☁︎ RAINY DAYS ☁︎
-Reader: FEM reader -TW: none -Character: Optimus Prime (Transformers 2018 movie) -Summary: Optimus develops a quiet, protective affection for a human companion, treasuring their moments together. -Word count : 1453 -A/N: Ahhh this was so cutee!! I've tried my best, anon! :) It took me a bit to polish this one just trying to catch Optimus character better :3, hope you like it! . . . I love big robots.
The Prime stood in quiet contemplation, his optics flickering with the weight of his thoughts. Today the "Autobots base" was noiseless, except for the only sound in the room that came from a small TV. Its screen casted a faint glow, as his loyal companion, Bumblebee, zapped through various channels, each displaying what he presumed was human entertainment. The great leader of the Autobots had faced countless battles and made decisions that shaped the fate of Earth itself. Yet, now, he was confronted with a challenge that left him uncertain… his growing affection for a human.
He turned his helm towards Bumblebee, who was still tinkering with a small rectangular device, undoubtedly another human invention. The scout's dexterous servos moved with precision, his curiosity for human culture evident in every motion. That curiosity he had for humans was something else, Bumblebee had always been adept at understanding humans, particularly one individual who had become dear to the scout’s spark, a connection Optimus couldn’t quite wrap his helm around.
"Bumblebee, my dear friend." Optimus's voice rumbled inside the shed, to which the scout beeped in acknowledgement, blue optics lifting from the small device he held. For all his wisdom and experience, Optimus found the nuances of such personal connections elusive, particularly when it came to matters involving a certain earth native. "I find myself in need of your counsel…” his voice steady but laced with an uncharacteristic hesitance. “…might I ask, how does one get acquainted with an earthling?”
Bumblebee's optics brightened with amusement. Lately, he had seen the Prime’s subtle shifts once he got closer to their human friend. To see the unshakeable pillar of their team, a leader who rarely wavered, seeking guidance on something as deeply personal as affection, from him! Knowing full well that too much teasing could get him grounded, once again, by the big boss, he suppressed a teasing comment.
Shifting between radio stations, Bumblebee spoke "—that’s it!—might as well spend quality time with her—boss!”
The idea of approaching a human affectionately weighed heavily on Optimus. Deep down he was lost in thought, the alliance between humans and Autobots came first. However, this particular human had earned his respect, and gradually, he found himself warming up to her presence.
It was unexpected…
Ever attuned to his leader's demeanour nuances, Bumblebee softened his veiled teasing, followed by his next suggestion “---You all go for--- a Joy Ride!---”
Racing with a pick-up truck? That would be too risky, perhaps even impractical. His alt mode was functional, built for resilience and reliability, not for speed or flashiness, neither a sports car nor a sleek vehicle. It was a step he could take, though at his own pace.
"I thank you, dear friend" Optimus said, a note of gratitude in his voice. "Your insight is... most valuable."
.ᐟ.ᐟ
The sky had darkened, thick clouds gathering as a gentle rain began to fall. Subsequentially, the steady rhythm of the droplets intensified, each drop falling heavier than before. Amid the relentless rain, another sound broke through the downpour. It was the distinctive hum of an engine, accompanied by the sharp, glowing brilliance of the four headlights piercing through the rain. The pickup truck stood resolutely by the side of the road, its metallic frame shimmering as droplets clung to its surface.
The truck had been waiting patiently for an indeterminate time as then, through the haze of rain she appeared, huddled under a small red umbrella. Illuminated by the soft glow of a streetlamp, Optimus watched as she approached, her steps careful on the slick pavement. Once she reached his side, the door unlocked with a quiet click, inviting her inside. “Finally—” trembling, she climbed into the passenger seat, the door closing firmly behind her.
Inside, she was enveloped by the warmth of the front seats, a stark contrast to the cool rain outside. She set her umbrella aside and leaned back in the seat, with a contented sigh. "Thanks a lot for picking me up, Optimus" her voice resonated in his spark “I’m terribly sorry, I hope I didn’t make you wait too long under this damn rain! I swear, my weather said it was going to be cloudy...totally not this??”
"It is no trouble," Optimus replied, his voice a gentle rumble through the speakers. “I wouldn't want you walking in this kind of weather, you might get hurt. Never hesitate to give me a call, little one.”
Soon enough the engine started, and they drove in comfortable silence, the rain creating a soothing backdrop. Optimus found solace in these quiet moments, the presence of his human companion filling the space with an unspoken connection. He relished the opportunity to simply be near her, to share in the simplicity of the moment. This was his kind of “Joy ride”, a serene, intimate experience far removed from the high-energy adventures Bumblebee often took part in.
As they neared her home, the glow of streetlights casting soft halos on the rain-slicked road, she turned slightly, her gaze thoughtful. "You know," she began "I’ve always appreciated how you make time for me. It means a lot."
Optimus's spark swelled with an emotion that, despite his longevity and vast experience since he first came online, he was still learning to fully understand. "Your companionship brings me a sense of peace," he admitted, the sincerity in his tone unmistakable. "It is a privilege to be a part of your world."
Her hand reached out, soft fingers brushing against the dashboard in a gesture of affection. “And it's a privilege to have you in mine, truly" she whispered, her voice barely audible over the hum of the engine. She knew he could hear her, loud and clear, even if he didn’t respond immediately. There was a quiet understanding between them, one that was broken by his warm voice, drawing her attention.
“Would you like to hear some stories, my little friend?”
.ᐟ.ᐟ
An hour had passed, her eyelids grew heavy and she found herself lulled by the light sway of the truck. It was a rare moment of peace in a world often filled with chaos. Here, cradled in the safety of Optimus Prime, she allowed herself to drift into a peaceful slumber, trusting completely in the steadfast guardian who was carrying her home.
“---This brings many memories in my circuit” Optimus mused softly “The first steps we Autobots took on your lively, vibrant planet. It’s a bittersweet feeling, filled with nostalgia…” His words trailed off as he realized she had succumbed to sleep, her form gently resting against the cushion seat. “oh…” His words had continued longer than he intended. She had fallen asleep, her head resting against the cushioned seat.
His engine hummed quietly as he turned the corner by her house. With a slow, deliberate movement, the Prime transformed. His massive frame shifted awkwardly, yet he was careful enough to avoid any disruption.
With utmost care, his servos extended towards her, cradling her sleeping form. She stirred slightly but did not wake, her trust in him evident in her relaxed posture. As if in the hands of someone who would never harm her.
Attentive optics caught sight of the slightly open window. Soon, Optimus approached it, parting it with a click, careful not to make a sound. The rain had all but ceased, leaving the night air cool and fresh. With ultimate precision, he laid her down on her bed, tucking the blanket around her in a gesture that felt almost human. He lingered for a moment, his optics soft, his gaze filled with a tenderness that reflected his deep sense of protectiveness. She was safe here, in the comfort of her own room, sheltered from the outside world.
He stood there for a moment, his optics soft as he gazed at her peaceful expression. "Goodnight," he whispered, his voice a deep murmur. "May the stars always guide you."
.ᐟ.ᐟ
As he quietly stepped back from the window, miraculously avoiding breaking the glass, the Prime remained near her backyard, his massive form casting a shadow over the wall of her house. The soft hum of his systems settled into a quiet vigil, ensuring her safety throughout the night. There Optimus found solace in the knowledge that, for now, as long as he was with her, she would be safe and sound. With the Autobots' base under control, he decided to linger near her home, keeping a watchful optic on her, a silent but devoted promise of protection and care.
The faint light of the stars reflected in his optics as the night enveloped him while he transformed back into his vehicle mode.
Tomorrow would be another day.

Apparently you’re a person to ask about writing, so here I am with my writing question.
