I don't regret changing careers because I need money to live but I there are so many things I loved and miss about being a vet tech. my coworkers and the animals are one thing but there were so many skills I was learning that I will now lose or never get good at because I will never use them again. I'm never going to take another x-ray ever again probably ever in my life

Yeah it was a good day. Just kind of felt good. It's a cool track and I do really enjoy it. Some circuits you just enjoy more than others, and this is one. But in saying that it was a little bit different, the Monza, the asphalt. We saw a couple of big crashes. The grip is a little bit hard to find, a bit peaky. So it's kind of there but then it can catch you off guard, so glad to those boys are OK. Some of the chicanes I don’t love the new kerbs and all that. But it's still a good day and good to be back out on this track.  Yeah I'm pretty happy. I don’t think we'll do too much overnight, we're certainly not scratching our heads. I think we're in a good place [and] I felt a good level of comfort in the car. Some fine tuning [and] I'm sure there's some time to find like always. We'll not get complacent, but I think we're in a good place.

Being a Carlos Sainz fan means that it’s not enough to watch your favorite driver crash out of a race on the LAST lap right when he was about to podium, but then you have to deal with everyone out for blood and to hear them tell it, Carlos just did 9/11 pt 2.

one of the highlights of Baku GP was that on Saturday I befriended a girl in the queue and she was a massive Carlos fan. we survived the fan forum together and stayed in touch for the day. in the evening I messaged her and proposed to go to the gates together earlier in the morning and see if we can catch some drivers arriving. she was kinda reluctant to go and we were both pretty dead from the past three days but I convinced her to give it a try. we dragged ourselves there by 9:30 am.

she got her Ferrari hat signed by Carlos and I remember looking at her, almost crying, shaking, hugging me and thanking me that I convinced her to go. and I just thought that, man, I love contributing to other people’s happiness. genuinely made my day to see her dream realized ♥️
