Really need to finish off this Purple Templars Bladeguard sergeant, did his first highlight on his tabard last week and haven't touched him since.

In my chapter lore, I'm thinking of making each Bladeguard sergeant a relic bearer, or something along those lines. Any ideas let me know.

Apologies for the delay, back pain was a mother and I was reminded how much I don't like assembly line painting.

But all that aside, two full squads of Bladeguard Veterans are complete.

Just finished up some Salamander Bladeguard Veterans.  Started by priming it with a regular can of white primer. with this one in particular, I decided to focus on the smaller bits first (I.E pauldrens, shields, swords, seals, etc.). I made liberal use of retributer Armor across the shield and sword in addition to the insignia. for the pauldrens, I used a mixture of runelord brass and brass scorpion of the edges. then for the inner parts, a base coat of Abaddon black layered over with the black gloss paint from Vallejo. did the same thing with the backpack and sergeants helmet aswell. finally for the main Armor, I used two coats of Warp stone glow over the main Armor, with a shade coat of nuln oil to finish it off. Anyways that's about it, Hope you all enjoyed this!

Painted the blue and painted the bones on the Bladeguard

First I'll say there's no inclued/colors used photo. I had an accident with my coffee mug very near the end of painting and the entire desk needed to be cleaned. The paints I was using were put in the designated spaces at that time and then I couldn't rightly remember what they were.

Veteran Bladeguard painted in the style of the Salamanders. They were primed black to start and got the zenithal highlight before i went in with whatever green it was i used. (I'm so sorry. I'm the least organized painter) I had the most fun creating their bases. Those were primed white, painted red then dappled with orange, yellow and white until I got something that looked like lava. Overall, I'm super happy with how they turned out. Exalted Sorcerers are next.
