Welp. I thought I was gonna get through without asking for money. But my pupper isn’t doing well. She has almost completely de-furred her tail, leaving raw skin on most of it, her nose is warm and crusty, and she’s been lethargic. I need to take her to the vet asap (tomorrow) & I only have about $20 right now. It’ll probably be $100 for vet visit & antibiotics. Boosts appreciated, any money anyone can spare appreciated. I’m really worried about her.

I’ll spare you pictures of her as she looks right now, in cone and miserable, but here is a cute picture of her doing a head tilt with ear scratch from earlier this month as a thank you.

Vi's Selfies Event
Tumblr media
This one's all about being self indulgent. self shipping. self love. etcetc. So many folks are shy about self shipping and for silly reasons. That's why I'm here to say fuck it for you. For the next week or so, we're celebrating the joys of daydreaming about your faves.
Tumblr media
"But that's cringe, virtue." Disrespectfully fuck off. If someone wants to bitch or judge anyone having some good, harmless, self-soothing fun, they're not welcome here...Now that that's outta the way, lets talk about how this is gonna go down :)
Tumblr media
You (yes, YOU!) are going to send me an ask about the self ship of your choice. Tell me a bit about yourself. Tell me a bit about your character (I don't know every anime super well so this could be really important if its not tokrev or another one I'm really engaged with). Send a mood board or playlist or anything you think will help me appreciate the dynamic! Pic crews of you and your fave are welcome!
In return you'll get me gushing over you and your fave. Simple as that. Some little headcanons or scenarios for you to ponder, and probably some questions about your beloved self ship dynamic!
Tumblr media
Important notes and rules:
Unless you explicitly request me not to, the ask will be published with your silly lil head canons or scenarios.
You don't have to be a moot, but I will not accept anons for this event for logistical reasons. PLUS this is unabashed self shipping! Nothing but resounding support here so no need for anon!
I will only answer one ask per person - so choose your self ship carefully!
You are not restricted to TokRev, but know I may not be very familiar with your character and that might affect the kind of content you get back.
I may get a little suggestive in the HCs so clearly state somewhere in your ask if a little suggestive content is a hard no
Be respectful to anyone and everyone else who takes part and consider interacting more with others' self ships.
I still reserve the right to refuse an ask if I feel uncomfortable, I don't expect that to happen, but I'd like to disclaim that upfront anyway
Block SelfVi's Event if you dont want to see this
So if you ever needed a sign that it's okay to talk about your self ship, consider this it and drop by for the SelfVi's event :)

Double the Joy
Chris Sturniolo x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/N and Chris, discover they’re expecting a baby. With the support of Nick and Matt, they face the joys and challenges of pregnancy as they prepare for their new life together.
Words: 8.4k
Warnings: Pregnancy, crying, not proofread
•┈┈┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈┈┈•
You and Chris had always been inseparable. Born just one day apart in the same hospital, your moms shared a recovery room, and you’d been told countless times how they joked about the four of you being best friends for life. The bond formed between you and the Sturniolo triplets had been unshakable from day one. You grew up together, went to school together and when high school came, the teasing began.
“Come on, it’s so obvious,” Matt would say, side-eyeing the two of you with a smirk whenever you and Chris would hang out, which was often.
Nick, always dramatic, would stretch his arms wide and proclaim, “Soulmates! They’re soulmates, just admit it!”
At first, it was just jokes. Everyone knew the four of you were close. But then, somewhere in the mess of high school, it changed. The teasing stopped being jokes and started feeling like foreshadowing. One night, the two of you were sitting in his car, talking about everything and nothing, when he said: “I don’t want just to be your friend anymore.”
You’d been dating ever since.
Now, you were both twenty, only a week away from turning twenty-one, and life was good. More than good, actually. The triplets’ YouTube career was taking off in ways none of you had expected. You were thriving in your own ways too, doing some work behind the scenes with their content, but also carving out your own path. Everything was moving forward at the speed of light, and the future seemed so, so bright.
Until one afternoon. You stood in your bathroom, staring at the pregnancy test in your hand, everything in your world crashing to a sudden, terrifying halt.
You swallowed hard, your heart thundering in your chest. It was Positive. The two pink lines were unmistakable. There was no misreading it. Your hand trembled as you set the test on the bathroom counter, your mind spinning out of control. This wasn’t part of the plan. None of this was part of the plan.
You weren’t ready for this — for a baby. You were twenty, for God’s sake. You and Chris were both on the verge of hitting your stride in life, finally coming into yourselves and your careers. The thought of a baby, now, in the middle of all of it… It terrified you. What if this will ruin everything? What if Chris… What if he will leave you?
That thought settled in your chest like a weight, making it hard to breathe. You could almost hear the words, echoing in your mind.
“I can’t do this, Y/N.”
You sat down on the cold bathroom floor, curling your knees to your chest. The fear was choking you, making it impossible to think straight.
Suddenly, you felt a rush of overwhelming emotion — fear, panic, guilt. It all crashed over you in waves, and you grabbed your phone with shaking hands. There was only one person you could call right now. Nick.
You didn’t have a girl best friend, not like most girls your age did. You’d always gravitated toward the guys — Matt, Chris, and Nick.
But with Nick, there was something different. A deeper connection. You both understood each other in a way that no one else could, and Nick had always been there when you needed him the most.
You scrolled through your contacts, finding his name and hitting the call button before you could second-guess yourself.
“Hey Girl, what’s up?” Nick’s voice came through the phone almost immediately, light and teasing like usual.
“I’m pregnant.”
The words were out before you could stop them. You hadn’t even said hello. It just slipped out, raw and unfiltered, your voice shaky and full of panic.
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, you thought maybe the call had dropped. But then you heard Nick breathe, a sharp inhale.
“What the fuck did you just say?” His voice cracked in disbelief.
“I’m pregnant, Nick,” you whispered, and just saying it out loud again made your stomach drop. You didn’t even realize you were crying until the tears started falling onto your lap.
“I’m on my way,” he said, voice serious now, all playfulness gone. “Stay where you are. I’m coming down.”
You, Chris, Matt, Nick, and You all live in the same apartment complex, with Nick and Matt living two stories above you and Chris.
Not even five minutes later, Nick was at your door, his knuckles rapping against the wood before you’d even gotten up from your spot on the floor. You wiped your eyes with the back of your hand, trying to pull yourself together enough to open the door.
When you swung it open, Nick stood there, his wide brown eyes full of concern and a little bit of shock. He looked at you for a split second, and then, without a word, pushed his way inside.
“Bitch, you’re what?”
His voice was louder than you expected, and that’s all it took. You broke. Right there in the middle of your living room, you collapsed onto the couch, your face buried in your hands as sobs shook through you.
Nick was by your side in an instant, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close. His voice softened, his hand running gently over your back. “Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m here.”
“I’m so scared, Nick,” you whispered, barely able to speak through the tears. “What if Chris… What if he leaves? I can’t—”
“Chris is not going to leave you,” Nick said firmly, his voice steady. “You hear me? He’s not. You two are meant for each other. He loves you. He’s gonna freak out a little, sure, but he’s not going anywhere.”
You leaned into him, your head resting against his shoulder. The panic was still there, swirling in your chest, but Nick’s calm presence was like an anchor, keeping you grounded when you felt like you were drowning.
“I don’t know what to do,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Nick pulled back slightly, just enough so that he could look you in the eyes. “First of all, you’re not alone in this. You’ve got me, Matt, and Chris. We’ll figure this out together, okay? You’re not gonna do this by yourself.”
You nodded, but the tears kept coming. You couldn’t shake the fear — the overwhelming dread that this was going to change everything. That you were going to lose everything.
Nick pulled you into another hug, tighter this time, and you let yourself melt into it. For a moment, you felt safe. But then you heard the sound of keys jingling in the hallway, followed by the front door creaking open.
Your heart stopped.
It was Chris.
