In retrospect, Bogard should have seen an accident like this coming. The kid has a nasty habit of trying to block blows with his right arm, despite being left handed. A trait he’s carried on from watching his ax-wielding father, no doubt. It’s not going to do Helmeppo any good to continue fighting like that, but that’s a problem Bogard can address later. Along with how goddamn danger prone Garp’s apprentices are. “Always has to be one of you,” he grumbles bitterly, hiking Helmeppo a little higher on his back. At least it wasn’t Koby this time.

I’ve recently been reading ‘The Bizarre Diet Of Marine Captain Koby’ by cynaquill and I’m absolutely stuck on it.

It’s such a good storyline and amazing writing, I absolutely recommend giving it a read if you’re not too squeamish!
