꩜ .ᐟ It takes her a little bit, sure, but she eventually figures out that, you're not from Runeterra at all.

꩜ .ᐟ A place called Earth. (Sounds basic in Jinx's coveted opinion).

꩜ .ᐟ She feels betrayed, you were supposed to be open with each other! If you kept this secret from her, what else could you be hiding?

꩜ .ᐟ She already has big abandonment issues, and now you have a good reason to leave her? Jinx is ready to kill!

꩜ .ᐟ She spins a lot of stories about your old life then she deludes herself into believing they are true. No need to correct her, she knows everything about you, past universe and present universe.

꩜ .ᐟ "You want to leave me don't you? I know you have a girlfriend back in your reality! Don't hide it from me, Y/N!"

꩜ .ᐟ After the anger phase, she enters her curiosity phase.

꩜ .ᐟ "Do they have machine guns in your world? Ooo, what about pipe bombs? And glitter?" She asks with stars in her eyes, it would be cute if there wasn't a pile of bodies behind her.

꩜ .ᐟ The phase changeover is... short, lets say?

꩜ .ᐟ She tries to impress you a lot more now.

꩜ .ᐟ "They didn't have this on Earth, eh?" Jinx grins, showing off the hex gem she stole, she knows she should be more careful but she's desperate for you to like her.

Me, to my new date: doctor who thinks it's a sci-fi story because the Doctor thinks it's a sci-fi story and because the companions think it's a sci-fi story, but it's really just a story about ghosts. a story about an ancient creature carrying the ghosts of everyone they have ever loved, meeting new people, and seeing them only as future ghosts. they are haunted by the future and the past and the present because they are the only constant in a world constantly in flux, and they are running as fast as they can to things before they burn and fade to dust but everything will always end, you understand, because this is the only thing the Doctor understands and yet they keep going. they love too much to stop. doctor who is not science-fiction, it's horror and optimism and spiritual more than anything else, it's religious unto itself, the TARDIS is a haunted house and a church and a graveyard and a hospital and the Doctor is the most haunted being in the universe but more than anything, this is a love story, because how can you love something without being haunted by it- hey, what are you doing?

Nobody talks about the double meaning of:

Because yeah swd is talking about switching sqx’s fate all those years ago but he’s also talking about the fact that he knows he has just successfully goaded hx into killing him. hx gave swd two choices and swd said fuck that and manipulated hx into choosing the third option that he wanted. Literally the last thing he ever did was change his and sqx’s fate and that is so sexy of him.

Remember, you are a gift. You were a gift the day you were born whether you were seen that way at first or not. You are a gift to this world. The time spent with you is precious to people, friends and family, even to your friends online. You give something to this world that no one else can give.

It’s a gift seeing your work, and I am honored that you share it. You are amazing artists and writers and the ones I’ve interacted with are genuinely sweet people. You inspire! You bring smiles and tears!

Enjoy your holidays with family! Enjoy that break! Don’t feel like you have to put something out for everyone else. Most of us will be taking a break as well. To those that still work, hugs to you and respect. But remember, you come FIRST. Your health, your feelings.

Love is giving yes, and I appreciate all you do but I also appreciate you. And what I want you to do is love on yourself this time. Love on your family, take that break, relax.

We will still be here when you come back. I will be.

Reflections for 2024

This past year had its share of challenges: health issues caused my mood and creativity to plummet and I spent much of the year feeling stressed and overwhelmed by one thing or another. It’s not uncommon for me to focus more on the negative aspects of myself instead of the good (I’ll blame that on my perfectionism and never feeling good enough), but I want to break free from that mindset and spend these first days of 2025 reflecting on the good things that happened in 2024:

I went back to Japan

I took a road trip across the U.S.

I published three chapters and a special one shot for North Star

I started two new series fics: dark side of the moon and Punch Drunk Love

I participated in the 30-day drabble challenge

I made new mutuals and formed deeper friendships

I took steps towards improving my mental and physical health

Although I took several breaks from Tumblr last year, I really do love this space and the people I’ve gotten to know here. Thank you for your comments, reblogs, messages, and conversations over the past year - each one of them is truly special to me. I hope I’ll have lots to share with you in 2025!

I'm late to the Queen Charlotte party, but can I just say that Freddie Dennis could have chosen literally any other way to have Reynolds look at Brimsley in the first episode and he went with A FULL SCALE LOOK THE MAN UP AND DOWN, just all soft eyes and playful smirk.
