everyone in piltover knows about the staff of their prestigious university. it's kind of common sense as the university is the pinnacle of everything.

but the interest of the professors was usually the highest. whether it was because of how good they were in terms of teaching.. or how hot they were.

Mumbos tired after a long day, and gets the idea to go to grian and ask him if he would mind eating him for the night, just so he can rest better. Grian, however, is also very tired after a long day, and he honestly doesnt want that responsibility right now. So the two of them, now wondering what to do and who to go to, slowly go to ask skizz if he would mind taking them. Safe to say, hes stoked. Im imagining grian and mumbo, eyebags and scruffed hair, stumbling down the stairs with a yawn, reluctantly asking skizz to do the honors, only to be met with the most energetic "YES" ever. Like hes all over the place "oh gosh! I cant believe i get to have two friends over for the night! This is awsome!- oh where did i put that (insert whatever is used to shrink people) again?? HOLD ON GRIAN- MUMBO- ILL BE RIGHT BACK-" as he dissapears into another room to collect whatever he needs. Its just funny thinking about him trying to go ahead and take care of the two while being so insanely energetic compared to grian and mumbo- who are probably just standing there half asleep waiting patiently to get some rest.

Skizz had been deeply concerned when his base mates approached him looking closer to zombies than living players. Mumbo, who—to be fair— usually looked sickly and tired, was flaunting dark circles beneath each eye and his tie was undone and hanging loosely around his neck. Grian looked little better, his usual red jumper wrinkled and his eyes seemed unfocused as his gaze wandered across Skizz’s form. 

But then they had muttered out that they wanted him to eat them and suddenly nothing meant more to him than the two figures standing there with him on their bridge. They wanted Skizz to eat them. He nearly knocked the two over as he grasped their hands with an emphatic “YES!” before bounding off shouting nonsense to no one in particular and rummaging through chests and barrels for a shrinking potion. He quickly tossed it into the brewing stand with a handful of gunpowder and stood bouncing on his heels as he watched bits of blaze float up and evaporate. 

Skizz watched from his peripheral as Grian and Mumbo meander into the base from outside, choosing to pause near the doorframe and simply observe the angel hype himself into a frenzy. It was genuinely endearing how excited he was just to hold them for the night. The brewing stand finished with a gentle bubbling, and Skizz barely waited for the sound to finish as he snatched the splash potion off of the table and guided the other Spanners over to their bed setup. 

Mumbo and Grian sat down next to each other on one of the beds, patiently gazing up at Skizz with tired eyes as he fidgeted with the potion in his hands. 

“You guys, like, really want me to do this, right? You don’t think-”

“Skizz. It’s fine. We trust you man. Now hurry up already, I’m absolutely spent.” Grian’s voice dripped with exasperation as he shifted his weight slightly, trying to keep himself upright as he felt himself melting into the mattress. 

“Right, right, sorry G, I’m goin’,” Skizz grinned and tossed the potion against the wall slightly above the two, letting the potion splash down over them both as the bottle disintegrated. By the time either of them had finished blinking the bubbles out of their eyes, Skizz had already strode over and scooped them each up in one hand, carrying them over to his own bed and situating himself down on it. 

“Ok,” Skizz beamed, “Who’s first?” Grian shrugged halfheartedly while Mumbo gestured in the avian’s direction with about as much energy as a slug. Skizz watched the redstoner yawn again, eyes drifting shut, and made a mental note to quell his enthusiasm for his sake- gently nodding an affirmation and lifting Grian carefully to his mouth.

“Great– good, alright– try to hold still, yeah? I don’t wanna accidentally nick ya’ or somethin’, ya’know?” He felt Grian give a sleepy nod and placed the avian inside, letting him rest softly on his tongue as he made sure the little form avoided his teeth. Skizz let his jaw click shut, pushing his friend towards the back of his throat and swallowing thickly. Grian went down surprisingly easy, and the angel couldn’t help but trace the weight down past his collarbone before remembering he still had Mumbo in his other hand, waiting patiently for his turn. 

Skizz was much faster to situate the other in his maw, slightly more determined to get the swallowing over with so the poor mustached man could actually rest. Mumbo was slightly larger than Grian and it took one extra swallow before he was fully in his throat, Skizz now being able to focus on the smaller of the two settling deep in his core as the other passed his heart. He giggled to himself as he felt Grian shift deeper into what he assumed was one of the folds of his stomach, resting a hand comfortably over his abdomen as he stood up to blow out the torches around the room.

By the time Skizz had shimmied himself under the covers of his bed, he could feel both of his teammates nestled softly near his heart, curled close to eachother and breathing slowly. He tried to slow his own breathing to match them, but every movement they made set his heart aflutter with warmth. They both trusted him so much! They- they were truly, deeply confident that Skizz would be the best, most comfortable place to rest. 

Skizz’s ‘protective-angely-instinct-whatevers’, as he had so dubbed them, were at an absolute high. He couldn’t keep his hands away from his stomach, even after he felt Mumbo push one of them away with a sleepy groan. It was like firecrackers under his skin every time he thought about them, tucked away, safe from everything there could possibly ever be to hurt them. Call him sappy or dramatic, but he loved these guys OK? He shifted onto his side, causing Grian and Mumbo to slide slightly, but they readjusted with little more than a yawn and Skizz took the opportunity to curl as much of himself as he could manage around his middle. He softly let out his own sleepy yawn before muttering a quiet “goodnight”.

“I love ya guys…” Skizz felt a slight movement, then a gentle pat against his stomach walls.“Love yah too, buddy.” “Yeah, g’night Skizz..” He smiled to himself, melting a bit more into the mattress. He was going to be teased relentlessly for this when the rest of ZiTS found out, but right now, full of two of his favorite people, he couldn’t bring himself to care.
