Im part of the agere community! I'm a permaregressor, so I'm always regressed, regression age being 13 (sometimes though, I'll regress to a baby). I'm also in the petre community, but instead of regressing to an animal, I regress to a Chao! Dni if you s*xualize it, please, it makes me uncomfortable. Also I'm a furry!

I'm a selfshipper and my mains switch all the time. It depends on my current hyperfixation. I am a bit possessive over SOME of my f/os though, so if I get crabby about certain ships (*cough cough* sonadow *cough cough*) its because of that. I am okay, and not okay with sharing. Guess it kinda depends on if we're moots or not. If you ship with one of my f/os, and I don't know you, I'll just block you and move on. No conflict needed, everyones happy.

gonna get called cringe for this but a messy list on things that make me think i'm some type of (poly?) therian,,

first the animals i think i used to be, male red fox, male elk possibly whitetail buck not really sure, female mountain lion, (not really sure) male american black bear, I'm half guessing with most of the genders here a lot of stuff is still fuzzy,

a lot of this probably isn't gonna make sense but i still have a prey drive and a want to hunt, i still want to bury my food when my done with it too, (usually just putting it wrapped up underneath a pile of clothes is enough tho)

and i swear i can almost remember hoisting myself up a tree, my arms on either side of it with my claws digging into the bark, i think that might be from the mountain lion. I'm not sure though could be the black bear.

and i really really want to do the thing where two bucks or two bull elk lock antlers and push each other intill one gives up. i can remember doing it. also i can mimic a bull elk mating call pretty well and it makes some part of me insanely happy.

i still want to growl and snarl at things too when I'm startled or upset,

last thing before i start rambling too much, i get phantom limb feelings a lot with antlers, or paws, or tails, or sharp teeth and claws,

a lot of this probably doesn't make sense but if anyone wants to try to guess what i am go ahead I'm still trying to figure it out because i haven't been "awake" for that long.

Other, new realization I made about kin stuff

I finally realized why my copinglinks lean so heavily into prey animals, when most of my kins are predators. I am consistently, casually stressed out in the background from knowing I am not as strong and in control as I should be

Like, imagine if an irl au naturale bear was walking in the woods and suddenly was not strong enough to claw trees efficiently, defend themself, fight for prey, anything They know bears are strong, they've seen other bears and have all their bear instincts, they're still an apex predator... but they can't be an apex predator anymore, they aren't capable of it

The amount of stress and sadness and general anxiety that it would cause is just terrible, and I think I get waves of that I have never been a very physically capable person and I wasn't given a great environment to find ways to fix that in ways that appealed to me (sure, soccer is fine but it doesn't get you stronger, except your shins get buff but yk) Now that I'm older I have a couple more opportunities to get stronger but its an uphill battle at this point from how I was raised, and I've now spent my whole life stressed that I'm gonna be taken out spontaneously because I don't have the survival skills or physical ability I felt I should have been born with

I'm a human, I've always known and accepted this; I won't ever have my claws or sharp teeth or fur or be able to make the sounds I should or even be able to smell all the things I should. It sucks, but I can manage. But constantly feeling like I'm a cub about be snatched by a predator, solidly in my mid-20s, is just mentally exhausting.

Going back to the copinglink thing, I honestly feel like I lean so hard into because if I sit and pretend I'm a helpless little bunny for a while then at least it feels appropriate that the world is out to get me. Yeah, it's still there and still Not Pleasant, but it feels slightly less unnatural for that to constantly be in the background compared to something that could club you or snap your neck if it bothered to. At least curling up in my cozy area feels like a comforting necessity that I've fulfilled rather than a fall into weakness, like I'm frail or diseased and won't make it through the winter
