GENERAL DATING HEADCANONS
CHARACTERS: Eyeless Jack, Jeff the Killer, Gender Neutral Reader
Request. I wasn't sure if you meant Jack x Jeff. I stuck to separate SFW and NSFW headcanons. But you can send another ask to clarify! :)
CW: Explicit Sexual Content, But Also Romantic Fluffy Stuff, Blood, Self-Harm, Cannibalism, Biting, Not Graphic
NSFW UNDER CUT! MINORS DNI!
EYELESS JACK
SFW:
Jack doesn't feel as much empathy or sympathy as other people. It definitely takes a long time for him to warm up to you, let alone get comfortable enough to date you.
Jack is an outlier in the mansion. He likes being alone, doing his own thing. Plus, a lot of people don't like his bluntness and sarcasm.
His tar spills faster when he's upset, but it's pretty much gone when he's happy. That's why he hardly cries tar around you.
He has a hard time showing affection through his words, but you know he loves you. Sometimes, he just pops up and holds your hand, or wraps his arms around you.
When you're hurt, he tends to your wounds, cooks you warm meals, and stays by your side. It's a mutual silence where you're just enjoying each others' presence.
Jack is a bookworm. You spot the books he reads and you check them out. Jack is over the moon when you randomly reference his favourite book. "Did you really read that for me?"
Surprisingly, Jack talks a lot. He rants about his interests in gardening and science.
Speaking of gardening, he'll most definitely grow your favourite flowers for you. He'd give you handmade bouquets and flower crowns, as well as perfumes and scented candles.
Jack isn't against light–hearted teasing. He says flirty things just to catch you off guard since you aren't used to it. Most of these "flirty things" are phrases he heard from TV shows.
He does try to get you to try kidneys. If you refuse it because it's raw, he'll cook it for you. If you refuse it because it's gross, he'll shrug a shoulder and eat it himself.
NSFW:
Jack is gentle with you. He knows how much smaller you are in comparison, so he makes sure he doesn't bruise you.
If you allow it, he'll bite you enough to draw blood, but nothing more.
His ears are sensitive! Licking or biting them gets him all worked up.
Jack has three tongues that overlap in his mouth, meaning he's a fucking demon with oral sex. His tongues squirm inside of you, hitting all the right spots. He could eat you out for hours before substituting his tongues for his cock.
When he sees you're close, he only fucks you harder.
Jack's cock doesn't fit inside you all the way. Your senses leave you, and you're a drooling, blubbering mess as he rams into your entrance.
After you're done, he'll clean up any blood that spilled and kiss your bite marks. While cuddling, he asks you what you want to eat. He'll cook anything for you.
JEFF THE KILLER
SFW:
Jeff lives in the mansion and has been living there since he was 17. Before that, he lived with a blind old woman who thought he was her grandson.
Dating him means you're going to have to get used to his angry outbursts until he learns how to control them better. He tends to lash out and then apologise later. You're sure with enough patience, things might get better. Especially because you know he's trying his best.
He loves emo music. In fact, he collects merchandise from the concerts he sneaks into. At night, you get to cuddle with Jeff while some emo song blasts on his speaker.
He also plays the electric guitar and would love to teach you how to play. And if you already know how to play, he'll get really excited about duetting with you.
Jeff has had self-esteem issues since the incident. He tries everything to make himself "beautiful", taking extensive care of his skin, hair and clothes.
He believes the scar makes him look better, maybe because it distracts from other parts of his face he's insecure about. He refreshes his cut every month.
You have to remind him that he's beautiful just the way he is. There are nights where you argue over it, but you try everything you can to help him overcome his insecurities — or at least accept his flaws.
He has a knife collection. He paints the handles of his knives all different colours. Some days, you could sit and talk with Jeff while you paint knife handles together.
"Can I test the sharpness on you?" "What?" "...I'm joking."
Jeff isn't a good cook. He never put time into learning how to cook. You, knowing he has to learn at some point, convince him you're on a "cooking date" whenever you want to teach him how to make a meal.
NSFW:
I already have a NSFW post for Jeff, but these are softer alternatives for when he's in a relationship.
Known fact: Jeff will use his knife during sex. He enjoys grazing it across your skin, smiling at your "cute" reactions.
The tip of the knife scratches your thighs. Your legs twitch as he looks into your eyes with a needy look.
Jeff likes seeing your desperation. He loves it when you grind against him, begging for his cock. He'll keep his hands off you, forcing you to grind helplessly. "Horny little bitch... Yeah, tell me how much you want me."
He fucks you at a rough, unstable rhythm as he tries to reach his peak. When he's in the zone, it's only his orgasm that matters to him.
Jeff mutters profanities under his breath with almost every thrust. It's a mixture of praise and degradation. "Fuck... D–Damn slut... You feel so fucking good..."
For aftercare, he doesn't do much. Just small things like giving you water and cuddling with you in bed. It's simple and it's nice.
!!! i'm very sorry if you meant "jack x jeff"! feel free to let me know in another ask, though!

