Social Media

We launched our instagram page super early to get a social media presence as soon as possible. I made a little introductory post with our title and a logline in the description which Mara posted and followed up with a BTS edit of our crew headshot photoshoot which we did the next week. Whilst location scouting for the test shoot, me Mara and Francis also scouted for headshot locations. We wanted each crew member to have a different backdrop of a historical site that would still work coherently. We got photos at St. Giles Cathedral and the University of Edinburgh School of Divinity and at some random spots between the two locations.

It was a lot of fun and we got to hang out as a crew outside of meetings which was nice too. Our friend, Ethan took the photos and Francis uploaded them to a drive, letting each crew member pick their favourite and upload it to the milanote along with a short introduction to who they are and why they wanted to work on Bless You! We will be uploading these once our crowdfunder goes live.

I also made a colour palette for our posts to have some visual coherency and Mara made a To-Do list of posts after we chatted about what would be best for our Social Media presence. I also started testing some fonts.

We are now planning our crowdfunder and our next posts. We will also make a Facebook account connected to our Instagram.

no bc ford and bill's falling out is so silly to me because its like. ford's obsession with bill was the closest to "religious" that he's ever tread, and that kind of betrayal was earth shattering and hurt ford in a way he had NEVER been hurt before, causing him to completely mentally and emotionally unravel. meanwhile bill is like "can we talk 🥺" as if he hasn't been using ford for years, and when it became clear ford hated his ass bill got so drunk he forgot his mom was dead. what an INSANE dynamic to establish 8 years after the show ended.
