I need codependent Danny/Jason as a little treat (for me) and I love the idea of them having some sort of instant connection the moment they meet (bc ghost stuff idk)

Danny who's been dropped in Gotham with no way home (alt universe??) and he's been here for 36 hours and having a Very bad time senses a liminal being and immediately latches onto them heedless of the fact that his new best friend is shooting at some seedy guys in an alley and goes off about how stressed he is and how he can't make it back to the ghost zone and what a bad day he's been having (and it's important to note Danny is a littol ghost boy literally hanging off of Jason's neck as he floats aimlessly) and Jason is like "who are you??" And Danny is like "oh sorry I'm Danny lol" and then just continues lamenting his woes

And honestly ? This might as well happen. Nothing about this Danny guy(is he human?) gives Jason a bad vibe and tbh he's never felt more calm and level headed before so he just keeps up his usual Red Hood patrol and doesn't even think about it when he heads back to a safehouse and feeds Danny dinner (breakfast) before crashing for half the day

The only thing I actually need is Jason meeting up with the bats for some sort of Intel meeting and they're like "uhhh who's that" and Jason is like "that's Danny." And does not elaborate (very ".... What do you have there?" "A smoothie" vibes)

And it takes them a while to realize that these two have known each other for less than 12 hours and are literally attached at the hip

#very remora fish with a shark #jason todd #danny fenton #danny phantom #dpxdc #dp x dc #this isnt super important but i imagine Danny's ghost form as young and unaged from his death so jason is used to this small whispy kid #who just hangs off him and talks literally all the time #so when something comes up and someone is like 'idk if we can bring danny looking like... that' (glowing and a literal ghost)#danny is like 'oh ok u need a human? ok :)' and transforms #its been WEEKS #jason didn't know he could do that #nobody did #and now theres this 20ish dude standing there #human form danny doesn't talk a lot (anxiety) ghost form danny can't stop talking (anxiety)#could be a ship fic and at this point jason goes from 'where is my little buddy :(' to ��😳#i imagine theres a sort of feedback loop with them both feeding off of each other's ecto energies and vibes idk #so when danny is human its not as strong #batman is convince this strange entity is like hypnoyizing his son and like hes not WRONG #but it goes both ways #idk #i just need more codependency fics :(#i should go on a bender #ignore my 500 open tabs and go to town

I cannot express enough that if your reaction, as a hobby artist, to not getting that many notes on your art is to say "maybe I should just stop doing art altogether" you need to stop posting art to tumblr

not necessarily forever, not even for long, but just stop putting your art on here and start doing it for you again, remember why you enjoyed doing art in the first place and stop relying on the attention of faceless people on the internet for your enjoyment of your hard work

believe me, I get it, nothing crushes the artistic soul quite like labouring for hours on a piece only for it to get like 10 notes, so you need to find your own source of joy in the act of creation and a lot of the time that means making art and not showing it to anybody

I think the juxtaposition/gap moe comes through #for context theyre in the far future of the year 2092 about #and the majority of the crew are deeply involved with contemporary tech. half of them got body mods. one of them's a robot #riz is the navigator (fabian's the first captain and the one assembling the crew). he does everything on paper with a pencil #he has a school calculator from our current time. the crew's had to wrestle a comm link onto him #his translator link has been mutilated to stop all wireless transmission. he is also under 5 feet in height and looks Like That #I think its great that he honestly coheres very well despite all appearances. in every life possible it must be wild that he owns a gun #and also the idea of fabian slowly waking up to the realization that he's somewhat responsible for a buncha babies is awesome to me #good luck buddy. hold out for two more years and labour court will no longer be on ur ass

This has most definitely been said before, but we were robbed of the core four quarantining on-screen together at Buck’s place. ROBBED I say

#we could’ve had it all #henchim #bestieism and being exasperated by all the #buddie #shenanigans #canonically knowing the sleeping arrangements even tho I fully believe buddie shared Buck’s bed while henchim claimed the couch space and #someone (probs hen) thought ahead and brought an air mattress #hen and buck cooking for everyone bc chim and Eddie (at the time) couldn’t cook well #grocery shopping #but as arguments about everybody’s weird preferences #NO PRIVACY #so everybody is calling dibs on Buck’s balcony to have private conversations w their families #buddie calling Chris together and henchim side eying them but ultimately not saying anything bc it was a stressful time for all of them #carpooling to work together and fighting over the aux omgggg and fighting over the tv remote like real siblings #Bobby asking how the roomies are doing living together and everyone just eying each other with fondness or exasperation depending on the day #I know we got crumbs from buck and chim living together but it wasn’t enough I want MORE #the siblings dynamic would’ve been immaculate with the added weird romantic tension from buddie like ???#I can’t find many fics about this scenario but pls Rec any (especially if they’re tagged oddly plssss)#hen Wilson #chimney han #Eddie diaz #evan buckley #Bobby nash #Christopher diaz #quarantine #covid 19 #911 #9-1-1 #911 abc #9-1-1 abc

Tommy saying he has to leave after kissing Buck is something I have to talk about…

Because instead of just saying “yeah gotta go!” and leaving Buck to flounder and worry and feel used, Tommy does the opposite

Tommy wants to stick around, wants to be there, and wants to be with Buck. And he says so by the way he adjusts Buck’s shirt, by maintaining eye contact, explaining it, and Buck isn’t left to spiral right after the kiss.

And after Buck’s little “okay” that still holds a sense of awe and maybe not being super present (which can’t blame him, I mean have you seen Lou), Tommy still assures Buck of his place by asking for a date.

It’s all these things that add up to Tommy making sure Buck is a priority and Tommy will keep that as a promise.

Buck deals with abandonment and not feeling right in the world, and Tommy is there to say “hey, in this world, in my world, you can feel safe and free to be you.”
