Hybe is getting exposed with reporting incorrect numbers as sales for albums. I haven’t really read the whole article, but from what it sounds like, it’s mainly Seventeen, TXT & Golden (we’ve been begging for Face to be restocked, so I’m 99% sure that Jimin is safe). The way this company is just damaging the hell out of BTS’s reputation. I’m not even an army anymore, but I need them & Jimin out of there. Also probably army’s fault for being company stans, so now when people see Hybe, they automatically think BTS.

I already know the deal with Golden. Svt sales have always been sus even with the crazy photocard peddling and TXT…I really don’t pay any attention to them. But considering Bang’s still trying to make shit shake with them because they have his favor, I’m not surprised he wants it to look like they’re doing better than they actually are.

At some point, someone needs to look into how C fbs have that much funds to randomly drop millions on their fav.

And I don't mean just Tedros and JK's C fbs (They were the only 2 out of bts who had over 50% of their album sales mass bought by their cbars), but also cbars of all kpop artists as well. So many of kpop idols have huge mass buying from their cbars. Its very sus. Who are they and where is the money coming from? Someone needs to check.

Yep, this needs investigating. Turn it into a documentary and reveal how these fanbases work.

Just some days ago it was announced that they're changing the criteria for best album at MAMA awards and it made me realize that up until now, album sales represented the majority. So basically, if a fandom has the means to mass buy, then everything is decided beforehand. And that was something acceptable.

They mass buy albums to inflate sales and others are doing it because they are photocard obsessed and then they throw away the rest...I mean, it's ultimately just a money award.

I know stan culture always goes on and on about this idea of giving records to their favorite artist and that's how they show appreciation. But I also do wonder how that artist feels knowing that regardless of their work, how much thought and hours they put into an album, it will merely be something to be mass bought. Success is numbers. That's it? Do they only get satisfaction from that as well? I doubt all of them want just that.

If it doesn't matter if your album/single is good or bad because your loyal fanbase will see it as only a means to break records anyway, then what's the point in even working for yourself as an artist?

Despite being closer to nugudom than BTS-level fame, Fable’s Haksu has been the victim of numerous sasengs ever since his debut. They range from more annoying than normal fans to people committing crimes, with a stronger emphasis on crimes.

The most is known about Twitter user haksubak, who once posted her entire government name in a picture of her passport and a plane ticket to Seoul. To protect some of her privacy, her first name is Michelle, though she goes by March online. She’s presumably Chinese American, based on her Chinese middle and last names and American passport. As the biggest name in Fable’s English-speaking fandom, she’s seen as an authority on most things related to Fable. She’s supposedly OT8-biased, but anyone who’s ever followed her knows that she likes Haksu the most. She probably doesn’t even know Intak’s name. What most people don’t know is that her reputation was built on some very sasaeng-like behaviors. From the creation of her account in early 2021, she’s always known everything there is to know about Fable’s official schedules and some of their unofficial ones. She used to post about university performances and filming schedules before the fancafe ever did. No international fans ever fact-checked her on those tweets until she jumped on the Zenith Entertainment leaks bandwagon at the end of last year and correctly predicted all the stops and dates for Fable’s world tour.

March is most commonly associated with a GoFundMe scam from the end of 2022, where she posted about needing to pay for surgery for her dog. She surpassed her goal of $3500, and everything was fine for a while. A few months later, one of her friends fell out with her and posted DMs where March bragged about scamming other fans to extend her stay in Korea. She doesn’t even have a dog. She’s been exposed multiple times for both her sasaeng behavior and for scamming people, but her status as the most popular international Fable fan account continues to remain untouched.

One of the earliest sasaengs on the scene, Eunmyeong has been a constant and constantly disliked presence since Fable’s debut. Her account dates back to late 2018, and her username is an obvious play on the word 운명 (unmyeong), or destiny. It was also one of Haksu’s most used words shortly after his debut. It was his destiny to debut. It was his destiny to meet his fans. It was his destiny to piss Mingeun off so badly in their debut era that they didn’t speak on camera for two months. You get the point.

Since then, Eunmyeong has proven herself extremely dedicated. She attends multiple fansigns every era, and is probably a good percentage of Fable’s total sales. She’s posted pictures of the stacks and stacks of albums she’s purchased and the shreds of the inclusions featuring members other than Haksu. In the short promotional period of Fable’s last release, she attended all four fansign events. In comparative fansite photos, Haksu looks a little less pleased to see her each time.

