homemade food for them.

Luke Castellan, who is packing his things for the move and carefully packing the photos, for some reason thinks that there are too few of them, that someone is missing, he quickly drives away this thought.

He wonders why little blonde girls evoke such affectionate awe in him, and black-haired teenage girls make him experience a pinching pain in his chest.

Luke Castellan, who gets on the plane and is comfortably ensconced in his chair, looks out the window and for some reason quietly whispers "Goodbye" to himself. This is an intuitive desire that came from the very depths of it.

All Octarians have tails! They’re all naturally born with tails, but most octarians sever them since it’s more efficient, the method of chipping off the tails will leave various nubs or scars on the back.

Valentine, Samah, Marina, and Satua (all domes Octarians) have the little cropped nub tails.

But a few domes octarians (mostly ones who are older, not all,) probably have a completely shaved off tail, leaving a small welt on the back, as opposed to the gentler slice method. Those with shaved off tails don’t have nubs at all; but are often done improperly leaving to injuries later in life, this gamble led to the cropped slice method being more common. Shima “aka Snap”, the idol in Emergency Exit, has this type of tail, ie, she doesn’t have one.

Octarian tails are a result of baby Octarians being a mess of tentacles upon hatching, and since once they’re born they’re not directly in “swim forms” or “kid form,” they are more so a mess of the series of instructions that tell it how to form parts, so as hatchlings, they tend to form various tentacles, they don’t have a ‘limit’ on tentacles in their biological blueprint, so their body tests and figures stuff out by making tails to adjust itself to transformation. Most hatchlings are born without a tail and grow one a week into development. Cutting off the tail will prevent more tails from growing if done properly, and this will not affect the growth of done at the proper age, (usually, about a year in is the perfect time) most new borns wind up dropping their tails and growing in new ones anyway— it’s important to let them keep the tails for about a year because issues with the tails CAN be a sign of a potential issue related to transforming.

Cutting off the tails at an early age (at the proper time) will encourage the tails not to grow, you may need to cut them again if they grow again, but usually can be done on the first attempt. This will ditch the transformation “blueprint” that’s designed for the tail.

Octarians, namely, Octolings created in labs through severed tentacles, will have very thick and dense tentacles, usually when these are cut they grow to be stubby and messily serrated and torn up as they grow differently from Natural Octolings. Tentacle Octolings usually will always grow tentacles, even if you don’t sever them.

Octarians who DO grow out their tails and never have them lopped off may have varying lengths / styles / and number of tails, this variety occurs all naturally. Those who keep their tails may have better dexterity and control of their tails + tentacles, but they’re not great in a combat setting, hence the purpose of cutting them. oh my god niklaus, how could i forget about my babygirl. i mean, what can i say i love this guy. i dont know how many times ive relistened to his intro song, but definitely more than i should've... um. there was a lot of big important lore that i don't have the brain capacity to process rn.... i want to say that niki is the nameless prince and/or the thing trapped in the hole in the sea. because he can only interact with one person at a time by inviting them to his pocket dimension (even with jay it was said that the time around her stopped while she was talking with niklaus), implying that niki is trapped somewhere and this is the only constricted way he can interact with the world. and to answer chip's questions he said he wants freedom more than anything, again implying that right now he doesn't have this freedom. which makes sense, right? but then, the big bad thing was supposedly trapped thousands of years ago (i think?), but niklaus was a world famous pirate lord not so long ago and not trapped anywhere, so.....? idk im probably missing something. can't for the life of me find the moment where they read the nameless prince book so like, whatever.

that moment where jay talked to chip about how she thinks its all her fault and she should've just gave up her arm and leg. and how chip reassures her....... them 🥺🤲 kind of inspired by that post abt chip and jay i reblogged earlier, but these two talking about their emotions and feelings is so dear to me. just, being human with each other and opening up. gill is great ofc, but i feel like for these two its much easier to talk to each other to feel understood and heard. i love them.....

i think a silly thing about them is that he is a traitor is very throwable. like ae just kinda rag dolls, wiwi style, but in a much more agile way. during the paramount championship, he and john actually attacked via john straight up throwing them and him using that momentum for an attack.

the ferin family’s known for their iconic orange hair. jayson ferin has very straight, vibrant hair. mae ferin, who married into the family, has brown hair, but it’s very curly.

so, building off this hc, i like to think ava ferin had the same fiery hair as her father, and that it was also straight. jay still has the iconic hair color of the ferins, but her hair is very curly, representing the remaining love she still has for her family/legacy, but also showing how she does not exactly fit the mold of the ferin name.

i think jay has a lot of pent up anger she doesn’t let go of, and so oftentimes there’s nowhere else for it to go but inward. of course, she’s found healthier ways of managing it but it’s still there. i think she’s always been angry at herself, most of all. i think grief manifests in anger for her,, like anger is the strongest stage of grief she goes through (where for chip it’s bargaining and for gillion it’s denial)

-gill’s hair is veeeeery long. i hc that in the undersea, one only cuts their hair as a sign of failure/after they have lost a battle. he nearly cut it after ep 53 but jay convinced him not to. he’s stopped cutting it since then

worst thing that happened to them:

-chip: i mean you could obviously go straight ahead and say it was the events of the hole in the sea/sinking of the black rose, but honestly i think it was the aftermath. i think it was about having grown up as nothing, then finding stability for only a couple years just to be tossed back into a turbulent life of bared teeth and stealing and violence. i think that his relationship with price is a really good instrument for showing that.

