Oh wow. Today's entry is something else. I remembered the scene with the three vampire women was memorable, but the sheer tension of it, the way Jonathan describes being torn between desire and terror. An agony of delightful anticipation. No wonder people have been thirsting after vampires for decades, holy shit.

Touga and Kozue have maybe the most amicable relationship of any two characters with Parallels(TM) in Utena, and the entire cast (particularly Miki) is incredibly lucky that they only acted as partners in crime once.

small life update but last week i went to oomfs wedding and it's actually kinda insane without this site and seventeen we never would've met 😭 i'm so thankful for tumblr even though i'm never on here as much and most of my mutuals have moved on and don't make content anymore but we still keep in touch and it's amazing i've found lifelong friends from this site. i just had to let that out LOL

That was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to. The ceremony was in a clearing in a meadow that stretched for miles. Distant blue forest and high hills around us and fields of flowers and bluegrass. There was a far off field of sheep behind the alter (which was really just flowers on the ground). The party was so fun and thankfully the music wasn’t too loud haha, and the drinks were amazing.

Moving away from my family and then coming back for my nephew's wedding is so painful because now that I've been gone for a year I really do feel like an outsider. All my life I've felt like that in my family, I'm adopted and have always felt like a burden. My mom blood wise is technically my aunt and they were the only ones who could take me in. When they got me both parents were going through a midlife crisis so my sister and her husband had to take care of me and they are very toxic abusive people. Let me put it this way when they took care of me I was angry and mean little child and when my mom took over I became a sweet little crybaby because I wasn't getting beat up all the time.

All my life I've been neglected and just pushed off to people. My bio parents for the first 6 months they had me never picked me up or did nothing with me and I was half dead and filthy when my adopted parents got me. So you see why they had to take me in. I know they have love for me in there own toxic way but let me put it this way.

As you like it!! I'm really surprised that literally no one had the idea of adapting it into an opera. Gimme a soprano/mezzo Rosalind and a himbo tenor Orlando!!! Also add a soprano Celia and a baritone Oliver, and we're good to go! There's so many other character I could voice type, but that's not the post to do it imo.

Maybe also Persuasion..? If we're talking about Jane Austen. I know about do an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and one of Mansfield Park, but that's about it.

I think many of Agatha Christie's works should be adapted into operas, especially Murder on the Orient-Express.

I'm sure there's more I have come up with, but I can't remember.

a qquick photoshoot of my Mazda 323 BF with a FE3 engine swop. Here are some of the mods done to it:

Imported Fe3 motor with oem Mazda 323 200i parts, FE5A cams. 63mm stainless exhaust with v bands, flex joint, resonator, and apexi muffler. Big aluminum radiator.

200i front and rear brakes (disc conversion), steel braided hoses, poly bushes, front and rear strut braces, 200i front sway bar, yellow speed coilovers, 15" ssw wheels.

Custom side splitters and Mazda OEM roof and rear diffuser, oem Cressida front lip

Bride bucket seats, stripped rear interior, Defi oil pressure and oil temp gauges.

Interior and underbody have been rubberized.
