I love the idea of leafling scars!! Such a cool idea but I’ve never seen anyone draw anything life that! Maybe I’m biased because I like Bernard.

Had this idea brewing since the game came out and there are SO many ways it could be applied to imply extra stories for Bernard and the castaways! I have no idea when else I'll be able to talk about this in length so thank you for sending this I can finally ramble!!!

To summarize:

Cured castaways are left with vine stitches that protect and keep together any internal or external injuries (may or may not disappear once the injury is fully healed)

The pikmin parasite potencially focuses on the head to control the host

The longer they're a leafling the more vibrant the hue left on the skin is. (I wasn't sure how much of a tomato Olimar would be)

Flowers can bloom in their leafy coats

Despite being brought into the same Onion they have different types of leaves/vines/flowers

I left it ambiguous whether or not castaways are still being healed after they've been turned into leaflings

Other info and ideas I didn't include:

A lot of times the plant grown will be poisonous ie. a yellow leafling grows buttercups. This is to protect them from predators.

Marks resembiling their leafling eyes might be visible on their corneas

Drinking nectar gives them a similar effect to the pikmin; blooming flower, faster speed (maybe strength? forgot if that's boosted), they also get "extra lives" but their pain receptors are more sensitive than the pikmin so they get temporarilly incapacitated for longer

Keeping it ambiguous if castaways are straight up revived from the dead or need to be brought in while they're still hanging on (there's so much story potential if theres a time limit tho!)

They might be able to use the vines as a second limb (I accidentally drew Olimar's vine too low so he probably has a vine tail now)

Dunno if I did Yonny's speech pattern justice here (still experimenting) but-

I REALLY wished we could've gotten notes from Yonny about this since he got to see them up close. And dang it I'm really curious about how the leaflings work, I get that they're all dandori n stuff but what if the pink ones can fly or the purple ones are stronger. Maybe all of them except blue leaflings get hurt by water.

So many questions and no answers, and so much design and story potential!!!

SO!!!! this is supposed to be his mortal(?) version! or what he'd look like outside of his temple/wherever the fuck this dude resides

I like to imagine Bernard's temple would be completely monochrome, and once he steps out of it he's just a living pride flag. there are two reasons for this!

– he doesnt want to overwhelm anyone with his overly bright and ever changing (heh) appearance. esp since he likes to be all tall and gigantic most of the time.

– he just likes being monochromatic

BUT, I also put too much thought into this so yall will have to hear about it too.

– when monochrome, their colorful strands of hair only change values

– I wanted their hair to resemble branches or something (maybe I got lost along the way but ill redraw them again promise 🫶 [ill forget, again]) to symbolize the different branches/paths change can cause.

– their hair CONSTANTLY changes. and it's not even based on emotion, it's just like that. this idea was born from the fact that change happens all the time

– some strands change to a darker color or almost gray sometimes, for yk, the darker changes and such

– assortment of colors for the whole God of Identity and stuff? I think self expression kinda goes hand in hand with identity, so!! also because of the different kinds of changes etc etc

– If this looks messy or muddy That was Actually My Intention TRUST. It was to symbolize how change can be messy and unpredictable 🫶/nsrs

– ^ BUT SRSLY THO, their hair just looks wild half of the time.

– Despite being the god of change, they like and even prefer set routines and predictable behavior. Just like to their og counterpart

– for what mortals usually ask for from them, maybe itd be for something to go well or for guidance on what sort of change they should make in their life or if theyre on the right path, help with self reflection etc etc.

– offerings would include: pretty branches, any food or drink, dances, song, etc etc!

– Fun fact people used to be so confused on what kind of offerings pleased them the most other than food and such. some claimed that their favorites change all the time, or that you should only ever offer one set item or whatever idk. they don't care obv, but they'd especially love things that the person took time to make or gather.

– although their hair is the main thing that changes a lot, subtle shifts in patches of skin, eyelashes, etc are included too.