Uncanny X-Men #4 FROM THE ASHES
Just going with raw thoughts here. Spoilers, of course.
Yikes
- We keep flashing back to the whirlwind romance of Sarah and Charles.
- I assume up there is its end.
- Either she's also a psychic or has some power stealing ability. Chuck was shown under Cerebro last issue and she tore off after the Outliers. So either she needed to know how to use it or she borrowed Chuck/Philip's telepathy. More on this.
- The pregnancy. They've been together a month which is not 'too soon' to know, assuming they had sex immediately, at least with 2024 knowledge. We know Chuck fought in the Korean War 1950-53 after Oxford so this is 1949 at the earliest, but who knows with comic book time. Not sure what pregnancy detection was like back then, though there's not much wiggle room to say definitively from a missed period.
- Neither baby trap nor woman scorned are especially great beats to use for a rounded villain, and I feel like they're trying hard to rehabilitate Chuck, so having him run out on a baby mama would not be a positive move.
- I'm getting the impression she's either a mutant or a supernatural being of some kind. 'I knew in that instant' makes the most sense to me if that's true.
When we last left the homeless team Logan had left for the same reason he always does - he feels like he shouldn't be around people. Me too buddy. It's getting a bit old to me he's just dealt with this in his solo which is implied to be a flashback/take place before Uncanny.
- Rogue 'knows' he's in trouble and exactly where he is. They act like it's a mystery but it's pretty obvious Chuck is behind this, or a psychic. Law of narrative economy says Chuck.
She's right.
- Are either of those true? I honestly can't remember early Rogue that well.
- I have to assume we're toning down his healing factor this era. Good good, though he should be acting differently.
Rogue doesn't have final girl instincts, that's for sure. I know comic books need fights but teams also need leaders. Rogue is not looking all that competent. Her leadership kinda needs to be shown to us and new readers.
- Rogue hits harder than Logan but he's a lot more durable and lethal. You have a teleporter. Just leave!
- Going with my earlier mutant/supernatural being theory, she's really got a one track mind. 'Motherhood' is not much of a personality. Bit surprising from Gail Simone tbh.
- Krakoa mention! Pretty sure Kurt is referring to the WHR Krakoa AKA we're not seeing it anytime soon. Kurt and Logan were the two biggest skeptics of Krakoa with Logan never trusting it so I'm just going to say this is straight up out of character. Kurt might say it to someone else but definitely not to Logan. Sigh.
Are these folks actually stressed here? He's survived a lot worse casually.
There she goes sniffing the 'childlessness' on Rogue. It's feeling kinda gross and uncomfortable to me at this point. Even a cisnorm tradwife demon or whatever surely has other interests.
- Same goes for Kurt. We know he likes God, despite coming off a huge crisis of faith on Krakoa. Dude has other interests. After that priest misfire in #1 I'd like something else. Personality. 4 issues feels like enough to say that Gail Simone doesn't know how to write Nightcrawler. This is basic shit and maybe she should have used a new character. She clearly wants the Rogue book but the familial relationship with Kurt is recent and not strong.
She's saying a lot without giving us much here, except the implication of magic.
- 10 has some magical significance, such as association with death and rebirth, the universe, perfection and power, transformation and divinity in humans.
- They're already out from Charles' thumb. Some impressive topographic knowledge there though.
- Okay then.
- Brian is Charles' father's name. It wouldn't surprise me if that was significant here. I don't want it to be, but...
- I might be missing something here but aside from vibes this asks more questions than it answers. Confirms the supernatural being theory, though this looks like a death/trauma rebirth as opposed to 'born that way.' Maybe she was chosen.
- Surprisingly candid though.
Get fucked Jubilee. You're not the last X-Men. Delusional.
- Logan has a healing factor. He doesn't really need Jubilee.
- Uh huh. Eldritch knights? I don't know and Gail doesn't want to tell us right now. That's fine.
-These 'X-men' are planning a raid on Graymalkin but they're looking like they'd struggle raiding a pantry. Cyclops has a point here, and considering the assessment of the kids was 'they don't fight as a team, they just attack' that applies to everyone here.
- I bet the Eye of Agamotto gets used next issue. That's a Chekhov's Gun that needs to go off and Gambit won't pull his weight much otherwise tbh. Seems unlikely Rogue is winning that fight solo and the team pulling together as a team using all resources would be a nice W for them. A sorely needed one.
- I feel like this had pacing issues more than anything. The Rogue fight was a bit repetitive and nobody is using their head. If we get a second wind into a win next issue that's not going to feel earned or satisfying. Characters should make mistakes. They've been punished for them, now we need to see a regroup and display of what makes them a team. What makes Rogue a leader and what makes them X-Men.
- When they fought the Outliers in issue two they were inexplicably losing and then they just won. I don't want that again. Tension has been established and a promise made - several promises even - we need to stop treading water and pay that off.
- A bit meh overall for the flagship book, but I have my biases. What did you think?

it's after halloween but trick or treat anyway here you go:
flattenings of john as a character, specifically the "deadbeat dad" accusations or referring to alecto's creation as "male gaze-y." he is a demonstrably involved and gentle parent the instant he learns he's got a kid; the issue is not that he's a deadbeat so much as that he set up a society where parenthood and authority are positions of naturalized abuse. Like, he's doing everything right on the surface, it's just that you can't be a good parent and also a god-emperor. You can't help your kid connect with her culture and ancestry when you killed all her ancestors and erased their culture; you can't let your kid inherit what you have when you're never going to die and she's already dead; you can't give her what she wants and have that be healthy when what she wants is a position in the army you run. but fuck if he's not trying to. from a surface level view, he's doing everything right! and calling alecto barbie male gaze-y eliminates the role of larger systems in literally everything john has ever done. is it not so much more satisfying for it to be a completely innocuous and even childish act that still ends up defiling a woman's body because the defilement of women's bodies is so baked into everything that an act as simple as "taking comfort in childhood toys when you're stressed" has the potential to be harmful? He's fucked up, for sure, but like. damn if the ways he's fucked up in canon aren't way more interesting than half the takes.
okay so tridentariicest totally has textual backing and i love that folks explore that, but i also feel like the sexual element of their whole deal is given way too much spotlight. what about all the other totally horrifying aspects of their relationship? there's so many good god diversify it a bit.
kiriona meta that either makes her out to be completely different or completely the same as gideon. this side of her always existed and she is fundamentally changed. if i talk about this too much longer i will write an essay because every time i think about kiriona for a second too long an essay happens but moral of the story she's one of those Characters I'm Correct About and i am sososotired.
buddy youve already written an essay lmfao anyway treat: i like hearing peoples opinions. ive already mentioned my opinions on kiriona and john before (TLDR this has always been gideon and people change/imperialism misogyny and classism is baked into the society john grew up in and it continues to exist as he made this new society). tcest grosses me out on a general level but it Is there in tlt and it annoys me when people boil it down to "oh isnt it so problematic when twins kiss are you offended" instead of exploring how the third house encouraged codependency and fused identity, coronas desperation to be needed vs ianthes desperation to be acknowledged and seen blahblahblah theres just more interesting ways you could explore text within a series about the horrors and unhealthiness of love instead of jacking into a sock about it

Intro Post, updated March 1, 2023
I post all asks under the name they were submitted under, and I post them when I feel like answering them. I will never honor a request to answer an ask privately or anonymously. Anon is never turned on. These are hard self-care boundaries. Please block the tag "harassment tag" if you don't want to be subjected to some of the horrible shit I get sent sometimes.
If you like what I do, please consider hiring me, consider buying something from NerdyKeppie (the shop I own with my spouse - we do custom work!), consider buying me a coffee or becoming a Patron or tossing some money in my PayPal tip jar. I am a disabled, queer, fat, Jewish non-binary butch whose entire income is derived from selling Quality Queerwear via our company NerdyKeppie (we also offer patches of all sorts, nerd gear, etc -- if you don’t see it, ask!), Patreon (queer fiction for a dollar) and freelance work.
If asking me to boost a post for you, ask at most once per week, and please don't make that the only way you interact with me, or follow me just to send an ask that I boost your posts. I notice, and I'll end up just blocking you if you make me feel "used." It's gross, y'all. I'm glad to help, but don't use me. It's getting to a point where I'm starting to feel pretty gross about it, and I'm one of the more relaxed ppl about boosting posts, so please don't put me in a position where I feel like I have to stop doing it.
I will not debate my identity or its history with anyone. I am a transmasculine non-binary butch lesbian, a cripple, a dyke, and lots of other things, too. You don't get a vote in that, and if any of those words are words you can't stand to have someone use around you in reference to himself, go ahead and block me. I won't censor my identity for your comfort; I took a long time becoming proud of who I am.
No, I am not an anti or an anti-anti. Literally no one cares about these distinctions outside of Tumblr. Please leave me alone. I am not going to have that conversation. No is a complete sentence.
I’m not interested in interacting with TWERFs, SWERFs, or any sort of exclusionary LGBTQ/queer people. Y'all are exhausting.
Do the work to root out TERF/2nd-wave "man bad woman good" philosophies from your head. Do the work to root out the gendered behavior you were taught. I am not here to raise other people's children.
I am not here to raise other people's children. My daughter is an adult and I am done being responsible for the experiences of a minor. If you read or interact with me, you acknowledge that you chose to do that and I can't control what happens to what I post once I post it on my Tumblr. People will reblog it and I can't control where it ends up. I can only control what I say in my space, which I do.
Curate your own online experiences. If you don't like seeing what I write, then add 'vaspider' to your "filtered content" list and don't bother me about it. Tumblr is a 17+ environment and I am not responsible for you seeing things you don't like. Adults having adult conversations do not need to be filtered for children. This is your notification.
I’ve been Out for over 30 years. I don't tolerate lectures from strangers, especially people half my age, about history I lived through.
I'm transmasc and if you believe transmisandry/transandrophobia aren't "real things," or that transmascs aren't "really oppressed," please just leave me alone. Oppression Olympics are bad, actually.
My immediate family consists of my partners, my adult daughter, and our dogs.
No one in my immediate family is cis or het. I have been called Spider for 20+ years, & now a lot of people call me Mama Spider. Mom is a role, it need not be gendered.
This is a lot shorter than it used to be. I don't really feel like posting paragraphs explaining stuff anymore.
My icon has lore, apparently.
I post all asks and anon is never turned on.

