#of course we don't know the context but it seems an odd line to deliberately highlight without context#it feels quite jarring considering the depiction of sadness throughout her past several albums#it brings to mind renegade although that did have the overall message of 'i will stay and hold out my hand when you are in pieces'#whereas this is not a likeable line to me i guess?#not that she has to always be likeable in her songs of course but still just a strange one to highlight i feel#talking#taylor swift
