Just found out the man I wanted to spend my life with and can’t stop thinking about no matter how hard I try only sees me as a friend he can give money to, take on dates, have sex with, and talk about whatever he’d like. But a friend none the less. With no future. And no solid commitment that he’ll be there for me. A friend who isn’t even allowed to be around his other friends. A friend that��s separated and hidden in a little corner of his life to use as he pleases.

He was my bf for two years. Now we’re “friends.” I feel so empty hearted. True love is a joke. There are no happy endings kids. This is the real world.

It’s all my fault. I will take the blame. I mean if you share/give love all day, you are bound to receive it. And for that, I’m truly grateful that I see the universe and the universe sure does see me.

But hold up, where the fuck was THIS ENERGY when y’all had the opportunity to breathe the same air as me.

Abeg, PLEASE KEEP your proposals, your reasons for missing me, your “ I want you to be mine and mines only”, your “ why does It sound like you are not happy I’m coming over there to see you”, your “ I’m gonna wife you up again”, et cetera etc. TO YOURSELVES

This is the reason why I can’t properly sleep because mfrs have me on their minds all damn day. Like stopppp, YOUR WORDS MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ME. You had your chance and you fuckin blew it. I gave you my heart, got stuck for 12 years… only to have my hard work burned to the ground and having to pick myself up from the ashes. And I’m not building anyone up to be let down again.

It just makes me soooo sad because what am I supposed to do with all of this. I don’t take any of these professions of love lightly. And honestly, how does one truly respond to this conundrum?

P.s. What I do know is there must be some dry, dead ass personalities out there 😌