Okay, so I accidentally thought about Stage Productions of Dr. Horrible Where There’s Not Enough Male Actors So Billy is Played By a Woman too hard again. And the thing is, well, I say ‘Stage Productions of Dr. Horrible Where There’s Not Enough Male Actors So Billy is Played By a Woman’ and not, like, ‘Female!Billy Productions’ because in all of the ones I’ve seen the script is unchanged and so the character is still textually a man. Super-minor characters like the Mayor and the two Newscasters or even Bad Horse can sometimes get genderswapped, but usually the kind of people dedicated enough to DHSAB to want to create their own recreation of it don’t want to change the script too much. So Billy remains gendered the same way he is in the original.
But also… Dr. Horrible isn’t gendered that much in the text of the script. Like, he gets talked about in third-person way less often than the other two leads (so there’s less places where he would be called he/him/himself), he’s not referred to using gendered terms as often as the two other leads, ‘Billy’ can work as a gender-neutral name and ‘Dr. Horrible’ is 100% gender-neutral. As such, the only textual references to Dr. Horrible being a dude are:
Refers to himself as a guy in ‘My Freeze Ray’: ‘I’m the guy who makes it real/the feelings you don’t dare to feel’
Refers to himself as a man in the title line of ‘A Man’s Gotta Do’
Moist calls him a man in the line ‘look at me, Man, I’m Moist!’
Refers to himself as a guy in ‘Brand New Day’, ‘Go ahead and laugh/Yeah I’m a funny guy!’
The one time Dr. Horrible is called by a third person pronoun is during ‘So They Say’, when Moist notes that ‘he’s still not picking up’
During ‘Everything You Ever’, he sings ‘My victory’s complete/so hail to the king’. Implicitly calling himself a ‘king’.
So, like, what that means is that if a production did just want to genderswap Billy… it’ll be considerably easier than doing it with either of the other two leads. There’s basically just a few lines you have to change and basically nothing else.
Like, ‘I’m the gal who makes it real’ is really a no-brainer. ‘a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do’ is an Idiom and I could see a woman quoting it without it meaning anything. (And in a pinch you can replace it with the gender-neutral ‘one’s gotta do what one’s gotta do' or maybe 'I've gotta do what I've gotta do').
“He’s still not picking up” often gets cut from stage reworks of ‘So They Say’ anyways or swapped for something like ‘Doc’s still not picking up’ to make it clear who’s Moist talking to without the Magic the Kuleshov Effect Really. The only line that offers any meaningful challenge is in ‘Brand New Day’ and 'Everything You Ever' cause that use of ‘guy’ and 'king' is part of a rhyme, but I still feel like it’s not the toughest one to solve.
… of course, I keep saying the three main characters because Moist isn’t actually gendered once in the entire script. So basically every time a production gets a girl to play Moist that Moist has a Gender Quantum Position.
But, with all due respect to Moist and their Quantum Gender, that’s just not a change I find as interesting as the possibility of a Female Billy. Like, hey! We’ve got a second female character who is not primarily defined through her romantic relationships and survives through the end of the narrative and has a kind of a Gross Power you don’t really see for a female super-character, that’s… kinda neat. But I don’t really think there’s anything in here that really shakes the basic thematic undercurrents of the movie the way Female Billy does. Female Billy has a really the highest rate of Implied Changes to the Meaning of the Text Caused by the Change Vs. Actual Changes Required to the Text
Because, okay, look… Would making Dr. Horrible a woman fix every single thematic problem people have with the DHSAB Narrative forever and ever and make it the Politically Perfect-est Musical Ever? Nah. Does it arguably create its own set of problems with the whole Tragic Toxic Lesbian Trope? Yeah…
But that’s why I’m advocating for it not as some sort of Remake that’s gonna be the New Definitive Version That Fixes Everything, but as a stage production. A new version that exists in the Kaleidoscopic Multiverse of takes that the stage inherently creates. Not Ultimate, not Definitive, not ‘The’ version. Just A Version I think should exist. Because even if it’s not a change that’ll Fix Everything, it’s still gonna change things in a way I, personally, find very Compelling.
And I was thinking, as part of this train of thought, that if I were to do Lesbian Billy, that for Penny’s role, I would try and cast a girl with a very butch and/or nonconformist haircut. Cause, like, at the start, the one line Billy wants to tell Penny is
And that way you can connect it with how nonconformist hairstyles are used as a way to communicate queerness to other queer people with some plausible deniability from Mainstream Society. So it’s not just that it helps explain ‘oh, that’s why Billy even assumes her attraction could be mutual’, wanting to tell Penny that she loves her hair is a whole thing of
Or rather, because it’s Billy, more like
So that’s another layer of Added Thematic Meaning just via casting choices, without changing anything about the exact text of the script!
And, you know, charity, compassion and kindness are not Exclusively Feminine Traits. Penny could be kinda gender-nonconformist while also being innocent and maybe a bit naive. And, y’know, she’s a damsel in distress when compared to the characters who have super-strength and super-science at their disposal.
And then I thought, well, maybe we can also show Penny dressing more feminine during her time dating Captain Hammer, so there’s kind of an unspoken implication to the audience that maybe CH is pressuring her into being more gender-conformiming. Which isn’t just a New Way in Which Captain Hammer is terrible, it also connects with how he, as a superhero, functions as an upholder of the status que that Billy is trying to upends (and again, it makes ‘love your hair!’ an actually Really Important Line! It’s Billy showing that, even if her attraction right now is kinda shallow. She is appreciating something about Penny that is her choice and CH is probably trying to take away from her.)
And, like, even in readings of the DHSAB narrative that try and make it as critical of Billy as possible, you always kind hit a snug that there is also an unspoken but present assumption, that while Billy does kinda suck, he could’ve been a good romantic partner to Penny if he just Got Over His Shit and is still always better than Captain Hammer despite… not really doing a good job establishing why.
So this thread does give at least one clear reason for why Captain Hammer is absolutely worse for Penny than Billy is, without necessarily letting Billy off the hook for all the way she does still kinda Suck.
You know, since we’re talking about changing as little of the actual dialogue as possible, the audience might not be able to tell if Penny is an out-and-proud Bi woman and Captain Hammer is pressuring her to be less Obviously Queer or if she still hasn’t fully processed that her affinity towards gender-nonconformity is also somewhat connected to her sexuality and the whole debacle is her shoving herself deeper into the closet… but I think that if the audience notice Penny suddenly changing into girlier clothing after she starts getting close to Captain Hammer that’ll be enough to create a visceral “Oh, this guy is BAD” reaction of sort.
Plus, like, the way the narrative kinda treats Penny slowly sobering up to Captain Hammer’s bullshit and realizing she’s not actually in love with him
is treated as interchangeable with the process of her gradually falling in love with Billy
that would hit as less Weird, at least thematically, if we have that thread of Captain Hammer representing, like, Heteronormativity and the Patriarchy Billy and Penny both being girls....
And that’s when I came to realization
of what I was actually doing.

