IT GIRL GUIDES

What does it mean to be an IT girl? For me it's to have a balance between all the aspects of your life, to do everything you're interested in without burning yourself out and to be effortlessly elegant, calm and, composed. My idea of an IT girl is a person who's social, sporty, smart, with an artistic side to them, a person who has a sense of identity in who they are. How can one achieve all of these? Well that's exactly what I'll be explaining in this post!

1. MASTERING SOCIAL INTERACTIONS

One thing that I've noticed about all IT girls is that they're never afraid to go up to someone and strike up a conversation. They don't have that fear of being 'awkward' or being perceived as 'weird'. So, the next time you want to be friends with someone or get a conversation started, just do it. Compliment their outfit, talk about a book they're reading , talk about the weather or the traffic or whatever you want to talk about. Keep in mind that building your social skills also involves being a good listener so instead of making the conversation all about you, just take a moment to listen to the other person as well. It's crazy how many people miss out on so many great, life changing experiences they could have had just because they were afraid to make the first move.

2. FINDING YOUR SPORT

Engaging in a sport is great for your physical and mental health + it gets your body fit and strong. Step 1: Try out a bunch of different sports and choose one that fits you best. I recommend choosing one or two because more than that can lead to you struggling to balance it all but definitely go for it if you're confident that you'll be able to do it. Step 2: Practice, Practice, Practice. Be consistent in your sport and practice regularly. Take breaks when needed in order to avoid injury and most importantly, just go with the flow. Don't get so worked up about perfecting or mastering anything right now, remember, we're learning right now. Step 3: Once you get pretty good at it, enroll in competitions, tournaments, etc. as they can be a great way to assess what level you are at and what you can improve. Although you may face a few failures, it'll be fine as long as you take them as lessons and choose a better perspective.

3.EXCELING ACADEMICALLY

Listen, I'm not good at academics at all and I'm pretty average myself so the tips that I give doesn't necessarily have to work for everyone. The first and most crucial step in exceling in academics is to practice time management. Allocate different times for when you're gonna study each subject and work on each task. Next is to revise through whatever you learned to help you solidify information in long-term memory. Pay attention when the teacher is teaching and always, always, always clear you doubts in class instead of keeping it for later. Along with this, staying organized and finding a study group can further enhance your approach and offer a different perspective. It's also important to keep in mind that too much studying can cause burnouts and other undesired things so make sure you have a balanced lifestyle to avoid that.

4. CULTIVATING YOUR ARTISTIC SIDE

There's nothing more sophisticated than being a person who has a taste for and can also execute an art skill. Art can be of various forms, it could be form of dance, a musical instrument, a persons ability to capture something on a page through drawing or painting, etc. Developing and learning an art is not an easy feat and requires dedication and consistency. One needs to be willing to experiment with different types of Art to find one that suits them and once they do, tremendous practice is needed to become good at it. But let me tell you it's all worth it, knowing that you're good at something that you're interested in and working on it. It's also a proud feeling to tell someone that you practice an art. A few key things to keep in mind are to go at your own pace and just enjoy the process, rushing yourself could burn you out and I personally found it hard to go back from that phase.

A/n: I've had a good but also bad week (good thanks to @puff0o0 and other extremely sweet mutuals), it's neutral, I'm not here to rant of any sort but my personal life has not been good. I understand that not everyone will like me but it feels as though everyone hates me, most of those people happen to be at school. Sure I'm not really going to do anything about it because I prefer avoiding conflict but those same people are trying to flip the story around as if I'm the one who hates them when in reality I don't and by being mean to me they're giving me a reason to dislike them. Sure I'm average academically, sometimes I have difficulty pulling my weight in group works and I'm not outstanding in reportings but we all have our difficulties. I just don't understand people who love to hate on others because they have nothing better to do.

