I was just on the bus and a dog ran infront of it (the driver stopped and the dog moved) and then the driver continued on a turn and stopped because another bus was there and the dog ran infront of the bus again while it was stopped, immediately after a 7th grader half screamed half sang 'I need a hero!' (From "I need a hero, I'm holding out for a hero till the end of the night") and said another thing, this is what he said (rough translation) "I need a hero~! Is there anyone Chinese here?"
I know I shouldn't laugh but I hear much more racist things on the daily both from him and others in my school, so I am gonna laugh

I was on the bus, and it was full, so I had to stand and some tall muscular (like 3 times my size) dude was standing next to me, he also had a ginormous bag and it kept fucking hitting me. (He looked like he came out of the forest from a week long hike)

On the bus a child, with youthful whimsy and innocent delight, points towards the rear. The parent sighs and mouths, "no, not all the way in the back." They settle not far from me, towards the back end.
I smile. The joy of a child triumphs over an adult's exasperation.

A tiny second grader was trying to help his younger cousin sit still on the bus which was all well and good except his method was pretty confrontational and idk what cryptids gen alpha believes in but nothing in this world had prepared me, a gen z-er, to hear screamed by a child SIT DOWN OR ELSE. SIDDOWN OR JEFFREY STAR WILL GET YOU

Are you telling me that this is not standard behaviour for most of the people?
I mean... you can be distracted and not notice someone that might need help (with anything, not just doors) but not doing it willingly? Why?
But of course, you're talking to a girl that gave away 2 seats (that weren't her own) on the same bus ride once because at first I saw an elderly woman clasping with her whole body one of the bars (the bus was full yet NO-ONE gave her a seat despite her advanced age). One of the seats was free and a younger (still older than me, around 40 something, maybe 50) asked me if I was going to sit, otherwise she would do it, so I told her about this grandma across us and she agreed on give her the seat. I reached to this lady and offered my hand so she could hold herself while walking to the seat. A couple blocks later the seat next to the grandma was free so I let the younger woman sit.
A couple of seconds later someone tapped on my hand (I was holding myself from the small handle that is behind the head of the seats) and it was a man (also about 50 or 60) that told me to sit down on his place. I told him that I was fine (I was not, I still had a long ride ahead and the driver was going a little faster than he should) but he was about to get off the bus and wanted me to have his seat (probably because he saw what I did).
Once I sat down I was behind both women and I could her them talk about how nice of me was to let them sit and almost draw a tear of my eye.
One of the things that I enjoyed more when in College was surprising people that did not expected someone like me (young, with band t-shirts, cargo pants -in summer-, and that clearly didn't cared enough of how she looked -always loose hair with little to no makeup-) did something unexpectedly kind for them. It was like breaking the Matrix 🤣 And lets not mention the times where I had to dolled-myself-up (a requirement when doing a group presentation) and I sat down next to someone on the bus, put on my headphones to listen to Billy Idol's Devil's Playground, Whitesnake or some of The Cure heaviest tracks and the sound bleeded a little to whoever was sitting next to me so they would turn like "WTF? This girl is listening WHAT?" 🤣🤣🤣
Hold the door if there's someone behind you.
Nobody likes having a door slammed in their face, but you also never know if the person coming through the door behind you might be struggling with an injury or disability where holding the door for them could be a big help. It's especially important to be mindful of holding the door if the person behind you is carrying something, as it's extra hard to multitask carrying things and open doors when your arms are full.

Tim has found his soulmate (not a soulmate AU, just in the like “i think we’re totally meant to be together” way). Well, okay, it’s entirely one-sided so far, but he’s sure SpecterNova will reciprocate once they’re in proper contact.
He’s already found everything he publicly can on the youtuber, but he’s still digging deeper. It’s weirdly difficult—his love must like his privacy!—but he’s making headway.
On the other end, Danny is getting nervous about the dedication of his new internet stalker. Even with Tucker’s help in setting up his online security and the scrambling effects of ectoplasm, they can tell that the person is still making progress. They don’t seem like they’re a part of the GIW, but that doesn’t mean their search can’t harm him in some other way.
He really hopes he doesn’t have to change identities again. Having to do it the first time to flee the GIW was bad enough, and he’s been liking his current life.

