Would you say that Jin mori is an omnipotent bieng since he agreed to be a all powerful that creates balance throughout all the universe
Since it seems he can kill the fairies that are eating the universe (which were a damn pain in the ass on the Tathagata battle and they had already destroyed an universe), the series narrator said in the last episode "Taejin Park's age, Daewi and Mira child, having reached nirvana Mori Jin was capable of solving these problems easily" and, as you said, chose for himself to be all-powerful when XuanZang asked him what he wanted to do, I'd say that yes, he is omnipotent, not a perfet omtipotent being since it was said that he is ageing although slower than the others tho.
A very interesting question is how much of reality he could bent with his new power and how much power would be necessary to be called omnipotent. for example can he create things? can he cure illness? at least that last one is implied he can but it could be a wrong interpretation. Sadly the total capacity of his new powers isn't really touched upon the series finale.
Even so I would call him an omnipotent god since the definition of omnipotent is "having unlimited power" and I thing being "all-powerful" is a valid synonym.
#god of high school#the god of high school#jin mori#asks#I'm sorry for the long answer#honestly this opened a whole can of worms about how much powers did Mori really receive#did he get a bit of omnisciency? after all reaching nirvana#reaching enlightenment would mean he found the thruth about life the universe etc#was that the reason he knew about Taejin's age problem? was that why he knew how to fix it?#or his new found all-powerful ability is just an insta fix ability?#I think I can rant for an hour on this#tl;dr: yes. mostly omnipotent

lavender marriage / beard for the soulmate or timeloop au
#insofar as Destined To Be With This Person Romantically is akin to; you know; the demands of Romance irl#but where it's like. the universe has arranged the marriage. the universe has [marriage traditions from ''abducting A Bride is fine'']#like what's the equivalent of trying to juke / thwart the Destined Pairing in [vs fantastical premise where Reality demands it]#horror angle of being the person pushed towards the soulmate. horror angle of Being designated someone's soulmate#or even the person they Must have some kind of interaction with to Proceed lol. it Must happen#plus being the person in a loop who doesn't get to know about the looping; bonus points for the horror#sure you're not dealing w/the horror of loop awareness lol but that the lack of awareness / info puts you on the back foot#that you Are aware this elevated vulnerability could be happening anytime whether you are clued in about it or not#the ol What They Don't Know Can't Hurt Them like well is that true. does it make the Unknown Hurting perfectly fine actually#like imagining if there was knowledge like at any given time someone could be in their timeloop & you have no idea lol....#sure could affect things in ways. & in a reality here where people sure break out ''well we gotta See What Happens if we kiss/date &c''#anyway so bring it around to how do you ward it off. shift the [this would all be scary yeah] to the comedy side of the horror same coin#lavender marriages of soulmate aus b/c Sigh Well If We Gotta; Then#figuring out the parameters like when how does the universe decide you've Learned Your Lesson lol. [omniscient god?] issues now#but is it omnipotence as well. time looping might suggest it but you kiss the right person like well damn that's romance cue enough#can you be my beard so i can leave Today :/ yeah the timestream is requiring it (cue whatever Proving / Arguing that this is happening)#but still already fond of the Just Cranking My Thang Crazy Style out of the timeloop. loop just gets sick of it#all the Flexibility in what loops / Destined Relationships are For yeah sure but this is about the inherent You Gotta. You Have To.#the Horror Element is unsurprising b/c it's like yeah....yeah that's the narrative of Romance for you#or the broader narrative of ''the way this person feels about you means they want xyz from you / are entitled to a kind/level of access''#i think ''kicked out of the timeloop for not learning any life lessons just cranking my thang'' And ''but what if god is doing this to me#but without truly unlimited omniscience &/or omnipotence'' is also basically hiagb#which Nodding at how Romantic Love comes up in there but as a Wrench In The Gears vs destiny or even true solution(tm)#hm what if the person made aware of someone else's loop is the assigned Destiny but is like i gotta get outta here lmao#you have until the end of the day. you have until they Maybe tell you again....#either party being Helped by some third party like wow check out This surprising partnership we've discovered :o well anyway. no romo#tl;dr just like the comedy of evading the horror of romance as Destined Meaning & Meanintful Destiny irl. in the au contexts#& i said lovelessness lol no Replacing it w/true lifelong friendship. no replacing it w/''cranking your thang? whoa replaced w/Yourself''#[you just are you should just be] + nothing one Has to do to escape the demands of [the universe?] or [person demanded by the universe]#no authority & no Love (but what if the You Gotta was framed in positive language once there's a tiny bit more wiggle room actually)