op could you elaborate on the she/her muriel thing. because i totally get what you mean but i find it so hard to articulate why... its just like. mmmmm. canon they/them character. but you wont respect their prns. but then again i enjoy when people get genderwierd w the ineffable spouses. would you respect my prns if you cant even respect a fictional character. is that the same thing. idk.
hi anon! i'll try best to elaborate, but apologies in advance if it comes off a bit... intense?
to give some context to my words:
i am nonbinary
i am afab
my pronouns are they/them
most everyone with the exception of close friends and people on the internet misgender me with she/her pronouns because they perceive me as a woman.
i think the root of it for me is that muriel has no experience interacting with earth, let alone humans, before they're sent down to be Inspector Constable. and because they have no experience with humans, they most definitely have very little context for the human construct that is gender. muriel's pronouns are they/them because those are the default gender neutral pronouns in english. muriel (like the other angels and demons) is referred to with they/them pronouns because, for all intents and purposes, they don't have gender.
whereas aziraphale and crowley (and even gabriel to a certain extent) have interfaced with humanity enough to have developed some level of understanding regarding gender, and possibly even an understanding of what they want their gender to be/be perceived as.
additionally, crowley and aziraphale play with gender in a way that feels very intentional to me.
crowley has canonically, in the show, presented femme. meta writers far more skilled than me have examined how, during the crucifixion scene, crowley is very obviously dressed more like the women in the background than the men. and it's not just in the historical flashbacks that we see crowley's genderfuckery. his modern look is comprised of a combination of femme and masc pieces. he wears a woman's cut waistcoat and his "11 years ago" look features women's sunglasses. all while inhabiting a decidedly man-shaped body.
i'm also just going to remind the audience that crowley outright denies being "a lad" in season 2. he straight up told us he's not A Dude.
aziraphale's genderfuckery is definitely less obvious and some might say debatable. that being said, i would make the argument that aziraphale's tendency to dress and present in a way that results in him being almost universally perceived as not only A Gay Man, but an effeminate gay man at that, is a quintessential example of gender as performance. and i do believe that aziraphale is making a very conscious and deliberate choice to present as a gay man. for fuck's sake he calls himself THE Southern Pansy, he knows what he's doing.
also, i know it didn't actually happen, but we almost got both of them presenting femme in the 60s so like. there's that too.
so, to me, it's ok to fuck around with crowley and aziraphale's genders in fanfic and art and the like because they do so canonically. the book makes it very clear that they are "man-shaped" but not necessarily men, ie they have chosen bodies that are perceived as being A Gender but that doesn't mean they technically are.
whereas muriel does not. muriel doesn't have a concept of gender because they haven't been on earth or around humans long enough to develop one. they are only ever referred to with gender neutral language. so it just feels really gross to me when people choose to she/her them. because to me it feels like saying "well this body that appears woman-shaped to me must mean they are a woman" which is a sentiment i, unfortunately, know all too well.
muriel is a character that is canonically referred to with they/them pronouns, on a major TV show on a major streaming platform no less. so it really fucking sucks to see people disregard that because they "can't remember to they/them muriel" or because they "seem like they use she/her."
to put it bluntly, every single argument i've ever read in favor of she/her-ing muriel has boiled down to "i just can't be bothered to remember they use they/them" and if you can't use a fictional characters pronouns correctly then i have zero faith you can use a real person's pronouns correctly. all i hear when i read those arguments is "i can't be fucked to do the bare minimum of gendering trans people correctly."
and lastly, i know it's genderfuckery when people she/her aziraphale and crowley because they're "man shaped" in the book and played by male actors in the show. but i don't have much faith that it's genderfuckery when people she/her muriel because i can almost guarentee it happens for no other reason than the fact that Quelin Sepulveda is a woman.
#wow that got long really fast#i hope this provided some amount of insight and wasn't too confusing#asks#my asks#answered asks#good omens#muriel#muriel good omens#kind of good omens meta

Keeley made out with a woman on TV last night and the show tag is full of some of the most mean-spirited bad faith intra-fandom reactions to reactions and it’s so fucking disappointing to me.
Multiple things can be true at the same time?!?!
For the people who are annoyed that the “Keeley’s been bi this whole time” crowd is sad that people are taking the events of 3x5 as the only confirmation of her queerness…consider where that sadness might be coming from. Of course seeing Keeley making out with a woman is something to celebrate! Of course it’s a relief to see Keeley not only talk about attraction to women but actually pursue said attraction before our very eyes! But to say any of the previous textual references to her queerness weren’t good enough is to perpetuate the very same bi erasure that makes it so challenging for many queer people—of many orientations, and especially bi/pan orientations—to be taken seriously. It’s an understandable sadness, being reminded over and over that many fans of a TV show reflect a lot of the “real life” dynamics that make people feel less-than-queer when they’re single, or if they haven’t had same-gender experiences, or if they’re currently dating someone who isn’t same-gender.
For the people who are annoyed that the “Keeley is finally a confirmed queer character with a queer storyline” crowd are erasing the jokes and textual and subtextual queer references that came before…consider where that relief might be coming from. Of course the jokes and references were real and realistic! Of course they were valid parts of Keeley’s story, and would be valid even if she never kissed a woman onscreen! But queer people have been burned so many times by “representation” that never pans out, or feels totally flat and inauthentic, or is performed by people who are suddenly wooden actors who lack chemistry with their same-gender counterpart. It’s an understandable relief to see Keeley unequivocally experiencing real-time attraction to a woman who is available for her to explore that with.
You’re all correct. It’s true that Keeley’s bisexuality is a part of her one hundred percent of the time, including moments when she is literally in the middle of having sex with Roy, and she will always be the first character on Ted Lasso to express overt queer attraction. It’s also true that in a TV landscape in which queer stories are under-delivered and frequently disappoint queer audiences, the events of 3x5 are powerful and significant and add a very important new level to Keeley’s characterization.
I am so grossed out and sad that instead of celebrating a queer character’s decision to pursue a queer hookup (that is ethically complex! and takes place at an emotionally tangled time in her life! and is hot! and fun! and might end badly! and reflects real life in its messiness and hungriness!) for the many, many reasons fans might want to celebrate it, this storyline has become an opportunity for fans to ridicule each other about being fans in the “wrong” way, doing queerness in the “wrong” way, etc. For me personally, I’ve felt like Keeley was canonically bi this entire time and it did my heart good to see her pursue a hookup with another woman. Not everyone will feel the same way about it, and that’s okay.

