Had a rough week so I sat down to watch a comfort show (Shield of Tomorrow) and it just struck me how this group of nerds loved Star Trek so hard they basically forced themselves into Beta canon, and then one of them (Bonnie) continued to nerd so hard she’s now in Alpha canon. It’s beautiful. Never stop loving the things you love.

hi axel was the $10 alfredo pasta good

it’s creamy and has mushrooms, onions and sweet corn. not the most authentically italian plate of pasta but it gets the job done. i like the sprinkle of oregano and chilli flakes on top too. it tastes a little too much like milk in some areas and i expected better from a plate which causes $10 + $5 delivery charge 😞

November 16th, 1963 It's been two weeks since they burried them. A week and five days since I was sent here "for my own good". The doctor keeps going on about cherishing memories. But it's nothing I haven't heard before. I saw a woman today. She was visiting someone it seems, because no women are allowed outside their ward. She looked so eerily similar to Bonny. But it was the old Bonny. Fashionable, witty, full of herself. I can still remember getting that phone call. It was night and Polly called from a telephone booth, frantic, crying. Once I made my way to the mainland the sun was up. I was lead to the room by a nurse, and there was Bonny. But not quite her. They shaved off her hair clean off for the operation. I used to fear her gaze. It was so full of emotions, usually anger. But now there was nothing. She always had this snarky pout, but now there was nothing. The man she was married off to took everything away. Her dance, her heart and now her mind. After that happened Polly became her caretaker. I remember she called once, clearly upset. "I prefer her that way." she sobbed. I think the worst part is I did too. Maybe Bonny herself prefered it post lobotomy. She no longer obsessed over how many inches her waist had, no longer felt burning jealousy over the other dancers. She no longer hurt Polly, or me for that matter. She no longer hit us, but even the cruel words stopped. It felt peaceful, yet empty. Now it just feels empty. I'd rather have my sister at her worse, than not have her at all. I can't wait to get rid of this idiotic journal once I get out.

IT’S SPOOKY SEASON

Here’s what the batfam is wearing for Halloween:

Bruce: he was originally going to be nothing, just stay home in sweats and hand out candy. however, his kids all teamed up and made him be Calendar Man bc they thought it was funny to tape calendars to all of Bruce’s sweaters.

Kate: a detective. she stole Maggie’s uniform to do it.

Dick: a werewolf. let’s be honest, he just wanted the dog ears.

Barbara: a victorian ghost. she even decorated her wheelchair to look ghostly and old and covered in spiderwebs.

Jason: a zombie. he thought it was funny.

Tim: Bonnie. Bernard wanted to do a couple’s costume (Bernard is going as Clyde).

Cass: she’s going as Huntress. she thought her costume was cool.

Duke: he was originally not going as anything, but Tim convinced him to be a vampire.

Stephanie: an e-girl. she mainly just wanted to piss off Tim, who doesn’t understand the hype around e-girls.

Damian: superman. Jon convinced him to switch costumes for the night.

Alfred: an international spy. he claims that his normal work uniform will suffice, thank you Tim.
