Why was Christopher date mirroring Buck and Eddie relantionship

Before the next episode come i wanted to say these things

First: obviously Chris and Penny playing video games and eating pizza toghether like Eddie and Buck did from the past 5 years

Second: the fact Chris meet Penny at math class as Eddie said. Funny because i know another two people who always argue about math and how Buck became a math genius knowing all the answers after the accident

Third: Chris calling another girl after that date and thinking he likes her as the other women who was chatting with. Similar as Buck and Eddie dating life where they think they like other girls but they break with them in the end

Four: Chris is still hurt about his past with her mom and that's the reason why he doesn't want to get in love with someone because he's scared he will loose them too someday

(Also the fact thah both Shanon and Abby left them)

5x16 being about all the characters reliving their traumas in some form -Bobby with May being in the fire, Chimney with his brother nearly dying how his pseudo brother died

and in that same episode they have josh have something with that contractor guy, Carson and not acting on it and who are the ones that find Carson with a broken leg? Buck and Eddie and what else do they point out? That Buck had the same injury

Then each of these reliving moments end up better than the actual moment, Bobby is able to save his kid this time, Chimney is able to save his brother before he falls through

What about Carson and Josh? Josh acts on his feelings after Carson’s injury *mic drop*

The way they have canonized him flirting with a man as a point of comparison and there are nod differences throughout