This is a word of advice to everyone, don't let others let you feel insignificant, you aren't and you have many talents that make you different from them. (I don't really practice what I preach because I love self-deprication, however I don't want people to feel the way I do because I know what it can cause)

He was so used to the smell of hospitals, the smell of medication, it always indicated death for him but this was a whole new feeling. It was the opposite of what he has seen most of his life

The baby was so small that it's little head was practically the size of his palm, he didn't know initially what to do when the baby cried and shocked himself when he managed to make them stop.

Once the baby was old enough to crawl, he'd let the baby crawl all over him. The little one babbling non-sense while he just chuckled and replied as if he understood what the baby was saying. Gods be damned if he misses an important milestone such as their first word or their first time walking.

You'd often wake up to seeing him shirtless snoozing on the couch, the tv playing only ads for home appliances late at night while the baby only in a diaper having skin to skin contact with their dad, his huge hand big enough to support the little one from falling.

He almost cried the first time your baby reached for his face an touched it, resting it's tiny little fingers on his cheek, giving him a gummy smile. His little one unaware that they just healed something they never broke.

He NEVER wants to ever see your little one grow up, though sure it makes more memories with them, sometimes they just wish time stops for a second so they can enjoy the moment longer.

Initially was terrified that he'd pass his trauma down but he realized that wouldn't be possible and he will NOT ever let them go through what he did.

Eventually chose to resign from his work because the risk was far too much, what if he died? He'd leave you and your child to grieve over him? He won't be there for them growing up and he'd miss everything.

Sure he's worked most his life to get where he is now but nothing is ever worth more than spending a lifetime with you and your child together. He's been lonely almost all his life until he met you.

You are his family, his everything. He promised that whatever happens, he'll crawl home to you...

Soooo I noticed a lot of people ranking and writing their opinions on which Ateez members were on the top and bottom of their hierarchy so I wanted to share mine cause I feel like there is a lot I don't see on them much but I love reading them nonetheless. So here’s mine

Most dominant - Most submissive

This is mainly focused on dom and submissive not so much top and bottom because i think with certain members they all can cave (I will happily attach a masterlist to this and elaborate with short fics of each ship if you guys want)

Yeosang: Dominant - Switch but mainly top

BEFORE ANYONE COMES AT ME I put Yeosang at the top because I see him as the kinkiest member; let me elaborate. We all know what they say about the shy quiet people well then I don’t see why Yeosang is always so low on the hierarchy. He is definitely sadistic and how he always walks around the dorm naked?!?! He can also put them in their place though like if Wooyoung can’t stop teasing him especially one day you can bet it will end with him shaking and trembling in his bed.

Mingi: Another service switch

So, I had come up with a Gravity Falls x Arcane AU, which I had called Arcane Falls AU, and I want to make some art about it but I don't have the motivation which is KILLING MEEEEEE. I'm gonna expand on the idea here more, so prepare for yapping!

Ok, so, I tried to keep the characters the same age. For example, Pacifica, Dipper, Mabel, Mermando are all 17 because here because in GF they're all the same age. But unfortunately I had to age up/down a couple of characters for the sake of the plot.

So, Grenda will be in Sevika's place, although I didn't want to age her up too much so she can still have some in commons with Mabel. She got a job in Ford's business at a kinda young age (early 20's) so in the plot she would be somewhere in her late 20's. She wouldn't have any harsh feelings towards Mabel- well, Star, despite being the reason she lost her arm, because she understands she was just a kid who didn't mean to hurt anyone. She'd be cold and stern with people during work to appear more threatening but once she's inside with people she feels comfortable with (or in a pub), then WOOOO, the party animal's out! That being said, Candy will take Isha's place (😈) and I will keep her 12/13 like she was in the show. I just wanted the girls to form a semblance of their og friend group like in the show. :)