“Hey, babe, I—”
Chris’s voice trailed off as soon as he stepped inside and saw Nick sitting on the couch with you, his arm still around your shoulders. His brow furrowed in confusion, and he shifted awkwardly by the door, clearly not expecting to walk into this scene.
“Uh, Nick? What’s going on?” Chris asked, glancing between the two of you, his voice laced with concern. “Why are you here? Is everything okay?”
You couldn’t speak. Your throat felt tight, and your hands were shaking again. This was it. This was the moment. You could feel the panic rising inside you all over again, but before you could say anything, Nick stood up, moving away from you to give you space.
“Chris, you might wanna sit down for this,” Nick said, crossing his arms and nodding toward the chair across from the couch.
Chris’s eyes darted from Nick to you, clearly confused, but he did as Nick suggested, sinking into the chair. “Okay… Can someone tell me what’s going on?”
You swallowed hard, your heart pounding in your chest as Chris’s eyes locked onto yours. You could feel your hands trembling again, and you pressed them into your lap to try and steady yourself. But the words wouldn’t come. You couldn’t do it.
Nick glanced at you, then back at Chris, sensing that you were too overwhelmed to speak. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a breath.
“Chris,” Nick started, his voice gentle but firm, “Y/N’s pregnant.”
Chris stared at Nick like he’d misheard, his mouth slightly open. “She’s what?” His voice was strained, his gaze flicking from Nick back to you, as if he needed confirmation from you to believe it. “Y/N… is that true?”
You couldn’t speak. Your throat felt like it was closing up, and your chest was so tight you could barely breathe. All you could do was nod, barely, as the tears started falling again, silent at first, but soon turning into deep, shaky sobs.
Chris’s expression changed in an instant. He looked stricken, panicked even, but not in the way you had imagined he would be. You’d thought he might be angry or disappointed, but all you saw on his face was concern — deep, raw concern for you.
“Please,” you managed to choke out through your sobs, “Please don’t leave me.”
Chris didn’t hesitate. He was across the room in a second, kneeling in front of you on the couch, his hands finding your shoulders as he looked directly into your eyes. His face was full of emotion — shock, yes, but also something else. Love. Pure, unwavering love.
“I would never leave you,” he whispered, his voice cracking just a little as he pulled you into his arms. You fell into his embrace, burying your face into his chest as the sobs took over again. “I swear, Y/N, I would never leave you.”
His arms were wrapped tightly around you, holding you as if he was afraid you might slip away. You hadn’t realized just how scared you were until you said those words aloud — the thought of him leaving you, of being alone in this, had consumed you.
“We got this. Together. Okay?” Chris whispered into your hair, his hand running gently up and down your back in soothing strokes. “I love you. You know that, right? Nothing’s going to change that. Not this. Not anything.”
Nick stood behind the couch now, leaning over slightly, his hand brushing softly over the top of your head in comfort. “He’s right, Y/N. We’re all in this together. You’re not alone in this. You never will be.”
You pulled back just enough to look up at Chris, your eyes puffy from crying, your breath still shaky. “But… but what about everything? Your career, the triplets… we’re just starting to—”
“Stop,” Chris interrupted, shaking his head firmly, his hands cupping your face. “None of that matters right now. The career, the videos, whatever-. The YouTube channel already is a family channel so why not add another member? — we can figure all that out later. This is what matters. You. Us. Our future.”
His thumb gently brushed away a stray tear from your cheek, his eyes soft as he looked at you. “We’ve been through so much already, Y/N. We’ve got this. You and me.”
You sniffled, trying to pull yourself together, but the tears kept coming. “I’m just so scared, Chris,” you admitted in a whisper, your voice breaking again. “I didn’t plan for this. I wasn’t ready for this. What if I’m not ready to be a mom?”
Chris’s face softened even more, and he leaned in to press his forehead against yours, his voice gentle and full of reassurance. “No one’s ever really ready, Y/N. But I know one thing for sure — you’re going to be an amazing mom. I know you. You care so much, about everyone. This baby is lucky to have you.”
His words hit you deep, and you closed your eyes, letting yourself sink into the warmth of his embrace. Slowly, the panic that had been swirling in your chest began to subside, replaced by a strange sense of calm. It wasn’t that the fear had disappeared — you were still scared, still overwhelmed — but with Chris here, with his arms around you and his voice steady in your ear, you felt like maybe, just maybe, you could handle this.
Nick was still standing behind the couch, watching the two of you with a small, supportive smile on his face. “And you’ve got the best support system, too,” he added, his voice light but sincere. “Me, Matt, our moms and dads, everyone. You’re not doing this alone.”
You smiled weakly at Nick, appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood. He’d always been good at that, knowing just when to throw in a bit of humor to keep things from getting too heavy. You were lucky to have him.
A few minutes passed in a sort of comfortable silence. Chris kept his arms around you, his fingers running through your hair, and Nick stayed nearby, still being his steady, comforting self. It was the first time since you found out that you felt like you could actually breathe. Like the weight on your chest wasn’t so suffocating anymore.
But then, just as you were starting to settle into this fragile peace, there was a knock at the door.
All three of you froze. For a second, no one moved, and then you remembered. Saturday. Weekly movie night.
“Oh God,” you whispered, your eyes wide as you realized who it had to be. “Matt.”
Chris stood up quickly, running a hand through his hair. “I forgot about movie night,” he muttered, glancing back at you with a mixture of nerves and amusement.
Nick, always the one with a quick comeback, smirked. “Well, guess we better tell him before he starts freaking out about why we’re all sitting here like we’ve seen a ghost.”
You managed a small, shaky laugh, wiping your eyes again as Chris walked to the door. He opened it to reveal Matt standing there, holding a bag of popcorn and a couple of DVDs like he did every week. His face lit up when he saw Chris.
“Hey, man!” Matt greeted with his usual energy, then stopped short when he saw Nick and you sitting on the couch. His expression changed instantly, concern replacing the smile on his face. “Uh, what’s going on? Why does everyone look like they’ve been crying?”
Chris stepped aside, motioning for Matt to come in. “There’s, um… something we need to tell you.”
Matt’s eyebrows shot up, and he closed the door behind him, setting the popcorn and movies on the table before crossing his arms. “Alright… I’m listening. What’s going on?”
Chris hesitated for a second, glancing back at you. You gave him a small nod, signaling that it was okay. He could tell Matt. You trusted him — you trusted all of them.
Chris took a deep breath, then turned back to Matt. “Y/N’s pregnant.”
Matt’s eyes went wide, his mouth dropping open as he stared between the two of you. For a second, you thought he was going to freak out, maybe even panic like you had. But instead, a slow grin spread across his face, and before you could even process it, he was laughing.
“Oh my God, are you serious?” Matt’s voice was filled with excitement, not an ounce of fear or hesitation in it. “Holy shit, I’m gonna be an uncle! Uncle Matt!”
You blinked, caught off guard by his reaction. “Wait… you’re not freaked out?”
“Freaked out? No way!” Matt exclaimed, still grinning like a madman. He rushed over to the couch, practically bouncing on his feet. “This is awesome! I’m so freaking excited! When did you find out? Are you okay? Do you need anything?”
His energy was infectious, and before long, you found yourself smiling despite the whirlwind of emotions still running through you. Leave it to Matt to turn something as life-altering as an unexpected pregnancy into something to celebrate.
“I found out earlier today,” you admitted, feeling a little sheepish. “I’ve just been… processing.”
“Yeah, she’s been freaking out,” Nick added, though his voice was soft and teasing now. “But Chris and I have been doing a pretty good job at calming her down.”
Matt’s eyes softened as he looked at you, and he crouched down in front of the couch, his tone suddenly more serious but still full of warmth. “Hey, it’s okay to be scared. This is huge. But you’re not in this alone, Y/N. We’re all here for you, and we’re gonna support you every step of the way.”
