The Funhouse is an upcoming 16+ Twine game largely inspired by Alice in Wonderland and similar whimsical works.

You play as a soul lost in a grand house. You must traverse its halls and rooms to gather the fragments of your memories, all while dealing with the many strange creatures inhabiting the house.

Who are you? What’s this house? How did it come to be?

And where is the way out?

㋡ Play as someone who’s trying to find themselves and their former self.

㋡ Build bridges or burn them and find out more about the house as you go.

㋡ Romance your own imaginary friend.

㋡ Meet a cast of (possibly) deranged and (definitely) unhinged characters.

㋡ Pave your way towards the exit – the road there is longer than you might think.

👻Mr. Lopkins – a ghost with an existential crisis – or a mid-death crisis, perhaps? He doesn’t seem to know when or how he died, but the knife etched into his form at least gives a good clue as to how it might have happened. Cheery but miserable, he soars through the house’s halls, all too aware that the real prison is his own mind.

🧸 Bunny Bear – a talking, walking, stuffed animal who is sewn together from parts of a bunny plushie and a teddy bear. It clings to you like a parasite. But don’t point that out…you’ll embarrass them.

👤The Invisible Person – do they even exist? You think so, but they’re invisible, so there’s no way to tell. Maybe they’re just part of your imagination? But then again, why would your imagination berate you so much for your supposedly “stupid choices”?

I will forever be fascinated with Silco's whole Rebirth Narrative™. It's so psychologically twisted. Such a crunchy character trait. It's how I like my blorbos. Unhinged.

Anyway, here's another WIP I'll never finish so I'm posting it anyway. Painting practice, a couple screenshots used as reference, raw-dogging it on one layer in Krita because I have no idea how to paint digitally. Enjoy.