I recently started on my manuscript, and I’m finding the start kinda hard to write. I’ve heard the advice that you’re supposed to set up the protagonist’s “normal world” before introducing the conflict. However, I’m finding it a bit difficult, since everything I’ve (vaguely) outlined is after the conflict starts.
So the question is, how long do I set up the normal world before introducing the conflict? A few scenes? A couple chapters? And how do I do it without it feeling stagnant? Do I need to introduce some sort of sub-conflict to keep the plot going? Or what?
Thanks in advance!
- anon
Hi! So sorry for the delay. Life has been hectic, and I'm currently working my way through a huge backlog of Asks. So thanks for your patience.
Starting a manuscript can be such a tricky balance, especially when it comes to introducing the “normal world” before diving into the main conflict. You’re definitely not alone in finding this part hard to write—it has vexed me personally many a time.
The truth is, there’s no set rule for how much time you should spend on the normal world. Some stories linger for a few chapters; others launch right into the conflict and sprinkle bits of the normal world in as they go. It really depends on the type of story you’re telling and what feels right for your protagonist.
That said, here are a few tips that might help:
1. Introduce Change Early: You don’t have to write the entire “normal world” before the conflict starts—just give us enough to understand what the protagonist’s life was like before. A few key details or scenes can go a long way in helping readers understand what’s being disrupted.
2. Use Smaller Conflicts: If the big conflict comes later, introducing a sub-conflict early on can help keep things interesting. It doesn’t have to be huge—just something to show us what your protagonist cares about and how they handle challenges.
3. Focus on Character: The normal world is as much about setting up your protagonist as it is about the plot. Show us what they want, what frustrates them, or what’s missing from their life. That way, when the conflict arrives, readers are already invested in their journey.
4. Play with Structure: If starting with the normal world feels too slow, consider opening with a taste of the conflict (or its aftermath), then flashing back briefly to show how the protagonist got there. It’s a classic move, but it works for a reason!
The key is to keep the story moving—whether through character tension, worldbuilding, or smaller conflicts—so the normal world feels alive and connected to what’s coming.
I hope this helps, and good luck with your manuscript! Starting is always tough, but once you hit your stride, it’ll all start to click.
Hope this helps!

summary: you have missed your playful kitsune so much you decided to pay her a visit at the shrine.
a/n: oh, how i love this woman. this was pretty fun to write! i did quite a bit of research on kitsunes and japanese culture for this… send help, thanks!
Sunsets had always been nothing short of beautiful at the Grand Narukami Shrine—truly a sight to behold. The sky’s hues shifted from bright blue to a stunning mixture of pink and reddish-orange in the blink of an eye. Or well, that is how the Lady Guuji would describe it, at least.
She idly stood beneath the ether, taking in its magnificence with twined fingers as the soft breeze washed away any lingering thoughts in her mind. The feeling of her rosy locks being brushed by the wind was almost a lullaby of its own.
The sole reason for her sudden distraction from the moment were the sound of footsteps approaching her, ones she recognized faultlessly. She could even feel you coming from a mile away if she paid enough attention.
“Always the unexpected visitor, aren’t you?” Her voice was laced with that usual wit of hers while she turned to face you. Her elegance was something you had always found intensely alluring, no matter how long it had been since you met each other.
You couldn’t help but watch her for seconds that felt like an eternity. Your eyes lingered on the intricate details of her stunning kimono-like outfit before you even dared to speak. What a breathtaking woman she was.
“Yes, well… I have missed you.”
Her eyebrow arched in pure amusement at your unexpected comment—that little smile of hers only enhanced her reaction. Every mannerism of hers was soft and graceful, and the sight turned perfect as she crossed her arms and you caught the way the cherry blossoms adorned the scene surrounding you both.
She wasn’t used to such vulnerabilities from anyone, even if you had been more open about your feelings in the past yourself.
“My, how bold.” Perhaps it was the dim lighting emanating from the sun that made her almost perceive a faint glow posed on your irises, or it was all a mere figment of her imagination. She knew that look on your face better than she would like to admit, however. “Your words are… delightfully quaint, I must say.”
Your surprise was even greater than hers had been towards your first sentence. She spoke with nothing but the truth, which was fairly uncommon—she had always enjoyed teasing and pranking you. At the end of the day, that was her nature.
Miko’s hum filled the silence as she took a few tentative steps towards you, a slight tilt of her head only demonstrated how occupied she was examining you internally. She knew why you missed her—what you missed that only she could give you.
She circled you slowly as she took in your looks. Her arm crossed loosely right below her breasts, the opposite elbow now casually resting against the back of her hand as her chin was caressed by her index with sluggishness. It was clear she knew just how seductive you found this whole ordeal.
“Are they?”
If only she knew how much you truly missed her… all of her.
“They are indeed,” the smile upon her features was one you could almost hear even though she was right behind you. “What an intrepid little thing you have turned out to be.”
After some time, once she got bored of her eyes roaming all over your frame, she stood before you with the corners of her lips generating that mischievous expression she carried around at every moment. Your presence made her heart pound in her chest, though she would never say it aloud.
This relationship you had with the kitsune was quite complicated in its own way. You belonged to each other in a style neither of you could describe, but enjoyed greatly each time you were face to face. It had taken you such an awfully long time to get her to show her different facets, but you wouldn’t change it for the world.
“I expect you to understand how preposterous it is for you to meet me at the Shrine for such reasons, however. Your cloying excuse is… as endearing as it is foolish.” Her velvety tone only served to make you shudder.
You knew it was ridiculous for you to show up unannounced and expect her to share her warmth, though you didn’t seem to mind it as much as she wished for you to by the way you exhaled loudly through your nose and wrapped an arm around her waist to squeeze her close.
Just how audacious could you really be?
She somehow maintained her poise despite being caught off-guard by your actions. All she could feel was the way your breasts pressed against each other’s and your hot breath against the skin of her soft face. She was grateful her clothing covered the goosebumps you had inflicted upon her—she wouldn’t want you to see the effect you had on her that easily.
“I’m aware of it, Miko. I simply can’t find myself caring when, as I said, I miss you.”
She hummed, hands now resting on your biceps in an attempt to find some balance. “You’re aware, but you don’t care? How charming… Well, perhaps, you should rethink that stance, for your own sake.”
Always the playful one, her lips remained locked on that little smirk you couldn’t stop yourself from finally savoring after such a long time apart. Once more, you caught her utterly unprepared with your sudden kiss, one she would’ve pulled away from if only it weren’t yours. She caught onto all the feelings you poured into it the instant the shock washed away and she allowed herself to flutter her eyes shut—longing, desire, and pure appreciation.
How sweet.
Needless to say, the sight was one that seemed to have been plucked out of one of those sapphic novels Miko often read thanks to you. Pink petals surrounding you due to the soft breeze of the island, the gorgeous sunset highlighting both of your features, and the meeting of lips from two lovers too lost in the moment to remember this was a public setting.
She always allowed you to explore her mouth as much as you wished since she knew just how much you enjoyed it. It was so obvious you needed this from the way your fingertips sunk into the fabric of her obi so she wouldn’t escape from your affections.
She would never.
You were just so, so rushed to feed her your unwavering love with a silver spoon you wouldn’t have even noticed if the shrine maidens were around. You had mindlessly busied yourself with making up a dance with your tongues right after you had licked her lower lip to ask for permission.
It was maddening to withdraw from her at long last, though absolutely necessary. She couldn’t have you running out of breath just from a mere kiss, could she?
“Hm,” she swallowed hard as she took a good look at you, her lips and yours now swollen and glistening with saliva, “Alright… alright. I suppose I can indulge you, just this once. Don’t let it go to your head.”
You could tell she wanted it as badly as you did from the way her eyes were half-lidded and there was a hint of blushing on her cheeks. She could always deny it, but her body betrayed her each time, and it was truly adorable.