Chris, who had been standing nearby, came to sit beside you again, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. “He’s right. We’ve got this. All of us.”
The room fell into a comfortable silence, with all three of them gathered around you — Chris by your side, Nick still standing behind the couch, and Matt crouched in front of you. "Now let's start that movie night yeah?"
•┈┈┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈┈┈•
Twelve Weeks Pregnant
Twelve weeks. You were twelve weeks pregnant, and in just a few hours, you were about to see your baby for the first time — well, on a screen at least. It still felt surreal. The morning sickness had eased up, and you’d started feeling a little more like yourself again, but the idea of becoming a mom? That still seemed like a far-off dream, even as your body began to change.
Chris had been incredible through it all, doting on you in ways that made your heart swell. And Matt and Nick? Well, they’d been as involved as ever — particularly Nick, who had turned into your personal pregnancy guru, constantly asking questions and googling every little symptom.
That’s how today happened.
It was supposed to be just you and Chris at the ultrasound, but when Matt and Nick got wind of it, they practically begged to come along.
“Please!” Nick had pleaded over the phone just yesterday. “I need to be there for my future niece or nephew’s first portrait. You can’t deprive me of this moment.”
“I mean, I can come too, right?” Matt chimed in, although much less dramatic than Nick.
You couldn’t say no. These boys were as much a part of this journey as you and Chris were. And truthfully, you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Now, the four of you sat in the waiting room of the OB-GYN’s office, surrounded by pastel walls, a few outdated magazines on a nearby table, and the low hum of conversation from other patients. You were starting to get nervous. The usual thoughts ran through your mind — what if something was wrong? What if the baby wasn’t okay?
But before you could let your mind spiral too far, Nick leaned over and gently bumped his shoulder against yours, snapping you out of your thoughts.
“Okay, real talk. If this baby doesn’t look like a cute little potato on that screen, I’m gonna be disappointed.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, grateful for his attempt to lighten the mood. “Nick, it’s a twelve-week-old fetus. It’s not going to look like a baby yet. More like… a bean, I think.”
“A bean?” Matt perked up from the chair beside Nick. “We’re having a bean?”
Chris chuckled from the seat on your other side, reaching over to take your hand. “You really think you can tell what the baby looks like at this stage? It’s mostly gonna be shapes and shadows.”
Nick shook his head dramatically, crossing his arms. “Excuse me, I have high expectations for this child already. And if it doesn’t look like a perfectly round little potato, I’ll demand a refund.”
You burst out laughing, the anxiety that had been building inside you finally easing as the three of them bantered around you.
Matt raised an eyebrow, looking at Nick. “A refund? Nick, this isn’t Amazon.”
“No, but it’s 2024,” Nick shot back. “I’m sure there’s a customer service department somewhere for fetuses that don’t meet our aesthetic standards.”
Chris rolled his eyes, though a fond smile was playing at his lips. “You’re ridiculous.”
“Ridiculously supportive, thank you very much.” Nick grinned, then leaned closer to you again, lowering his voice a little. “But seriously, how are you feeling? Nervous?”
You nodded, appreciating the sincerity in his voice now. “Yeah, a little. I just want everything to be okay, you know?”
Nick placed a hand on your arm, squeezing gently. “It will be. You’re in good hands. Plus, you’ve got the three of us here, so if anything feels off, we’ll riot. Doctors included.”
That earned another laugh from you, but his reassurance worked. You leaned your head on Chris’s shoulder, squeezing his hand as you took a deep breath, feeling the warmth of the moment settle in around you.
“Y/N L/N?”
A nurse called your name from the hallway, and the four of you stood up together, an odd little unit of excitement and nerves. You made your way into the back, following the nurse into the ultrasound room.
As soon as you stepped inside, you were struck by the odd sense of calm that came with the sterile smell, the soft lighting, and the hum of machines. There was a cushioned bed in the center of the room, and the ultrasound machine sat beside it, the screen dark for now.
Chris helped you onto the bed, sitting down in the chair beside you, while Matt and Nick found their place on the couch at the side of the room. Nick immediately made himself comfortable, crossing his legs and leaning back, while Matt sat forward, elbows on his knees, looking genuinely interested in what was about to happen.
“So, do we get 3D glasses for this part, or…?” Nick asked, squinting at the ultrasound machine.
Matt rolled his eyes. “Dude, it’s not a 3D movie.”
“It’s not?” Nick frowned, leaning forward and pretending to inspect the equipment. “What kind of scam is this?”
The nurse laughed softly as she prepared the machine. “Sorry, no 3D glasses today, but you’ll get a good look at the baby.”
Nick let out an exaggerated sigh. “Fine, but I expect a detailed visual. I need to see this bean clearly.”
You grinned, lying back as the nurse spread the cold gel across your stomach. Chris held your hand, his thumb tracing small circles on your skin as you both watched the screen in front of you. This was it.
The nurse moved the probe over your belly, and after a few seconds, the screen flickered to life. The dark shapes began to move, forming into something that you couldn’t quite make out at first. You squinted at the screen, waiting.
And then, there it was. A tiny, fluttering shape.
“That,” the nurse said, smiling, “is your baby.”
Your breath caught in your throat as the image came into focus. You could barely believe it. That tiny shape on the screen — that was your baby. Chris squeezed your hand a little tighter, his eyes glued to the screen, his expression soft and full of awe.
“Oh my God,” you whispered, feeling a rush of emotion flood through you. This was real. This was really happening.
Matt sat up straighter, his eyes wide as he stared at the screen. “Whoa… that’s the baby?”
“That’s the baby,” the nurse confirmed, moving the probe slightly to get a better angle.
Nick’s eyes were glued to the screen too, his usual sarcastic comments nowhere to be found for once. “Holy shit, that’s… that’s the bean,” he said softly, his voice almost reverent.
And then, the sound hit. The rhythmic, steady thump of the baby’s heartbeat filled the room, and all four of you froze.
Chris’s breath hitched beside you, his eyes glistening as he listened to the heartbeat, his hand gripping yours even tighter. Matt blinked rapidly, clearly trying to keep his composure, but it was Nick who broke first.
You heard him sniffle from the couch, and when you turned to look at him, you saw the tears streaming down his face, his hand covering his mouth.
“Nick, are you crying?” Matt asked, though his voice was soft, no teasing in it this time.
“Shut up,” Nick muttered, wiping at his eyes. “It’s just— it’s really beautiful, okay? That’s my future niece or nephew in there. Let me have this moment.”
You couldn’t help but smile, your own eyes filling with tears as the sound of the heartbeat continued. Chris leaned down, pressing a kiss to your forehead, his voice full of awe. “That’s our baby.”
But then the nurse’s brow furrowed slightly, and she moved the probe again, a curious look crossing her face. “Hold on just a second…”
The room fell silent again as she adjusted the screen, and after a few tense moments, she smiled, looking back at you and Chris.
“Well,” she began, “it looks like there’s more than one heartbeat.”
Your heart stopped. “What?” you asked, your voice barely a whisper.
The nurse smiled wider, pointing at the screen. “Looks like you’re having twins.”
There was a collective gasp from everyone in the room. Chris’s eyes went wide, his mouth falling open as he stared at the screen. “Twins? Like… two babies?”
You could barely process the words. Twins. Two babies. You were going to have twins.
Matt broke the stunned silence, letting out a loud, disbelieving laugh. “No freaking way! We’re getting two beans?!”
Nick, still wiping at his eyes, blinked in shock. “Holy shit… double the babies, double the chaos. I didn’t sign up for this.”
You couldn’t speak. The tears were flowing freely now as you stared at the screen, watching as the nurse pointed out the two distinct shapes.
Chris turned to you, his eyes shining with emotion. He let out a breathless laugh, shaking his head in disbelief. “Y/N… we’re having twins.”
All you could do was nod, too overwhelmed to speak, but the smile on your face said everything. Chris pulled you into a gentle hug, his hand resting protectively on your stomach as he whispered into your ear, “We’ve got this. No matter what, we’ve got this.”
