I made some pov videos to post on my accounts - TikTok and Instagram -, which I really didn't take long to bring a coincidence in the universe of Evil Dead Rise, let's call it that...

Danny’s favorite auntie is Beth (assuming Jay has any sister)

You literally can’t convince me I’m wrong.

Beth however DOESNT have a favorite because

Danny is her musically inclined nephew so of course she taught him some stuff.

Bridge is her rock and roll feminists protesting nieces (who she’s definitely been to a protest with once or twice)

And kassie— well Kassie is the baby so of course but also just rockstar in the making lol.

Beth regrets being away from Ellie and the kids so much but when Ellie got married Beth swore she wouldn’t continue to be a burden (Ellie would kill her if she knew she though of herself as a burden). However she also knew that she relied to much on Ellie that if she stayed close she would inevitably fall into childhood habits of being clingy. (She’s not clingy she just never had anyone other than Ellie)

At the end of the day, she would do anything for them.

another fucked up (and really cool) thing about the evil dead rise deadites that I’ve deffo seen someone else mention is the way that bridget particularly is kind of infantised by hers.

in the “I gotta kill the creepy crawlies I got inside my tummy!” part, she’s kind of speaking in a manner that’s closer to a kid of kassie’s age as opposed to a teenager. it’s deffo in my mind the deadite emphasising that bridget was a kid to make the whole thing extra messed up for beth.

I watched Evil Dead Rise last night and I’m in love with Danny. God I need to be sedated. Bridget’s so fucking pretty, I can’t even. Ellie’s fucking gorgeous. At least we know who the kids got their god genetics from. Beth was so hot covered in blood. I was very worried for Kassie the whole time, poor kid 💔

bringing him back scared the shit out of you

basically had to bury him in his bedsheets and somehow in some way, Beth got her hands on a defibrillator

she said something about it being in Fonda's room but you had no time to think

beth was over losing her family and you were too

danny wasn't meant to die, your straight hope of him surviving and not giving up on him is the only thing that saved him

kind of like that fear street scene of Sam dying and being brought back but with a fucking defibrillator instead of straight adrenaline shots and overdosing

restarting his heart and not being met with a deadite actually scared the hell out of you

he's knocked down for a while but he's able to escape the monde

BRIDGET

you were able to shove ellies medication into her mouth while she was knocked out after the first fight

maybe having her unconsciously od could possibly save her? who knows

you watched a couple movies of this kind of thing working, just having to restart her heart and hope the demon wouldn't be there

although it took a painfully long time, you were able to save her with epipens

a lot of them

from Gabriel's fridge

for a little while she's basically a walking corpse but she's able to survive

KASSIE

holy shit seeing her dead killed you inside

anger and sadness just took over and you manually brought her back to life

lots of cpr and epipens involved

but she ended up living

you gave up after a solid 10 minutes thinking she was dead but she was just knocked out cold by that point

I'd be surprised if her brain wasn't bleeding by then bc wtf

she's thrown into a wall, knocking her dead while fighting the abomination monster thing

you're able to kill it before saving Beth

she was on hella drugs already, so epipens and said drugs literally saved her

kassie crying while watching you try to save her aunt

shit she barely even knows you and she's crying into your chest

she takes a while to open her eyes but she's okay

"told you drugs are cool"

you wonder if she planned this out or not cause like??

you single handedly stop the deadite spread

you're able to knock her down, use fondas defibrillator that he just has laying around (????), and revive her

basically restart her heart

she was dead for like 5 minutes solid before Beth calls the police from a landline on the street

"how the hell did you do that????"

"I don't even fucking know"

yall never talk about it again

you and danny hide the book back down under the parking garage and never speak of it again