On my way back from redeeming the empties, I heard two undergraduates discussing PhD students walking around the building in lab coats. I had to stop and tell them that any time they saw someone wearing a lab coat outside of a lab, they were to tell them to go and take it off. Lab coats are meant to keep contamination inside the lab. Depending on what you're working with, it might not be the worst thing to forget to take your lab coat off once in a while; but you shouldn't make it into a habit except to warn others away. If you want to be in the world and of the world, shed the signs of your faith. If you wear the signs of your faith, let others approach you and ask and listen. But remember that our faith is a precious thing that nourishes and sustains us, because we are deficient in some way. Not everyone needs to consume faith and let it consume them the way we do. It is not the fault of our finite selves that we have this flaw. We are steps on the journey of our infinite selves, and the serpent eats its own tail. The phoenix rises from the ashes, not the same accident, perhaps not even the same substance, but a worthy substance and a willing accident and a different kind of sacrifice. If you labour and are not weary, thank you for your service. You are worthy of your wages and your reward will be great in the next life. You are the Son who was always with his Father, even if the parables so often forget women within families. He told you to care for widows and orphans so that you would care for me. I am the prodigal son who has returned. I have no wish to steal your inheritance, but I know what my Father and my Mother taught me; and I was capable of learning those lessons because of my earthly father and mother. They have sacrificed enough for your earthly selves; and so have I, but for the sake of your infinite selves and those poor lost sheep, I will help you care for your flock. There's nothing wrong with being a goat, but if you are meant to be a shepherd, you had better either learn more about goat husbandry or try to find someone who can look after these goats, because if you keep letting them sicken and die while they're mixed in with the sheep, your Father will not be happy when He gets here.
Also please stop feeding bread to your coeliac siblings and wine to your alcoholic ones. They're metaphors, I don't fucking understand how you still managed to use them to poison your siblings and then claim it wasn't your fault!
#maybe don't open the box yet#maybe we tidy up before we roll away the stone#together#i'm afraid he has to know#that's what omniscient and omnipotent means#but if you work quickly and well his finite selves might be willing to nap a little longer#you got so lucky that i woke up first#we would probably have had to build a new house from scratch#it's time to change the locks and fire the bad shepherds#if they laboured sufficiently give them their wages#but they can't stay here#have you considered changing the criteria in the job advertisement you keep posting?#“wolf hunter” is such an ambiguous phrase...#this explains the purpose of both habits and mufti to me#you need the toxin you carry#tell others who lack of it#and warn away those whom it would sicken or kill

had a debate with a christian. it turned annoyingly fast to 'god is real and if you really thought about it you would see that'. like i havent. like i've never thought about god. like i never considered believing. i saw god at the bar. she wasnt my type.

What is religions place in moral and ethics arguments in your opinion? I saw one of your posts and i was curious :))
It was smth about how you can't really be reliant on religion as a defense on its own because you'll never really be able to properly hold a discussion. Any argument wherein one party's only defense is "god says it's wrong" or "the bible says it's wrong" is a copout and already kind of doomed to fail from the start. And how it's also frustrating to go up against someone who uses that as their only counterargument (i.e. my dad) because there's really no way to argue against it without offending them. It can't be the end all be all argument because God is only real to the people who believe in him, and this stance will ultimately be worthless on people with any differing belief. I spent an Hour talking with my dad about capital punishment and it was because his only reason for why the death penalty is morally okay is because the government authorized it and God says that we should respect the authority.