Nick, ever the dramatic one, let out an exaggerated sigh, though his voice was thick with emotion. “I mean… I guess I’ll be the best gay uncle to those two beans. This is gonna be chaos. But like… the best kind of chaos.”
Matt stood up from the couch, pacing a little as he ran a hand through his hair. “Twins! I can’t believe this! I get to be Uncle Matt twice over. This is the best day ever.”
The room was filled with laughter, tears, and disbelief, but one thing was clear: this unexpected twist — two babies instead of one — had only brought you all closer. This was your family, and together, you could handle anything.
•┈┈┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈┈┈•
21 weeks pregnant
At 21 weeks pregnant, you felt more connected to the babies with every passing day. Their kicks and wiggles were becoming a part of your daily life, and with every movement, the reality of being a mom grew more tangible. Today was extra special though—it was the day you’d finally find out the genders of your twins.
Earlier that morning, after your ultrasound appointment, you’d asked the nurse to write the genders down and seal them in an envelope. Rather than finding out right there in the clinic, you wanted to do something fun and intimate with the people you cared about most: Chris, Matt, and Nick.
You’d taken the envelope to the local bakery, explaining your plan for a gender reveal cake. The baker had been thrilled, and after giving a few details, you left the shop with a promise that the cake would be ready by the afternoon. Now, back at home, you and the boys were waiting anxiously for the call to come pick it up.
Nick, as usual, had been the most animated one, buzzing with excitement since morning. “Okay, I’m betting two boys. You can’t convince me otherwise,” he declared, pacing back and forth in the living room.
Matt, sitting on the couch beside Chris, raised an eyebrow. “Why two boys?”
Nick paused dramatically, his hand on his chin. “Because I just feel it. I have a gift, Matthew. A gift.”
Chris snorted, shaking his head. “I thought you said last week it was two girls.”
Nick waved him off. “Yeah, well, I changed my mind. It’s a boy vibe today.”
You grinned at their banter, the nervous energy you’d been feeling starting to melt away. It felt good to have them here with you, filling the space with laughter and excitement instead of the worry that had been creeping in.
Finally, around 3 p.m., your phone buzzed, and the bakery let you know the cake was ready for pick-up. “Alright, let’s do this!” Chris announced, grabbing his keys while Nick let out an exaggerated cheer.
The four of you headed out to pick up the cake, excitement bubbling in the car as Nick rattled off his many theories about what the genders could be. Matt rolled his eyes at his brother, but there was a fondness in his voice when he spoke. “You’ve changed your mind about five times this week, Nick. Let’s just wait for the cake.”
The bakery handed over the box with a smile, and as you made your way to a grassy field you’d found a few months back behind your apartment complex, your stomach fluttered with nervous anticipation. The day was perfect—clear skies, a warm breeze, and the quiet of the open space made it feel like the right spot for this moment.
You set up the blanket and placed the cake box in the middle. The cake itself was simple but beautiful, frosted in white with a question mark piped in blue and pink icing on top. Inside would be the answer to whether you were having boys, girls, or one of each.
Nick was practically vibrating with excitement. “Alright, let’s do this before I explode!”
You chuckled as you handed out four glasses, each one acting as your cake-cutting tool. You explained your plan: you’d all stick the glasses into the cake at the same time, and when you lifted them, the inside of the cake would reveal the colors. It was a fun twist on the usual knife-cutting, something a little different, and everyone seemed on board with the idea.
“All right, everyone ready?” Chris asked, holding his glass above the cake.
Nick, ever the dramatic one, held his glass in the air as though giving a toast. “To our soon-to-be-revealed nieces and nephews, or whatever glorious combination fate has chosen. May they be as fabulous as their Uncle Nick.”
Matt snorted, shaking his head. “Okay, let’s just cut the cake.”
“Alright, here we go. One… two… three!” you counted down, and all four of you plunged your glasses into the cake.
The moment you pulled them out, the colors were revealed: one side of the cake was blue, and the other was pink.
A boy and a girl.
Chris let out a breathless laugh, pulling you into his arms immediately. “Oh my God, we’re having a boy and a girl,” he whispered, his voice filled with awe and joy. “A son and a daughter.”
You smiled, tears welling in your eyes as you took in the sight of the cake. “I can’t believe it,” you whispered, feeling overwhelmed with emotion. “One of each…”
Nick, who had been quiet for a rare moment, suddenly let out an excited squeal. “A boy AND a girl?! This is perfect! Oh my God, I’m going to have the best of both worlds.” He wiped at his eyes quickly, though the tears were already falling. “I’m going to teach my niece how to be a queen and my nephew how to be the most fashionable little dude out there.”
Matt was grinning from ear to ear, clearly thrilled. “Holy shit, this is amazing. I’m going to be Uncle Matt to a niece and a nephew? This is going to be the best!”
You couldn’t stop smiling, the joy and love in the air so thick you could almost feel it. Chris kissed the top of your head, holding you close as the reality of it all sank in. “We’re having a boy and a girl,” he whispered again, almost as if saying it out loud would make it sink in even more.
Nick, wiping away the last of his happy tears, looked over at you and grinned. “This is unreal. This is next-level amazing.”
You chuckled softly, glancing over at him. “Nick, do you remember the 12-week scan? When you asked about the 3D glasses?”
Nick blinked, then broke into a laugh. “Oh God, yeah. What about it?”
“Well,” you began with a grin, “I’m going to have a 3D ultrasound scheduled in two weeks. If you want to join, you’re more than welcome. You too, Matt.”
Nick gasped, placing a hand over his chest dramatically. “Are you kidding me? Of course, I’m coming! You couldn’t keep me away if you tried.”
Matt chuckled, nodding his agreement. “Yeah, count me in. I want to see those little beans in 3D.”
The four of you sat there, laughing, crying, and celebrating in the soft afternoon light. You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect moment—surrounded by the people you loved most, the future suddenly felt brighter than ever. You were going to have a son and a daughter, and with Chris, Matt, and Nick by your side, you knew that this journey would be filled with love, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable memories.

23 weeks pregnant
At 23 weeks, the excitement for the 3D ultrasound had been building for days. You, Chris, Matt, and Nick had been talking about it nonstop—especially Nick, who was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. It was hard to believe that you were already more than halfway through your pregnancy. The little flutters and kicks from your twins were now a daily reminder of the life growing inside you, and today, you’d finally get to see them in a whole new way.
The four of you piled into the car that morning, with Nick riding shotgun and giving directions even though Matt knew the way perfectly well. Chris sat beside you in the backseat, nudging you every now and then as he peppered you with questions. “Do you think they’ll look like you or me?” he asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.
You laughed softly. “I don’t know. I’m kind of hoping for a mix, you know? One might have your nose, the other my eyes. Or the other way around.”
Nick spun around in his seat to join the conversation. “Oh, please, I’m manifesting that they’ll get your eyes, Y/N. You’ve got those big, doe eyes, and it’ll be adorable on a little baby.”
Matt chuckled, glancing at you both through the rearview mirror.
The drive to the doctor’s office didn’t take long, but it felt like forever with the excitement buzzing between you all.
When you arrived, the nurse greeted you with a smile and led you into the ultrasound room. The equipment looked a little more high-tech than the usual scans you’d had so far, and the anticipation doubled as you settled down onto the bed. Chris, as always, was by your side, holding your hand as Matt and Nick took their seats on the couch near the monitor.
Nick’s knee bounced with nervous energy, and he kept shooting quick glances between you and the screen. “I’m not gonna lie, I might lose it when I see them. Like, it’s been cool seeing the regular scans, but this is gonna be next level.”
The nurse smiled at his enthusiasm. “Oh, it’s definitely a special moment. You’ll get to see a lot more detail today.”