The Gaylor Issue: An Attempt at Nuance from a Very Tired Queer
I feel like the Gaylor issue is so divisive and polarizing in the Swiftie fandom. I want to make space for nuance, acceptance, and a more relaxed conversation. And I want to make space for fans who don’t fit on either extreme end of the issue.
On one side, you have diehard Gaylors who insist that Taylor is OBVIOUSLY gay and that all her “boyfriends,” including Joe, have been beards. See also: Kaylor, Swiftgron, etc.
On the other side, you have the people who insist that Gaylors are delusional, her relationship with Joe is real, and Taylor is nothing more than an ally to the LGBTQ community. Side note: I really dislike the term “hetlor” because a) it feels mean and gross when said in a demeaning way, and b) believing she’s straight is the default so I feel like giving them their own term is in the realm of “straight pride.”
Sprinkled between these camps are the people who say stuff like, “It’s weird and gross to speculate about real people’s sexuality. Taylor is a private person and it isn’t our place to talk about her love life.” Or, “Speculating about people’s queerness is bad because it forces people out of the closet before they’re ready.” Which is very kind.
I feel like I don’t fit into either of these three groups.
Saying “Taylor’s relationship with Joe is fake” feels really dismissive of bisexuality. Bi people are the biggest segment of the LGBTQ community and somehow it seems like people forget they exist because they float in that middle ground. When we view the world through binaries, bi people seem like they’re full of contradictions. But, like all people, bi people just contain multitudes.
Saying Taylor is straight seems downright ridiculous, at least to me. The most obvious, “no heterosexual explanation for this” pieces of evidence are: the song Paris, the lyric “I swear you could hear a hairpin drop,” the 13 in northern Michigan in the Lavender Haze music video, and the idea that gay pride “makes me ME.” Here are some things I believe to be true: 1) If Taylor Swift were straight, she’d be too good of an ally to queerbait, and 2) Taylor Swift is too smart/well-read to make queer references accidentally.
The thing about the “don’t speculate about her personal life” argument is that speculating about Taylor Swift’s personal life pays her bills. Yes, she’s making and selling art. But she has chosen a life in the spotlight. She has consciously decided to sell her [personhood, brand, name, soul, whatever you want to call it]. She has chosen NOT to “take the money and her dignity and get the hell out.” She COULD choose the rose garden over Madison Square. But every day, she chooses not to. On the one hand, this “don’t speculate” argument is very noble. But there’s some part of me that wonders if the folks in this camp see themselves as potential future friends of Taylor and think that being speculative ruins their chances at that, ruins their chances of attending a secret session, etc. It’s sweet and kind AND it feels a little “pick me.” Here are some things I believe to be true: 1) If Taylor Swift were straight, she wouldn’t be offended that people think she is queer. 2) If Taylor Swift is queer, she’s not offended that people think she is queer.
And then there’s this weird, in-between camp that I fall into. Personally, I think Taylor Swift is a queer woman who is currently in a legitimate, long term relationship with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Do I think that she had relations of some kind with Karlie Kloss? Yeah, probably! Do I think that she is afraid to come out for fear of outing past lovers? Yeah, probably! Do I think she is afraid to come out for fear of alienating part of her fanbase? Yeah, probably! Do I think she is afraid to come out because she feels like her current relationship with a man will “delegitimize” her queerness? Definitely.
I want a label for people who have this opinion, because I see SO much hatred toward “Gaylors” from “Hetlors” and vice versa. I feel like I have a nuanced, reasonable, rational take on the situation. And I want to be able to communicate this nuanced take with a label.
Here are my suggestions.
Nuance Gaylor
Pro-Joe Gaylor
We Contain Multitudes Gaylor
Gaylor (Joe’s Version)
Please don’t be mad at me Gaylor
Anyway, thank you for reading this. Please feel free to chime in but please don’t send me hate mail.

Some Palia crumbs and gut feelings I need to type out
Okay so I met the last “villager” I had left to meet yesterday(as I fell asleep while typing this). Tamala. I didn’t even like her in the promo art, and I had to go to her cause she never comes to town. I knew from promo stuff, she was an adult, a potion maker, and Hassian’s ex, so I was willing to be like some of my initial ick was jealousy. She just gives me SUCH bad vibes.
Like vililan vibes. And I’m intrigued but she grosses me off. Then my mind goes “If all magic is bad then does she even do dark magic if ALL magic is dark? And all you know now is that she does beauty and youth-ew, we will get there- potions.”
But she gives bad news vibes like sirens. Like there’s a reason she’s forced into the northern parts of Bahari Bay and none of the villagers dare to go to the north. Not even Hassian or Hodari who live in the Bay.
And we know it wasn’t always like that-Hassian and Tamala. They were lovers. And he’s a young adult. How young? Idk. I feel like 23/24ish. He feels like middle of the young adult age group characters. Kenyatta and Nai’o feels like the youngest, and Jel and Reth seem the oldest to me. Tamala is classified as adult and looks, idk, 30s, early 30s, and probably spun a web, but I saw in Discord she referred to an event 40 years ago, so she’s what, 45? 50? 60? Like how old was she 40 years ago is the question. (They clearly classified her by her appearence, smart)
So she;s idk how old and seduced the young hunter from the village-red flag. And she uses potions to hide her true age-red flag. And in our daily chat she was like, charming potions are so nice. They compliment you so much/hang onto every word you say/smth. And I’m just like. Angry. Cause is that what you did with Hassian, Tamala? Potioned him into “loving” you? Cause That’s so fucking noncon. Crosses so many lines. And it’s just like-Disguising.
If my gut feeling is right. That whatever they had was dressed up in potions of youth and charm and was never real at all but felt real-felt real enough. Like I grew up on Speak Now enough to know when to say “Alexa play Dear John.” Ow. I can see Hassian and Sifuu having a falling out over this gorgeous woman in the “my mother accused me of losing my mind but I swore I was fine.” Because they’re both so much more… fire…. Than Taylor and Andrea. Like full blowout argument, they don’t talk for weeks. Until Hassian realized it was all pretend and he’s broken and going home and mom doesn’t say I told you so like he’s picturing, but just has hugs and cuddles when the tears comes and it feels likes it’ll never be okay again but that’s…
And Reth once told me Hassian plays cards with Auni? Why? To keep an eye on him? So she can’t sink her claws into a child next? How often does Hodari thank the dragon that Najuma would never have any interest in witches promises beauty and love potions? Is part of why Jina can’t move the red tape an inch because Hassian accidentally moved them and touched magic too intimately?
Idk. Just theorizing some gut feelings and crumbs. I don’t expect the game to delve into any serious shit like this-doesn’t mean we can’t. Also it’s not going to anger as many people cause it’s younger man/older woman vs the other way around. I’m very well aware of that. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t gross me out.
So now I’m like. Tamala will clearly move the plot forward and I want to know what I can gleam from her. And my character doesn’t know about her and Hassian or anything. She just knows her as the recluse who makes potions in north Bahari Bay and she doesn’t like her but is also intrigued. I’m intrigued but enraged and I don’t like how she is. I also don’t like how Taylor put Mean after Dear John on Speak Now. Fucking whiplash.
We’ll see. I just needed to get this out. I am thrilled to write it though but as a game character I do not want to interact with Tamala. And there’s people who romance her??? Well, I imprinted on Hassian and I don’t typically like the goth witchy types so…
#palia#hassian#tamala#going to be so much fun to write though#but she’s a witch#in my mind i take kenyatta or jina or nai’o when i cross into her land

