Today was a bit rough, but I did manage to do all of my weekly and monthly prep. Happy to be curled up in bed now, and I’m looking forward to finally reading something physically.

Saturday started with a walk on the beach. I love it when the sky is reflected off the wet sand. On our walk home I got a text from Daughter inviting me to join her on a shopping trip. We both got some new clothes and some storage containers. We had a yummy lunch at our favourite cafe and enjoyed catching up with each others work tales. When I got home Hubby had been down the garden picking peas, carrots, potatoes and courgettes for dinner. He did lamb chops on the BBQ. Yum. I spent the evening working on Mum's quilt. I am running out of time to finish it. Better go do some more on it now. I will do a progress update later.

Quick heads up —

I'm celebrating my two year anniversary with my fiancé on the 20th so I won't be able to post, write, or draw anything that day. It probably won't severely impact you guys but it's just a quick thing I wanted to say.

Also will probably be slower too since I am the one planning our date. Hope y'all understand!

Planted some herbs in pots today (as well as trying to revive some from last year). Also some strawberries and pansies. And picked dandelion heads for dandelion honey or dandelion wine.

Let me tell you, picking the heads off of several hundred flowers is a little hard on the back.

Food and books, getting my wallpaper up, reading some more, chocolate cake, and the second Lilo and Stitch. Feeling a little scattered as I couldn’t do a lot of my usual Sunday tasks, but I’m telling myself it’s okay.