You pulled your shirt up to expose your growing belly, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as the nurse applied the gel to your skin. It was cool at first, but you barely noticed, too focused on what was about to happen. Chris squeezed your hand, offering a reassuring smile. “Ready?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be,” you replied, your voice a little shaky but filled with excitement.
The nurse moved the ultrasound wand over your belly, and within moments, the familiar grainy image of your babies appeared on the screen. But this time, it wasn’t just black and white outlines—it was so much more detailed. The 3D imaging brought the shapes and contours of your twins to life, and as the first clear shot came into view, everyone in the room fell silent.
And then, Nick broke the silence. “This is fucking crazy,” he whispered, his voice full of awe. “Look at them! They’re like… little humans! Holy shit.”
Matt leaned forward on the couch, his eyes glued to the screen. “Dude, you can see their faces,” he said, his voice full of wonder. “Like, really see them.”
The nurse pointed to the screen, smiling as she explained what you were all looking at. “That’s your little boy there, on the left. You can see his profile really well—his nose, his mouth, even his little hands curled up near his face.”
You stared at the screen in awe, tears welling up in your eyes. Your son was right there, his tiny face so clear. You could see the shape of his nose, and the curve of his lips. He looked peaceful, floating in the womb, with one hand resting near his cheek as if he were already deep in thought.
“Oh my God,” you breathed, unable to tear your eyes away from the image. “That’s him. That’s our baby boy.”
Chris was silent for a moment, his eyes fixed on the screen. Then he let out a soft laugh, his voice thick with emotion. “He looks perfect. Absolutely perfect.”
The nurse adjusted the wand slightly, and the image shifted to reveal your baby girl. She was nestled against her brother, her tiny legs curled up beneath her, and you could see her little face just as clearly.
“And there’s your daughter,” the nurse said gently. “She’s a little more active—looks like she’s moving around a bit more than her brother.”
Sure enough, as you watched, your daughter wiggled slightly, her hand brushing against her brother’s side. The movement made you gasp softly, overwhelmed by the sight of your two babies, so real and so close.
“She’s gonna be the wild one, I can feel it,” Nick said, wiping away a tear as he grinned at the screen. “Already squirming around. She’s definitely gonna keep you two on your toes.”
Matt leaned back, shaking his head in disbelief. “I still can’t get over this. You can see everything—their faces, their little hands. It’s insane.”
You couldn’t help but smile through your tears. “It’s amazing. I can’t believe how clear it is. I mean… I knew they were there, obviously, but this just makes it so much more real.”
Chris nodded, still staring at the screen, his voice soft with emotion. “I’ve never seen anything like this. They’re so… perfect.”
The nurse zoomed in a little, showing more detail of their faces, and the room fell quiet again as everyone took in the sight of your twins. You could see every tiny feature—how their noses were starting to take shape, the little bumps of their eyebrows, even the softness of their lips. It was a surreal, beautiful moment, and it felt like the whole world had shrunk down to just this room and the two little lives on the screen.
Nick, of course, couldn’t stay quiet for long. “Okay, not to be that person, but… am I the only one thinking they already look like little supermodels? Those cheekbones? That’s some top-tier DNA right there.”
Chris chuckled, shaking his head as he wiped his eyes. “Yeah, well, they’ve got their mom to thank for that.”
You nudged him playfully, still overwhelmed with emotion. “You’re not so bad yourself, you know.”
Matt, leaning back on the couch, let out a deep breath. “Man, this is wild. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about something in my life. Uncle Matt’s got a lot of spoiling to do.”
Nick shot him a look. “Oh please, you can try to outdo Uncle Nick, but good luck with that. I’m already planning the outfits, the toys, the whole thing.”
The banter between the two brothers faded into the background as you focused on the screen, watching your babies in awe. It was hard to believe that these tiny, perfect little beings were growing inside you. The love you felt for them was overwhelming, and as you squeezed Chris’s hand, you knew he felt the same way.
“These next few months can’t go fast enough,” Chris whispered, leaning closer to you. “I just want to meet them already. Hold them. Be their dad.”
You turned to look at him, tears in your eyes and smiled. “I know. I feel the same way.”
As the nurse continued the scan, capturing more images for you to take home, the room was filled with a mix of awe, laughter, and the kind of love that only grows when family comes together to share something this special.
For the rest of the appointment, you all sat in wonder, making jokes about who the babies would take after, what their personalities might be like, and what kind of trouble they’d get into with uncles like Matt and Nick around. But deep down, you knew that no matter what came next, these little twins were already so loved.
The 3D ultrasound had given all of you a glimpse into the future—a future filled with two tiny, perfect faces you couldn’t wait to meet.
As you and the boys piled back into the car after the 3D ultrasound, Matt slid into the driver’s seat, adjusting the mirrors before turning the key in the ignition. The excitement still lingered in the air, and you couldn’t help but replay the images of your twins in your mind—their tiny, detailed faces, the way your daughter wiggled, the calmness of your son. It had been a surreal moment, one that made everything feel so much more real.
Chris sat beside you in the backseat, his hand resting gently on your knee. He gave you a soft smile, clearly sensing you were lost in thought. “You okay?”
You nodded, still processing everything. “Yeah, I’m just… thinking about how real it all feels now. I mean, I’ve been feeling them move, but seeing them like that… it’s something else.”
Nick, who had been uncharacteristically quiet for the first few minutes, suddenly leaned forward from the backseat, sticking his head between you and Chris. “I’m not kidding—that was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s like… I’ve known they were in there, but now I feel like I’ve met them. Like I’ve already got a favorite nephew and niece.”
Matt chuckled from the driver’s seat, glancing at Nick in the rearview mirror. “Bro, you’re acting like you’re gonna be their dad. Calm down.”
Nick gasped dramatically. “Excuse me, I’m going to be the best uncle those kids could ever ask for. Spoiling them is practically my birthright.”
You laughed, loving the way they bantered, but as you leaned back in your seat, you felt something deeper tugging at your mind—an idea that had been lingering for a while now. You’d been keeping your pregnancy private for months, sharing the news only with close friends and family. But now… now felt like the right time to tell the world.
“Hey,” you said suddenly, interrupting the conversation. “I think it’s time we tell the fans.”
Chris turned to look at you, surprise in his eyes. “You mean, like today?”
You nodded, feeling a rush of certainty wash over you. “Yeah, today. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but after seeing the ultrasound today… it just feels like the right time. We’ve got the gender reveal photos, and now the 3D ones. I don’t want to hide it anymore. I want to share this with everyone.”
Nick sat up straighter in his seat, his eyes wide with excitement. “Oh my God, YES. The fans are going to lose their minds. You know they’ve been suspicious for weeks, right? Every time you post anything, they’re like, ‘Is Y/N pregnant? What’s she hiding?’ This is going to be huge.”
Matt smiled, nodding as he signaled to turn into the parking garage of your apartment complex. “Yeah, people have been catching on. It’ll be nice to finally let everyone in on it. Plus, those photos are perfect for the announcement.”
Chris turned back to you, his expression soft. “Are you sure? I mean, I’m with you a hundred percent if you’re ready, but once we put it out there, it’s out there. You know how it gets sometimes.”
You squeezed his hand, giving him a reassuring smile. “I’m sure. I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and I feel ready. I think we should do it.”
By the time Matt parked the car and you all stepped into the elevator, the excitement was palpable. Everyone was tossing around ideas, talking over each other as you made your way up to the apartment. As soon as you walked through the door, you settled on the couch with Chris beside you, and Matt and Nick sat on either side, eager to get started.
Nick pulled out his phone, already scrolling through his camera roll. “Okay, okay, so how are we going to do this? Do we go with a full-on post with, like, a series of photos, or do we just drop one bomb and let the fans go wild?”
Matt shook his head, smirking. “Nah, you can’t just drop one photo. You’ve gotta take them on a journey. Start with something subtle, like a cute couple photo, then hit them with the ultrasound, and then drop the gender reveal. Let them freak out bit by bit.”