Your reaction was quick to the compliance of the kitsune—you twined your fingers with hers just to feel the heat radiating from her body as you pulled the both of you into the inside of the Shrine. You could have easily proven to her how much her absence had been weighing on you right there and then, beneath the Sacred Sakura, but you knew it wouldn’t be to her liking for your intimacy to be so public.
The walk towards her quarters was silent, awfully so. She followed close behind with that wicked grin upon her features as she watched the way your fingertips were digging into the smooth skin of her hand. You were holding back only by a thread, and she began to find your desperation strangely enticing.
After the agonizing moment of tension, Miko’s steps came to a halt against the tatami flooring once inside her personal area. You had been there quite a few times before, but never so late in the day for a reason as superficial as this.
She poured all her focus on how you slid the fusuma shut, though her gaze lingered on the way your clothing draped your figure so gently. It was mouthwatering, in fact—she wanted to sink her teeth and claws into your warm body already. It was difficult to resist, but she managed.
Her composure wavered ever so slightly seconds later, however. This time, she was anticipatory of your actions, though still affected by them. She could see the determination in your strides as your hands rose to cup her jaws and pull her in for a new searing kiss, and the poor woman had to take a couple of steps back from how forceful your grasp was.
Verbal communication wasn't needed there and then. The only sound echoing through the shoji panels were that of the sloppy clicking of your tongues, and it unconsciously filled her belly with a bubbling heat. You were oh so messy it made her tingle.
You forced the Head Priestess to stumble backwards unpremeditatedly, already knowing where that expensive futon of hers lay in the room. Of course, you helped her down on it with gentleness and care, though the contrast of your rough kissing made her realize you would be everything but lenient with her.
She wasn’t the type to surrender so easily to someone—you were that one exception.
You immediately found yourself pressing your moist lips against her neck to savor the soft texture of it, hands working on releasing her of her garments with practiced ease as you relished the jagged breaths she let out.
“So… primitive,” you heard above your head the instant you finally rid her of her robe, which would be situated beneath her at all times until you were done with her. You truly didn’t feel like throwing it away carelessly—it would make the scene less sensual, you thought.
The only vexing piece of fabric that separated you from her fully exposed form was that of her soaked undergarments, which clung to her pretty pussy like a second skin. Your gaze traveled downward to scan this image she provided you in such a selfless manner, and it was so delicious to witness that you contemplated the idea of eating her out over the white material.
Never mind that—you wanted full contact. That barrier would only make it worse.
You had fully ignored her previous comment to wrap eager fingers around the hem of her underwear, thanking Celestia above she never wore a brassiere. Her tits were on thorough display just for you, and you could see the way in which her pink nipples perked up when her hips rose to give you leeway to undress her.
It was almost frustrating how beguiling she was.
“You are enjoying this far too much, aren’t you?” She started, her tone as frolicsome as it was soft, “I suppose I should let you have your fun, hm?”
She expected an answer with the corners of her plump lips lifted slightly upwards, though you managed to catch her off-guard again. She didn’t understand how you managed to do that every time, but it was refreshing and new to her.
The moment you tasted her, that smile of hers dropped to introduce an expression you were familiar with: arched eyebrows and mouth agape as her breath caught in her throat. Where was that playfulness now? She seemed at a loss for words.
Your eyes could’ve rolled to the back of head at the mere feeling of those tangy, slick folds on your tastebuds. Never had you savoured something as delicious as her drenched cunt, and it drove you wild each time.
You made sure to hook your arms around her thighs to keep her close, meeting her gaze throughout the entirety of your favorite meal while her rosy cheeks gave you a sense of pleasure rushing through your body. You loved to see the way her hands grasped her own breasts to massage them while your tongue searched for new sensitive spots on the area you had previously explored several times.
Miko wasn’t a moaner, but rather a woman who would huff, puff, and whimper gracefully at every jolt of pleasure she felt thanks to you. She would attempt be even quieter this time due to how the thin walls of her quarters could easily allow the maidens to hear just how, with no effort, you could make her experience divinity with your lips.
“My…,” the syllable dragged on quietly for an instant, only because she had to silence herself by catching her own lower lip between her teeth. The sight of you amidst her legs was one she could admire for eternity.
You found that delectable bundle of nerves with your flattened tongue after taking your sweet time, something that made her fuzzy ears twitch upwards at the feeling and a gasp escape her unconsciously. Her face contorted while you slurped her juices and sucked on her sopping pussy, which began to clench around nothing as her head tipped back. Her reactions were always so elegant despite the unrefined nature of the situation.
You were aware of the fact that she was in need of more contact—more satisfaction. Who were you to deny her of this?
To her delightful surprise, one of your digits made its way inside her, and this combined with the way you were eating her out, the lewd noises from your mouth, and the heartbeat she could already feel on her cunt, it had been just a matter of time before she allowed herself to moan.
You adored those sounds. They were just as precious as her.
Her walls quickly throbbed around your finger, the intensity of it growing the moment you added a new one and pressed the tips against that spongey little spot on her core. You were driving her insane with each flick of your tongue and the latest movements of your hand.
It was borderline torturous. You suckled her pussy so disgustingly well while your fingers forced that feeling of release to grow in her lower stomach to the point of her legs already spasming. She was so flustered as a thin layer of sweat coated her and made her look heavenly—way better than the evening sky right outside the building.
Her eyes rolled back the instant her vision was blurred by a white flash, and she could swear she saw stars once her orgasm washed over her. All you observed was the way Miko’s back arched, her eyes glowing pink before disappearing behind her eyelids as her long claws buried into the soft flesh of her overly abused breasts.
Maybe your newest idea would make the moment more overwhelming for her, though you didn’t seem to mind it much—you wanted to worship her thoroughly, no matter the consequences.
Your digits continued to pump in and out of her sensitive cunt, tongue savoring each drop of her saline nectar as you exploited her poor, swollen clit. Of course, this drew a mewl from her; she was trying her hardest to come down from her high and you just kept her riding it like it was nothing.
“Darling!” She moaned out, glowy eyes meeting your hungry ones as her features still held that lovely fucked-out expression that made you even wetter than she was.
Her legs continued to quiver around your head while your nose nudged her mound with each soft shake of your crown, and she knew you didn’t plan to pull away until you gave her a louder climax to quench your thirst. Insufferable even at a time like this.
Naturally, one of her hands abandoned her tits to grasp your hair and try to make you calm down, but the sudden, electrifying sensation traveling up her spine forced her to shudder and whimper. Tears were starting to prickle her eyes now, the feeling of vulnerability overly new, though not unwelcome.
She was dripping wet, so much so your fingers were having a hard time keeping themselves inside her—of course you added a new one to continue overstimulating her delicious core.
Oh, she was gone.
Her soft cry was so obscene you would have found your own release from it if only you weren’t so busy helping the woman reach hers. All she could think about at this point was how good you were, how dirty but determined you could be just for her.
Her digits twined with the messy locks of your hair, drawing you impossibly closer to her swollen cunt to almost use you to climax once again. And once she did, her grasp grew stronger and her thighs squeezed your head so firmly you wouldn’t have minded having her asphyxiate you right there and then. It would be the perfect way to go, wouldn’t it?
She moaned in a way you hadn’t heard before—fascinating. It was such a smutty and loud sound everyone in the entire nation could’ve heard her if only they paid enough attention.
Once her hips had stopped their twitchy motions, Miko’s ragged breaths filled the room while your damp lips pressed soft kisses on her inner thighs to soothe her as best as you could.
“Well done,” was all you said as you held her legs in place to rise from your spot and meet her lips with yours. The aftertaste of her orgasm was delicious, you simply wished to share it with her.
She hummed at this, finding it amusing through the haze she felt. She enjoyed the praise, though quietly, of course.
