The Forest For The Trees will not leave my brain I adore both the song and music video so very much. I want to make for art for it once July has passed since I’m a bit more focused on Artfight at the moment, but for now here’s what I suppose would be ‘sonas’ for this song.
Anyways. Love this song it’s already become very personal and important to me, and I have so many thoughts about the meanings, as well as the specific symbolism for these designs, but I do not feel the need to articulate them right now. Perhaps I will at another point

Today I, an aromantic, was getting ready to attend a wedding… with Stranger on repeat.

Okay, so a lot of people were wondering about this. I saw another post on tumblr (I'll link it in the replies since Tumblr can get iffy with links) about it and everyone under it was talking about how he got milkshake ducked. So I made my post because I thought it would be funny.
But to say it here, the guy who made Dj Crazy Times is tiktoker kylegordonisgreat. The ableism thing comes from him also creating the character No Fun Kid, which is allegedly making fun of autistic people.
The xenophobia thing comes from the Planet of the Bass tiktok itself. The song is sung with broken English, and since he's american, it can be argued that he's making fun of people who can't speak fluent English.

animatic update ive actually like dedicated a couple layers to lyric screenshots + breakdowns and plans for each one and thumbnails for some of the frames. this has made me realize quite clearly that i just do not ahve any ideas for the second bridge and chorus currently. so i might have to go rewatch the taiga movie or something so i can finish this project