You laughed, scrolling through the photos on your own phone. “Matt’s right. We should start slow and build it up. How about this one?” You held up a photo from the gender reveal—the one where Chris had his arms around you, both of you smiling, with the cake between you. It was sweet, intimate, and hinted at something more.
Nick gasped, eyes wide. “Perfect. That’s the one to start with. You both look so cute in that one. It’s the perfect teaser.”
Chris grinned as he leaned over to look. “Yeah, I like that one. It’s subtle but says enough.”
You kept scrolling, finding another photo from the gender reveal—this one of the four of you holding the cake with the blue and pink filling exposed. Everyone’s faces were full of joy, and Nick’s tear-streaked face was front and center. “And then we can do this one. It shows the reveal without saying too much, but people will definitely get the hint.”
Nick groaned dramatically, burying his face in his hands. “Oh God, the fans are going to roast me for crying. But whatever, it was an emotional moment, okay?”
Matt snickered, leaning back on the couch. “Bro, they’re going to love you even more. You’re gonna be the emotional uncle that everyone’s obsessed with.”
Chris looked at you, his eyes softening as he saw how happy and sure you were about this. “You’re really ready, huh?”
You nodded, smiling. “Yeah. I want to share this. It feels like the right time, and I don’t want to hide it anymore.”
The boys huddled around as you worked on crafting the perfect post, choosing the photos and writing out the caption together. After what felt like hours of deliberating, you finally settled on something that felt right—a simple, heartfelt message that captured the joy and excitement of the moment. The post read:
“Surprise! 💙💗 We’ve been keeping a little secret for a while now… we’re so excited to finally share that we’re expecting not one, but TWO little ones! Our hearts are so full, and we can’t wait to meet our son and daughter. Thank you all for the love and support—this journey has been so special, and we’re excited to share the next chapter with you. 💫”
After adding the ultrasound photo as the final slide, you took a deep breath, fingers hovering over the “Post” button. Chris leaned over, placing a soft kiss on your temple. “You ready?”
You exhaled, smiling up at him. “Ready.”
With one final press, the post went live. Almost immediately, your phone began buzzing with notifications as fans started reacting, liking, and commenting. The boys crowded around you, watching the chaos unfold in real time as people freaked out about the news.
“Look at that!” Nick said, holding up his phone. “The comments are blowing up! Everyone’s freaking out!”
Matt grinned, scrolling through the messages. “Yeah, and everyone’s losing it over the fact that it’s twins. They were expecting a pregnancy announcement, but not this.”
Chris pulled you into his side, his arm wrapped protectively around you as he smiled. “You did it. Now it’s all out there.”
You leaned into him, feeling a wave of relief and excitement wash over you. The secret you’d been holding for months was finally out in the open, and now the world knew about your little family. It felt right—like everything was falling into place.
Nick, who had been grinning ear to ear, suddenly turned serious for a moment. “You know what? This is just the beginning. I mean, we’re gonna have so much content once those babies arrive. And I’m talking all the cute uncle stuff, playing with them, me crying every time I hold them…”
You all laughed, the energy in the room light and full of joy. As the evening wore on, you spent the rest of the night scrolling through the flood of comments and messages from fans, feeling the love and excitement pour in from all corners of the internet. Your little secret was out, and it felt like the whole world was celebrating with you.
As you curled up beside Chris later that night, your hand resting on your growing belly, you couldn’t help but smile. This was the start of something beautiful, something you couldn’t wait to fully experience with the people you loved most. The future was bright, and you knew that no matter what came next, you’d face it together.
Everything was going to be okay—more than okay. It was going to be perfect.

Help a latino queer family get through this month
Me and my two siblings need help paying for groceries and meds. Two days ago our grandmother died. She was the one supporting us financially since we are disable and can't hold regular jobs. My older sibling does some commission work but it's not nearly enough to support themselves and my younger brother requires a special diet and meds, so we are in a really desperate situation. Currently we are staying at friends' houses so bills are mostly paid, but we can't become a strain to them. The economy of our country is worse snd worse every day, we're all struggling.
If you feel so inclined, please donate, we need around $380, that covers groceries and my brothers meds, plus pa*pal's fee for converting it to my country's currency. It feels like asking too much, but we don't have other option.
Pa*pal
Even sharing helps a lot

Ghosts & Medium AU Drabble - Moon Ritual
Not the drabble idea i mentioned before but one I wanted to write quickly :3
I am sure you can guess who this one is about :3 It is time for the gang to summon and meet Nightmare.
*----------------------------*
Dust checks the circle he had been drawing before leaning back. Still not quite right. Damnit. This is a hard design to get right. He rubs some of the chalk away and starts with making the design again.
Cross, or well Killer in Cross's body, leans over his shoulder "Dusty!! I am bored! are we done here yet?" and he leans against Dust's back.
Dust freezes and notices that Killer is letting a hand wander. Dust hits backwards and hits the other in his face. Killer backs up wiht a groan and dsut glares over his shoulder "Stop trying to molest me every five minutes." and he turns back to his circle.
He fucking hopes this works. Otherwise Dust is not sure how to get Killer to unsync from Cross's body.
Cross floats near him. still hiding his face "I am so sorry." Dust just shrugs as he keeps working on the circle.
Ash glares at where Killer lays holding his skull groaning "You are a disappointment and a waste of life force and soul energy." Ash nods and floats towards Dust's side.
Dust tries to focus on the circle but hears Horror gently tell Killer to not bother Dust when he is working. That distracting Dust could end up getting him hurt.
Dust checks his notes again before looking back at the circle. It seems right...
Cross looks over his shoulder and tilts his skull "It is unlike any demon summoning circle i have ever seen before..."
Dust hums "It shouldn't." It wasn't a demon summoning circle at all after all. All the symbols and texts he had found decribed this being as a Fallen. Which can be read in different ways.
But Dust reasoned a demon wouldn't be called a Fallen. especially not a powerful demon. So he skipped the whole standard set up and worked from scratch.
Whichc is why it took him a while to get this one ready but it should work!
Of course Dust hasn't been able to test the ritual he made just yet and it isn't like you can really practise rituals safely. The whole summoning a being makes that a bit complicated.
Dust sighs as he steps back from the circle and nods. That is the best he can make it with his limited supplies.
Dust walks to the side and starts making a larger containment and shelter circle around the ritual circle. Best to make sure that whoever he summons is protected. It would be useless to summon someone only for them to die or get destroyed by say the very air.
Ash frowns as he checks the circle himself "You didn't specify which type of being you are summoning."
Dust shrugs "I don't know for sure what it is." He has ideas but if he puts in the wrong species he may just make the circle blow up on him. He can know, it happened before.
Ash frowns at it before floating to his side again "Make sure to add a desummon symbol just in case you can't make a deal and need to get rit of it."
Dust nods "Will do." He makes sure to put the desummon sigil between the containment circle and the shelter circle. Making sure the shelter one is the most outwards one and the being can't reach through the containment one to mess with the desummon sigil.
Once finished he checks all the marks and sigils before nodding as he walks back to the spot he had been preparing for himself. He checks his own protection circle and makes sure to prepare an antimagic shield as well. Ready to be activated when he wants it to.
Well. That is all the preparations he can do for this.
Well...almost. he turns towards the ghosts and actual person following him around "I am going to do the ritual. I need everyone, ghosts included, to stay within this circle." It will be a bit snug but he didn't feel like it was a good idea to experiment with hsi protection circle right before summoning an unknown being.
Horror frowns at him "Will you be okay? Takes a lot of magic."
Dust nods "I am fine."
Horror still looks deeply unhappy "But you skipped breakfast and lunch for this... shouldn't you eat before doing this?"
Dust shrugs as he walks towards the safe spot "I will be fine." and it isn't like he got the fonds to buy something at the moment. He needs to make the little he have last longer for as long as he can.