“Hm…,” it took her some time to find her voice as her trembling hand traveled up to brush a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “Sweetling… do you ever stop to think about how fortunate you are to have me by your side? Only I coddle you this way.”
You seemed to have stolen her playfulness by the way you wickedly smiled at her words, holding her sides gently as your thumb rubbed mindless patterns against her boiling hot skin. “Yes. I think about it every night and day, Miko.”
You weren’t lying. This sweet kitsune of yours was the only thing that flooded your brain constantly—and she would only continue to do so after this glorious encounter.

Sonic x male reader that is Sonic’s bisexual awakening, I just wanna see him in denial over his first boycrush <33
“Woah, I’m Bisexual! I Didn’t Know That!”
Pairing: Sonic x Male Reader
Requested: Yes (by an anon).
Description: Sonic always thought he was straight. I mean, he’d never been in a romantic relationship before, but to him, that was besides the point. Until you came along.
Notes: Ahhh, LGBTQ+ stuff, my beloved. I will always take Sonic being a bisexual disaster on my bingo card. Hope you enjoy!
(Reader will use He/Him pronouns.)
(Not proof-read/beta-read.)
– – – – – – – – – – – –
Sonic never once thought he wasn’t straight.
…He had never been in a romantic relationship before, but that didn’t matter, did it?
Surely not!
Boy oh boy, was he wrong.
It was a typical day for Sonic; he was taking a stroll through the forest (not running, I know, what a shocker), when a shadow loomed above him, catching him out of his thoughts.
Turns out a giant, flying Egg-Robot was above him, about to ambush him, but before it could, it was knocked away by a large…mallet?
The robot staggers, shaking its head before looking towards its attacker.
You.
You called your mallet back to you, holding it in a fighting position.
“Hey, ya big bully! Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?” you ask it.
The Egg-Robot flies towards you, trying to attack, but you jump out of the way, landing on a tree branch above the robot.
The robot looks around, confused, only for you to jump down and smash it with your mallet, scrap flying everywhere.
You let out a whistle, looking at the destruction, before going over to Sonic, swinging your mallet over your shoulder.
“You good, blue?” you ask him.
“O-Oh, uh, yeah! Thanks for the save!” Sonic says, giving a thumbs-up, really hoping his face isn't red. Why is his heart beating so fast?!
“Heh, no problem. Always happy to help someone in need,” you tell him.
You pull out a piece of paper and a pen from your bag, writing down something before giving it to Sonic. “Call me if you need help again. See you around, cutie.”
You give Sonic a wink before heading off, leaving a red-faced Sonic to figure out what just happened.
“C…Cutie?” Sonic questions.
Looking down at the paper, it seems to have two things written on it; your name, and your phone number.
Oh, he has got to call that when he has the time.
(I’ll write a part two if someone requests it!)

if it's okay, would you mind sharing your art process? your style is SO gorgeous dude. keep it up spardacest nation!!!
Thank you so much anon, and of course! I kinda posted about it on twitter a while ago, but for anyone not also on there, here's a paraphrasing of what I said there! (under a cut bc it's gonna get a bit long)
(speedpaint video from procreate mostly bc like I also said in that post, it's one of the few pieces I've done entirely on procreate and thus entirely recorded kdfjhdk I usually don't do the sketching + painting parts on there but every now and then I get lazy and want to get it all done quick in one program lol! It's not as good as it would look if I were using krita to render (which is what I normally use) but it gets the idea across decently of what it is that I do)
The short version of my process is: sketch, clean up sketch for lineart, then flat colors, then paint over the flats (i make the flats my shadows and paint on the light), then a multiply layer for skin details (like lips, eyebags, etc), then an overlay layer for skin transparency details (red over the ears/nose/fingertips etc), then i do hair over the lineart, then a multiply layer with the contact shadows in a light beige/grey/neutral tone on top of everything else, and then i unify layers, paint over the details, and color correct the HELL out of it The longer version is: SO, first of all, I will say, my entire process for a finished/fully redered piece is pretty scattered and uses a lot of different apps, because after many years of trying out different drawing apps I found that I just worked better when I could incorporate the parts I liked best from each individual one rather than having to adapt to another app entirely! In total, what I use is: autodesk sketchbook and procreate for the first half I do on my ipad, then krita and photoshop on my computer when I'm actually rendering (but any photo editing app instead of ps will do, I'm just used to photoshop bc that's what I learned as my first drawing app WAAAY back in the day lol), and then meitu on my phone for color filters (also any phone editing app with filters in it will do), AND also optional just for references: blender and daz3d on computer + magicposer on my phone The actual step by step of what I do: First of all, if I want to do a detailed, well rendered piece I will start by getting my references ready. That means either just grabbing a screenshot from the game if it's like, a simple portrait, or a photo reference, taking a picture of myself in the right pose/lighting, and if it's something more complex I will recreate the scene in Daz3D to simulate a realistic lighting, OR even just blender (i have the game models for the dmc characters downloaded, so I can just pop them in, pose them and change the lighting to get a realistic idea of what shadows their faces will cast in that specific angle/lighting.) Note: references are pretty essential to me, and there's nothing to be ashamed about for using them! Personally I don't struggle a lot with the drawing/sketching part of art, but my tiny little pea brain cannot fathom how to make an object 3D in my mind, and how to visualize shadows realistically... thus the reliance on 3D programs to do that for me, and then all I have to do is draw what I'm seeing lol. My art improved significantly ever since I started making 3D refs so I could get /exactly/ what I needed - there's still a lot of leeway you need to learn though, because as realistic as the lighting will be in a rendering program, you'll never really get a fully natural looking image, as far as stuff like the body stretching/squishing/pulling when it's in movement, facial expressions, folds in clothing/fabric, etc... so really it's more a guide than something meant to be followed 1:1.
Then, once I'm confident I know exactly what I'm gonna draw/have the idea in my head, I start sketching it in sketchbook. Not really getting very in depth, just blocking out rough shapes - I like sketchbook and to be on my ipad for that because it feels very reminiscent of traditional sketching on paper to me, which while I'm not super confident on my traditional art abilities, I do get the most natural/fluid/non-stiff figures out that way. Then when I think I have the general idea ready, I export the sketch layer as a png and import it into procreate - which is where I kinda start picking at the sketch and polishing it like i'm carving it out haha. Lots of liquify tool, flipping the canvas to check if it's even, blending out some of the lineart to help out with the rendering later, and then polishing up what was once the sketch into serviceable lineart. I usually reimport it back into sketchbook at this stage - while I like procreate for drawing I don't love the brushes I can use for lineart there, and so I usually only draw the "base" naked figure in there - when I'm in sketchbook I use a hard pencil to refine the details, then on a separate layer add all the things "on top" like hair, clothing, etc - usually I can get it pretty easily in one go, and once I'm satisfied I erase the naked body under the clothes and unify the lineart layers. Then I will just do the flats with a hard brush, turning the lineart layer into an overlay layer and coloring things in with the shadow colors. At this point, I export the file as a psd and import it on my computer - I give it a once over in photoshop first to see if there needs to be any adjusting (like whether any layer that has an effect needs to have a different effect, if all the colors look right since the ipad screen isn't the most faithful, if i wanna change the background color, etc), and once I think it's ready enough, I open it up in krita, where I do the actual bulk of the painting/rendering (as to why specifically krita: it's because I've gotten very comfortable with the brush/painting brush dynamics there and cannot seem to get as good results anywhere else, it's just the goldilocks spot of a brush for me haha.) If anyone's curious, here's the brushes I usually use for painting:
The one in the middle is my go to painting brush, left one for tinier/more refined details, right one for blending out soft shadows (though I learned the hard way to not overuse it, or it will look like I went ham with an airbrush tool lol). (I don't change any of the settings on these brushes, so if you wanna try out the exact ones I use! Just fresh off how they come out the app haha) I paint on the lights on top of the shadows, and just focus on that for the time being - once I'm done with the basic painting, I'll make a separate multiply layer for details like lip color, eye waterlines, makeup if there is any, eyebags, etc, and then adjust the opacity until it feels right - then I'll make an overlay layer with skin translucency details (like, when you hold your hands in front of a light and see the tips of your fingers become bright orange - many parts of your body are always a bit translucent to the blood underneath, specifically parts where the skin is thin like noses, cheeks, joints, knuckles, etc, and I found it makes the character look a lot more alive to add that subtle coloring in) - then usually I do hair on a separate layer on top of the lineart (because that way I can add small flyaways, more details, etc, and just use the lineart as a guide) After that, I'll usually make a multiply layer on top of everything where I'll add contact shadows in a neutral color (usually pretty pale, it'll be darker anyway since it's multiply), and once I feel like I've rendered everything out properly, I save the psd and re-open it on photoshop.
