I don't regret changing careers because I need money to live but I there are so many things I loved and miss about being a vet tech. my coworkers and the animals are one thing but there were so many skills I was learning that I will now lose or never get good at because I will never use them again. I'm never going to take another x-ray ever again probably ever in my life

#i can hang onto restraint techniques. and sq injections #but i will never draw blood again #i will never learn how to give an intramuscular injection #i will never watch another surgery or recover a patient #it's just weird to think about. i do miss it #sometimes i think about going back part-time but i don't think it would work unless i did emergency #and i think that would be my worst nightmare #i was very happy with gp

#This drawing is kind of personal to me #I recently graduated (CUM LAUDE WOOOO!!!!) and its like. not to get depressing #but when i was younger i was never sure whether i would make it to this point #When i was going through what i consider to still be like. the worst time of my entire life #This fictional character was there for me and she was something for me to latch onto and cope with #eGem helped me a lot with being able to process my emotions at the time but also helped me to reflect on myself #which i think is a big reason as to why I'm really happy with where i am with myself right now #I'm going off to uni next school year to study astronomy!!! which!!!#Im also doing because of eGem!!!