(After typing out all this I’ve realised it’s quite a lot, so I hope you like reading lmao)

So the one on the left in my pfp (spiral eye, sweater) is named Bubble (my friend named them), they use any pronouns (although I generally use they/them) and their nickname is Bubs :3

The one on the right (demon, poncho) is Devlin (name taken from the Devlin house from Dead Boy Detectives) they also use any pronouns and their nickname is Dev

These r some of my OG sketches of them (their designs are pretty much exactly the same still, i don’t plan on changing them)

I made them both easy to draw on purpose since I just wanted something to do while I was bored but I’ve ended up becoming super attached to them lmaoo

I decided pretty early on that Bubble and Devlin would be in a romantic relationship because idk, i’m just a sap for romance I guess

Bubs and Dev both use rotary phones from the 1960’s; mostly it’s just a gag, there’s no real reason for this other than I thought it’d be funny.

I tend to stylise Devlin’s dialogue in all caps just to sort of show their loud personality but they actually aren’t yelling most of the time.

They both have pets! Bubble has a saint bernard called Benoit Blanc (Benny) and Devlin has three iguanas named Tim, Martin and Sasha (I think you know where i got their names)

I haven’t planned out every aspect of their characters but I do know a few things such as hobbies (Bubs likes baking and Dev likes to read. They both like arts and crafts) and their families (Bubs comes from a kinda big family, they have several cousins and a little brother, meanwhile Dev no longer speaks to their family.)

I wanted to keep the Nicknames thing, so i introduce Vixen ‘Vixie’ and Melina ‘Mel’!

Vixie is sort of a slime-person? Idk but it makes sense to me. She’s also transfem and very shy! We love her tho <3

Mel is NOT a zombie although I realise she looks like one, she’s kinda just green. She’s more sarcastic and tired than the other characters but she loves her friends.

Vixie and Mel aren’t as developed as Bubs and Dev but I still love them :3

I hope to make these guys into a comic someday!! I love making up silly guys

it’s been eating me alive thinking about how much more poignant the storytelling for timbern would have been if tim and the rest of YJ had been aged up earlier in the canon and KEPT aged up instead of playing catch-and-go to the point where tim and cassie’s asses are whole ass adults with lives versus bart and kon who are still suffering from the comic book version of developmental hell by being stuck in high school as adult learners bc nobody cares about them enough as a collective to really write them beyond their rehashed identity issues.

cuz when i think about kon’s sad romantic life, timcassie, and even timsteph, a lot of the drama could have been tied up neatly a long time ago if they were just allowed to grow up and grow out of their childhood demons, but they didn’t. in a way, they’re all still stuck in a hellish timeloop. when i think about why kon’s on his nine millionth identity crisis, or why bart’s Just There, or why tim can never rid himself of bruce’s influence, i just think it’s bc editorial simply cannot give a single shit about what the 90s set of legacy characters go onto do, even tho they have longer and richer histories than nepo babies like damian and jon.

and when i think about timbern SPECIFICALLY and how a lot of folks have rightfully clocked that it’s pretty bland and BL-centric, it just kills me bc timbern as a narrative from START to now is such a powerful story when you disregard fitzmartin and editorial framing their narrative to cater to the americanized BL market. like if tim and bernard’s romantic dalliances had popped off at 35 instead of this weird place where they’re 19/20, i feel like we could have had a much more distinctive narrative about queers coming out much later in life. if bernard’s characterization was truer to his OG personality versus the BL-model, we could have have had a much more nuanced approach of depicting gay folks who used to be assholes and still have a bit of the asshole in them even as adults. more than that, i feel like the story would’ve been richer if bendis had gotten a longer run on yj 2019 and naturally broken timsteph up, versus what actually happened. which is sad bc there’s so much story here that i think got squandered bc of bad context framing and just weakass storytelling. makes me wish bernard had reentered the narrative as an antihero and editorial let him and tim have a violent run of will-they-won’t-they until they absolutely will-they’d by hatefucking on a roof. except tim isn’t bruce and he accepts he can have toxic relationships with men too, and goes onto splitting his time between bernard’s bed and stephanie’s bed. the more i read fitzmartin’s work, the more i want to shoot myself.