I guess I probably should make a pinned post at some point, so here were go.
I'm Ivy, (not my birth name but people call me this,) a lesbian, a softly masc/butch presenting cis woman (she/her), a domme, a top, and a sadist. This is a sideblog on its own account, so I can follow and like under this name, but occasionally I disappear for days/weeks when I'm logged into the other one. Don't worry, I'll be back.
This blog is 18+ only. Not 18? Do not follow or interact. No ifs ands or buts about it. I'm not interested and I will be annoyed (and not in a fun way) if I find out otherwise.
I'm not going to be as aggressively policing men in my follows, likes, or reblogs. Its fine, especially if i write something fun. But I'm not interested at all. Keep it respectful, don't say overly gendered things in reblogs and we cool.
Terfs Fuck Off.
If you're trying to get me to flirt or talk dirty at you, call me sir (the lowercase is important, Sir is reserved for real relationships.) Otherwise call me Ivy, "hey" or just don't refer to me with a name, its whatever. Don't talk down to me, I'm not interested. I don't particularly like master, daddy, mistress or others, they don't feel right.
I don't do raceplay, detrans/dykebreaking, sissies, bathroom stuff, footplay, ageplay, or serious violence of any sort, even hypothetical.
I'm not a furry, though not to the point of revulsion like the above.
I'm pretty bad at tagging things that aren't my original posts. You may see degradation and humiliation, sadism, some light hypno and brainwashing, pet play and the like. You may see some CNC play but I guarantee you will not see me use or reblog content with the hard R form of that.
I edge slightly into misogyny play, almost ignorable if you're not into it, but I try to tag that as butch patriarchy. This may also include suggestions that I can "fix" straight women and other gross orientation play things of that nature. It's just kink, I'm not seriously promoting this.
I like correcting brats but it doesn't work very well on the internet, especially with strangers. Don't expect a lot.
Don't tell me you came to something I wrote, you can tell me that you want to cum to it, but finishing up is wrong.
That's all I got for now.

im transfem/nonbinary and honestly the whole cutesy uwu anime girl puppy girl aesthetic is making me feel ill. i recently got harrassed by a cis woman chaser who saw the transflag in my bio and started talking to me in this really weird overly cutesy way and started flirting with me, i told her im taken and not interested and this is weird and she said something like "oki u silly transie, if u ever need a girly to do something for you im here, cuz nornal girls are boring" and then the next day she sent me some image of some anime girl w/ the caption "im not like other girls, i have a massive cock" and asked "this u?" and she was so weird and gross and overly cutesy. and like the fact im trans is part of me and im proud of it but i want to be seen as me, as a person, as smthn beyond arbitrary boxes. thats why im nonbinary, i dont wanna be forced into some made up vague perception of how i have to be and instead just be me and do my own thing. i dont label my sexuality either but im pretty sure im like pretty aromantic. greyromantic or whatever its called. and my sexuality i kinda tie together with my romantic attraction, so its often incredibly odd to me how prevalent sexual language and stuff is online and how weirdly its treated as smthn normal, especially in more queer communities. and when i feel terrible and get support online, ppl will say ooo ur pretty ooo ur cute dont be sad and downplay it when i need someone to talk to qnd need to be acknoledged beyond how i physically am, it makes me feel rlly objectified and like my only value is in the fact that i am trans and how i look, and its my only thing and the only way ppl refer to me and boil me down to. but i dont want to be some cutesy meme girl, i want ppl to acknowledge me and what i do and like and love and enjoy and hate and dislike and think and say, i want to be seen and understood regardless of and beyond my transness. because im a raw, living breathing human person thats infinitely complex, and i just wanna be me and do what i enjoy. i dont want my personality boiled down to superficial aspects of me that exists solely because outside society needed a label for it to ostrasize or fetishize it. im sorry for the long rant its just rlly frustrating, especially when you try to find communities and its just so weirdly sexual and condescending and objectifying 😭
hey unfortunately, i do not have the mental capacity to be able to read all of this and actually respond to it, i just lose 80% of the ask once I'm finished reading, so I'll just say: damn fuck that cis bitch.
While i get that after your experiences this "aesthetic" might make you feel ill, i really don't see why i should be told this.
I do not choose the way i present to other people because it's what i feel i should look or act like, i act however feels good to me. the reason my blog looks like this is because, put simply, i like it.
I may not be just a puppy, girl or gay, in fact the most accurate way to describe me would be "thing that should not be alive as far as anyone knows, but it persists, it's also a puppy that is a girl, a robot, a void and divine flesh"
but i go with my current aesthetic, username, and whatever else because they're the descriptions I'm most confident in, they make me feel nice, i love them.
I am quite literally a tranny girl faggot that acts like a puppy sometimes.
Sometimes i feel like I'm a shattered vessel built of divine flesh that's empty and yet so completely full.
Sometimes i wish my flesh melted away, permanently fusing me with the outer shell of a mech.
None of my identities are fully separate or stable, but they also feel distinct enough that i only choose one at a time (and even then sometimes they can split apart).
I don't act like this because i wanna be "haha silly cute trans girl that's an adorable puppy and is so so overly sexual", it's just what i act like, in general, if I don't worry about pretending to be someone else.
I guess put simply: if you don't like me: fucking leave, block me, get rid of me, i won't hold it against you, I'll continue to do what i like, the way i like doing it, because this is my blog.
i forgot where i was going with this post, y'all just get this really long one i guess.

