Who is a night owl: Both, smoking a joint and talking until they both fall asleep.

Who is a morning person: Tj, who then tries to wake her with kisses.

Are they cuddlers: The annoying kind, yes.

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon: Tj is always the big spoon, since she’s more dominant in other areas and likes to feel protected.

What is their favourite sleeping position: Cuddling like two koala bears.

Who steals all the blankets: They fight for them, which mostly results in sleeping without them because they end up on the floor.

What they wear to bed: Usually nothing, rarely he wears boxers and she wears one of his ridiculous logo t-shirts.

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: Tj, because it’s hilarious.

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Sometimes neither, sometimes Tj, because Bex can talk for hours about the most random things.  

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Bex, who then wakes him up and they end up watching Harry Potter.

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: Bex, sometimes on accident, sometimes on purpose so he’d wake up.

Who can’t keep their hands to themself: Both.

Ilulu's design - do you not like it because of the unbelievably large chest? I personally think it's a bit much 😅

I actually really like her as a character, something I'm very surprised about because her design. But said design still makes it very hard to take her seriously.

-Her titties are way too big; if they wanted a big-breasted character, Lucoa, a full blown woman, is literally right there. Why the fuck is the very obviously teen character huge-chested other than the very obvious "fan-service"? I can't stand the "boob-loli" design archetype. Big boobs aren't inherently sexual but we all know why they gave Ilulu big titties. Aaaand I can very much do without, thanks.

I do find it funny that her boobs literally don't even fit on her they're so ridiculously big; like if you look at her from the back, they aren't there. But if you look at her design from the front they expend past her shoulders and ribcage and it's so goofy-lookin.

-Her dress is too short. Again it isn't inherently sexual but there's a very specific reason they gave Ilulu that dress and once again, I can't vibe. Bruh. Give the child some pants for god's sake. Or at least something that actually fit her. :/

-I hate that they try to bounce around with her age in the show. They tried to introduce her as being "Tohru's age", but throughout all of her interactions with every character she's treated as a child or a youngster. The fact that they had to repeatedly say "haha she's Tohru's age don't worry" is a red flag to me; if she was, they wouldn't make a point of constantly reinforcing it. No the fuck she ain't. That there's a minor. She's, at most, 16, and lo and behold guess what age she ended up equating to in human form because it was the most accurate. Fuckin.

TL;DR Ilulu as a character is mostly fine, but her design burns my onions like bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. This has been my salt talk. Thank you, I'm here all week. :)

final thoughts

so, finally after watching the season for the last couple of days i went to the tags to check the art and stuff and... i don’t wanna get too involved because i don’t give much of a rat’s ass about the issue but. the people harassing the production of the show are kids or actual adults? dude people reeeeally have nothing to do these days huh... y’all weird af. anyway.

the season was sooooo cool. i like that they took the time in one episode to explain how earth has prepared for the invasion, and before, in another episode letting Sam explain eeeverything that’s happening in space. sometimes in movies and tv shows they just skip the part where the cards are laid out just because it’s “too much work”, which sucks because i think it helps with organizing information for the viewers. i think that’s the part that surprised me the most about the show.

keith’s leadership skills developed sooo much, i think before and after they got to earth. and shiro just. let him be, didn’t try to tell him what to do at any point, which was great since so many times in real life we have people who previously occupied the spot we’re on telling us how to do stuff. he’s the absolute best. that scene where keith and hunk talked, man, that was sweet. i think it was a pivotal point in keith’s development, being able to talk to his team mates and reassuring them, and all those leadership skills.

the new castle of lions is called atlas AND it’s also a gigantic robot with thicc legs huh! and of course there’s this duality between keith being the leader of voltron and shiro being the leader of the garrison (not sure but for sure)

the ending! so glad they didn’t just let the whole there’re still alteans alive thing go away. especially because there’s also the thing with allura’s crystal going into shiro’s arm and having aaaaaaall of those new abilities going on! so much to explain there. i’ve said in one of my posts, but shiro is probably part altean now. half altean shiro and half galran keith bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh this is the dream

lance and allura are definitely a thing now, happy for y’all non-problematic shippers out there! 

acxa, what’s her deal. i’m clearly rooting for shiro and keith y’all, and obviously i wouldn’t like to see keith and acxa being a romantic thing. i think it would be neat to see them as buddies, so as to counter that whole males and females can’t be friends thing. kinda like pidge’s relationship with hunk. but if that’s where they’re going, whatever will i do.

those scenes at the end showing earth being rebuilt and welcoming the coalition. earth being friends with all the good aliens yay!

those 4 kids and veronica. not much to say about them. i still don’t like the one who had a beef with keith, but we’ll get there maybe. 

aaaaaaa the animation, music, voice acting, daaaaamn. so pretty. so well done. i can’t help but from time to time wonder how they did some scenes, or how they drew this and that. and the colors and shit. so cool. people can be so talented

the structure of the storyline was good imo. maybe at some points i think they overdid it, especially with shiro forming a new gigantic robot. it was cool sure, but it made no sense and it was a bit far fetched

the other thing that bugged me the most. the fact that at no point in the whole season does shiro have time to either rest, or do we see him acknowledging the fact that he’s got a new body and stuff. like. it feels like they neglected that part... maybe next season. the other thing i think they neglected and that leads me to my last point... keith and shiro needing to talk about the fight. i mean, keith is sporting a huge scar on his face, no way shiro feels good about that. does he even remember? he has to right? ughhhh these kind of deeper emotional stories of the characters being left unexplained and unlaid out and unsolved bugs me in waaaaaaays. please please dont let it go unnoticed in the next season. about sheith, of course i had expactations. but i also knew that when they talked about one relationship that’s been growing since the beginning being acklowledged now i knew it had to be allurance. which is okay. about time. and i can’t complain much when we had keith save shiro YET AGAIN. as many times as it takes indeed. and then he. craddled him. in his arms??? okay. alright i’m happy with that,,,,, and it looked so much more personal with keith actually leaving the lion to kill sendak with his own hands. ah loved it. so dramatic.

this is longer that i thought it would be. i have no one to talk to about this show so i just had to lay it all here at almost 4 in the morning. whoever reads this till the end, feel free to tell me if there’s something you don’t agree with, i’d love to talk to you about this season.