< norton just got out of the mines accident and mike also just survived the fire of his circus is what i like to think for moleswift to happen, except they didnt get invited to the manor and instead found each other to somehow lift each other up.

mike who basically had nothing but the clothes on his back and the shit ton of money that Bernards untimely death gave him, hes still actively looking for the other survivors, but he found Murro and he's the one that somewhat convinced mike to give up on his quest for revenge and live life to the fullest, essentially telling him to rise from the ashes. (nod) and with this resolve he gets to doing it.

it was hard for him to give up on searching for the person he thinks is responsible for the fire, so he still has that one guy (i forgot his name rn) to search every possible corner, but at some point they did lose natalies tail. he doesnt want to say hes given up but he has no choice but to look towards the future of his own circus.

i see him as someone who always wanted to be the ringleader, and while he was already the main star of his previous one i dont think it was the same as having his own circus to run, having this chance given to him even though it was through dire circumstances was a god sent gift. so i know he gets to work finding all the acts hiring all the people, and finally his mole.

HIS MOLEE AUGDHAHGDHAD

norton has been looking for a job, sees the advert looking to hire an assistant for the circus (he probably thought of it like man power, or smth) but he takes the job he needs money, he knows how to follow the scent of money. his resume doesnt look as good as the other people being interviewed but the moment he stepped in the tent mike knew found the other half of his act.

Everyone he was interviewing didn't seem to mesh well with him, and he would like someone he could have fun with. Personal preference.

norton obviously wasnt as sure anymore at this point, since the job description was far form the work he was used to doing (and he did think it was mostly manpower for a job) but YOU KNOW he convinces him with the riches that mike already has, "i can give you more than this you know, I see you eyeing it… and Its clear to me that your greed has no filter Mr.Campbell" WITH A SMILE.

Initially Norton doesnt like how Mike is, hes bold, brazen, and thinks that everything that he wants should be fulfilled at the drop of a hat, like??? does he think he has super powers to magic up the fund for something that he wants so out of the blue? But of course Norton is as stubborn as a mole, he can and will do whatever it is thats asked of him. Hes willing to do whatever it takes to be able to prove him wrong and even sometimes surprise Swift with what he can accomplish.

"What we accomplished together." Swift would say.

Norton ignores the throb in his heart as he looks at Mike who was looking around in awe at the decorations in the main tent, thankfully with his connections from doing VARIOUS odd jobs all his life apart from mining, he has a pretty good network.

Its safe to say that I think these guys are literally two halves of a whole OTL there can never be a Swift without his Mole and vice versa !!!!!!!

Mole whos admiration turns to worship, even if he doesnt know it and Swift who cherishes him, and never wishes to part. They both helped each other reach the best outcome of their lives !!!!!!!!!! Norton having a stable job and never having to fear when he gets to eat again and Mike back in the circus where he belongs under the spotlight.

TLDR THIS IS MY FAVORITE SKINSHIP EVER.

< i joke about them being divorced husbands but honestly its more like the old married couple vibes in the long run, they banter and they yell sometimes they pull at each others hair but its all in good fun. they have a drink together with swift on moles lap as they run through the circus expenses together. (a love language) < i dont know WHEN exactly they would have gotten together. bc to me they were married from the start??? i dont know how to explain it it just happened. <mike probably just casually mentions he loves him at one point.. or something along the lines of "i want to keep you forever. I wouldnt know what to do without you by my side." and mole just assumed this was when they start dating seriously because HE is NOT leaving. For the ask game, ship you’ve unwilling come around to!

Oh, I have so many NoTPs in every fandom, and, unfortunately, a ton of them tend to be canon or popular in fandom! The ones that bother me so much I had to block the tags are Dick/Babs, Tim/Kon, and Spike/Buffy. I think those are the only ships I currently have blocked, but some of that is just because the other ships are less popular (or fewer people I follow care one way or the other).

With Dick/Babs, it's that I love their dynamic as childhood friends or as young superhero friends, and if they have romantic entanglements on top of that it feels like it's invalidating the friendship. There's a lot of 'this boy and girl are friends so they have to date' (see also: these two queer boys/girls are friends so they have to date) and it gets its ick on ships, even though generally I do enjoy a friends-to-lovers arc. It's also a little creepy to me that Babs was originally Bruce's love interest, and then infantilized to be Dick's love interest - the same reason that Kori/Jason and Raven/Damian bother me so much. Also, Babs is a lesbian. I really just prefer them as mlm/wlw solidarity and not in a bi4bi way.