In photoshop, I'll mess around with the layers a little bit more (changing hue/saturation, opacity, etc), fuck around with the background to make it look pleasing, and once I'm happy with it, I'll unify the layers and start color correcting - usually by duplicating the unified layer and messing with the curve/hsl of the image and then changing the opacity of that edited layer until it's as strong or muted as I want it to be - then I also edit the RGB curves individually and adjust the opacity of that also (because I just really like how it ends up looking if I give a bit of a red/warm tint to the shadows lol), and at that point often I will reimport the finished image into procreate for some finalizing touches! Like, blending out shadows that came out too harshly, painting over anything that came out not the way I wanted it, redefining the lineart if it got messy during painting, and adding any extra small detail that might have gotten lost like catchlights, hair shines, hair flyaways, tears, etc. I also do one last round of flipping the canvas and liquify if needed! At this point, I export the finished image both to my computer and my phone - on my phone I open it up on the photo editing app, and add a bunch of different color filters - I don't hesitate from going completely balls to the walls here, and just kinda applying as many filters as will make an image look pleasing to my eye. Once I think it looks good, I'll export the edited image to my computer - and then open both the version without filters and the one with them on photoshop, and use the filtered version as an opacity layer, and adjust it until it doesn't look as crazy anymore lol. One last step I recently started incorporating was also changing the image to grayscale after I'm done, and doing one last round of curves in greyscale to make sure the values look right, and nothing is getting too lost because the values are too similar (because i know i get a bit swept up in getting repulsed by harsh contrasting lighting and can end up washing out all of rendering if I don't check myself kjdfgk) AND that's it! Yes it's a pretty long and chaotic process, but it's coming from years of trial and error and realizing I can just let myself fo whatever makes me happier with the results, and I don't have to stay constrained to one program if I don't like every tool it has to offer/don't have to accept the final image fresh off the painting app as the "finished" image with no adjustments allowed after, lol. I don't find it takes a lot more time than if I didn't do it this way, but YMMV. Hope this was helpful and sorry for taking so long to explain! I just wanted to give a thorough explanation dfhdkhkx
#asks#sorry i know its a bit chaos hfdgd#but i hope its helpful anon! thanks for asking#also for anyone wondering#no i am not paying for ps lmao#fuck adobe#it is always morally correct to pirate adobe products people#if you have an alternative photo editing app you like best youre welcome to use it#but if youre too used to photoshop. everything is free on the internet if you know where to look#i also wouldnt recommend meitu bc it feels like a pretty sketchy app all things considered#im just too lazy to care to change my go to app but i would look for a different phone app#p sure theres billions that let you add funky color filters instead#actually i think you could use photoshop camera raw filters for that too#its just way too intensive of a process for my tiny potato computer and it feels a lot faster + seamless on phone

OKAY SO I've gotten two asks about my Noisette cosplay AND THANK YOU SM FOR THE KIND WORDS !!!!!!!! It was sm fun to make this cos, so I will gladly explain everything I did in hopes that it might help someone else!! also both anons please share your cosplays with me when theyre done i would love to see them....
I've tried to link everything where I can, where I got stuff etc... I only rarely cosplay (although I am thinking of going as the noise in May Comiccon) and this was my biggest ever project so!! It's very trial-and-error! But without further ado
KATES EXTENSIVE(ish) GUIDE TO COSPLAYING NOISETTE FROM THE HIT GAME PIZZA TOWER!!!!!!! (warning its kinda long)
THE HAT
Okay i’m gonna be real my mum helped me so much she basically did all the sewing for me. Sewing is the fucking bane of my existence I hate doing it so much so we planned it out together and she basically executed it. Props to her for that she’s so real… She also wrote down what she did!! So i’ll just paste and colour that in for you to read!!
“The black material (seen in the above image) was originally a beanie hat that was picked apart to use as a template…
This was game changing basically. We had experimented with making the hat from scratch but it was far too difficult and we were both too stupid so we just unstitched a pre-existing hat and stole the template. The hat we cut up was one we had lying around for years so i cannot tell you where to get one from, but any beanie that is stitched together will work i guess! So I would recommend finding a hat that fits you snugly and doing the same thing!
…and the wool fabric that was utilised gave the finished product was stiff enough to be structurally sound.
I just got this from my local fabric shop, I would recommend wool over something like felt because it’s super sturdy and I was pulling on my mask a LOT.
Once sewn together, I attached a stiff card facemask to the front to help provide some structure, and to locate where the eye holes should be cut.
I think this picture shows it pretty well, my mum was able to curve the shape of the fabric to fit a pre-existing mask- we got ours from Hobbycraft, just one of those stringed white template masks yknow. We cut off the string, made the eyeholes a little bigger and just stuck it straight on!! I should mention this was pretty much all done with a sewing machine as well!
After that, we made two ears from a paper pattern, stuffed them and put some wire inside to allow them to be positioned, before sewing them onto this headband, which was then sewn into the hat. The bottom of each ear was also stitched to the crown to give it some additional stability and to secure the headband correctly in position (having fitted it on the wearer).
Yeah it was actually less of a mask and more of a headband!! That was what gave it most of the support and meant the ears would stay up, I’m not sure how it would work without it!! The ears were the only part that I could actually help with LMAO i just freehanded a little template, stuffed it, and then put in some modelling wire to make them able to be posed :)
Then it was a lot of hand sewing, and glueing the eyeholes to the mask to create a cohesive look.
AND YEAH that’s pretty much all it was! I also attached some little felt eyelashes to add to it as well. Honestly I could never come up with a step-by-step guide for the process because it was such a trial and error thing (i’d made two test-hats before we even came up with the method) but it was so fun!!
I would 100% recommend if you want the ears to stay UP to stuff them AS MUCH AS U CAN and/or put wire in them!! :) I also made some cute little bows to clip into my wig in the same fabric to make it more cohesive!! I also put a bow (and a bunny tail heheh) on the back of the dress too!!
THE DRESS
Super simple! I just found one online (okay for some reason the link has been taken off of the website, but just look up "overall dress" on google shopping and you will 100% find something super cute)- I made sure to buy the dress first, and then take it to the fabric shop to try and colourmatch the mask fabric as best as I could. Then it was just buying some big ol buttons off eBay and sewing them on!! (I could actually do that bit by myself, I'm bad at sewing but im not THAT bad)
EVERYTHING ELSE
Cute patterned knee-high socks cuz shes cute like that. Leg warmers, I think I got them both off of Amazon... Converse I got from Depop and I had wanted to buy a pair anyway so I was super stoked to get them cheap!! I chose converse over a pair of high-heels or Mary Janes just for comfort reasons, I was walking around loads at the con so... Everything else apart from the shirt was from Amazon or just. Somewhere online(I have no idea where to get fancy white gloves LOL) and the shirt was from Depop as well! I liked how frilly it was, re: Noisette is cute like that!!
oh yeah and the wig. I hate wigs it was awful. I have no idea how to style them. underneath the hat was the most awful bowl cut ever I just. It wasn't my best moment. Dont ask me about wigs please .