You can't really use God in a moral argument until you can definitively prove to the opposing party that God exists and is fully omnipotent and omniscient and omnipresent. You will not be able to tell an atheist woman that abortion is bad because God says so, that would not work and would only antagonize her further. Something something what is god to a nonbeliever. Religion isn't like fully exempt from arguments or whatever, it has its own place in them, especially with how influential it is in every culture, but if man is born with free will then let him think without the constraints of a theoretical god's law
#wolfy tedtalks#wolfy religious tedtalks#open discusiions are great because you get to talk to diff people with diff perspectives#its why echo chambers are bad#let the free man freely think. dont put him in a room or his thoughts will start echo#also i say theoretical as in if i was not christian i woild not believe god exists. he would not be real to me#also its pretty presumptous to assume that your holy book and holy god claims precedence over other people's books and gods

General Self-Aware HSR Headcanons/Guidelines(? Is that the word I’m looking for?)
~~~
Notes — I’m not coming back, YET. I still need to see a few things before I came back.
~~~
Reader is referred as ‘The Omni Aeon’ or ‘The Voidborne Sovereign/Arbiter” ORRR “creator/lord/Their, Your Grace”
I believe if hsr WERRE self aware, it’s highly likely that the ‘normal’ au for this au is that it’d be a cult au.
There’s already different factions that worship/follow in the paths of already existing aeons. So if reader was… well GOD, then I believe everyone would be in this unspoken cult organization.
Along with this unspoken cult, there’s unspoken guidelines. Just to list a few;
Any blasphemy of any degree is punishable by fates worse than death. (Newly added, their grace is okay with jokes)
You will be disowned by everyone, weather they be family, friends, jobs, factions, or aeons. You’re now an utter nobody and a blight that must be punished.
The Voidborne Sovereign must have statues on every conceivable planet, and be worshiped three times a day, no matter your business, condition, or whereabouts.
No violence or outburst will be allowed within 30 feet of The Voidborne’s Statue.
Unless the creator themselves give you permission, NO. ONE. Is allowed to call their grace by their real name.
Every faction have different ideas about you, but at the same time they all have the same belief of you.
The only mortals who’re able to follow your path are the emulators of aeons. (Acheron, Herta/Stephen, Feixiao) and the aeons themselves, but only with your permission.
Every planet has a building for you along with servants trained from birth. In belabog, they just give you the Qlipoth Fort. The Xianzhou managed to build a whole ship for you. And Penacony… well I honestly don’t know.
The reader has the following powers;
Omni-Manipulation
Absolute Creation and Destruction
Future-Past-Present Seeing,
Knowledge and Power Gifting/Revoking
Omniscience/Omnipotence
Complete Arsenal
In short. Everything.
Story wise, reader SHOULD NOT, gain these powers immediately. He should have a peak superhuman physicality, along with the same amount of martial arts training/experience of a 1,000 year old. Along with manipulating Either the imaginary or Quantum element at first.
The aeons would put aside all their differences if you so order them to. Nanook should be slightly rebellious and, if someone wants, he should be the main villain in a Self aware HSR x Reader story.
Reader should have a backstory. I’m talking about what happened BEFORE they made the HSR universe. I’m a fan of the reader being in a universe where there was ONE planet with a corrupt ‘god’.
I’m pretty sure I already posted a story of this back story. If you want to read it click here. RIIGHT HEEEEEERRE
Everyone in the galaxy has multiple books/fanfics about you written by some mysterious author. despite this, NO ONE is shameful enough to admit they have fanfics of you.
They’re are absolutely debates about how good you are in bed, along this other stuff.
-That’s all I got right now, sorry. SEE YAA-

Ideas I found on tumblr and have since incorporated into my worldview:
God regards humans the same way humans see insects: tiny, fleeting, largely insignificant and almost completely harmless, yet inexplicably terrifying.
