Busy life, but well fed. I try to keep it simple to not overwhelm myself. ▫️ Yesterday I had three meals on the go: ▫️ Breakfast: Coffee and @hekagoodfoods bar ▫️ Lunch: Breakfast burrito or taco that I cooked in less than ten minutes before heading out to pick up kids. ▫️ Dinner: Salad with chicken and @cutdacarb pieces. What an overwhelmingly long day with some bad news from the two most important men in my life. I can not change the bad news all I can do is control myself, my actions, reactions and how I show up for myself and to the people in my life. I love taking some time on Sunday afternoon to plan my week. I feel much more prepared and successful with my goals! Here are some tips and hacks that make it a smoother process for me: ✏️ I use a fold-out key to remind me of my color coding. I can see, from anywhere in my planner, what color goes with what category. Using color helps me keep track of important events/tasks and also lets me see if I’m neglecting an area! ✏️ I keep a “master list” of semi-regular tasks to pull out when I do my weekly planning. After all non-negotiables are in place, I can fill in the less urgent things. ✏️ Having a focus or intention for the week has been really helpful for personal goals!