Anti-Snape propaganda: his whole reasoning for opposing wizard fascism was ‘oh no, my tragically unrequited crush (who hates me because I called her a slur when she was trying to help me and cruelly married a man who bullied me in highschool) might be in danger!’ If Lily was a Pureblood, he would have no reason not to stay a Death Eater. He’s the one who puts her life in danger in the first place, while spying for the mass-murdering blood supremacist, and he only feels regret and switches sides when it affects him personally.
(In addition, it’s highly insinuated that there was more to the end of the friendship than Snape calling Lily a slur, although, you know, that’s reason enough. She mentions that he’s already hanging out with future death eaters who make her uncomfortable, which definitely presents the possibility he’s already entrenched in the gross racist views whether or not he likes her personally).
This is the quote where he goes to Dumbledore:
“The — the prophecy . . . the prediction . . . Trelawney . . .”
“Ah, yes. How much did you relay to Lord Voldemort?”
“Everything — everything I heard! That is why — it is for that reason — he thinks it means Lily Evans!”
“The prophecy did not refer to a woman. It spoke of a boy born at the end of July —”
“You know what I mean! He thinks it means her son, he is going to hunt her down — kill them all —”
“If she means so much to you, surely Lord Voldemort will spare her? Could you not ask for mercy for the mother, in exchange for the son?”
“I have — I have asked him —”
“You disgust me.”
Yeah, he was totally cool with trading away the lives of his high school bully and his supposed true love’s newborn baby (who she died for! But he cares so much about her happiness, right?) as long as he got to keep Lily Potter like a muggleborn pet. Because let’s be honest, muggleborns weren’t considered equals by the Death Eaters, and I can’t imagine the woman who sacrificed herself to save her child’s life would be super fine with just letting her family be slaughtered in exchange for ‘mercy.’ How would he deal with her horrified trauma? Would he be keeping her under lock and key, or…? I think it’s reasonable to assume some pretty fucked-up implications for the whole ‘I asked the Dark Lord’ comment.
Also, lots of people justify his creepy sadman act (where he used his academic authority to bully the abused orphan who dared to be related to his highschool bully) by saying he was abused and bullied himself, like that doesn’t make it worse? He knows what that’s like, and he inflicts that pain on others, while remaining constantly self-pitying. Additionally, as though his motivation for actively trying to make the eleven year old orphan’s life miserable wasn’t stupid enough, Harry is absolutely not the only one he treats this way. He torments a ton of Gryffindors over the years, so either he just enjoys preying on the weak, like Neville (who in no way resembles James Potter, and whose family life was ruined in part due to the prophecy Snape revealed), or he’s taken his childhood bullying trauma to the next level by assigning it to a quarter of the school population! I’m not saying getting bullied isn’t terrible. It’s very traumatising in some instances and I do feel sympathy for his experiences. But Snape is not a sympathetic figure or hero to bullied children, he’s just a hypocritical self-pitying incel who wilfully plays straight into the circle of generational trauma. If anything, the fact that Harry didn’t grow up to bully children who reminded him of Snape makes him the true champion here.
Sorry, this is stupidly long. I guess I have a lot of repressed rage about the TERFiest of books and how much crap I’ve heard justifying poor writing in the past.

How can you say that Sakura is the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto, where you have to do a double take? I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, and your overall bias for Sakura was made very evident. And then bringing up canon moments where she was called beautiful as if that is supposed to change the viewer's perspective of her beauty. Bella Hadid was named the most beautiful woman in the world by scientists but I know plenty of people who find other women like Adriana Lima and Margot Robbie more beautiful.
There are scenes like Ino's introduction during Sasuke shinden's anime adaptation (she looked much more beautiful than sakura), hinata during her talk with iruka in the sunset, or even the introduction of the raikage's assistant mabui. Yes, beauty is very much subjective but I feel that you should at least try to not be biased for once lmfao. I can't believe you can't call Ino beautiful without reducing her beauty to "sex appeal" all because you hate that Sakura's character design is simply not better or prettier than hers. Then you went on and made that thread where you talked about genin sakura's (a 12 year old) ass..ugh. gross. look up sakura haruno boruto settei sheet, she's flat in the butt. you can try and catch her at an angle but who tf cares, in reality her character's design doesn't have a big butt. Tall and lean is fine too.
When did I ever say that Sakura is "the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto"? I dare you to highlight exactly where I said that. I am very aware of what I have or haven't said, and I know that not once did I ever say that Anon, so don't make shit up. This is the one and only time I'm even gonna bother putting any effort into answering bullshit like this, because an Anon like you who can't even speak publicly isn't even worth the time to prove this nonsense.
Now then, let me educate you on a few things about me since you clearly just have an agenda against me, and don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Firstly, I have said many times, that I actually think that Kurenai was the most attractive woman in the series, or at the very least, the one who was mostly my type. And yet you're here claiming that I apparently said that Sakura is "the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto"? Get your facts straight.
In this post, I clarified that I didn't have a straight answer for who I thought the most beautiful girl was, but I then revealed that Kurenai was the one who was most my type, and how I was also fond of Anko and Konan's designs, not Sakura.
I only reiterated this point during this post, where I also revealed that Anko and Konan were in 2nd and 3rd places respectively. So again, not Sakura.
I gave further explanations for the above during this post.
In this post, I answered that if I were to date someone in the Narutoverse, it would again be between Anko, Konan and Kurenai, but I ultimately went with Anko at the time due to her personality.
In this post a little over 3 years later, my opinion had somewhat changed, and when asked who I would marry, I selected either Kurenai or Hanabi. Again, not Sakura.
And yet, you're here claiming that I have some form of apparent deep bias for Sakura? Know who you're talking to before making these stupid assertions. Otherwise, if the person you're accusing actually knows and remembers what they say, they'll very easily be able to expose your ignorance, as I have just done.
Secondly, not once did I ever reduce Ino's beauty to sex appeal. I'm assuming you're referring to this post. In which case, not only did I once again reiterate that I actually found Kurenai to be the most attractive woman in the series because she was mostly my type, but I did not say that Ino's sex appeal was all she had. I clarified that if we were ranking them based solely on their sex appeal, then Ino would top my list. But that clearly does not mean that I don't find her beautiful or that she had nothing other than her sex appeal. I literally only said that I probably found her to be the sexiest woman in the series, that's it. It's actually amazing how you can take what is very clearly me giving Ino a very big compliment, and desperately try to twist it into something negative due to your juvenile agenda against me. It's not going to work.
Thirdly, during that same post, I clarified that in terms of the written material, I found Sakura's depictions specifically from Sakura Hiden, to be the most beautiful depictions of any woman in the series. That was my opinion on the matter. I still find Kurenai to be the most attractive, but I cannot deny that Sakura was drawn beautifully for Sakura Hiden.
I reiterated that during this post, where not only did I list Ino first among the list of kunoichi who I found to be really beautiful (shocking right???), not only did I reiterate once again that I found Kurenai to be the most attractive because she was the one who was most my type, but I clarified that the most beautiful portrayal of a female character I had seen in the series, were Sakura's specific depictions for Sakura Hiden, nothing more.
I said the same thing during this post.
And what do you glean from that? That I apparently said that "Sakura is the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto!". Fucking hell man.
Fourthly...
And then bringing up canon moments where she was called beautiful as if that is supposed to change the viewer's perspective of her beauty.
When did I say anything about how that should change anyone's opinions on the matter? Especially when as I have already proven multiple times above, I find Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be personally more attractive than Sakura? You're just spouting such nonsense, and you're ignoring the context of why I brought up who was stated to be beautiful in the series. It's because it is the only objective metric we have to see who's physical attractiveness was highlighted the most in the series. Therefore, in terms of the amount of compliments to their physical attractiveness, canonically speaking, Sakura ranks 2nd in the series, behind only Sasuke. Does that change the fact that I consider Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be more attractive? No.
Lastly, with regards to the post I made highlighting Sakura's ass, the Anon sent me that ask in response to this ignorant Anon trying to put Sakura down while elevating Hinata, and said that Hinata had more of an ass than Sakura, and tried to further put Sakura down by claiming that she apparently has a flat ass, just like you're trying to do here. So I made that post proving that yes, Sakura does have an ass, and catching her at angles isn't necessary to prove that. I also love how you tried to shame me by saying how I was talking about a 12 year old's ass (as if the majority of it wasn't about her Part 2 and adult self), while completely missing the entire point of the post. I was simply proving a point, so blame the Anon (and others like you) who try to put Sakura down by claiming how she's flat in all areas. Because without such ignorant posts, then a post like my response would have never been needed.
Now then, I'll say this once more - know your audience before accusing them of anything, because I always know what I say, and I can always prove it. So you're not gonna get away with accusing me of bullshit. Now I don't know what kind of agenda you have against me, or why you were so triggered by me praising Sakura's depiction for Sakura Hiden, but get over it because I always found Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be the most attractive women in Naruto.