I mentioned Fiddleford in the original post but I don't remember clarifying his place in the AU. He will be in Signed's place. In the AU, Tate got terribly sick, which then turned out that sickness was terminal, and Fiddleford had then started working on the prototype for shimmer. Tate was sick before the plot happened and then was pronounced dead, a funeral happened, Fiddleford dag his grave to retrieve his body, and yeah. •-• (that would explain his deteriorating mental state even more tbh). So when Ford said that they need something to make the Zaunites stronger than the Enforcers, well, Fiddleford already had a prototype. It was useless anyway. It might as well serve a cause. And with some adjustments to fit more into Ford's image, it became the perfect serum (I just thought that Fiddleford going full mad scientist was pretty in character and in episode 1 he literally built a giant death robot to get his son's attention so just imagine what he would do if Tate was DEAD). In this AU he wouldn't use the memory gun because he would be afraid of forgetting how to make the shimmer for Tate. So to make sure he never indulged in that habit again he took it apart and used the parts for other creations like weapons and robots. For the sake of his son. Also after Tate died him and Emma-May had a divorce (Fiddleford kinda had an affair with Ford before all that shit happened so Tate dying was the cherry on top).

I think I made it somewhat clear in the original post, but in case y'all didn't get it, Mermando is in Ekko's place. (is it only me who still ships Mabel and Mermando?😭) I think the place where he created the Fireflies would also have water, because, a place with a small lake with clean water and a big, healthy tree? Hell yeah! (I still wanted to keep some of Mermando's merman things on him, so I decided to give him a small lake). Once the tree started to get poisoned due to Hextech it would also be a danger to the lake because the tree's roots are in the lake.

After season 2 act 1 events happen, Dipper wouldn't go out and fight. Because, unlike Vi, Dipper is not really the one to initiate a fight, especially when he isn't in danger. Despite growing up in Steelwater where if you weren't strong enough to fight you were practically dead, as I said, he only fights when he's in danger. Initiating fights is the least logical thing to do, unless you have a death wish! Instead of taking part in pit fights, he would go to a library and just... Read. He would read. Because as long as his brain is already occupied, he wouldn't have to think! He wouldn't be left with his thoughts. How could Pacifica abandon him like he was nothing?The librarian would feel sorry for him, a young kid who's obviously going through a tough time, so kind of them for setting up a small room for him and letting him use the shower! And maybe for a change, he would go to some bars at night and drink. His time in Steelwater has roughened him up in appearance so he looks older than 17. He's not that scrawny anymore and he DEFINITELY doesn't have noodle arms now! Which results? In an older-looking appearance! And the reason why he dyed his hair black would be so that he doesn't look like he's related to that... That awful person!

Bill, despite being disabled, wouldn't be on the brink of death, at least not because of his disability. The reason he would start testing the hexcore on himself would be because Steve was SUCH a coward! They have been working on hextech for YEARS, just for him to throw that opportunity out?! Oh it was that pink Yordle's fault, wasn't it??? They got into his head. He knew STEVE should be the assistant, not him!!! Just because it was STEVE'S idea, it doesn't mean he's capable of handling that responsibility!!! He wasn't a coward! He wasn't afraid of risks!!!! So he started testing the hexcore on himself. He had to see the effects it would have on the human body. Maybe that way they could expand it even more! Find out just how much more it can do! And the hexcore seemed to really like his blood. It was so scary, it was exciting!!! But... It was slowly killing him. Logic said that he should stop. But when has he ever been logical? NEVER! Ironic though, isn't it? The thing killing him is the very same thing that'll save him after the explosion. When Bill starts the cult it's gonna have more cult-y vibes because of the statues of himself and how the people in the sanctuary would call him "Herald " or "Lord" (per Bill's demand). He wouldn't cure people just to make them healthy again, he couldn't care less about that! But more sick people meant even more followers! When the twins (plus Candy) brought in Warwick/Stan, at first Bill wanted to heal him just to gain one more follower. But his mind was... Wow. So broken and twisted, it was honestly making him low-key apprehensive every time he went into his head, half expecting he would get a punch into his good eye. When he gets his "glorious evolution" he's gonna be going by the name "One-Eyed Herald" (I gotta make a sketch of him as that). I just think the whole cult thing Viktor created was such a Bill thing to do, considering he has created cults in the past.

