Most likely. This doesn't happen often here so I don't know all the specifics. until last night, there was a coalition of three parties that made up the majority. Our chancellor fired a dude which broke the coalition apart - now we have a minority government which means to decide anything, you need votes from the opposition.

Now there's a vote of confidence (I think that's what it's called) and depending on how that goes, there will be a new election. The opposition wants that to happen now, the current chancellor wants it to happen in January. So really, our government at the moment is just constantly at odds.

The real problem with this is that here, much like in other parts of the world, the right-wing movement is way, way too popular. So a new election might just mean that we're getting a right-wing government - or at least one that's far more right-wing than it is now.

can we talk about how Harry runs to Bobby in s2 when Michael was mad and Bobby later tells Michael it's because Harry sees him as the fun person, not the person who will put his foot down or be the dad. and Hen talks about Denny running to Nathaniel (Denny's bio dad) when his moms did something he didn't like. and Chris runs to Buck when Eddie talked to him about dating Ana. all three kids run to someone they think are safe but not the people who will try to 'parent' them. but then Buck does. He doesn't just joke with Chris, he calls Eddie. he sits and talks to Chris about his fear and discusses what that means. he ISN'T dad's fun buddy Buck when he promises that he'll still be there. all without losing Chris' trust as his friend. then there's s6 where they make cookies together and Chris asks if they can have cookies for dinner but Buck negotiated that they'll have steak for dinner and cookies after.

again and again we're given situations where he could very well be the guy who is overcompensating by just being fun with Chris but Buck doesn't. even if he doesn't realize it, he's not playing the role of someone there just for the good parts, he's there supporting Eddie's parenting and home rules even when Eddie isn't in the room. and Chris grew up all these years watching it.
