a few weeks back i suddenly had a lil kick and remembered I haven't tried making something for Madness Day or really done Madness stuff for a long time even though i still love these violent jellybeans dearly and figured I could redo a concept I did for the last Madness Day i did something for back in 2021.

so naturally i left it until last night to actually do most of the drawing. Jeb, Hank and Tricky have all died a stupid amount of times.

Late Mermay idea!

Orca mer Ghost in an aquarium but he is almost always hiding and quite depressed so the aquarium decide to give him a little more enrichment.

With humans lack of mer knowledge they come to the conclusion that because orcas eat seals then surely an orca mer would eat a seal mer. They decide that during closing hours (to avoid guests seeing the blood bath that will surely follow) they will drop a live seal mer into ghosts tank so he has the natural experience of hunting instead of just being fed slabs of meet.

But mer’s don’t eat other mers, regardless of secondary species.

So when seal mer soap is dropped into his tank, ghost just thinks he’s being given a very energetic handsome roommate.

And the humans are confused as to why ghost hasn’t eaten the seal mer yet

ok very excited. I think I can fit both astronomy and neuroscience&physiology into my master's as the minor subject studies. I might get tf out of astronomy like a week into it, bc I suck at physics & now it's been like 5 years since I've done anything physics-related and I don't remember the math-side of it at all. But both of those I've at some point considered to major in, so I think I need to see the "what could have been"s etc.

Also there are some courses on bioinformatics that I wanna take that are a bit closer to the computer science stuff (aka my actual degree) that I'm very interested abt. Also "programming quantum computers"?? that sounds cool as fuck and I already know I'm going to regret it so much (shit sounds complicated & super time consuming) but alas, I'm gonna have to give it a try; sounds too cool not to.

Rn I have 4 too many courses for the degree, but I'm sure I'll drop more than enough once I actually get to some of them and realize that it actually sucks lol. Most likely expecting that to happen with the astronomy, idk how much ''ooh planets starts'' is gonna help when I'm neck deep in math again

reading the comments section on a video about the Sully siblings and it's wild how many people were insisting "why'd you leave out Spider he's adopted too" y'all no he isn't, Jake literally explicitly spells out for you in words at the very beginning of the movie that Spider "isn't part of the family", he's just the kids' best friend who's always hanging around, they literally could not make it more clear than that why are people so confused were you paying attention at all

Hey guys, I know things look terrible, but I’m here to offer some hope and encouragement. In times of great political strife and suffering, good does prevail. We have the house. They cannot introduce bills.

With a fascist in power there is a solitary upside that shines like the North Star and we have to latch onto it. Left leaning organization will get more militant and motivated with a common enemy. Blue states will fight hard, and with any luck the senate will be ours in two years.

What we have to do now, especially since some of us are in swing states, is survive. That is your number one priority.

Your second priority is to keep your criminal record clean. Do not under any circumstances do something that could cost you your vote. There is a chance we don’t get to vote again, I need you to ignore that chance for your sake and for the sake of our democracy. Hold fast to your vote. And when the time comes, use it.

If you weren’t able to vote this time start looking into ways to vote next time. It is vital, and every individual counts.

Your third priority is to look into what you can do with your meager means. Donating to campaigns, relief funds, charities, etc. if your family members are acting foolish ignore them, and if you believe they can be swayed with time make every effort to do so. On top of this if you are capable of it engage in canvassing. There are local and National organizations that can direct you in this. Winning local elections is probably the most important thing right now.

Things looks bad. They are. But they won’t stay that way. Stay alive, use your rights, speak with your community members, ignore the bullshit, and by god you have to survive. We will combat their hatred with fury and kindness. It is our civic duty. Do not let them take your hope from you. Giving in to despair is akin to death, and you must survive.

Okay you all I need to ask you something and I need all of you to be honest with me

If I made a comic for a spooky month au that has a "choose your own adventure" kind of dynamic, would any of you be interested? And before answering please read because the " " are there for a reason

The comic for this au can very easily be just another comic without all of this, but given that is based of a visual novel (Yes, another Rachel novel don't judge me I'm hyperfixiated) and this one has been on my mind for longer than the MIR/Doomed au, I got the idea to make it interactive somehow

The dialogue options all will end up leading to the main story and they're there only to get different interactions in a short amount of time, as well as choosing location will eventually lead you to the place you NEED to go to progress the story, only the final options will determine what ending is gonna happen All of this will happen on polls, not all the comic parts will have polls only in the ones where you need to chose something, since I'm not fast at drawing comics and will split it to make it easier for me Every option will eventually be made once all endings are posted, going for the second most voted (in cases where there's 3 options) or the second one (for the ones with 2)

The au is based on Cold Front and I recommend to play it or watch a gameplay of it if you haven't as I will be changing multiple things, it's based on the story but the characters will behave differently, this is set in Halloween instead of winter and most importantly, there's a third ending and more dialogue options

This is smaller than another au I plan to use this same dynamic because this one has a linear story and the endings are something that you can easily go back to with one option, meanwhile "A candy store after dark" is gonna be WAY messier as the options can affect the whole story, and If you all are here is because you enjoy my weird antics and ideas for some reason, figured I might give this a shot and see if it's of interest

MiqoMarch Day 27 - Comfort

Tucked away at the farthest end of The Andron was a room larger than the others. Primarily it was intended for storage but, given the circumstances, Krile thought the space would better serve as an apartment of sorts; comfortably shared between three of her dear friends.