Bill had met Fiddleford wayyy back, before his parents died, when he was just a kid. Bill liked the mad scientist stuff he was doing and the experiments he seemed to be doing on a raccoon. Until it got WAY out of hand (it was after Tate's funeral).

I think that's it so far. I have come up with Dipper and Mabel's designs for the final battle and I have Bill's One-Eyed Herald design in my head. Gotta start drawing these at some point.🥲 Unrelated, but I can't think of people to replace Mel and Ambessa. At first I thought I should put Pyronica in Mel's place but then I remembered Ambessa's existence so maybe she'll take Sky's place instead. Maybe Gideon and Bud? But I don't really like thattttt...😭 It has been bothering me for some time now, any suggestions would be great. :)

Geoff meets Jack when she's in her final year in vet school. She's working at a seedy bar, early in her transition, so she knows the worst of the worst in Achievement City. When Geoff rolls in, they immediately get along, and he respects her in a way no one has before. He starts talking about his dreams of making his own crew to clean up the city, to rule it in a way where the people are protected, from the cops, from other gangs, and she's sold.

Meanwhile, Ray and Michael meet when they're teenagers/young adults (around 18/19), both having moved to AC because it's cheap and it's somewhere that isn't home. They quickly get sucked into the life of crime to make a living for themselves. Ray's deadly woth a sniper, and Michael took to demolitions like it was second nature. They become mercs and start to get a name for themselves.

Jeremy is a retired boxer. He gets badly hurt during a fight, and he's told he's never going to box again. In need of money, he becomes muscle for hite for any crews who need him, and picks up weaponry rather quickly. He gives himself the moniker Rimmy Tim for fun, and it ends up sticking.

They all work with Geoff for a while before he decides they're the crew that he wants, they'd be perfect. They all get along with each other, they work well together, and every one is down to go along with Geoff's hairbrained schemes.

Meanwhile, Gavin is over in England with Dan. They're a two-man crew, and neither seem keen to join a larger group. Dan sticks mostly to being the muscle and weapons expert, Gavin ends up learning how to do... everything else. Stealth, negotiations, snipjng, but especially Hacking. Gavin and Dam end up in some really hot water, and Gavin is forced to leave the country.

Gavin moves to AC and gets right back into the swing of things. He needs money, why not take up jobs he knows he can do? Unfortunately, this has the side effect of messing up the Fakes' plans, and, well... they aren't happy. (I won't go too much into depth about that because... spoilers for a fic I'm working on)

Geoff is the best cook out of the main crew, and ends up the defacto chef whenever they eat together. Jack is good at cooking, but she doesn't enjoy it as much as Geoff does, sl she lets him do it most of the time. Michael can cook, he just doesn't bother because he has Geoff and Jack to.

Ray, Jeremy, and Gavin are NOT allowed to cook. They're lucky to be allowed into the kitchen at all. The three of them when not at the penthouse live off of prepackaged food, ramen, and take-out. They can't cook to save their lives. It's a travesty.

The last time the three of them tried to cook while the other three were out, well... they ended up setting a pan on fire. And then panicked like sims about it, which caught more of the kitchen on fire. When the others got home, they tried to lie about it, as if Jeremy wasn't holding a fire extinguisher, and as if there weren't scorch marks on the ceiling. Geoff was pissed.

Michael is honestly the only motherfucker to clean the penthouse. Geoff gets mad and tries to make the mess-maker clean it, which means it doesn't get cleaned, which means Michael ends up cleaning when he gets upset at the mess.

While they all tend to destroy things and make messes because they like to throw things and play stupid games like The Floor Is Lava, Gavin is by far the worst. His mess is mostly contained to his areas, but don't give him anything throwable, or breakable, or that can smash things, because he will cause trouble.

Trevor eventually gets wrangled into helping clean, mostly so he can 'beautify' things, but also because he's afraid Michael might actually kill him if he doesn't help.

