Bonjour ! Ici le traducteur, je n'ai pas du tout participé à la création de ce comic et ask-blog, je ne suis qu'un simple fan qui espère vous faire découvrir l'univers des Becile's Boys.

Aucune question posée ici n'obtiendra une réponse sur ce blog, ceci n'est qu'une traduction.

Les Becile's Boys sont des personnages de fan de l'univers Steam Powered Giraffe. Il n'est pas forcément nécessaire de connaître l'univers pour comprendre cette histoire, mais je le recommande tout de même pour un meilleur contexte.

Vous remarquerez aussi — si vous allez voir le blog original — que les typos ont été changées pour une meilleure cohésion. De plus, le personnage de Riker sera traduit Riker Szarka même quand son nom a été pendant un temps Riker Weed.

JANE: Yes, actually! To the peanuts. JOHN: oh, something in common! i am too, severely. have been for my whole life. luckily i don't keep any in the house, it'd be kind of "nuts" to!

You peer over at Jane, standing there with wide eyes.

Then, she snorts.

JANE: Thank goodness! Or I'd have to kindly "cashew" to perhaps throw any out. JOHN: ha!

You smile at her as you lead her towards the kitchen.

JOHN: i have a feeling we're going to get along very well, jane. JANE: I feel that as well, Mr. Crocker! JOHN: oh, goodness! mr. crocker is so old-sounding. please, call me john. JANE: Ok, mr- um, john. :B

Do jamie and chinadoll have actual color pallets? I REALLY REALLY wanna draw jamie but idk what any of his colors are

I would've waited until morning, but I'm avoiding sleep paralysis hahaha

China's faceplate was inspired by a stylized illustration of a noh mask, though that's not what it is in-universe (as noh masks are generally wood, not porcelain, afaik). Her silver plating is probably shinier than it looks here with the flat colors, not chrome but maybe closer to The Spine.

Jaime's ear stud is plain silver, it's just too small for me to color in in most pictures. He always wears the silver chain.

You can give them different clothes, but they generally both stick to the same styles-- fancy and elegant for China, casual or workwear for Jaime.

This is a old drawing i chose to finish. Its not technically "finished", since when i started this drawing i was planning on making an entire background with the spot in an alley, but since it technically did take me 10 hours to draw *THIS* , it'd take me 300 hours to finish a drawing of that scale 😅.

We thought it'd be fun to collab on the final day, a double meaning for "Together" as a theme. ^v^
