The sequel to this imagine! and dedicated to the wonderful @cambotblogmode who wanted to know when we’d meet the band. (also shoutout to my mother for providing the band name).

'What if they don't like me?' the worry has been nagging you all day. Your brain keeps playing out scenarios of how it could all go wrong. Dating Enjolras has been a dream. He's kind, thoughtful, and never hesitates to spoil you. You know you're secure in his affections.

His band is an entirely different matter. You might be his reason for living, but The Sewer Rats are his life. He's admitted several times that without his music he'd be a withered husk of a person.

'They're going to love you,' Enjolras assures you. 'They're so excited to meet you.'

Despite his reassurances, you're still nervous. Enjolras is the pretty boy frontman - what if they think you're not good enough for him?

Your heart is in your mouth as you arrive at band practice. Everyone else is already there. Myriel is tuning his accordion while Javert and Babet share a blunt and discuss potential lyrics for a new song. None of them look up until Enjolras clears his throat.

'Guys, I want you to meet Y/N. My girlfriend.'

Your heart flutters, as it always does when he refers to you thus.

They look up.

'Oh, hey!' Babet says. 'Enjolras will not stop talking about you.'

'Yeah, it's like, you've cast like, a spell on him,' Javert agrees, handing the blunt back to Babet and picking up his kazoo.

'They're just teasing, Y/N,' Enjolras assures you, with a quick squeeze of your hand.

Still holding his accordion, Myriel approaches you. Enjolras gave you pretty detailed descriptions of everyone on the way over so you'd recognise them, but you still weren't prepared for Myriel's face tattoos.

'Good to meet you,' he says, politely. He glances down, and gasps. 'Y/N... I hope this isn't weird to say, but you have the most beautiful feet.'

'Thank you!' you flex your toes appreciatively. It has quite the effect on Myriel - an embarrassing bulge appears at the front of his acid washed skinny jeans.

Javert and Babet come over to say hello, too.

'Damn, you're cute,' Javert whistles. 'Listen, any time Enjolras gets too righteous for you, give me a call.'

'I'm seconding that,' Babet nods. Up close, you realise he's wearing a #bronypride shirt. You're not sure what to do with that information.

'I'm glad you like her,' Enjolras says. 'I mean, I knew you would. Y/N is amazing.'

You blush. 'I'm not that cool.'

'You've got the patience of a saint, if you're able to put up with Enjolras here,' Myriel chips in. 'Also, just so you know, I give the best foot massages.'

Before long, you're chatting happily with all three of them. Enjolras stands at your side, proud as anything.

'You should, like, totally join the band!' Javert says. The others nod rapidly in agreement.

'Do you play anything?' Babet wants to know.

'Um. Not really. But I do sing.'

'She's amazing,' Enjolras confirms. 'I've heard her in the shower. Taylor Swift who?'

His bandmates gasp. They've never heard him badmouth his idol before.

'Well, Y/N,' Myriel says. 'What do you say? Do you wanna join The Sewer Rats?'

☠Tempest Makeup Test☠ Hey everyone! I got one of my possible wigs for Tempest on the mail aaand immediately did a makeup test. I couldn't for the life of me find a wig cap(which you can now clearly see the importance of-yikes) but overall I really liked the way it looked!