Jealousy, Jealousy (MHA/Fem!Reader)
Summary: Where you're not jealous. Definitely not. (MHA characters reacting to their girlfriend getting jealous. Part 1?)
Characters: Dabi, Aizawa
Content: Jealousy. Violence and Unhinged!Reader in the Dabi one.
MHA-MHA-MHA
Dabi
You stalked out of the bar, leaving behind the chaos you just caused.
Cold rage coursed through your veins, your pulse pounding in your throat. You could still see that woman's hands all over Dabi, hear the sweet words she was whispering in his ear. That stupid look on her face, the confidence she had that she would be able to take what was yours.
She's lucky all you gave her was a few broken bones.
A hand caught your wrist and you reacted quickly, spinning around drawing on your quirk, ready to strike.
"Take it easy, Angel," Dabi's grinning face, full of twisted amusement, both calmed and paradoxically infuriated you. "It's just me."
You scoffed, the sound a cobra's hiss, and let up on your quirk. You straightened up and pulled away from his grasp in favor of crossing your arms. You'd left him behind when you stormed out, eager to get out before you truly lost control.
He chuckled at your behavior, at the anger still radiating off of you. He was undaunted by it, moving closer, fingers skating along your upper arms. "What was that about, pretty girl? Feeling jealous?"
"I'm not jealous," you spun away from him and began walking again, his skulking footsteps following you. "I just don't tolerate anyone disrespecting me to my face."
"Sure, sure," he obviously didn't buy it.
"Don't piss me off," you snapped, walking faster, "you weren't exactly discouraging the attention, you know."
"And miss out on the show?" you were spun around to face him again and he pushed you up against a wall. His eyes pierced you, his voice a pleasant purr, "not a chance."
You tried to hold onto your anger, but a new kind of heat burned through you at the look on his face, the feeling of his hand running up your side. He nuzzled into your neck, his tongue dragging along your skin and making you shiver.
"Do you know how fucking sexy you looked? Raging like that, all over little old me," he grabbed a handful of your hair, tilting your head back so he could gain better access to your neck. "Vicious girl..."
Your eyelids fluttered and you gripped his shoulders tight as he began to bite and suck at your neck. Possessive lust hazed over your mind and you pulled him closer.
Dabi was yours, and you'd tear apart anyone who dared to try and take him from you.
Aizawa
It was stupid.
You were a grown woman, well beyond the age of petty bouts of jealousy-
And yet.
Sometimes, seeing Shouta's friends, like Miss Joke and Midnight, playfully flirt with him in the way that they did...
It got to you.
And you hated it. Because you knew they were just joking, knew they had no interest in Shouta. And Shouta never entertained their jokes at all, shooting them down in that stern way of his. You had nothing to worry about.
But sometimes, you could still feel the heat rise up under your collar, the tension in your jaw, the urge to tell them to knock it off sitting ready on your tongue. But you didn't. You didn't want to be that girl. You didn't want to make a big deal out of an obvious joke, be the girlfriend that was so insecure she had to bare her teeth at every woman that came near her man.
So you said nothing. But that didn't mean Shouta didn't notice something was bothering you. He knew you so well.
MHA-MHA-MHA
"What's the matter?"
You blinked, glancing over at Shouta as his voice brought you out of your thoughts. The two of you had just left after getting dinner with some of your UA colleagues and were walking home. At some point, after a few rounds of drinks, Midnight had turned her suggestive persona in Shouta's direction. You'd also had a drink or two at this point and couldn't help but leave the table, using the excuse of needing the restroom to step away and cool off for a while. The attempt to calm down didn't work, and you'd remained quiet and closed off for the rest of the evening.
"Nothing," you weren't very convincing, you knew, but you still tried. "Nothing's the matter."
"Hm," he hummed thoughtfully, not saying anything for a few minutes as you continued on your walk. But that didn't mean he was dropping the subject, "you've been quiet since Kayama started in on her antics."
Your mouth twisted into a soft grimace when he hit the nail on the head, "...she was just joking," you said, something you reassured yourself of many a time.
"She was," he agreed quietly, "but it still bothered you."
It wasn't a chastisement, merely an observation, but you still felt embarrassed. You didn't look at him, a horrid blush burning on your face as your silence answered for you.
His hand closed around yours, the familiar warmth a comforting balm to your nerves. "I'll tell her to stop. Joke, too." He really it all figured out, didn't he?
"No," you disagreed, and damn it, why was your throat tight? Why did your eyes burn? "I'm being- I'm just being childish."
"You're not being childish," slowly, Shouta stopped walking, pulling you to a stop as well. He used a gentle hand to guide you into looking up at him, and all you saw was his calm patience that you adored so much. "It's making you uncomfortable, so it's worth addressing."
His thumb brushed over your cheek, the tenderness of the action, of his words, coaxed a few tears out of you. You sniffled, nodding quietly. You still felt so embarrassed, but a part of you felt so relieved to finally have it out in the open, and to have Shouta take it seriously.
He brought you into a hug, and you pressed your face into his chest, the press of his hand resting on the back of your head grounding you.
"I'm sorry," you whispered.
"Don't be," he said reassuringly.