Also I should mention I got this bag for the cosplay (which I now use all the time cuz its so cute) because i needed space to store shit and I wanted something on-brand with her cafe... this isnt the exact link I used but I just got it off of ebay :P
PROPS
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of WIP pictures of my props but they were pretty simple to make!! The coffee cup was literally just spraypainting over a reusable coffee cup and using POSCA pen to draw on the front! Fun fact the cup says "To Peppino" because originally my boyfriend was gonna go with me as Peppino before the Cruetly Squad brainrot got to him so. YEA
And the tip jar was also pretty simple, I just painted on the lid a plastic jar (can't be glass, not allowed at ComicCon) and cut out a bit of vinyl to work as the sign. The cobweb was just hot-glued 3D printer filament, and the spider was made with foam modelling clay (literally the best thing ever if you're making small models like that) and i stuck him to the lid of the jar with Kandi string so he'd bounce around :]
AND I THINK THATS IT!! i may as well post a pic of the full cosplay since I dont think many people would have made it this far.... But I think it turned out pretty cool!! I got recognised a few times as well which was amazing!! (cropped out my bf cuz idk if he wants his face on tumblr gfhhfg)
SO YEAH!!!! if anyone has any questions please let me know.. but GOOD LUCK IN UR COSPLAY MAKING FRIENDS!!!! :D
#ask#pizza tower#noisette pizza tower#noisette cosplay#pizza tower cosplay#Yes this is very longwinded! But I really wanted to include all the details!!!#also second anon im so sorry it took me so long to reply i completely blanked on its existence#I HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL TO SOMEONE... ANYONE#re:noise cosplay in may? i'd love to try out making a mask (like out of paper-mache of his whole face) rather than a fabric one#might be fun? not sure#also face reveal ig i hate How i look in the cos cuz i rely so much on my hair to look half decent but.#IN THE NAME OF HELPING SOMEONE... ough#anyway ill stop rambling#thank u for the asks!!!!!

Hey, new follower here! (I'm actually in the wrong account so please don't mind me being anonymous!) I really love your art and I mainly wanted to say that your art and style is amazing and beautiful! Secondarily, do you have any tutorials or tips on drawing bodies, hands and I noticed you do blood? I understand if you'd rather not answer that; if so just only the first half! Love your art! Thanks for existing (if that makes sense)❤️
wah... first i just wanna say tysm!!! youre so sweet 😭
i unfortunately dont have any tutorials or anything made already and i dont really want to make any as of right now because i feel like i have a long way to go in terms of learning how to properly draw a lot of things. since i don't know what im doing id feel really lousy putting out a tutorial when i dont even have a lot of the basics down yet...
im gonna blab under the cut about tips (not really tips on drawing bodies themselves as a guideline, but what has helped me practice and thus allowed me to get better at drawing bodies in my own art), so u dont have to read all that if it doesnt interest u! but regardless thank u again for being so sweet!!! sorry i couldnt give u what u wanted.. maybe one day... 😭
again this is just how i practice, but its GENUINELY helped me get so much better.
all i can say as far as tips is to definitely practice with references as much as u can, it really will help u improve. i know people often dont like that advice too much but its really true... every time i use references to practice for a bit i can tell it helps me, and looking back at older art i know its true. i dont often use guidelines (i really need to...), or at least not in the sense that i do in most of the guides i see so i feel like i cant give much else in terms of advice tho, other than that.
anyway, its one thing to just use a reference, but really trying to get it down and learn it (learn the body, anatomy, how to draw it all) so u carry that knowledge on is sorta different, for me
what has helped me to really learn is this method of practice where i
draw a reference photo based off what i see
trace the photo
overlay both my trace and the first drawing i made
go back and choose key points on the photo/trace where i was very off and mark them as a little dot/line and then try to fix the original sketch with those dots/lines to match the photo (look below to understand what i mean LOL sorry)
try and draw it again from scratch based on what i see visually
and for number 4, what i mean is this:
lets say the 2nd is my visual (rough) drawing based off of the original
overlaying my original sketch on the reference i can see where a lot of points are off!
ill make note of a few of the areas that were very off and mark them, then get rid of the reference underneath. ill still look at it as a guide on the side, but overall try to just change the original sketch to match it instead of directly tracing!
i feel like this may not have been exactly what u mean as far as tips for drawing bodies, but ive found that in order to grasp them better in a way that helps u draw them on ur own, doing studies like this really helps! for me, at least, it allows me to better store things in my memory--because looking at the image and practicing doesnt feel like it really CEMENTS any knowledge, but seeing where i went wrong and then working backwards to try and alter it shows me where im lacking in skill, and helps me use that information later!
doing this allows me to understand how bodies take up space. it has helped me to see the body as more of a tangible thing while i draw freehand, and do it more accurately as well, instead of it feeling like its. a limp noodle i cant grasp LOL
i will say, tho, that for hands especially i almost always use my hands as a reference for what i want. like i dont even have a guide for that in terms of what i do to draw them out or guidelines i follow, i just straight up draw them based off what i see or imagine, i dont really do those step by step guidelines...
im sorry again i couldnt rly give u what u wanted, i just dont think im at that level where i can truly give any advice since im not good enough (yet ! we hope) for a genuine tutorial. if u mean something as far as like... body shapes and stuff im still not rly there yet either. i hope this helps even a tiny bit tho, if u read this far!!!
#thank u anon.. sorry again#even for blood i literally have to redraw it 50 times and hope for the best so i cant even rly give adequate advice there#thank u tho ur so sweet....#asks#AND DONT worry abt being anonymous i dont mind !!!#sorry about all the blabbering thats why i put it under the cut#also bc i dont think its what u asked for so. u absolutely dont need to read that#genuinely doing that tho#and even using that same method of practice but applying it to say. anime screenshots. has helped me a lot#it shows u how other artists think and conceptualize things which u can use to open ur own mind and how to approach things in ur art#references are the key to everything...............

Oh you're Brazilian, correct? *saw ur bio*
I was wondering if there's anything I should or shouldnt do when making a Brazilian OC.
Oh hi!
First of all, thank you for the ask :) I'm very happy you decided to make a brazilian oc, whatever is the reason (if any at all lol) 👍 Keep up the good work.
Now, generally, what you should avoid are the most common stereotypes assossiated with latin people in general (like the Latino Lover stereotype), and some specifically assossiated with us a lot:
The Soccer Player ("every brazilian [black] guy obv plays soccer"), the Samba Dancer ("every brazilian black girl dances samba"), the Sexy Brazilian (everybody has their preferences ig but try to step away from fetishization--also falls into the latino lover a little) and the Carnival Party Person ("brazil is a very big carnival party all of the time") are some examples of stuff you should avoid.
Some things I would advise you to consider aside from this are A. Their race, B. The area they're from and C. Cultural differences (I'm gonna list them in a bit).
I mention race here because a very common thing in Brazil, actually (at least if you don't consider the South/South East) is the miscigenation phenomena. Long story short, some centuries ago, the colonizers had an... "idea" of toning down the population of black people in the country, so interracial relationships were very incentivated to "breed" lighter skinned black people. Results: On this day, most brazilian people in the Northern areas are not 100% black, but very very mixed (like me). A lot of people have dark skin, though.
Now, the area where they are from would also play a big factor in the things you want to consider, because Brazil is big, so we generally divide it into five areas (this division was made in 1969 i think, by the IBGE--the brazilian institute of geography and statistics): The North, North East, Central West, South East and South. If you search for a map with this categorization you'll be able to see it.
Culturally, these areas are very different, but I'll go through them briefly here.
