this post is so bad my jaw actually dropped. like. yes being trans and going thru the wrong puberty is often incredibly traumatic. that is not the same as the intentional and widespread medical abuse against intersex people (especially children). irreversible medically unnecessary often physically harmful and psychologically harmful+traumatizing hormone treatment and surgeries are not the same as having to go through natal puberty, which is also often traumatizing, but it is different. and you know damn well that is not what intersex people are talking about when they talk about forced medical intervention and abuse. it is not the same thing at all. & this is such an obviously intentional misinterpretation of what intersex activists have been talking about.

anyway i think the overcomplication of queer labels has really done a disservice to younger (or newly discovered) queer folks trying to figure themselves out. you dont need to know every aspect and detail or your sexuality, gender, preference, etc. sometimes you just gotta let things happen and you’ll figure it out as you go. you may never have a word for it and that’s okay.

Tamlin is the one who has always done everything he can do to stop injustice. Protecting mortals, always accepting fae from other court in his land, trying his damnedest to find a way to break the curse instead of stealing a mortal. He has always dreamed of a safer and more just world and has always tried to make that come true. Even after loosing so much he always did whats right and true in the end.

but hes doomed by the narrative. His good deeds and genuine soul over shadowed by the biases of the narrator. Hes the age old tragedy of wanting to be the best he can and do the best he can.

hi! I miss drawing with people in a café and some folks mentioned they'd like to mess with my sketches themselves and that sounds cool so this is now a thing. if u play gartic phone this is basically the complement mode! but without the fucking ring noise that freaks you out right when you're getting into the flow of it

Hi, Hello! It's me again!!

Would you PLEASE write a story where a hero tries his best to hide his severe injury from the Villain? The Villain tries to know&patch up the wound, but the hero gets all nervous and tries to run away. It would be DELICIOUS if the hero got injured somehow because of the Villain(directly or indirectly).

I know it's too cliche, but I would love it if it's in your style!

You don't have feel pressure to write this, of course, and as always, I'm always rooting for ya!! Thank you for writing such wonderful stories. I always appreciate it!

“Jesus Christ, [Hero],” the villain spits venomously, “why the hell would you hide that?”

For a moment, the hero’s only answer is ragged breathing. Then, “I knew you’d be weird about it.”

Of course the villain’s going to be weird about it. The hero’s suit is painted crimson, his hand shaking as he tries to cover what he can of the damage. Which isn’t much, seeing as his hand is hand-sized and the staining is moving well beyond that range now.

The villain turns to root through his bag, wrangling a roll of bandage from one of the pockets. “I caught you bad, didn’t I?” he says starkly. “I- I didn’t realise how bad it was, Jesus—”

The hero’s attention is still on the wound in his side. “I thought this would’ve been a good thing for you,” he says tensely. “I thought the whole point of these fights was to kill the other person.”

The villain has been carefully not hurting the hero too badly in the hopes of avoiding this exact conversation. “Just because I’m a villain,” he says slowly, “doesn’t mean I’m inclined to literal murder.”

He takes a step towards the hero, met with an awkward stumble back from the other. “N-No,” the hero says weakly. “No, it’s not that bad.”

“Don’t be stupid.” The villain feels awfully like he’s talking to a child. A stupid, annoying child with zero self-preservation skills. “You’re bleeding out all over this lovely pavement. Come here.”

It’s like the idea of going anywhere near the villain is too much. The hero turns and breaks into a staggering run.

The villain starts after him, but he doesn’t get far before the hero’s wound gets the better of him. He stumbles once, and with one heroic attempt to recover, keels straight over. The villain’s heart leaps traitorously as his nemesis meets the unforgiving concrete.

“Did you just die?” the villain asks severely as he reaches the hero’s side, but his heartbeat finally slows a little when the hero answers him with a pained groan. “You did the exact opposite of what I told you, you idiot.”

“I don’t listen to villains,” the hero retorts weakly.

“Well, some villains have first aid training, so maybe think about that next time you want to ignore me.”

The villain wishes the wound was on the hero’s back, because then he wouldn’t feel the stare burning into the side of his face as he finally unravels a line of bandaging. He tries to concentrate on the work—hold the edges of the bandage, make sure it covers beyond the wound—but the feeling is too uncomfortable. He glances at the hero and immediately regrets it.

