Cheat on Your Bank—It’s Not Your Girlfriend
When it comes to banks, I am a proud philanderer. Practically a libertine! A player! I keep money here, I keep money there… it all depends on what’s most useful and effective for both my long- and short-term money goals. Here’s where I keep my money and why:
Bank 1: A large regional bank with lots of branches and ATMs in my area. Home of my checking and savings accounts. I keep these two accounts at the same bank so I can easily and quickly transfer between them.
Bank 2: An online-only bank. This is where I have the high yield savings account that I use as my emergency fund.
Bank 3: It’s fucking Vanguard, y’all. Birthplace of the low-cost index fund itself. Here I have my Roth IRA and non-retirement general brokerage account.
Bank 4: The bank my employer uses for employee retirement accounts. I don’t really have a choice on this one, so it’s just where my 401(k) lives.
Bank 5: Our beloved sponsor Acorns, because here at Bitches Get Riches, we practice what we preach. This is my happy little micro-investing account.
Start investing today with Acorns
Bank 6: Home of my very first credit card, Credit Card A. Because a long credit history is good for my credit score, I’ll likely never close this card. This is also where I keep the joint checking account I share with my husband for bills and household maintenance. This bank is the only one we share, as our finances are mostly separate.
Bank 7: Home of my second credit card, Credit Card B… which comes with a sweet rewards program.
Bank 8: Last but not least, this is a bank that specializes in small business banking. And it’s where Kitty and I keep the joint business checking account that we use for Bitches Get Riches.
That’s eight banks. I’m basically the titular boy in Brandy and Monica’s 1998 classic The Boy Is Mine.

Apparently undaunted by the recent Wall Street disaster, a brokerage house at 55 Broadway installed this new ticker, December 5, 1929. It was designed to handle multi-million trades a day with ease.

anyone else notice how a lot of real power has been returned to the modern equivalent of the priestly caste after having spent about two centuries in the hands of industrialists and landowners, returning to a social order resembling feudalism more so than early capitalism ?

I AM A BROKE COLLEGE STUDENT who vowed to actually budget my money and use it wisely-
BUT when a Cult of the lamb is on SALE of having a 35% off discount in steam—
. . .
I WILL DO WHAT NEED TO BE DONE...
IM OFF TO GO TO WASTE MY MONEY JUST FOR LAMB TO MARRY NARINDER🏃🏻‍♀️💨
..I will speed run the game if I have to.....
...I shall also then make fan art of them...

pov: you just lost a friend
i-i dont know how to begin this time, i mean this was supposed to last you were supposed to last we were supposed to last
i mean- what am i to do with our promises? our inside jokes? our plans? our conversations? our bucket-lists? our dreams? with everything that we planned
everything that we planned will just become a distant memory in my life
you were meant to stay, weren't you?
we knew, forever is a myth so we wished just to remain friends til the end
but you just ended it, didn't you?

My hottest sincere AI art take: I actually do genuinely hope this tech steals the jobs of everyone working artistically in the commercial ad industry and makes them get jobs that actually produce anything of value for society. Maybe they can do something good for the community such as drawing experimental porn for a living instead of being a part of the industry which at this point mostly exists for the purpose of doing digital gangstalking to sell people fake therapy apps that will someday help your insurance company deny your chemo claims.

Hi BGR,
I want to get involved in investing but don't know if I should do a IRA(probably roth bc I'm only 20 and a student/working part time) or if I should just go for a normal brokerage account. Ideally, the money will go towards retirement in the very end, but I'm worried if I'll ever need the emergency funds for something and not be able to access them if they're in an IRA. Thoughts?
Why not both?
Personally, I'd start with a Roth IRA. It's tax-advantaged, which means your money has the potential to go a lot farther. Thought you're right that a non-retirement brokerage account is easier to access in the event of an emergency. So here's your order of operations, precious:
Establish an emergency fund. Here's how.
Open a Roth IRA. Here's how.
Open a brokerage fund and start splitting your investments between it and the IRA. Here's how.
Good luck, precious child!

This is what ticker tape really looked like, March 26, 1942. The stuff pouring out of the machine for a clerk at Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Beane is like something out of a cartoon—I can see it going and going until it fills up the room.

What is Freight Brokerage & Freight Forwarding Software
What is Freight brokerage and freight forwarding software?
Freight brokerage software allows a shipper to find carriers, manage the rates or tariffs as well as the contracts, and even track shipments. This eliminates the difficulties involved in the procedure and helps in making the admittance of new companies efficient as well as easy by automating these tasks. Freight forwarding software on another hand covers everything to do with shipping, from documents to storage and most importantly legal compliance with trade laws. Therefore, while brokerage software is primarily into matching shippers with carriers, forwarding is a software that handles the entire shipping process. Considering these disparities makes the functioning of transport brokers more effective and has a strong effect on the outcomes of their cooperation with clients.

Benefits of Using Freight Forwarding and Brokerage Software
Operational Efficiency
Freight forwarding and brokerage software significantly streamline operations, automating tasks such as load board management and carrier selection, which reduces manual efforts and enhances efficiency. Real-time tracking and automated notifications ensure smooth operational flow, minimising delays and errors.
Cost Savings
Implementing this software leads to direct cost savings by optimising route selection and reducing idle times, thereby cutting down on fuel and maintenance expenses. Automated invoice management and accurate rate calculations prevent financial discrepancies and reduce administrative costs.
Scalability
The software adapts to business growth, allowing easy integration of additional modules as needed. This flexibility supports expanding operational demands without the need for significant system overhauls, making it a future-proof investment.
Improved Tracking and Visibility
Advanced tracking features provide real-time data on shipments, enhancing visibility across the supply chain. This transparency helps in better managing expectations and reduces the risk of shipment delays.
Better Customer Service
Freight software enhances customer service by providing detailed tracking information and efficient issue resolution processes. This increases customer satisfaction and fosters loyalty.
Data Insights and Reporting
Comprehensive analytics tools offered by these software systems enable detailed performance monitoring and decision-making support. Insights gained from real-time data help in identifying inefficiencies and improving overall business strategies.
Conclusion
All these digital solutions are not only expected to improve flexibility in the operational processes but also to maximise cost efficiency and customer experience. To them they hold the potential of offering even more optimization, helping logistics specialists fine-tune solution provision. It’s important for organisations to adopt these technologies as they provide a competitive advantage through optimisation and valuable business intelligence. In this case, the integration of such systems is a business strategy well embraced by companies in the transport commission agent business due to ever changing market opportunities in the expanding global economy. Overall, the use of advanced freight software is not a trend but a revolution for FDI that opens the future of global logistics facilitating transnational business.

....his parents retired w/o a full retirement plan
........and have been going on vacations on credit cards while eating cup noodles to keep up appearances
................cause they thought they could shame us into giving them a 2k a month allowance
.........................cause it's "not fair" my mom retired at 53 w/ cancer, and they should retire at 53 too (she pulled her pension w/ a 20k/year penalty cause her immune system is too bad to be in a classroom)
....and they think we're paying for her retirement cause how can a "single mother" have that much money (which uh, we do sometimes help her with physical things cause mastectomy affected her right arm strength, but she's by far financially independent and i have to pressure her to /not/ give me money)
errrrrr i hope the crash is delayed by two years so his siblings are both adults, but i think this crash out is gonna be hilarious 😂 i feel mean????
like i thought it was his mom lying once they retired uh no....they just decided to stop working without a real plan uh, that's not being retired that's being a bum?
