I've never expressed this in my life and I hope and pray this is the only time I'm exposed like this. But why is the Tik Tok folks mad about Aaron Pierre being cast as John Stewart???

I'm mostly seeing people say because he's too light skinned and I am 100% down on the opinion that Hollywood is backsliding and erasing a lot of roles and visibility to brown skin/dark skinned Black people.

However.... This man just look brown skinned to me, like he is reasonably brown skinned, just with light colored eyes.

Am I tripping? Am I too yellowboned my damn self for this conversation??? Send help.
