It is very interesting that G3 started out with more points of articulation than the average fashion doll, only to completely downgrade less than 2 years in.

At this point, I don't even understand the purpose of the budget dolls. They're not easy to come by, I've only ever found 1 in store, and it was $20. At that same time, the core dolls were $17 on Amazon lol. Even now the G3 doll's prices fluctuate like crazy in the US. Hell, I got Scaridise Island Drac for like $11, but that new budget Cleo is $15?? Hello??

I'm getting the vibe that it's more for Mattel's benefit than it is for consumers. It'll just cost them less money.

thinking,,, jillian, nina and meeshell's dolls were originally supposed to come with diaries just like justine farrah and melody had when they released, instead of the wack cards that only contain like 3 sentences about them

it's such a shame they scrapped their diaries , would have been really interesting to learn more about them cause they got so little screentime in the show :( oh well...

but they aren't really useful without wrist and thigh joints. Sorry not sorry. This might be the end of rh for me 😭😭😭

The upcoming junior high dolls have also lost the wrists articulations. Damn. Can't have shit in this economy.

Y'all I went into my local larger town today (out in the middle of nowhere, but still big) And I FOUND The Budget Dolls! These girlies are so cuuute! And they're affordable too! I actually really like them. But I don't plan on buying them. My birthday is coming up though... $30AUD isn't a bad price for most. Though that is pretty small. I'm still excited y'all! Everything is on sale. Surely the new dolls of the season are on there way! 😊🤞🤞

i hate that she’s in a three pack and the recycled accessories is crazy. bite in the park shoes, monsterista / fangtastic roadtrip bag recolored, the core refresh’s earrings and gorganizer’s headband really ?? oof but eh. it’s a budget doll so it makes sense

it’s weird to me they put cleo in this pack when she literally JUST CAME OUT. guess they wanted an excuse to make a new clawdeen and drac was slapped in there cuz the kids really like her …

tbh i don’t know how to feel about this but i really do love drac’s dress and will love to get my hands on her. if anyone buys it for cleo and clawdeen and doesn’t want drac, please let me know!! i’ll buy her from you !!