Gavin likes to make stupid dares and challenges. Geoff, Michael, and Jeremy fall prey to these most often. Geoff because he can't say no to any dare, from anyone. The second someone sahs, "I bet..." or "I dare you..." he's already doing it. Michael and Jeremy just can't say no to Gav. Well, they can, but they immediately turn around and do whatever he asks.

Uno is banned from the penthouse. The last time they played it went on for three hours and Jack, Jeremy, Gavin, and Geoff wanted to kill each other or themselves. Ray and Michael just watched from the sidelines and reveled in their loss of sanity.

Gavin and Michael are neighbors! Michael's appartment is directly across the hall from Gavin's, much to his chagrin in the beginning.

Ray and Jeremy live about a 5 minute walk from each other, 10 minute drive from Michael and Gavin, and a 7-and-a-half minute drive from the Penthouse.

Jack and Geoff live full-time at the penthouse. They sometimes find it a little lonely, but then they remember how chaotic everyone is, and decide they enjoy the peace.

I don’t want it to seem like I’m trying to be hateful towards you. I don’t think it’s fair to blame James for his and Lily’s death: whole victim blaming isn’t right. Voldemort was winning the war and the walls were closing in. Peter wasn’t just some friend - and it wasn’t only Peter that James was trusting. Lily and Sirius agree to Peter. Sirius was the one who came up with the plan. I feel like that goes beyond James and his moral views. His brother and wife also agree to Peter, wouldn’t that greatly impact James’s opinion? Yes, Remus, years after and harden by grief, thinks James was too blind, but again, Peter is wasn’t just some person - he had earned their trust, kept their secrets, and fought alongside them. I understand James had his flaws and I’m not denying them, but it wasn’t arrogance or black and white thinking that brought James down - love did. He loved Sirius and Peter.

hi okay, i don't take this as hate lol, i am a bit frustrated bc i almost put a qualifier like "(of course their deaths are the fascists' fault)" but it felt unnecessary.

the idea of james' trust being a reason his family dies is thematically interesting to me. dumbledore's fatal flaw (fatal for a bunch of people, not just him) is not trusting people. he thinks lily and james trusted the wrong person. and they did.

but if just a few more people had known about the plan sirius never would have gone to azkaban. maybe peter would've been too afraid to go through with turning them over to voldy. so there's a narrative tension between trusting too much and not trusting enough. dumbledore is egotistical and should have created a more cooperative resistance rather than being the ultimate head.

i very much reject the idea that love brought james and lily down. again, this is bc it weakens the narrative. i really stand by:

his high self-regard and his loyalty meant he couldn't fathom someone he considered a best friend betraying him. if he sees someone as good, they must be good. he'd never been wrong before!

i have a lot to say about james potter and black & white thinking that's in drafts, so that's for another time.

the responsibility for james, lily, and harry's deaths falls on voldemort, peter, and arguably dumbledore. jily shouldn't have been having to make choices to save themselves from being murdered!!! however, that doesn't mean james and lily's choices had no impact.

giving james flaws that are normal, human flaws and relating them to his canon positive traits (trust & loyalty) and then seeing how the mix of those traits contributes to his and lily's death is interesting. it is complex and tragic, because no one is perfect, and that shouldn't be a death sentence.

i hc that james struggled a lot with how to be a husband and father since (in my hc) his dad died before he and lily married. i imagine that, as a man in the 70s, he feels like it's his job to protect his family (he doesn't think lily is weaker but damn these gender roles have hands) and not being able to do so bc his wife is in a group that is being genocided and they're both fighting a war eats him up

so i do imagine him making the call. he knows peter better than lily does, and sirius obviously doesn't get final say. so james makes the call that results in their deaths, and sirius comes up with the idea that results in their deaths, and lily is passive and allows these "wrong" choices.

this isn't a fair way of putting it, but it's how each character sees themselves. this isn't a real-world cause and effect, it's exploring themes present in the og books thru character analysis and hc

I'm not a massive fan of the post that's like "No one is protesting anymore cause everyone is too comfortable" because people ARE protesting; I see protests on twitter daily. There are protests happening in almost every capital city but they are... peaceful protests. Peaceful protests with hundreds if not thousands of people but... peaceful protests.

