They deleted On Prie???? Last I checked, the Revival cast had it with Sans Elle, and the Italian version has it. Are you talking about this recent version with Damien and Cecilia in the roles?
Regardless, On Prie is definitely one of the better Revival songs. I like the lyrics, even if the idea is a Duo du Desespoir retread, and it has drive and verve. It’s tied evenly with Sans Elle in my opinion—perhaps having both dragged down the show’s pacing too much? I would just personally have it right after Avoir Une Fille and before Le Poison. If I find out they deleted that over Tybalt or the new Tu Dois Te Marier, I’ll go postal.

I always talk to my therapist about my interests and I remember when i initially got into elisabeth: das musical I told her about it towards the end of a session and she was really interested so she asked me where she could watch it so we could talk about it in detail next time, I told her where to find the 1992 proshot since i like that one better than the 2005 one, so then we talked about it a week later and. I mustve talked a little too much about rudolf because at some point shes asks me "so, you kin him?" but like, in therapist-speak, and I get really flustered and I rush to explain to her that being compared to him like that makes me feel bad and also that i dont think about him a lot because hes in any way relatable to me, i think about him a lot because he has a little gay thing going on w/ a hot androgynous guy. And for the record, me being so flustered has nothing to do with rudolf specifically, i just react very badly to historical media for some reason, like elisabeth is a real outlier as far as my interests go, i wouldve reacted the same way if you compared me to any other historical guy. but anyway, i was just thinking about that again because at the time i didnt really think about it but now Im like. hey madame therapist what do you mean, do i kin the guy who kills himself???

"how do we make claudio redeemable" "how do we fix the relationship between claudio and hero" "how do we make the audience forgive claudio"
ok well first of all we do not need a cut and dry ending to their relationship. the last moment of this play is the characters delaying the conflict with don john to celebrate. i think it makes sense thematically and is in fact just fine if you end the conflict of their relationship on a draw and let them sit with the fact that there is still more to come. "we'll figure that out later" is a very familiar ending in shakespeare's comedies! a twelvemonth and a day? that's too long for a play! you can stick with the day and let the audience fill in the gaps. with all that said:
recognize that their "silence" on the page does not indicate they're not in communication. embrace the fact that these are two people who seem to completely lose their words, and that their best friends are The Loudest and Most Talkative People on Earth. remember that in the moment they get together, they can't get a clear word out in front of the crowd-- but as we know because beatrice tells us, they're whispering to each other once the focus turns away from them. hero "tells him in his ear that she is in her heart", but we never hear her, we just know it's happened.
i think there are a million ways this can get played, specifically for hero. she's been sweetly shy, awkward and bad at self-advocating, deeply anxious (shakespeare plot handwaving aside, these characters do think getting publically humiliated could kill this girl); she could be constantly interrupted or overwhelmed by beatrice (after all, the only scene where hero gets to really talk her shit is when beatrice can't talk!).
but i really think, if you want to play this relationship in a way that ends in a conclusively happy place, show us that there is a world of their relationship we don't see on the page or hear in the dialogue! maybe they're whispering to each other the whole time don pedro hatches his plan in 2.1; maybe they're sending notes to each other constantly; maybe there's an eye contact, natural closeness and physical gravity towards each other throughout the whole play that lets us know these people are just built to be around each other. maybe you find some way to supplement the text that plays into this! maybe you figure out how this unheard communication-- or the sudden lack of it-- feels during hero's "death"! maybe this impacts what happens between them as the rest of the characters gasp at hero's resurrection!
this isn't me reasoning my way backwards into how ~actually it's great that the woman whose sexuality the play revolves around gets very little time to share her thoughts with the audience~.. but if you're trying to make this love story and their happy ending feel like something you want audiences to root for... think about her quiet! figure out what she's saying when we don't have beatrice as an amplifier! in the play with the most notorious banter in the world i think there's room for something very sweet in their odd awkward counterparts

my second listen with lyrics in front of me of 5sos5 has made me decide this is my favorite 5sos album. the focus on growth that this album tackles and the storyline that the lyrics paint of that concept—of different obstacles in life, the relatable struggle with identity but also the aspects of it so specific to the band—I think they beautifully captured the dizzying feeling figuring yourself out can create, especially as you navigate the relationships in your life.
I think the album also reflects the band very well sonically, with a clearer sound imo that says 5sos. something that takes their inspirations and influences and interests, and couples it with their own art and vision. lyrically and vocally it’s just some of their strongest work yet. while I think the “the feeling of falling upwards” captures the experience of the album’s feeling, I do think the palindrome of 5sos5 captures how much the album reflects on them and their careers, but also looks a bit towards the future.
and in the carousel idea of them being on a spinning ride called life, the full circle idea that a palindrome can represent is fitting for the album. so while I still hope for the day 5sos gives us the kind of album title that the feeling of falling upwards could’ve been, I’m very happy with 5sos5 and so incredibly proud of them. whether it’s the vocals or songwriting or instrumentation or concept or production, this album really is their best yet