He just does not want to try to do another job and have Killer invite another ghost along. Nothing against Horror, he is very nice and behaves while being helpful, but he does not want another ghost anchored to his soul. There are already three now and Dust does not want to figure out what happens to a soul if too many beings use it as anchor.
He enters the circle and a moment later Killer is hugging him from behind. Dust glares "Killer!" fuck Cross's body is very warm and solid. That guy may be a priest but you would think he is a soldier or fighter or something with how strong he is.
Killer just hums as he tugs his skull and face right by Dust's neck and shoulder "What is wrong my bunny? I am in the circle aren't I?" Dsut can hear the grin in his voice. Then Killer hums happily "mmmh.... so warm and you smell so nice."
Dust glares and wiggles a bit but he is very stuck "You are fucking weird. Let go now. I need my arms for this."
Killer moves his arms around and he is now hugging Dust's lower middle and has his hands on his hips.
Dust uses his newly freed arm to hit Killer in the middle wiht his elbow. Fucking hell what the fuck does Cross EAT?! That guy's body is fucking all muscle and that is fucking impressive for an actual skeleton. How much trianing does it take for a skeleton's passive magic to be that strong and trained?!
Killer groans but finally lets go.
Dust glares at him "Back of the circle or so help me I am kicking you out and let whatever i summon do whatever with you."
Cross yelps and flaots closer "wait! Dust! Please don't! That isn't Killer's body remember!" he looks begging at him.
Dust sighs and nods. He knows. Which is why he hasn't done much more damage to the stupid flirt.
Talking and thinking about that stupid flirt. Killer lays on the ground by his legs and winks "I don't mind you on top of me Dusty. Just had to ask and I am happy to provide~"and he winks again!
Dust swears he sometimes wonders if there is just something in Killer's sockets which makes him wink this much!
Dust sighs and checks if all the ghosts are near as well. Everyone seems fine so he holds up his hands and concentrates. He knows that the blue in his eye light lights up. colouring all the circles first blue.
Dust lets his magic explore the circles and what to do where. Once he has a good feeling for it he concentrates and any blue turns a violet colour.
Dust mutters some old spells from long ago. They don't do anything but they help him concentrate his magic. Ways to make it easier to use the magic.
The summon circle lights up purple and Dust waits. He knows Ash is holding his breath.
Then it turns bright cyan and flames seem to rise form the circle. Dust pulls his own magic back as the summoning circle has been activated.
Ash shudders as he glides close to Dust's shoulder "that.... is very powerful... what exactly are you summmoning again?"
Dust feels his soul fill with anxiety. Maybe this was a bad idea... He glances around and sees that everyone seems troubled. Killer is shaking and has taken to holding Dust close against his front. Arms locking him in place but this time Killer doesn't even seem to be trying to sneak a feel. Just holding him close. Dust can feel Killer's soul shivering and shuddering agianst his own back.
Horror seems close to hyperventilating as he seems to hold his own middle. Staring in front of him and his other hand seems to be worrying his headwound.
Cross is straight up shaking and muttering things to himself. looking close to a panic attack.
Then Dust remembers it, something specific in the notes he took. he grabs his notebook and starts searching for the right pages.
A being that brings negativity. It finds your weakness and exploids it for its own amusement.
Is this being causing this?
"Dust?"
It has to be right?
"Dust!"
But then it would be strong enough to already affect people without really having to be present!
"Dust!!"
Dust glares at Ash "What I am thinking." Obviously!
Ash points and Dust turns only to freeze.
There is a being made of someking of black goo. It is dripping in the circle and staring right at them with one shining glowing cyan eye.
Staring.
Waiting.
Dust quickly checks his notes. It isn't a fae so the fact the others said his name shouldn't matter. It is a being which thrieves on emotions and-
oh.
Dust closes his sockets and takes afew deep breaths. Mind over matter.
He is fine.
He prepared for this.
This thing can't hurt him.
He is okay.
His soul calms downa dn with it so do his emotions.
He looks at the others "Calm down. They won't be able to get to us." his feet is right by the activation symbol for the magical shield. HE doesn't think this is magic and so won't waste it right now. "It gets its powers from negative emotions. probably is causing them too. chill."
Ash looks at him and nods. He concentrates and obviously calms down. Dust knows his brother well and his brother knows him. Ash knows Dust wouldn't say that unless he is very sure.
Cross looks unsure but floats closer to Dust before calming a bit. seemingly trusting Dust to know what he is saying.
Hah. Dust hopes so.
Killer frowns at him and just pulls him closer. He clearly still doens't trust it and that is fine. as long as he remains calm and collected... which Dust knows is too mcuh to ask of Killer because it is Killer but Dust puts that out of his mind.
horror is harder to calm down just because Dust doens't know Horror that well but it seems Horror had been watching them already. Dust speaks calmly "Nothing you feel is what you feel really. It is just them doing this." Dust hopes. He isn't sure if this being can actually physically make their fake pains real but his shielding should protect them from it. It is too protect against harm after all.
Horror frowns but nods and pulls away from the wound and his middle.
Okay. Okay. He got this.
"Impressive. Waht gave it away that it was fake?"
Dust is shocked by this being's voice. It is deep and calm. The eye seems amused but Dust isn't sure how to ready this being just yet.
His growing and forming migraine isn't helping either. It is getting almost painful to concentrate on them. And Dust knows it is because this is a strong creature. Almost like his body tries to warn him when he gets near something too powerful for him to handle.
This being is much too powerful for him to have summoned. Oh shit.
The being tilts its head as it continues to look at him.
Right! It had asked a question.
Dust considers not answering them but if he wishes for them to break the bonds keeping Killer stuck in Cross's body he needs to have abit of a positive standing.
So. Chitchat.
Dust shrugs "Looked through some stuff... it mentioned you are connected to emotions and bonds made with those. Not specifically harming others at a distance."
The being nods as it looks abck to the circles "Interesting circles. I never seen any like them before. Usual people try the more..." they smirk "Traditional circles to get me. You know the ones. sacrifices."
Dust frowns as he looks to the side "Fucking idiots is what those people are. Why use does something that uses emotions have of something dead?"
The thing's smirk grows and they nods "Very true. Rather unimpressive and does not do well to impressive someone. For that matter. You have my attention. What did you wish of me... Dust was it?"
Dust nods "It still is." he rubs his notebook "I want to make a deal."
They grin and purr as they speak "Of course you do. What would you need of me?"
Dust points with his thumb over his shoulder to Killer "There is a poltergeist in this body that should not be in it. I want him out of this body so the original spirit who the body belongs to can enter it again."
The being tilts his skull again before focussing their sight on Killer. Dust can hear Killer start to growl and feel his grip on himself tighten.
The other looks amsued "You sure? He seems very fond of you."
Dust makes sure to look unimpressed and keep his voice deadpan "That is the problem. As spirit he is a lot easier to ignore. Now he is mobile and can cause property damage."
The being chuckles as they look at them all. Their magic glowing and reaching but the shield does its work and keeps them out. Dust raises a brow and the other smiles innocently "Can't blame me for trying." then a moment later as he looks thoughtful "huh... interesting."
Cross sounds nervous "what is?!"
The other looks amused "What exactly caused you to.... have your body... borrowed?"
Cross looks embarrassed as he crosses his arms. Yeah no. Dust does not have time for this. "The spirit was first anchorred to me. I asked Cross to remove said anchor. His ritual went wrong and this is the new situation."
The other chuckles as they shake their head "Of course it didn't work. You did a trade ritual."
Dust stops. So THAT is why the ritual circles had looked weird! Cross looks panicked "waht is that?! It can't have been... I used a ritual from old priest scrolls!"
the other nods "Yeah that would do it. It used to be the only way priests could get dmeons and spirits out of the victims bodies or away from them. By offering a trade. instead of just feeling parts of alive or temporary possessing they would offer their own bodies for the spirit. Giving the spirit a much better place to reside and live instead of the victim." more amsuement "of course... the priests using this also made sure to eat and drink holy to make sure that while their body was a free ride it also became a deathtrap."