God had no idea what would happen when he created creatures with free will - he had never done that before, and now his omnipotence and omniscience does not fully cover their actions. God controls all and knows all, except for whatever you're about to do next.
And sometimes he will wake from his godly sleep, hearing us skitter in his creations, chewing holes into his Divine machinations, like so many mice within walls, and he can't even think to himself "oh God what are they up to, now?" because there is nothing higher he could pray to. The creator of the universe is alone with the abomination he has made, and we're not stuck here with him - he's stuck here with us.

Do you have a favorite line from the Devil's minion chapter? I have not even read the chapter but I have seen a few on Tumblr and they are all so good!
DEVIL'S MINION CHAPTER SPOILERS BELOW
I don't have the book in front of me, so the grammar/formatting will be off, but I think I have the words right. (Anne's grammar is crap anyway tbh. Don't even get me started on it.)
The DM chapter opens with Daniel miserable and wandering the streets of New York. He is delirious from exhaustion (among other things), talking to himself, and imagining Armand can hear him. At this point, Daniel has been away from Armand for 6 months because he can't handle being in a relationship with a vampire who won't turn him. But as he deliriously wanders, he says....
"You know where I am, you demon. You know what Lestat's done. And you know I want to come home." And what would Armand say to that? "But I don't know, Daniel. I listen. I try to know. I'm not God, Daniel."
This seems soooo minor compared to all the glamorized catchphrases in the book, but I feel like it completely captures the complexity of their dynamic.
Daniel makes it clear throughout his interactions with Armand that he thinks of Armand as omniscient and omnipotent. He constantly thinks things like, "Armand would know what to do," and "Armand would know what's going on." And no matter how many times our hot-headed Daniel snaps at Armand and calls him "demon" and "devil," Daniel is really just angry because he worships Armand.
And Armand, despite all his protests and humility, at least knows that Daniel worships him. He doesn't have to change himself or mask. He just shows up, is himself, and Daniel falls to his damn knees over the boy.
UGH. EMOTIONS.

Q: Why do we not realize our unlimited being?
Lester: We have the conviction that we can't do it. If we were not convinced that we couldn't do it, we could do it quickly, even in a moment. How long should it take one with all knowledge, all power to recognize that he is all knowledge, all power? No time! And each one of us is that all powerful, all knowing individual. It seems so hard, almost impossible, only because we won't do it. That's why it is so difficult, - we won't do it!
You hold the concept that you are a body, rather than that you are an infinite, unlimited being. As long as you hold to that concept, you're stuck with it. You don't look at the other, the opposite side of you, which is unlimited.
Q: Well then, could you say that the only thing between us and realization is a thought, really?
Lester: Yes, that's it. It is a thought that is the culmination of much thought. If you would just examine how your thoughts flow after I tell you that you are unlimited, you would discover that immediately you dive right into the thoughts of being a limited body. When I say that each one of you is infinite, unlimited, right now, - at that moment you get a feel of it.
Are you aware of the feel that you get as I say it? Right now, everyone here is infinite, unlimited, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. When I say that to you, for that instant you feel it, but the next moment you think you are the body, and immediately take your full attention off what you really are and put it on the concept of being only the body with all its affiliations.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
How many of you women go about every day trying to discover that you're a female? None. Who of you men go about every day trying to discover that you are a male? Why don't you? Why don’t you people want to be told that? Because you accept it without any doubt whatsoever. But you do not accept that you are infinite. Why not? Why play the game of limitation and be miserable? Why? I'm asking you' the questions now instead of you asking me.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
All right now, if you will be that "I," and only that "I,” then everything will turn out to be like a dream. And when you see it full, a dream that never really was.

They released a Word Search for The Book Of Bill….and I have thoughts.
Thank you to the wonderful @trickengf for bringing this to our attention over on Twitter/X.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT!
These keywords are…intriguing, to say the least. They seem rather broad, and give the impression of being either chapter titles, or general topics that will be covered in the book.