Opening her Twitter media at any point subjects you to dozens of pictures of one of Haksu’s photocards held up in front of an apartment building at all times of day. She’s confirmed multiple times that the building she loiters in front of is Fable’s and offers to give other sasaengs the address for a certain price as long as they don’t bias Haksu. Most pictures of the inside of their building, all the way to right outside their apartment doors are her doing. She’s stated multiple times that she also knows what the interior of their apartments look like, but she’s never posted any proof. Not that we want to see any proof.

H.VEN / @chunguk97

H.ven, pronounced “heaven,” is among the most infamous of Haksu’s sasaengs. She first went viral in late 2020 for attending a fansign in a wedding dress. While it seems like that could be the action of a normal but intense and slightly deranged fan, she re-appeared in different wedding dresses multiple times over the next couple of years. She’s also attended all the stops across both of Fable’s world tours except one: the one where Haksu wasn’t there. She posted a picture of her collection of VIP badges, which could probably pay for a year or two of my college education. At the end of their tour, she was the main character of a now extremely iconic airport video of Andrew stepping in front of Haksu and shoving her aside. He shouldn’t have to do that, but I wouldn’t complain if he did it more often. 

As if all of that wasn’t enough, H.ven has also thrown hands with airport security not once, not twice, but at least three separate times. Other fan accounts have reported times where she was literally dragged, kicking and screaming, out of the airport. Oh to be a fly on the wall when that happened. During the pre-recording of one of Fable’s music show performances last year, she reportedly fist-fought a fan of another group for a spot close to the stage. According to hearsay, they were both removed from the venue and restarted their brawl the next day at the next pre-recording.

The mainstay of her Twitter account is an ongoing thread of her appearances in the background of official Fable content. She’s been featured in over half of Haksu’s vlogs since he started uploading them in 2019, usually standing around somewhere in the background with her face blurred out. She compiles screenshots and video recordings in tweets anyway. Her thread has gained enough infamy within the fandom to be compiled in YouTube videos running twenty to thirty minutes long.

With a keyboard smash username that strikes fear into the hearts of kpop stans and idols the world over, Ria is known for buying and selling phone numbers. Her journey as a Fable sasaeng around 2022, when she started offering Haksu’s cell number for sale. She was probably annoyed by H.ven in her mentions every day asking about him. She also offers Byeonghwi, Kiyoung, and Andrew’s numbers for lower prices. Her accounts usually don’t last more than a few days or weeks before being mass-reported by sudden alliances of different fandoms and then deleted. It does nothing to deter her. She hits her keyboard again and is back to selling phone numbers within the hour.

She seems to specialize in doxxing. She was the first to announce that Jaeseop moved out of the Fable dorms and in with his girlfriend, later adding on her full name, workplace, and parents’ names. Eunmyeong didn’t have anything to say about that and she spends all day outside of Fable’s building. Ria was also responsible for a leak of Haksu’s private Instagram that made few waves other than outrage over the invasion of privacy because everyone discovered he was pretty boring and he didn’t post anything too different from his public Instagram. Somehow this did nothing to curtail anyone’s interest in him.

— she loved this so much that she decided to put it as her weverse profile for fan’s enjoyment.

— she always wanted to do one of those ‘wet photoshoots’. she had so much fun (even though she freezing half of the time.

— she was the one who choose the clothing for this photoshoot.

album facts:

— the mv was filmed during seventeen’s tour. they filmed it in various different places, it doesn’t have a specific place.

— most of the dresses used by her in the mv were design made just for her.

— the members used to visit the mv sets a lot, nari was super happy that she wasn’t alone during it.

— she wrote all of the songs, she had some people co-writing with her and she felt really proud of the ending result.

— nari was so happy when rm accepted her invite to participate in the song without a second thought. he even wrote his rap part by himself.

— ‘play’ became a hit really quickly due to its addictive and fresh sound, the choreography (even though it’s quite difficult) was well accepted and turned into a challenge on tiktok.

— some songs, like ah puh! and love me out loud, were made a long time ago. she always wanted to release it and found the release of her first mini album the perfect opportunity to do so.

— for the production part nari only wanted woozi and bumzu to do it. she also participated and was really excited to work with the geniuses once again.

— the choreography was created by kim eun-ju and lia kim, nari also participated but it was mostly done by them.