But even peaceful protests in this country can be met with RICO charges and extreme police brutality and we live in a country that CHEERED ON the police brutality and personal consequences against Pro-Palestinian student protesters and especially against BLM protesters. Because, yes, we did actually have fairly massive and more disobedient protests very, very recently from all classes of people, including supposedly respected groups like Professors, and they a. got met with extremely disproportional responses and b. didn't... change... much.

Which is why I think intellectually lazy posts like "people are just too comfortable to protest" (ignoring that a lot of people ARE NOT comfortable and in fact can't protest because they cannot risk losing their jobs or are too busy trying to survive to protest) are not helpful.

We need actual meaningful leadership. Ideas on how to deal with extremely militarized police and national guard that can be called in if anyone so much as looks up where to get cow bells. Planning BEFORE the protests and not just panicked advice on how to deal with chemical gas or which bail funds to prioritize after the fact. (Which often led to incorrect bail funds being linked, one bail fund being donated to past capacity while others got ignored, etc)

And the problem is a lot of people aren't equipped to really do that. Because, again, people are not comfortable. When people cannot afford food or rent, they don't really have money to donate to bail funds. A lot of people, very reasonably, do not know how to deal with militarized cops and... aren't equipped to do so. There are only so many lawyers that can help fight off RICO charges.

America is a massive, MASSIVE land mass which means going to protests often requires travel people need funded. It's a surveillance state, it's a military state. The issue isn't "comfort." It's not even a lack of protests. There are protests happening RIGHT NOW and it seems some of you don't know that because you simply do not go to them.

I think this weird blame game isn't helpful. Like... okay... where are your tips and tricks for successful or at least not-shutdown protests? I know there is a level of discretion required if you are actually participating but also... if everyone is pointedly saying "NOT IT!" for potential consequences... who is really too afraid of losing their "comfort?"

I'll openly say I'm a hypocrite, as I don't have solutions to offer. But I also recognize that I am simply in the same position most Americans are in. I just know going "WHY DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE, WHO IS NOT ME, ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING?" isn't actually impactful and also isn't reflecting what is actually happening. People are trying. They are. They're on the streets, a lot of them are doing boycotts (and I know you know this because I see the posts gloating about how sales are down), and a lot of them are doing what they can elsewhere.

The fact that it's not enough says more about the American elite than it does about the people trying.

You know, I really really hope that the Bad Kids don't kill the Rat Grinders because it's So incredibly clear that they were victims groomed to be angry killing machines. When they saw those text messages of Jace being like "I know you kids are so up your own asses about revenge against the bad kids, don't fucking do it you little idiots", I was like holy SHIT dude, you're a fucking adult talking to a bunch of hormonal teens in which you've helped cause even more of an imbalance to their emotions and you're telling them to calm down??? What the fuck did you expect to happen when you made teenagers the crux of this mission??

I remember in an ap where the group was talking about how inappropriate Porter was acting towards Gorgug w how personally invested he was to his performance, and it makes me uncomfortable to think of his possible past interactions w the Rat Grinders.

Sure they have their own issues like Kipperlily being mad at Riz cause she doesn't have a traumatic backstory or Oisin's relative being close w Kalvaxus and possibly brewed some resentment on his end, but also...they're kids. They were angry, but it was more teens being petty than bloodthirsty. Then, they were heavily influenced by these adults/forces who have So much more power over them telling them that, yes, you are right to be angry and rageful, it's not unhealthy nor smth to be managed, you need to nurture it and embrace it.

So, while it was a choice they made to be resurrected by the rage crystals, the circumstances of their deaths heavily coerced them to say yes. Yes, they're adventurers, but that doesn't mean they're any less afraid of death. And they're still so young man, are you really gonna look at a kid who died when they were still trying to grow up and say, with certainty, you would've chosen "better" if you were in their position??

If the Bad Kids were willing to help Ragh see through his issues, surely they can extend a similar mercy to the Rat Grinders.