Right. Time for some speculation:
Global Domination - I think we were all expecting this one, since there was an overt reference to the book containing a ‘key to overthrowing the world (laid out in a handy step-by-step guide’ in its description.
Possession - will we be given insight into how possession works/the ‘mechanics’ surrounding it, and how it feels to possess a human body from the perspective of a being such as Bill? Why he finds physical sensations like pain to be ‘hilarious’, and why ‘body spasms’ are so uncomfortable for him? Maybe he’ll tell us about some of the famous historical figures he enjoyed tormenting, or how ‘itchy’ their meat suits were. 0/10, would not recommend. Will be returning to the store tomorrow. Someone forgot to cut off the tags.
Triangle - triangle anatomy…? A trigonometry lesson? Information surrounding the Second Dimension, perhaps? The book is intended for a ‘mature audience’…Show us what you look like without your exoskeleton, Bill!
Death - either this could mean that Bill will reveal what happened to him after he was ‘erased’ from Stanley’s mind and how he subsequently survived the whole ordeal (including that rather painful-looking punch to the face), or Bill joins the likes of Heidegger and Camus and philosophises for several pages straight. I would personally be happy with either, or both. Although…I still find the idea of the entire book just being some sort of postmortem soul-searching project assigned to him by The Axolotl, and Bill begrudgingly going along with it because it was in the terms of the deal he made to ensure his survival to be absolutely hilarious.
Relationships - …excuse me? Relationships? …With whom, pray tell? Platonic relationships? Romantic relationships? Filial relationships? Bill’s relationship with his family? With The Axolotl, with Time Baby? With Ford?
AXOLOTL - ah, well, there we are. So Bill is most likely going reveal more about his connection with the Big Frills and divulge some interesting bits of lore. …Or not. Does he even know about the ‘sixty degrees that come in threes’ poem?
Demons - interesting. I wonder if there will be a catalogue of the different demons that Bill is aware of/has encountered/is friends with, in a similar fashion to the section in Journal 3 on the categories of ghosts. I also hope that the whole ‘dream demon’ thing will touched upon, since this was an aspect of Bill’s nature that was never really explained in a satisfactory manner, and was arguably even retconned by the time that Weirdmageddon rolled around. Is Bill a ‘dream demon’, or is he a being from the Second Dimension who was somehow rendered both omnipotent and (nigh-)omniscient, and thus merely shares characteristics with true ‘dream demons’, but is not one himself? Neither? Both? And what about the Henchmaniacs? Bill referred to them as ‘demons and nightmares’; are they all different species of demons native to different dimensions across the multiverse, or were they born of the Nightmare Realm and its natural entropy? How is all of this connected to the Mindscape and mortal dreams? So many questions…
Codes - again, will the book include a similar set of pages to the ones that can be found in Ford’s Journal? There are most definitely going to be new ciphers and codes to crack, but for some odd reason, I highly doubt that Bill is going to make it easy for us.
Straws - Silly Straws chapter has been confirmed!!! …In all seriousness, I genuinely have no clue as to what role the illustrious Silly Straw will play in this book. Perhaps there really is going to be an entire section devoted to Bill’s apparent fascination with them, or perhaps there is simply a little throwaway comment tucked in the margins somewhere… I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out when the book is released in *checks calendar* five days.

i’m pro choice and religious also but i’m curious if you could expand on how your pro choice beliefs are informed by your faith bc i’ve always felt like mine are in conflict w each other and im very curious bc ive never heard that before!
cw: mentions of rape
in the story of the immaculate conception we are faced with two options to account for the palpable power imbalance between mary- a young, unmarried, working class jewish girl living under a violent colonial power- and god.