Confession time (not a quote):
so…. my bus broke down a couple weeks ago and we’ve been borrowing a spare and in the interim (since they keep asking about it) ((and since it’s taking so long)) I’ve been regaling the kindergarteners with fictional updates on the Old Bus, regarding about “experimental upgrade” to being The First Flying School Bus™ like how they’re installing a crank operated rope ladder for kids to get on and off the bus or how they had a setback on the rocket boosters
of course I am definitely planning on letting them down gently when we get Old Bus back and I have to explain that the tests didn’t work and the bus was too heavy to fly after all or something, but they’ll try again next year
but I was telling them today about how the mechanics were supposedly testing it at an air field today to see if it would fly and the kids were talking about how much time we would save on traffic, like flying over the train tracks instead of stopping, and it struck me I’ve lost all sense of how far is too far lmao like I am lying to children… but I’m also like encouraging their imagination or whatever???
and I’m trying not to outright lie, saying things like “well they have to test fly it, right?” and “well, how do you think we could get on the bus when it could fly” and be more suggestive or whatever but I am cracking up inside I think this is so funny and simultaneously lowkey evil this is truly my villain era

remember how ghostbur kept falling into the lmanberg crater, because he forgot that doomsday had happened? it was a bad memory so he refused to look it in the eye, but the reality of it was still there and still hurting him, over and over again. if he'd been able to face what had happened, he could have figured out how to deal with it, found a way to safely cross the crater. but cuts and scrapes and respawns were less painful than acknowledging it. so he kept on falling.

I feel like a witch put a curse on me as a toddler that makes traumatic things happen to me only when it’s the funniest possible moment in my life
Anyways I was just in a bus crash. I’m perfectly 100% fine and uninjured. Other folks were not as lucky and left on stretchers. There was a lot of blood and screaming.
The street light was out. We hit a van going full speed. I was seated (obviously) so I didn’t get thrown around as bad.
So just to sum things up, this morning I was told I won my disability case and would be getting a substantial payment and income from it.
And this evening I was in a completely unavoidable bus crash caused by a random streetlight failure.

reciprocal gift | Ida's wand handle lore
Tumblr media
Sebastian might not understand Ida's passion towards nature and it's aesthetic, but he is attentive enough to notice it.
Tumblr media
And after Ida's gift - the music box that played the lullaby mother sang to Anne and Sebastian, he tried his best to make something equal despite the lack of money or time.