**I will say, to an extent, Jace is also a victim, although idk how involved he was in the plot with Porter before getting rage crystaled himself. Very intrigued to see the starbreaker duo in action!

DAY 3: DANGANTOBER

Day 3: Favorite THH Character Makoto Naegi is a cutie patootie. End post.

No, but in all seriousness, I love Makoto. I know I spent the majority of last post ranting about how much I love Hajime, but that doesn't mean I love Makoto any less.

I'll be real, I love the THH cast, so it was very difficult to pick a favorite from that group. I was between Celestia, Junko, Byakuya, and Makoto, but Makoto's who I went with. Like with Hajime, I was worried that Makoto would just be an self-insert character, and in-game, he kind of is? But people also misremember him in game. People characterize him all the time as non-confrontational, and just a hopeful, positive person, but he's a lot more nuanced than that.

Let's not forget that Makoto tried to throw hands with Monokuma more than once, that's pretty confrontational to me. While he puts up a front of a positive, hopeful person, he also has his moments of being affected by everything that's happened to him. Seriously, replay the game, he's got a lot more bite to him.

He's the kind of person I'd want to be friends with, he's a very sweet person, who's not afraid to throw down for the people he cares about.

I also really like his sibling relationship with Komaru. If you skipped UDG, I don't blame you, but aside from the obviously weird things happening in that game, there's also a lot of world building and substance. Maybe watch a playthrough, cringe with whoever's playing it, and get that good lore.

You can see it in the anime too, he just lights up when he sees Komaru's transmission go through, because it's confirmation that he still has her around. Up until that point, he wasn't sure if his family was still around, and now he knows he still has his sister. It's very sweet, and the way he has so much faith in her, and knows she's capable to do whatever it is she needs to do.

But it's The End of Hope's Peak anime that really does it in for me, and cements him as one of my favorite characters. I get it, I'm basic. But one of the bigger points I see get brought up about Makoto, is that they don't really explore the trauma that would go along with being in a game like that. Which is false, but it's definitely something the game doesn't really focus on for the sake of plot.

But in the anime, you can really see how much that affects him. Makoto Naegi suffers from survivor's guilt, and it's so incredibly potent. That moment made me so sad, I had to close my computer and actually GO TO SLEEP? That can't be right. Granted, I watched that episode at like, 2AM, but rewatching it in the morning hit just as hard.

Like with Nagito, Bryce Papenbrook really gives his all for Makoto, including in the anime. You hear it all the time, whether he's just giving someone a pep talk, or reacting to the newest death in the game. He's smarter than people give him credit for, like in the fight with Munakata, he figures out his forbidden action and traps him in a situation where he needs to sit down and talk with him, all on his own. I'd say he's more emotionally intelligent, but he's definitely got brains in his little noggin.

Please, I want his Nendoroid so badly. I own a plushie of him in Future Arc, I bought it at a local fair, and he's my prized possession.

On the topic of emotional intelligence, he's very forgiving and compassionate too. One thing you should know about me, is that I love the SDR2 cast, including when they're the Remnants of Despair. They're cool, their designs are cool, and they're CRIMINALLY underused. Makoto is the one who was able to see past the people they had become, and see the hurt people underneath. Most of the world had written them off as despair-laden monsters, but Makoto actually went against the wants of the Future Foundation in order to rehabilitate them.

Even if it causes him issues, Makoto is very caring and will do what's right. His sense of morality is one that is evidently difficult to skew.

Actually, for anyone who has the ability to read, the person responding to the first submission did not prove OP's point. Saying something shouldn't be done means you think it shouldn't exist. Saying it shouldn't exist means you want it to be censored.

And no matter what they look like, characters are not people, drawings, words, and pixels are not kids. I love stupid superhero G/t scenarios so much cause it just adds so much variety to the typical dynamic.

Like character A has the power to control their weight/density and is just an absolute tank and very much likes it.

Character B is a sizeshifter and is also an absolute tank. They also really like being "the tank."