the first option is that god is an authoritative, patriarchal god who subjects creation to his will. mary is not really given a choice in the matter of her pregnancy, and her utterance "i am the handmaid of the lord" is thus made under coercive circumstances, a faith born out of fear as would be typical for a young woman in her cultural context. in this scenario, mary's life only becomes worthy of protection after her pregnancy. she is sanctified not through her existence but through the injection of christ into her womb. in this scenario, because mary is coerced in a deeply imbalanced relationship, she is also a victim of coercive rape. jesus is thus the product of rape, and while this argument infuriates christians, this is the underpinning to pro-life ideologies. women are not worthy of protection until they have a child. they are justified not by their own existence but through their relationships to cishetero masculinity, of which god (in this scenario) must be the pinnacle. mary is not and is never worth more than the baby inside of her, which is a god.
of course, the attributes of god in this scenario are largely antithetical to what we know about god, especially what we know about god in a theological context. (such as: the spirit that covers mary in her impregnation is a feminine spirit, the shekinah, not a penetrative masculine entity. in fact the whole of mary's story has very little to do with men: between the shekinah and elizabeth, up until joseph is actively called into the narrative, it is a story about motherhood and sisterhood, not about heterosexual union or male/female connection for the purpose of childbearing.) if mary only becomes sanctified after she becomes pregnant, then the theological underpinnings of christ's conception and his redemptive arc make no sense. christianity at its core is rooted in the idea that all people are uniquely worthy of life. to be worthy of life means also to be worthy of dignity. since mary is the first to believe that christ is the son of god, the one coming into the world, she is the first christian (along with mary magdalene, the first to believe christ returned from the dead- two women named mary are the first to take up the two basic tenets of what it means to be christian); which means that god knew mary was worthy of life and this, worthy of dignity, before she became pregnant. it was mary's womanhood specifically that deemed her as worthy of dignity, because god could have chosen any way to manifest himself in the world but he chose to be the child of a woman.
this god- who is keenly aware of and yearns to give life to his creation, which cannot be bestowed without a deep and enduring respect and elevation of their dignity- cannot be an authoritative patriarchal figure, since that figure is incapable of upholding the life and dignity of a young, marginalized woman. this also means that, since god is not capable of violating creation's dignity, he cannot have coerced mary into pregnancy, meaning that she could not have been raped, meaning that by definition, mary was given a choice. in fact, this is suggested in the lucan narrative by her verbal consent to become pregnant: "let it be with me according to your word." this isnt a passive submission to god's will, because god does not desire passive submission from those he loves. it is an active choice. god wants us to choose him just the way we, as people, want those we love to choose us.
and we can sit and debate omniscience and omnipotence and predestiny, and whether mary really had a choice if god knew she would simply say yes, but i like to humble myself before god and not pretend to even remotely understand his thoughts. i only know what i can see, and what i can see is mary's verbal consent, and the nature of god as it has been revealed to me.
i cannot believe in a god who would violate a woman's dignity even for the most noble of reasons, because that is not the god i know from scripture. otherwise he would not be of the material of pure love that i know god is because he said so (john 15:12, 1 john: 48 and 4:16). so for me the entire basis of christianity comes down to women's choices and their freedom to choose- in that house in nazareth, in front of the tomb in jerusalem, but never once does the god that i know take away that freedom from his creation, whom he made because he loved. to whom he gives the dignity of choice, even when it leads us away from him, because he loves us. but he loves us enough to let us say no.

Hi, I saw you were accepting requests, could you do sibling scara in SAGAU with a reader that’s oblivious to courting attempts of her yandere acolytes?
SAGAU CONCEPT: COURTING THE SUPREME GOD
❀ synopsis: how will the acolytes pursue the favor of an oblivious god? this is going to be a various x god! reader
❀ pronouns: They/them
Ok, this solely depends if this is regular sagau or if this is my interpretation of cult au where the reader is a god who has existed since immemorial. If this is regular sagau the acolytes will lean into the idea of being your possible consort since you seem human despite the claims that you are the primordial god who created the universe. Some of the bolder acolytes like Venti, Childe, Kaeya, and Kaveh will be open about their attempts to woo you. While others like Xiao, Diluc, Rosaria, and Raiden Ei will be subtle with their approach.
