Been thinking about this meme and how funny it would be if this wasn’t just a Doflamingo thing but a widespread belief among the upper echelon of the Underworld. Like illegal weapon dealings, creating child soldiers, the whole slave trade thing? Totally normal and fair game!It’s not called the Underworld for no reason! Giving a minor alcohol though? They act like they just finished teaching Sunday School.

Like I’m just imaging them celebrating something probably horrible and some poor waiter accidentally brings Jackie a flute of champagne. She’s about to (very politely) correct the mistake, it happens often enough and she doesn’t want to be sailing around on her arrows tipsy anyway, when a half dozen loud and over exaggerated gasps cuts through the air.

I think there's a possibility that Whitebeard and Buckingham Stussy could have been in a relationship, or at least were close enough that he could tolerate her riding around on his shoulder. But the dealbreaker came from Whitebeard not giving her a biological child; either because he didn't have any desire to procreate, he might have been infertile, because he knew the world was already full of orphans who needed a home, or some combination of all of those.

It's why Marco was so certain that Weevil wasn't Whitebeard's biological son. At least, not in the traditional sense *cough clone cough*

Buckingham Stussy, from what I can gather, wanted a trophy son from Whitebeard that she could ride the coattails of into greatness. He knew she wanted children for her own roundabout gain, and not for the joy of having a family.

Fortunately, in a morbid way, the same sickness that eventually contributed to his death had rendered him unable to have biological children, made turning her down a little more easy. Not entirely quick and painless, no, but far more easy than it would have been.

When she saw Whitebeard claim a little stick-thin wraith of a boy as his own after Rocks was killed, she was well beyond fuming. What right did that little bilge rat have in taking on the Newgate name? None!

She had heard about some scientists doing wild cockamamy experiments in cloning technology, and she just so happened to have a strand of that long golden hair she had wanted to run her fingers through… she would have her trophy child yet!

And when she did, they would be coming for that violet eyed brat. Except the violet eyed brat was long gone by the time Weevil was “born”. Ah well. Good riddance. Now just have to clean up the rest of these fake sons and daughters of his and get that inheritance back into the hands it belongs in…

The fact that ONLY girls are born on Amazon Lily has my gears turning with thoughts about Crocodile's past.

So, obviously, Crocodile is heavily believed to be AFAB. Now, I know about Empress Toritoma and how Croc couldn't have been the missing empress but that doesn't mean he has NOTHING to do with Amazon Lily.

Right now, I'm thinking Croc was born there, as the child of Gloriosa and Xebec, and was later taken to be raised elsewhere. Where he was raised, I'm not 100% certain but my current timeline headcanon is as follows:

Born on Amazon Lily

Taken to be raised either on Xebec's ship or somewhere else

Taken by Stussy to Du Feld after the God Valley incident

What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

Stussy lives rent free in my head, so of course I had to draw her again and I figured I might as well draw her during October while I'm at it. She's a vampire/succubus after all!

Jackie edition! 🪶

1. She’s not an angry person for most stuff but she’s got some triggers. Even if she is genuinely angry she’ll play it off as joke anger when she can.

2. No not even a little. She won’t spoil anyone’s fun but stuff like that just seem so cartoonishly fake to her.

3. Flipping over your eyelids or putting needles into the thinnest layer of skin on your fingers, it gives her the willies something fierce!

4. Her happy place can vary but it most comes down to somewhere soft, comfy and quiet. If she described it to you it'd sound like she wants a nest.

5. It hasn’t happened for her yet but she got pretty close once.

6. After her parents died definitely. She just sort of…stopped.

7. This would have to be a bar/tavern/pub far away from Morgans's watchful eyes but she'd still probably only be there for business! She’d be more likely to pay for someone’s drink but she certainly wouldn’t say no to a free (non alcoholic) beverage!

8. It’s happened a couple of times due to some angry Marines or Pirates not liking how they were portray in the papers and her being the easiest target but she handles it like a champ.

9. One or two less wouldn’t hurt…

10. Once her parents got sick and couldn’t work so she had them all to herself to hangout with! Jackie herself had gotten sick afterwards but her parents actually cut their hours to nurse her which surprised the hell out of her at the time!

11. PASSION! Not in the stereotypical romantic sense but more like a passion in life! Something that makes them get out of bed in the morning, something they can talk about for hours at a time! She just finds it so damn cute!

12. Her bottomless bag for sure!

13. She’s too young for now but it’s definitely crossed her mind once or twice! It’s not super seriously or anything but it’s a fun ‘what-if’ she ponders occasionally.

14. She got her ears pierced when she was extremely young but since then the holes have closed. She has no real interest in re-piercing them but Stussy really wants her to!

15. Maybe it’s her job of her years living on a dirigible but if it’s not some kind of moving home she can’t imagine living there! It would also be absolutely covered in books and the softest bed in human history!

16. A lot of people are under the impression that she can sing when she absolutely cannot. Do NAWT pass her the mic you will regret it.

17. Too good. Like scary good. Like ‘I-never-told-anyone-I-wanted-this-I-literally-just-saw-it-in-passing-how-did-you-know?’ good. People she gifts things to often wonder if she stalked them a little! She didn’t obviously…she’s too busy working to stalk anyone.

18. Her ability to figure people out, it’s her favourite thing to do in life! Be able to read someone at a glance is a skill she continues to hone every single day.

19. Kind and a little too unassuming. Chatty and prone to a dramatic flourish or five. Incredibly nosy. Morally ambiguous.

20. Smart as a whip and a huge nerd. Nosy but can hold herself back. Gossipy to a fault. Incredibly kind. Morally upright.