Tim/Kon and Spike/Buffy are more a problem with the fans than any of the canon material. (Which is why I ship Tim/Kon in the HBO Titans universe, which I haven't seen many people being mean about.) I see a lot of Tim/Kon fans hating on Bernard and Tim/Bernard and also hating on DC in a way that honestly feels pretty homophobic. I don't think that's their intention but it really sounds like the same arguments people who just don't want canon queer characters at all make. I also see them hating on Steph and Tim/Steph sometimes in ways that are pretty misogynistic (and also biphobic) and I just don't like it.

Spike/Buffy is like... I enjoyed the dynamic on the show, where they were both unhealthily codependent and toxic to each other. Two people who think they're in love or have the potential to be in love because they won't address their own problems is my jam! Of course, most of the shippers seem to want to treat it like a real (or especially a healthy) relationship instead of a toxic situationship. There's also the problem that, like, they keep defending why Spike 'deserves' to still be in a relationship with Buffy after assaulting her, sometimes with pages long essays, and never once mention how Buffy might feel about that. Completely ignoring Buffy's opinion on the whole thing feels, to me, even more nonconsensual than the original incident (which I was willing to chalk up to bad writing and ignore). So now the merest mention gives me the creepy crawlies. This is most canon ships on BtVS, tho.

Most ships I'm open to, tho! I especially enjoy hearing about rarepairs and anything that couldn't happen in canon (crossover ships, etc.) because I can roll it around in my head until I understand it. Which is why even stuff that squicks me at first I'm willing to give a chance if the story sounds interesting enough.

Been a while since I’ve done anything with my dolls. It’s slow going getting back into things but I’m enjoying it a ton! These are edited mostly for the backgrounds, color correcting, and fixing stray wig hair where I could. It’s not perfect since my phone is garbage but at the same time I kinda dig the flaws.

Vishen Muriel Konten Alueshious Sylveryn (He/Any)

Former Water God and current Wanderer of Basn in the forme of a peculiar Serar. (AKA an Aasimar in my homebrew DnD world but that’s his full name and whole deal in a nutshell.)

Vishen is Volks Ryoya Konoe and was/is my Grail Doll. He’s an unmodded fullset lacking only his original wig, and I think a jewelry piece? No matter. They’re perfect.

Vishen and Ghost. They’re not a romantic couple but they have my favorite chemistry of my lorge dolls.

I really loved painting this one. The background itself is in my Discord as a stand-alone haha. As for Ghost… There isn’t much to his story (yet.) I mostly just like having him look pretty. Factory face-ups on both the lads.

Ghost (He/Him) is a Migidoll Ryu!

Sasha "Shou" Bernard. (He/Him) He’s one of my oldest BJDs. A cat-boy who loves all things cute and fun! He needs a proper wig and ears/tail but man it’s a hard color match. I’m trying to fit him to the design of an adoptable I got from an art-friend aaaaggesss ago. As a doll he’s changed characters and looks a ton over the years. But for now he’s my pretty princess son! Cheska was my first BJD. Originally on a female body, I hybridized her onto a male one but it was via trade so I genuinely cannot recall the sculpt anymore. Their story is that they literally are a {collective?) spirit possessing a doll. He can move on his own but cannot speak audibly. They communicate exclusively through their traveling companion Morgan del Sune. Their relationship is not very clear currently as Morgan tends to embellish any stories on the subject to the deliberate and relative horror of their audience. I’m gonna be exploring them both (only Cheska is shelled as a BJD in real life, Morgan is a Tiefling tho) more in a DnD game hopefully pretty soon and I am so excited! Face-up and wig by yours truly!

I only really have 2 other outfits to comment on, I actually love her workout fit. The layers? Honestly slay. I'd wear that (tho in blue instead cuz that's my color) some of her outfits are depressingly pink tho, so EA has to up their purple game tbh.

Other outfit: the Party fit. Aka: Spoiler. Genuinely I don't hate it. Her and Tim's vigilante suits are actually pretty good compared to the rest i made. Jason's doesn't count he dresses too normally, he could walk down the street in that while the others can't.

Oc introduction

Hey guys, I figured I could tell you something about my Ocs to keep you guys entertained.