Cross looks beyond alarmed "I didn't know that! Dust!!"
Dust holds up his hands "You came to me with that ritual. How was i suposed to know what it did?"
Cross waves his hands "You always know stuff about rituals!"
Dust groans but looks at the other being "Can you fix it?" because that is the real question.
The other seems to think for a moment. tap their chin before making a so-so motion "I may have a solution but it isn't what your friend probably wants. I can not undo the ritual completely but i can change it. I can make it that the poltergeist is no longer the holder and owner of the body."
Cross is already nodding but Dust frowns "What would happen if we did that route?"
They look amused "It means that his body? Becomes more of an... open territory, at least temporary. It means that if the spirit is strong enough and stubborn enough they can claim the body for a while to inhabit. the exact limits depends on the spirit and the body."
Cross sputters "You mean! My body becomes like a... a... rental?!"
the other stops and seems to think it over before nodding "In a way. Eventually your body and spirit should recover enough themselves to make it so you are anchored to your own body again. That is usually how the priests regained full control themselves after destroying the being they trapped. They would stay on holy ground to make sure no spiritis challenged their claims over their body. but that is all i can do."
Dust frowns "would cross need to be the only one in his body for that to work?" if that is the case they would need to get to the chapel real soon after Killer got evicted.
The other shakes his head "Not specifically. He would get his claim over his body back faster if he stayed on holy ground but even on neutral ground as someone else possesses him his body would know this is not the spirit that is suposed to be in it. and eventually kick it out. again, when this happens depends on the spirit and body themselves."
Dust frowns. meaning. Cross will eventually regain his full body control but it would take time. Killer, or any spirit for that matter, could possesses him and gain control over Cross's body. Leaving his spirit out of it. This would stay this way until either Cross can repossess himself over the spirit's control, or until cross's body realises the problem itself and kick out the uninvited guest.
He looks at Cross "Can you live with that?"
Cross seems to think before nodding.
Cool. at least this ritual and the near mental or emotional breakdowns weren't for nothing. Dust turns back to the being "What would you want in return for payment?"
The being hums and grins "a favor?"
Dust glares "No."
The being sighs but doens't sound disappointed or surprised "Can't blame me for trying." then he looks at them again. clearly in thought.
They nod and smile "I want a very specific thing. An artifact I lost a while ago. I want you. To find it and bring me to it so i can reclaim it."
Dust raises a brow "So you wnat me to find it and summon you near it?"
The other smirks and shakes his skull "I want you to make haste to find it. So i will remain here in this realm as you search it. the deal is completed as soon as i have it back in my possession. and then any debt is repayed."
Dust stands there and groans "Are you fucking kidding me!?" he covers his skull as he just hangs his head in his hands.
Killer holds him clsoer "Dusty? what is wrong?"
Ash however is cursing as well as he figured it out too.
Dust glares "I already HAVE three spirits stuck to me! Two of which who werne't invited! Why would i add another one to that!?"
The other smiles as he crosses his arms "that is my price."
Dust glares "I am not even sure if i can savely make another anchor. This is too high risk." not to forget he doesn't even know if this being needs a stronger connection or takes more magic to be here. Dust only has so much energy and magic.
The being waves it off "I wouldn't be anchored to you. I would be anchored to the very concept of our deal. The reason I would be here and be able to stay would only be because of the deal. the deal is completed? I will return to my realm and you would be debtfree."
Dust frowns as he thinks it over. okay at least not another anchor. he frowns "What if i can't get the artifact?"
The other being smirks "the debt would remain. but i am not unfair. sometimes people can still complete tasks from beyond the grave and i am patient."
Dust frowns "what is even the artifact?"
The being smiles "Why would you need to know?"
Dust glares "I would need to know if i need to find it."
the being considers it before nodding "It is an artifact normally used for rituals connected to the god of destruction."
Dust thinks for a moment before his sockets widen. He may have a clue... He knows that the cults have been obsessed with a god of destruction.
Dust nods "Okay. you break the bond now. and in trade i help you get to that artifact." Ash looks unsure but clearly trusts him tom know what he is doing.
The being smiles as he holds out a hand. it glows cyan "So. we have a deal?"
Dust nods "We have a deal." he exits the protective circle and goes to the very edge of the containment circle.
They stare at each other.
the being smirks as they hold out a hand "I. Nightmare. King of negativity agree to the terms of the prediscussed deal. which consists that i will remove the spirit stuck in Cross's body and remove the claim it has under it. In return Dust will assist in the search of the artifact used in rituals of the destroyer. once this artifact is foudn the deal is complete and will be done."
Dust takes a deep breath as he raises his hand and covers it with his own magic aura. only a soft weak violet light compared to the fluorescent blue that the being, Nightmare, gives off.
They shake hands and Dust can see the magic settle on his own hand and a small cyan mark on his hand. it is shaped like a moon.
He takes his hand back and Nightmare steps out of the circle "Very good circle work. I look forwards to working with you." Nightmare walks right over to Killer in Cross's body.
Killer glares but Nightmare does not look impressed. He grabs the soul and motions towards the soul. the soul turns cyan blue and Nightmare pulls his arm and hand back.
Dust watches as the soul is forcefully removed ffrom Cross's body and Kilelr's spirit follows it.
Cross's body goes limp as Nightmare holds Killer away from the body. a small line of red connecting the two. Nightmare grabs the line and snaps it.
Cross gapss and dives back into his own body.
Ngihtmare releases both Cross and Killer and crosses his arms.
Cross taps and checks his own body before falling to the ground "oh fuck... fuck i am me. Dust! Dust thank you so much!"
Ngihtmare looks amsued "It will take time before spirits can't easily possess you anymore. I would skip making or doing rituals for a while."
Killer pouts and floats over to Dust and pouts at him "But dusty. Now i can't join you in bed anymore."
Dust glares "You weren't welcome to begin with."
okay.
okay!
Cross's body situation is mostly sorted or will be sorted over time.
Which just leaves. getting Killer and Horror disconnected from him.
Maybe after this deal is complete he can discuss with Nightmare about other deals to unanchor both of them.
For now! Best repay the debt before he adds to it...
Time to do some more reading and research on this cult of destruction.

My son turns 11 on Saturday!
We've been planning an arcade day rather than a party bc that's what he prefers, but we're barely making our bills right now with just me working, so I'm going to drop this here for anyone who might wanna toss a dollar or two for him to get to play more!

TW// grooming, nsfw
i can't believe im making this post again but this is getting out of hand. @eechytooru is a groomer. and I'm making this post to warn the people in the welcome home fandom. I'm not that big into the fandom but i still want to spread awareness.
@eechytooru went by another name in the OSC - @/teenbeeny
back in 2020, i was 12 and new to the object show community but i saw bfb fanart by a person named @/teenbeeny (eechytooru). they where 16 but said they were turning 17 soon we talked in instagram dms but they would talk about object show porn and we would have nsfw rps but the worst part, they drew porn my sona (i was 12-13 at the time) and her sona (she was 16-17 at the time) together a couple of times. but in 2022, ive grown and i was 14, my friends helped me make a callout post on twitter and im thankful it worked. after a few months i didn't see her again but i soon started to hyperfixtate on tawog so i looked up fanart - and i found @/teenbeeny going by a fake name, eechytooru, trying not to get caught.
now, tawog fandom helped me to spread awareness and got her deactivate their tumblr account but that wasnt enough and now they're posting welcome home fanart and getting popular with a AU that they made - the EnA AU
again, im making this post to spread awareness. to this day she still hasnt given me a apology and claims that it was my fault and that i started all of this.
tweets that have proof:
(tw// nsfw mention) twitter callout post
tumblr account callout post
please reblog to spread awareness in the welcome home fandom!