-jay: similar thing here— i don’t think it was just the fact that ava died that hurt her, but the fact that nobody seemed to fucking care, not in any way that mattered. of course they all grieved ava, but her father was never around for jay when she needed him most. i think it was growing up without ava and with a shattered family that hurt her the most.

-gill: changing tempo here. i think that when he was banished (one of if not the worst thing to happen to him) his hair was cut very short— like up to his ears. the first time chip and jay ever saw him was with such short hair, and he probably felt somewhat ashamed being seen like that.

Here's an interesting idea:

SMG4 Shattered Timelines: Reflected Generations A Mira-centric side story happening parallel to the Shattered Timelines AU's main plot that's heavily based on Shadow Generations. It wouldn't actually interact with the main plot in any way, so no need to factor it into events (unless any of the characters mentioned was going to be part of said events, in which case I can probably shuffle some things around. or scrap it if said involved characters include mira and/or worm)

Basically, thanks to the Abyss's time breaking bullshit several major events are in a state of flux, including both Worm's death in the Legacy Arc and his defeat at the hands of the First Four. He's fully aware of what's going on and capable of manipulating the fractures to a degree, and decides to use this as an opportunity to come back more powerful than he was even at his prime. Problem is, he needs someone with a significant amount of his code who isn't in temporal flux to act as a vessel, since otherwise his soul won't have any code to attach to when reality reasserts itself. And rather poetically, only a certain supersonic traitor fits the bill. He just needs to give her a push in the right direction using the other half of her code...

So Mira's now being forced to confront both sides of her origin story while running through areas from all over the AU timeline and beyond to restore them. And in the process she ends up meeting the time-displaced Chip (Sonic Unleashed Chip, not Admin Chip), Glitch and Red Doomguy, and getting assistance from Amy, Eggman and Larryboy.

Her version of the Radical Highway hijacking sections are Eggmanland from Sonic Unleashed (It probably should've been Apotos but an idyllic Greek seaside village with rolling green hills and windmills don't exactly fit the Vibe like a rusted, smog-choked cross between a factory, an amusement park and a medieval torture dungeon does), the two acts of each area are Day and Night stages Because Werehog Good, and she's collecting the Chaos Emeralds as well as new Malware Commands that let her actually tap into her virus side.

It's also a bit longer than Shadow Generations, with 5 bosses besides Worm; Rejection Waluigi, Cat Cursor (the alt timeline evil version in post-reveal form), Spicy Meme Generator 4000 (he's also aware of the timeline thing but doesn't get a chance to do anything with it), Showtime (her mind is actually from the present and she is EXTREMELY happy to not be a Prinny...and then she gets defeated and is transformed back into her Prinny form because of course), and a very different version of Mira from a completely separate universe (you know that one Danny Phantom RP that I sometimes mention certain ocs originated from? yeah Mira's from there too. She was completely different though, had nothing to do with Sonic and was instead a crazy evil AI accidentally created by MERF (from Fairly Oddparents) who was going to Frankenstein herself a cyborg body out of alien tech and freeze-dried Pixie organs and become a really fucked up Magical Girl).

Also, Worm's realized that by holing himself up in Eggmanland he has access to all the Dark Gaia energy it's mining, so that's gonna be a problem.

Ough!!! Nothing to say tbh, I love this a lot. And it doesn't interfere with anything so it's all good!!

The Drifter shrugs, pouring a dark rich brew into a small cup.

"You know how she is. So very worried."

"That strikes me as true."

Eris makes a step, then another, until she reaches the table. She has underestimated just how much the ritual has drained her. It took everything, from the deepest roots of vengeance to the darkest corners, which have been tempted with the gifts of godhood and clarity. How they hooked on her fingers, pulled at her, tore her apart as she made her choices.

She still feels the scrape of chitin as she slit Savathun's throat, her laughter vibrating the bones of her Hive arms.

"Hey," the Drifter's voice, so impossibly gentle, reaches to her through the veneer of most recent memories. His fingers are against her, placing a cup of tea in her hands. "You alright?"

"As one expects me to be."

"I don't have expectations, Moondust. I am way past that."

She smiles. That is one of the many things she likes about him. She can simply... be. Herself. Without judgement or expectations.

Eris brings the tea cup to her lips, tasting the drink, allowing it to warm her mouth and burn the tip of her tongue. It's comforting, the familiar taste embracing her.

Her eyes find the Drifter again. Yes, she thinks. In the sea of turmoil, after taking shape of something else, this is what she needs. Silence, some tea, and the Drifter beside her, like an anchor to the promise of something she may finally allow herself to have.