— she was even more happy when her idea of an mv for dream of you got accepted by the company. nari sang the entire song in english, the main reason why it’s a special track.

— her solo album sold over 480k+ album while on the pre-order period. it got to 785k+ sales on the first week.

— one of the fastest selling female soloists, people were really impressed by her fame. she was expected to sell hundreds of thousands but netizens were still surprised by the amount.

I got the 2014 Summer Package when it first went up for sale, from Soompi's signed specials in the shop they no longer have. I actually pulled Jin for it, and spent *forever* trying to find a Suga, but eventually someone looking to sell this card took pity on me and traded for the Jin card and $10 haha. I love how sweet and tiny he looks in this card, and I simply adore it!

BTS Tutorial: Buying vs. Streaming

Attention puppykitties!

On March 24th, Jimin's album FACE is up against titans, including Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey. His antis have stated they WILL be giving them boosts just so he will rank even lower.

In addition, we will never get radio play like those artists because BTS will not bow to payola rules and pay for play. BTS has only ARMY.

So the best way to counteract that deficit is to buy the album. For example, you can chart a song by streaming it 150 times or buy it once, and it's the same count toward Billboard.

Jimin's album has 6 songs and is under a half hour long, so you can stream 900 songs nonstop for a day and a half, or you can buy 1 album. Given there are charts that count for 24 hours and for a week, buying is often the most expedient way to guarantee a spot on the Hot 100 and BB200.

For US and Puerto Rico, digital and physical albums are given the same weight in the charts (except for in WeVerse--digital songs in that platform do not count for Billboard).

I'm gonna link to Amazon CDs that will count for charts because Amazon products can be tricky with sellers from all over the world. I think you'll easily be able to find the albums on WeVerse (the digitals won't count toward Billboard but the CDs will) and the digitals on iTunes (this will count as a pure digital sale).

Also at Target--it can be a little tricky because the cheaper version for $19.99 doesn't let you choose which version you end up getting. So here are both albums:

Now, let me say to my friends on here who are pinching pennies out of necessity: YOU ARE NO LESS OF AN ARMY IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY ALBUMS. Nor are you less of an ARMY if you have to prioritize the typically cheaper digital version (it still counts, it just makes the artists a little less money and you don't get stuff like photocards and all). I'd love it if you could reach out to funding accounts for help; they often will prioritize digital and that totally counts too, both for charts and awards in Korea.

Whatever you do, be really careful of bundle deals with a bunch of ancillary accessories as those often will NOT count for Billboard--be sure to check before buying.

And even if all you do is stream on free trial premium YouTube and Spotify accounts, you are still helping. So no shame. No censure.

The reason we have success as an ARMY is so we can each of us contribute to the best of our abilities, and cover for each other when we need to tap out. If you're not in the US or Puerto Rico, you can stream in a different time zone and give those ARMYs some much needed rest or a chance to work at their jobs.

We all have our part to play.

So cover for other ARMY however you're able!

Whatever you can do, do it and take it seriously!

i'll be revealing the first object in a week approximately & it will be posted on here! if any likes it i'll put it on sale on etsy but to give you an idea of what products i want to create i'll tell you a little more: working music instruments such as guitars & ukulele (will add more if people buy) but they will have unique designs inspired from the bts universe as i said. there will also be decorative music instruments so small sized guitars etc that you can put on a desk or a shelve to decorate!

also don't want to spoil this one too much but I'm working on making a kit inspired by bts' hyyh era, there will be multiple of those! the kits will have several items in it & i really think armys will like those! i will reveal the first kit in 1 week or 2 :]

btw i'll try my best to make the products financially available for those of you who have lower incomes, i know the struggle of looking at something u really wanna buy so badly for hours & still thinking abt it days after closing the damn link to it lmao so yeah even if u have low income you're welcome to follow I'm sure you'll find great products at an affordable :]

I can’t really knock it cause it’s not really incentive from what I read. Like how with fan meets, they’ll require you to buy an album to even enter. It’s just a raffle to get them in general, but still all this effort and promo? They really shoulda just came out and called this thing a single like they did it for Take Two cause at least it wouldn’t have come off so fake and tacky as it has. And if Hybe or JK come out this week (if it does chart) tryna play up the “fan” aspect of it, like they didn’t just piggy back off festa and BTS sentiments to try and weasel a semi hit song for that man out of it, it’s really gon irritate me bad.