“This is awfully nice of you,” the hero says quietly, “for a villain.”

Secure the bandaging with tape. The villain, thankfully, gets to break away to grab his bag again. “I need the practise,” he lies.

“Ha.” The hero coughs, his face taut, his hand hovering nervously as the villain bats him away from the wound. “If you needed the practise, you would’ve hit me harder long before now.”

The villain, for a moment, considers the possibility of just leaving him on the floor. A bit rude to be bringing this up when the villain’s in the midst of doing him a favour, but… a point that’s hard to dodge. So hard to dodge, in fact, he has to avoid it by doing what he does best.

“Says you,” the villain sneers as he unrolls some tape. “Trying to run away from medical attention seems counter-intuitive, doesn’t it?”

It works like a dream. The hero’s gaze finally falls away sheepishly. “Yeah, well, imagine what the agency would say. Being attended to by a villain is probably a broken rule in my contract somewhere.”

“Uh huh. If you say so.”

The hero’s eyes turn back to the villain as he carefully lays the last strip of tape on his side. “I think you don’t hit me hard because you like me.”

The insolence of the comment makes the villain’s gaze snap back to him, just in time to see the shit-eating grin on the hero’s face. “Speak for yourself,” the villain retorts. “You’re the one who ran away from the prospect of me touching you.”

The grin recedes into nothing, and the villain adorns it in the hero’s stead. “I’ll try not hit you so hard next time,” he adds after a moment.

“That’d be nice.” The hero eases himself upright, patting the bandaging testily. “I’ll try not let you hit me so hard next time, too. I never want to do this again.”

God, the villain can’t believe he’s reached the day he agrees with a hero.

okay, bc i have seen this argument alot now (and it also seems to be the view point of aonuma himself..) is that "zelda cant do everything link does bc whats the point then"

and i take personal offense on that bc its a stupid argument (in. my. very. personal. opinion.- not judging people for liking it. its a ME thing)

whats the point? its that its her. its still a different character, different in story, background, personality, but i WANT to play zelda and she can do everything link does, why does she have to be so restricted and be bend over backwards to find some new way to make her 'useful' when link gets to do basically everything no questions asked (the only thing thats hers is like .. sealing power and sacrificial maiden, which i find a little underwhelming to say the least), if theres no point to it why are there always modders that model swap link with someone else, and in that case it has even less impact bc its an artificial model swap with no changes to the story (which can and should still be different when its the vanilla game with a different protagonist... its still a different character), clearly theres joy in just the model being a different one- and that isnt even to mention the story possibilities, since, again, its stil a different character

if we ever (never ... i know who we are talking about here) get to play as ganondorf i want to him to be just as versatile and active as link is, if we got a point and click adventure game for him instead bc 'whats the point' id be disappointed too- you can find any sort of excuse/explanation for zelda to be singled out but the fact remains it tracks with how female characters are often treated, and that hits a very sore spot for me

i guess i am unfortunately one of those annoying people that want to see female characters be treated exactly the same as male characters, possibly bc i am myself afab but identify as agender and have a deeply personal dislike for anything 'traditional' feminine bc i cannot and never will be able to truly live as myself in real life, it influences all of my work, my work is as just as much as my opinion on this, very personal

and in line with my point about modding, i see theres joy in just beign able to play as her even if its like this, i get that, i also get it for the creative aspect (though that mechanic worries me even more for the future bc it really seems to be the path now that -freedom = good, linear anything = bad-) it is a different idea and its not like i cant see that value- im not trying be "right" either, just bc i have that opinion doesnt mean i need everyone to agree, its a very personal thing, if you like it good for you! not for me though, and i think both of that is equally valid

i just personally wish she was allowed to be just like link, fight just like him but be different bc its still her and not him in the end- to be physically/playstyle like jsut like him, but you know ... as her, i dont think shed stop being zelda if she could wield a sword just like him

i dont really know how to get my point/feelings across, i dont want to step too much into personal stuff nor spam people with something that ultimately doesnt interest me alot, im just saddened by it really