North - most of the indigenous folk are concentrated here (for many historical reasons) and here is also the Amazonic forest (a bit of it is in other countries' territorries but I don't remember exactly which). The demographic density (which is the amount of people per say, mile) is very sparse, and despiste it being the largest area out of the five it isn't the most populated. Indigenous cultural heritage is the strongest here.
Nort East - warmest area in the country. The majority of people here are black or brown (for a lot of other historical reasons i unfortunately can't go on about here but they are very interesting if you wanna search up) and African cultural heritage is the strongest here.
Central West - has a very little amount of states here, and also the Federal District--aka the capital, Brazilia (fun fact: Brazilia isn't localized in any state, like the capital used to be, it is separated, so that's why we say Brazil has 26 states + one federal district). I don't know a lot about this one, so I'm gonna rely on Google a little, but basically:
That's the only area that is not bathed by the Atlantic, so no sea here at all, and back in Colonization Days, it was a very explored area for mineration (one of the states here, Minas Gerais, was named because of that, fun fact). Most of the population here is white (50,5%) and brown [mixed race] (43%) source (wikipedia page for the Central West in portuguese).
South East - as we go down here, the areas start getting cooler and whiter. The biggest cities of the country are here: São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. White population, as I said before, is strongly concentrated here, because Back In Colonization Days, a lot of europeans (mainly italians and germans i think, although i might be wrong on this one) migrated to there and the South because the climate is more like in Europe than in the northern areas. This is probably what most people think when they say 'Brazil' (that or the amazonic forest, ofc), because media wise, it covers mostly carioca Carnival (Carnival from Rio de Janeiro) or the super urban city of São Paulo. Fun fact: One of the Seven World Wonders, the Christ The Redeemer statue is located there, in the RJ.
South - smallest area in the country. There are literally just three states here. It's also the coolest area out of the five, and there is even snow here! The European heritage is very strong here, also because of the migration from a few centuries ago.
If you want more insight on a certain specific area for your character, I'd be very happy to help! :) I myself am from the North East, so I have the most information about that, tho.
Now about the cultural differences in general.
A few important things that really differ are:
The culinary (depends of the area, though: up north it will have more african and indigenous dishes, down south there will be more european dishes and stuff)
The climate (if your character is from the northern areas, they will have a hard time adapting to any cool areas they might be in now--in the North East we're used to an average 25º C, or 70º F, for example, so if things go cooler they're gonna want to be very warm)
The measurements (celsius degreees vs farhenheit, miles vs kilometers, centimenters vs feet and inches, etc.)
The calendar: In the South Hemisphere, unlike in the North Hemisphere, summer is on the last and first months of the year and winter is in the middle. Basically, the seasons are inverted up there in relation to here
The school year also works a bit differenly, for that matter: Janurary and the first week of February are summer vacations, and then the year starts. A few weeks later, we have a few more weeks off for Carnival, so no school then too, and *then* you could say the year actually starts. In June (winter), we have a 10-day break for São João festivities (at least in the North East because São João is a cultural "festival"--if that's the right word), and then summer break starts around the end of November or the end or December, depending on the exact school.
Oh yeah, and one more big difference your character might find strange assuming they're in the US or a similar country now: In Brazil we have a thing called SUS - the Unique Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde), which is a free health service for everybody, funded by taxes. I heard that in the US all medical care is private, so I wanted to highlight that in Brazil we have free public healthcare and then also the private hospitals, so that could cause some cultural chock, lol
Same thing for college: There are a lot of public universities. There are actually many differences between usamerican and brazilian education system, but the main ones are that.
If you have any further asks, feel free to send them, I'd love to go deeper into one single thing if you want it. Good luck with your oc <2
#brazilian oc#brazil#asks#anon#others ocs#okay that was LONG#sorry anon#latin america#brazilian#latino oc#latina oc#latine oc#latin oc#i got carried away lol#anyways hope that helps!#and again thanks for the ask#writing advice#ish?#OH if you also wanna go into fashion anon#i'd love to help#most of my insight would be focused around north east tho lmao#oh also something you might want to consider idk is the internal xenophobia#people from the south dont really like us#generally speaking#there is this idea that every baian is lazy (bahia is on north east)#or a lot of other racist stereotypes people from the south assign us#like the................stereotype that every cearense (from ceará) has a giant head#its stupid#but anyways#(im not lying when i say that this ask made me very happy hehe)

wait so does that mean you'll end up with 600 copies of book 2 total????
yes (grimacing emoji)
yeah, I ordered 300 of each book cause I sold 150 of each, and I figured I would sell probably 150 more once the series returns from hiatus and I can advertise to the majority of my audience...
Plus, with 4 books, that makes 600 books in my apartment! I have room for 600 extra books.
And, the amount it costs me to get 100 books if I sell out of one is a couple dollars more per book, but the profits from my previous sales will cover a reprint with no issues!
so I mathed it out really well between the space in my apartment and costs and everything and then I got 300 extra books that were wrong HAHA
all good though! since they're "free" for me due to the printer replacing them, I can sell them at a reduced cost without issue. As long as I actually can get them out of my apartment eventually... 300 books is a LOT!!! I still have copies of my 100-200 print runs of earlier first comics...
#thanks for asking haha#I like talking about business stuff a lot#I really enjoy math and everything and it was a lot of fun planning out all these little intricacies of my kickstarter#buuuut yeah this is a bit stressful...#its just so many books#and its not like I've got a publisher or anyone to be helping me move them#so. RUH ROH#all good though#I'm hoping to get into a con soon so I can actually sell some of these books off there#but I havent gotten in anywhere!!! augh#they keep waitlisting me...#asks#anon#so I'm stuck with online for now

If you were a chulip character how would players kiss you?
find and present to me a working copy of Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1 for the PlayStation 2 and you can kiss my stupid ass
#ask#anon#for a more serious and personal answer. idk i imagine you'd have to see and accept me at my weirdest. otherwise NO kisses. NO love.#you cannot 100% the game if you cannot accept me for the weird fucked slop i am#i also deal 98 hearts of damage if you fuck it up. and i wont appear for 30 ingame days. need time to recover.#best hope you didnt leave me as one of the last citizens you had to kiss#you could savescum i guess to bypass the wait time#but deep down id know#the only character in chulip to have a mr resetti mechanic#another silly answer would be that youd have to find a working beta of tf2 with grenades still intact. but thats impossible im afraid.#but even then i dont think i feel that attatched to the beta. its just the researcher in me who wants to see how the viewmodels look#like we know what the dynamite packs viewmodel looks like. but not really anything else im afraid.#we have an idea of what some viewmodels wouldve included with their model#like the bear trap has an unused portion of its UV sheet that displays what wouldve likely been meant to be a chain#so i wonder how a chain wouldve been adapted with the beartraps viewmodel#like is it a cluster of them on the end of the chain and the scouts spinning it.#or is the viewmodel of one with a chain wrapped around the jaws to help its viewmodel have a more solid silhouette#the frag grenade has what i assume to be the uv portion of a pin#im just fascinated by scrapped content i think.#anyway thank you for the ask anon#i kinda wish i had a game i couldve listed with a funnier title but. dbz budokai is the one that sticks out in my mind

hi! this is unrelated to the situationship but i’ve been going through a crisis about whether i’m bi or a lesbian for like six months now lmao and iirc i think you went through something similar once, so i was just wondering if you had any tips or advice about how you figured it out? tysm!