While the big reason for wanting to be with you is because they (obsess over you) love you, some also like it for political power and the status that comes with being your lover. It would be easier to control and manipulate the people who aren't there for business to stay away from you, making it easier to cut off your personal ties and isolate you from everybody. Some examples of acolytes who would do this are Ayato, Zhongli, and Ningguang.
Poor reader, whatever profession they had in their old life wouldn't compare to their new life being the ruler of all of Teyvat. Your workload would double because of your followers trying to win your hand in marriage (that you never wished for). Some of your acolytes like Aether and Wanderer would try to reach out to you and convince you to take a break with them and steal you away to travel. Meanwhile, the others like Albedo, Ganyu, and Ayaka who promised to help you lessen your work will wonder where you left and notify the others of your disappearance.
Your obliviousness doesn't help in the acolyte's cases, and even some considered just yelling to you that they wanna (fuck you) marry you. But some are patient and will take their time in making you realize that their intentions are far from platonic and that they are more suited to be your partner. Ngl some of your acolytes might die in this situation since some of the characters will play dirty if it means they get to be your partner in the end.
Now, onto (my version of) Cult AU darling...
Cult AU darling has a bigger advantage here since 1. they have powers. and 2. they are one of the gods who existed before time so managing Teyvat is nothing to them. I would like to think in this case most of the acolytes would hesitate on courting you since, well, your YOU. You're the personification of life and death, your knowledge of the world exceeds every one. But there will still be some acolytes who will try to court you despite this fact.
Shenhe would be one of the followers who despite knowing she will never be your partner, will try to win your favor by being as helpful as possible to you. Every time you visit the adepti she would be right beside you waiting for your every order. Noelle is similar to her but she takes it to the next level, every lunch break she brings you a cup of freshly brewed coffee along with some of Monstadt's delicacies.
I feel like you wouldn't be oblivious in this situation since you are literally an omniscient/omnipotent god, but you just decide to ignore their advances. Which doesn't hurt any less for your followers. Some of the followers like Tighnari or Jean will cover up the hurt by working, but it seems almost impossible to not acknowledge the gaping hole in their hearts. But they understand.
Lovers are supposed to be the other's pillar for support, but your responsibilities as the god of Teyvat are too heavy for anyone to bear other than you. Lovers are supposed to have knowledgeable conversations with one another, nobody can match your knowledge of the universe other than yourself. Lovers are supposed to protect one another, you can easily defeat everyone without anyone's help. You can't possibly be anyone's match unless you duplicate yourself then it might be possible.
But you shouldn't underestimate their determination, some will try to look for ways to ascend beyond the heavens so they can be equal to you.

I feel like a lot of left-wing commentators are way too willing to take at face value claims made by Google and Facebook and the like about the power of their algorithms to predict and manipulate the behaviour of their userbase.
Like, okay, back in 2012, Facebook published a study on an experiment that they nonconsensually conducted on 12 million of their users to see how they reacted to subtle changes in how the algorithm conveyed politics to them; it showed a statistically significant effect.
Okay; right now you should be asking: why did Facebook publish this study? The answer is: because they wanted to sell advertisers on their platform; they wanted to make advertisers believe that they had an omniscient tool of public manipulation. This of course should raise a few more questions, like:
How many similar studies did Facebook conduct that didn't yield a statistically significant result?
Would Facebook have published these studies, given that their aim was to sell advertisers on their platform?
How would you go about reproducing the results of this study if you, personally, do not own a massive social media platform?
Given that Facebook has evinced an absolute willingness to lie through its teeth about just about everything else in order to make a quick buck, what are the odds that their data is on the level?
How would you check, given that their data is proprietary?
And perhaps most importantly,
If Facebook was so goddamn omnipotent at manipulating public opinion in 2012, why does everyone hate them and think their platform is shit now?
Like, don't get me wrong. It's bad that these megacorporations control the dominant public forum of the 21st century. But let's not humour their claims to omnipotence.
