I cannot believe that it's now canon that Bucky Barnes LOVES Sam Wilson. I can't believe we got to hear Bucky say the words "I love you, buddy" after Sam called him Buck ... A NAME THAT ONLY STEVE WAS ALLOWED TO CALL HIM.

Sambucky IS canon.

The MCU can't even deny it because those looks, and the love in their eyes, were right there for us all to see. I know that Anthony Mackie said that they were just friends, but he also said Bucky wasn't going to be in this movie, so we know he lies.

They are in love, and Bucky actually said the words.

And isn’t that the trick in life, thinks Steve: figuring out what matters.

I'm sorry but the major switch up in the fandom from stucky to sambucky (plus a bunch of hating on steve goes with it I see) is lowkey so upsetting to me like Steve literally went into enemy territory all alone with only a prop helmet and a real shield I guess not sure but either way he was willing to die for buck then he was completely and utterly destroyed when he lost him

Then when he found him again he was willing to let bucky kill him because he couldn't bare to fight him and when he finally got buck back he was willing to lie and betray Tony a guy who he had fought alongside for years (wouldn't really call them friends at this point but more like coworkers who have a mostly stable relationship) ntm the fact that Steve literally became a criminal just to save him and never stopped fighting to bring him home and save him

This is absolutely NOT sambucky hate not on the ship or the shippers, i just feel like people completely forget all that Steve did just because of his ending for instance I saw a bunch of edits of Steve to songs like the smallest man who ever lived or idk the name but the one that goes "do you feel ashamed when you hear my name ?" Like honey did we watch the same movies ?

whatever you do, don’t think about 40’s!bucky being tortured by hydra and yelling out for steve. whatever you do, don’t think about bucky only recognizing steve in catws when he’s beat up because the image of a bloodied and bruised steve in alleyways can’t ever get out of bucky’s mind. whatever you do, don’t think about how scared bucky must’ve been every time he got frozen. whatever you do, don’t think about how bucky wanted to see steve for 70 years and only really got to be with him for like 10. whatever you do, don’t think about how bucky would’ve stayed with steve until the end of the line. whatever you do, don’t think about bucky calling out for steve and his mom— because she was the only mom bucky ever really knew. and whatever you do, don’t think about bucky recognizing nat because he was the one who helped train her in becoming a widow.