hiii i did ! i went thru this crisis like 3 times b4 i figured out i was bi, it can genuinely rly be difficult to figure it out it :)
i'd say keep in mind that it's not important to have a label rn - just keep urself open to exploring new feelings ! but also if u want to figure it out faster, spending more time w both men and women - esp those u think you might find more attractive - might help ! for me it was having guy friends, going to clubs, dating, etc, but it can truly be anything :) since starting a hinge profile i've been seeing quite a few men that i found super pretty which confirmed things even further for me (if you go down this route remember that dating app algorithms take a while to adjust)
also remember that ur standards for men may be different, and you may have an intense preference for women which wouldn't make you any less bi ! similarly, if you genuinely cannot imagine a future or conceive of any romantic/sexual attraction between u and a man, then you may be a lesbian ! the point is that u can date ppl and find out !! ♡ also labels can change as u learn abt urself over time so it's all good if you can't land on one definitive label rn forever, it takes time and life reveals new things to us all the time 🩷
while i like knowing that men are like...within my dating pool now, since realising i'm bi basically nothing has changed for me bc i still find women so so much more attractive, so it's good to remember there truly is no rush ! take ur time experiment have fun x
#also looking at pretty men on pinterest did it for me somehow like 😭 its rare that i find myself attracted to a man#but once in a blue moon . yeahhh#one of the reasons why i wanted to figure out a label faster was bc i felt bad not being in either community decisively#after talking to bi ppl and lesbians from diff walks of life i can confidently say like 90% of ppl do not care#if you might only be attracted to women and call yourself bi for the convenice while figuring it out its rly not harming anyone#ppl telling me to read the lesbian manifesto when i was younger halted the speed at which i figured stuff out sm#i would not recommend . but i do suggest reading up on comphet and considering whether ur experiencing it!!#the best way to know though imo is to go thru the mortifying ordeal of talking to more men#also if sex is a part of it for u dont be afraid of exploring the topic more! reading or talking abt it can be super helpful !!#like for me i have a very strong genital preference against male genetalia and it felt rly weird to talk abt it but actually like#sitting w my mostly bi friends and actually talking abt it and doing more research into it made me feel more#secure abt how i felt :) online communities can be rly good for this actually !#also thank u for sending this i enjoyed not thinking abt the situationship 😭#hope u figure stuff out anon! and if not i hope u have lots of fun!!! ♡#asks#anon

been trying to conjure the words for a while, but as someone who’s got family who’s also going through some really tough shit involving mental health work, i just wanna say i’m so sorry you lost your job—but you won’t ever have to work with these people again, at least!
definitely look into legal routes, don’t be afraid to ask for support, and don’t give up. and be sure to rest and recuperate, etc. ableism is insidious as fuck, but you can rise above the lows it throws your way!
(hopefully that all was worded somewhat gracefully. i just am so sorry you’re experiencing this shit, man. but you’ll make it out alive! ❤️)
You don't have to worry about wording things gracefully hon. I know you mean well and didn't see anything here that was warranted as an offense.
Thank you for the condolences. This is one thing I'm hanging onto, that I don't have to work with these people ever again.
I will do everything within my skillset and empathy to never dehumanize or treat anybody the way I was treated as a mental health provider. I'd like to think I do a good job of that already, creating a brave space for people, and this experience nailed it in that I won't allow myself to stoop to this level of being insidious as fuck to a human being.
I don't know the full context of what your family member is going through, but hearing that, I hope they get through the ordeal especially if they are dealing with folks who do not have their best interests in mind.
Thank you again for the condolences and for checking in 💙🫂
#still taking things a day at a time#ive had some other anons asking about donations and such#still working on the master post and i am struggling a bit when it comes to asking for help#im working through it and trying not to let this experience taint my trust that i have in people in general#its a very hard obstacle to get through#trust was one of the biggest obstacles i had when i underwent therapy cause years of abuse since childhood makes it difficult to form#connections without fear second guessing or assuming ill intention on the other persons part#this is the third or fourth job now where i've been thrown under a bus by people that claimed to have my back and valued my skills regardle#of disability and its hard not to fall into the mindset that no matter where i end up i'll always be treated less than and that i can't eve#give people an inch or they'll end up throwing me to the wolves#apologies for the mini rant trying to give more context to the situation especially for folks that don't know wtf is going on#hope you're well and thanks for checking in again hon

kurokumo hong lu blade lineage yi sang anon here. i must speak my truth. each of their dynamic with dante is so different and its so cute⁉️ with yi sang its teasing with a (not. subtle.) trace of lust....what color is pink pather you are so stupid taking my clothes off kinda way....but with hong lu its like omg!!!! hi!!! ^^ omg youre finally here!!! <- covered in blood. the type to say yippee!!! when dante praises him or something. uh. where was i going with this? oh yeah dantes like omg guys stop fighting!!! so hong lu n yi sang take one look at each other and start double teaming dant(i am forcibly dragged away from the facility)
ME PROTECTING U FROM THE PPL WHO WOULD DRAG U AWAY FROM THE FACILITY UOWJWOHSOAJSOWJOQJSOWNSO WHATS IT LIKE BEING A GENIUSSSSSSS 💥💥💥 ur so sick and crazy but I like it thank u anon ur feeding me delicious treats ^o^🫴🐴 like a horse with a sugar cube
i agree w that blade lineage yi sang characterisation so bad hes like a big cat thats batting dante around… toying w his food… just a silly… (dangerous)
my image of kurokumo hong lu is a little different kinda (?) to me he’s kind of less yippee! yay! than normal hong lu? more subdued? but simultaneously more affectionate to dante in specific… like… lcb hong lu is lonely but not aware of the specifics of it and seeking affection in general while kurokumo has identified that loneliness in himself and is specifically going in on dante … twink about to pounce… HE’S LIKE… the vicious predator who will only roll over for them~ lcb would be shocked if dante pet him (but still enjoy it) while kurokumo would bow his head and be like (waiting for his reward~♡)
also indeed they should double team dant- /SHOT
(idk how good they would be at sharing tho…) (🧐📝)

You could tie your hair in low bunches on the sides and then maybe braid the low bunches if you feel like it? That way sleeping on your back they're not uncomfortable and the hair isn't pulled!
Oh, that's actually a pretty good idea! If the braids don't work, I could probably try loosely twisting the bunches as well. Tonight, I'm going to be seeing the dog who likes to hop on my hair while I sleep, so this is perfect timing for me to test it out!
Thank you, anon!
#there are such good people in this world#its also nice to see people actually read my tags sometimes. im never sure lol#it took a surprisingly long time to find a thank you gif from the search but it was worth it because i found a cute dog gif#ive seen options for doing hair on the sides before that i never liked because they were always too high up#doing them lower would probably help a lot. and its an easy hair style to do#it works much better with my weird hair length as well since gravity will be more on my side this way than with a bun#you are a wonderful person anon! you spread goodness and light in every ask you send#thank you for taking the time out of your day to help me solve my silly problems#you are super appreciated! i cant send emojis on desktop but here are the best hearts i can offer <3 <3 <3 <3 <3#there is a way to send emojis on desktop but i think i disabled it because my cat kept using it lol#i hope you have a fantastic weekend and lots of rest (that is free from hair pulling lol) and sweet dreams#funny enough i was actually googling sleep hairstyles for a bit before you messaged me#and your recommendation is much better than anything i found on youtube#you are an angel and a life saver#neo answers#ask neo#angel in my askbox#beautiful anon#hair care#sleep hairstyles#hairstyle recommendation#gif warning

different anon.
my months-long chest pain that felt like maybe a muscle thing turned out to be costochondritis.
you may well have looked into that already, but mentioning it just in case. I hope you find an answer, cause I know the pain and worry.
ah man... it turns out i already have the wiki page for that bookmarked LMAO 😭😭😭 it seems like its a diagnosis of exclusion if im understanding correctly and doesnt really have a treatment besides wait for it to go away though </3 thank you though!!!!!
#in the case that it IS then its possible i wont ever actually know for sure and i just have to wait for it to go away rip#one of the listed treatments for it is to just manage symptoms with nsaids but. those havent helped me in the past#so idk if that makes it more or less likely tbh#but thank u! hope ur feeling better now <3#anon#ask
