ok but for real, i love that a lot of us were all sticking to the theory that a strain of jenova was playing a part in the robio events, but now we have a very important counterpoint to this whole theory, who i now see as a genius addition: bachman

bachman is... just a guy; he's somewhat punchable because his concern for sephiroth's well being is extremely dubious... he seems more interested in seeing the secrets of the area, even if sephiroth's clearly unwell

but regardless of his position towards sephiroth, he is still just a guy

he's not a combatant, he doesn't have jenova cells and so, he's the closest to a regular civilian in this team

unless he's suffered a significant contamination of jenova cells, he shouldn't be influenced, possessed or affected at all by a jenova based strain, unlike alissa, angeal and sephiroth, who are soldiers

and yet, he's being affected by whatever is in the area

i don't think it's jenova...