They can't stand one another. Absolute rivals despite having the same friend group. They're always trying to assert some kind of dominance over the other. Like A will make themselves incredibly dense so B can't pick them up (which to any bystanders is downright hilarious). B, who in reality is short than A, will continously grow just a bit taller than them in everyday setting, or downright loom over them at their larger size if given the opportunity.

Like the comedy potential for the tiny to just be able to pin down the giant ?? Amazing.

Or imagine A is more freaked out by the size than they've been letting on; Some sort of danger happens and A is left unable to walk and they need to get away fast. Maybe an explosion is imminent, maybe a building is about to collapse, either way they need to move fast. B goes to pick them up but they make themselves heavier, refusing to move.

"Nows not the time A- we need to move -" B freezes. A was crying. They've never seen A cry. Just how hurt were they?

B feels guilt well up. Did A not trust them that much? Sure they fought, but they had to know they would never actually hurt them...

What was that supposed to mean? What difference did it make?? With no time to argue B shrinks down and picks them up. They've never felt A lighten themselves and it's a jarring feeling picking someone up at their normal size with them weighing next to nothing. There was time to dwell on how bizzare this was becoming.

B ran, awkwardly caring the oversized yet underweight body of A as they raced to clear the area. So what if they added a few extra inches to themselves between strides? They needed to get out of here fast and time was running out.

They wouldn't make it. Not at this height.

There was no time to argue.

Earlier this week, I reblogged a fanart piece for the Mouthwashing game, wondering why it was so popular, as while I had seen the game months earlier, seeing Tumblr get so into it was surprising as at the time, it didn't stand out to me too much when I first watched it. After being nosy and snooping around the tags, I now fully get why it has become such a phenomenon here.

Anyway, the whole thing kind of inspired me to want to make my own lil space crew. I'll be keeping their designs simple though, as I don't wanna stress myself out with this too much; its just a small side thing for funsies. I don't have full design ideas for others yet, but I figured I can at least post this guy for starters. I admittedly don't fully like the poster one, buuuut IDK how to fix it rn so I'll leave it as is.

The poster's Lone wolf quote is basically Stefan's mantra; it both shows how despite what he may seem like at first glance, he very much cares about the people around him, and how the whole "lone wolf" thing isn't even realistic (and in a way, harmful way of thinking), and Stefan knows that.

When I say "dad" I mean he is the responsible friend who tries to keep most shenanigans at bay - mainly from their tech assistant Mara.

His childhood friend has a crush on him, and so does the medic lady. He is aware of Matt's crush on him, but somehow completely oblivious to Cherry, even though she shows it more obviously.... (the Captain and the systems officer find it VERY fun to watch)

Those two aren't competitive or anything about their shared crush, they're both the kind of people that just want their loved ones to be happy and would be happy for either if they got lucky - provided the dumbass would notice either.....

BG STORY STUFF: Stefan wears a gas mask, because of his sensitivity to a common gas type utilized in most spaceships' systems in this story; a special type of non-flammable gas, that unfortunately can cause hallucinations, and in his case, causes bouts of severe aggression/Lack of sense of pain.

-----> The reason why he has an odd reaction is because of some evil scientist shenanigans he had to go through as a kid, unknowingly to him and his mum, who thought the doctors were trying to cure a terrible illness he supposedly had. (They were just testing out brainwashing stuff, you know, usual evil government bullshit)

------> he ended up in prison because while working in another ship, he had a severe fit and killed a lot of his coworkers (whom he already had negative emotions towards due to their shitty behavior towards the woman staff - he was raised better by his mama)

-----> There was a massive riot in the prison he was in, hence he managed to escape.

His friend insisted on helping and got him in the ship; Stefan initially avoided everyone else like plague afraid he'd have a fit, but did grow fond of the oddball group pretty quickly.

Then, during a space-pirate raid, he learned that he can actually recognize this group even in that state, so they aren't in danger from him - plus their captain is a very prepared woman, and had already figured out his history. (She has stuff to knock him out to sleep it off)