I think it's fair for people to be disappointed when there HAVE been generic but benign statements from some of the driver + the feelings I've seen are more directly at F1 as a whole than, idk, Bottas or whomever. The one everyone is really attacking is Danny who 1) IS a native english speaker and 2) HAS doubled down. I don't think any of these guys are going to lose a wink of sleep because someone on tumblr is bitter, anyway
(and So many F1 journalists and fans are ESL. there's a difference between eloquence and substance of a reply, and "english is their third language!" feels a bit like coddling tbh.)
okay sure. I've already spoken about how Daniels comments, both about this and in previous years, are fucking gross.
I was talking specifically about yesterday's press conference because that's what I've seen others speaking about, F1 as a whole has handled this situation in the worst possible way and has gone well backwards in creating safe spaces for women. not denying that.
do I expect better from them all? yes. am I upset and disappointed in their responses? absolutely. do I, as a woman, feel like formula 1 will never be a safe space for me? ever since the day I started watching.
do I also understand that there are a whole range of factors that may have led to them not wanting to talk about it, or the wrong things being said? yes. because two things can be true at once
I'm not trying to make excuses, or coddle them, I can see why it might be taken that way so i apologise. just offering a different perspective. I work in an industry where I'm not allowed to so much as reference certain things no matter how generic because if I do, my comments could be taken out of context and plastered all over the news and I'd lose my livelihood. it sucks. it happens all the time in every career.

I've just found out about the 9 hole sign and Harry's reaction and stuff like that a) grosses me out and b) makes me think I misjudge Harry's character because why would he entertain that?
sorry this is late because i was busy today and didn't know what you were referring to, but now i figured it out! and sorry in advance if this gets long because i do find the topic interesting.
so basically, i don't think anyone's character should be judged based on how they react to strangers sexualizing them, honestly. he's overall in a VERY weird position, being a celebrity that is considered a sex symbol to a lot of people and having strangers talk about him/to him sexually often since he was a teenager. it's nearly constant, and i imagine there's a fair bit of desensitization that happens where he isn't going to be purely upset/angry/disgusted every time he sees a fan inferring sexual shit about him because it's so common and it might be emotionally exhausting to take it to heart every time it happens when it happens so often. and sometimes he might just find something funny.
with people in the public eye, i imagine in order to not be miserable, you have to practice a fair bit of mentally separating yourself and your self image from what people say about you- both the bad and the good- because there is a lot coming at you from strangers every single day and you can't take all that seriously since they don't actually know you. so there's a point where he probably just looks at signs and internet comments relatively neutrally, and sometimes he might just think something is a clever pun or a funny joke and reacts as such, and that doesn't actually mean it's saying anything about his personality or what he likes or that he wants to fuck the person with the sign or that he is "encouraging" sexualization. sometimes he just makes eye contact with a sign and reacts and that's that. he can react however he wants to in that weird ass position he is in and the overt sexualization he has experienced through his life and that is sometimes placed in his eye line. i find bringing sexual signs to concerts to be awkward and inappropriate since i would never hurl personal sexual statements at a random stranger, but i'm not gonna get mad at the person those signs are directed at for reacting in whichever way they end up reacting. some celebrities might be upset every time it happens, some might not care at all, and others might fall somewhere in-between, and they all can react however they want since they are the subject of these awkward interactions with strangers, not us.
like... in my brief time trying to find this video, i saw a bunch of people saying things like "he now can't say he hates sexualization when he acts like this!!!!!!" which i honestly find quite gross. two things can be true at once- he could have reacted positively to a sexual sign AND he might not like being overly sexualized and considered a womanizer. i might, in an awkward on-the-spot moment, laugh along with a dude who made a sexual joke at me, but that wouldn't automatically mean i invite people to make sexual jokes about me. and two other things can also be true at once- people can view sexual signs at concerts to be inappropriate AND harry might not be that personally affected by them. i don't actually know if he feels personally affected by any of them- maybe he is, maybe he isn't, and maybe he is sometimes but not other times, but however he feels about sexual signs on a personal level, your own opinions can be separate from that without saying he is encouraging his own sexualization.

PREFACE
{Please read post}
There are things out there in the world that are after us. Ever since THEY showed up, I've been interested in the strange and unusual. I've been keeping a couple of journals. One's a personal journal about my life, and the other's a secondary journal about my findings.
When that spindly fuck attacked, I used the opportunity to bug out with Dakota and Trinity, leaving the only person I could trust behind to fight the damn thing.
I can't say our whereabouts. Even though this contract hides us, I can't risk it.
DISC0RD, I'm sorry.
I feel awful, but my kids come first.

{Ground Rules}
No NSFW, Unless Gore: This blog is about a woman and her two kids. Don't be gross. I'll eat you (/srs).
Be a Decent Entity: I don't care if you're human or creature, don't be racist or anything.
Give Me Time to Answer: I have a life. I make videos and have a large family (9 People + 1 Rabbit), therefore I can get busy. At the same time, I don't have a job, so I still have some free time.
The Briefing Policy: If you usually send asks anonymously and I see you sent something in with anon off (or if you're missing a couple words), I'll DM you to confirm whether or not you meant to do that. Trust me, I get it. Been there, done that.