Dracie:

Dracie Moguera is (my persona and Oc at the same time) an angel. She has red hair and red eyes (I can draw her and show you what she looks like). Her best friend is a furry dragon (yes, a literal dragon with fur) named Soren. He has white fur and blue eyes and he can fly like Dracie. Dracie's personality is based off of me so if you get to know me better you will know how she behaves. All I can say is; she's kind and caring but if your someone she dislikes she will actively hate on you. She's pretty stubborn and prideful, though she's shy and doesn't have much confidence. If she dislikes you she won't look at you and won't cross your path.

Soren:

Like I already said he's a white dragon with fur. (I haven't given him a lot of personality/ I kinda neglected him) Once I shipped him with Dracie (which is so weird), so I guess he once had a crush on her?? I think he tries to be cool and tries to be a badboy.

Carmilla:

Carmilla Cerona is a vampire. She lives in a mansion in the woods. She lives with 4 other people: Ruth, her best friend, Nosferatu, also her best friend, Heather, I haven't decided what relationship they have and Bernard, same thing as with Heather. She's really kind but looks very strict. She's french and has kind of a heavy accent. She has short black wavy hair and pink eyes with cat pupils?? She likes to wear black and red clothes. (I have this headcanon that she smokes sometimes)

Ruth:

She has long black wavy hair and green eyes. She likes to invent new things and always shows Carmilla her inventions. She's also a really nice person. She also loves to talk to others. She wears a red long sleeved shirt with a brown vest and she also has goggles on her head (Dracie also has goggles but since she doesn't fly often she almost never wears them).

Nosferatu:

He has greenish-greyish skin and a yellow sclera. He has long straight white hair and a beard (but like only on his chin). When I first designed him he looked ugly af but I made him pretty. He looks like he's gonna kill you but he is actually kind. He loves tea and books. (I headcanon him as a librarian (do you write it like that??)) He wears mostly black. He wears a black suit with black tie and a white shirt underneath. He's the tallest of them all. He's very calm and mostly observing. Also I sometimes ship him with Ruth.

Heather:

She has short red hair and blue eyes. She doesn't like Dracie. And she's bestie with Bernard. (Maybe I ship??) Honestly I gave her absolutely no personality. I dislike her tho.

Bernard:

I don't know why but I made him look like a winx character. Like literally he's built like one. He has orange hair and ALWAYS wears a white suit. At first he disliked Dracie but he likes her now kind of. Like with the others I gave him absolutely no personality.

I do have a lot more Ocs but I'm only gonna share these for now. Please send me some headcanons of these I need a personality for them.

🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?

Mike: Mike went through a rebellious phase when he was in high school, and he got a rabbit tattoo on his arm in memory of someone he was super close to when he was young. He's settled down quite a bit since then, and even though he's not actively planning to get more tattoos, I think he'd be down to get another one if he can easily cover it up for work reasons. I think he prefers abstractly sentimental ink.

Fritz: Fritz himself? He has no tattoos and doesn't plan on changing that. However, he was super encouraging when Mike got his and went to the tattoo parlor with him for emotional support (probably calling him a good boy for how well he can take it--Mike just rolls his eyes). And he'd do it again by golly.

Becky: Between taking care of her parent (haven't decided which parent yet) and her job, she never really has a lot of free time to herself. So she doesn't have a tattoo...yet. I think she'd want to get something pretty, like flowers and/or birds on her leg. Fritz and Mike, of course, would absolutely go with her if she got it, but she's a tough cookie and I don't think reassurances would be necessary. She's still appreciative.

🐶 DOG FACE — does your oc have any pets?

Mike: If plants count as a pet, then yes, he is a great plant father. Otherwise, no animals in his life. I think he appreciates loyal dogs tho, as long as he doesn't have to care for them.

Fritz: If Fritz had a pet, he'd most likely have a bearded dragon or a gecko, some kind of lizard. He'd either name it after an inanimate object like Fork or Garbage Bag or he'd give it a human name like Bernard or Susan. I think it'd most likely be the latter, and he would delight in the confusion it could cause.

Becky: Becky has a stray black cat that she feeds regularly. She calls it Blackberry and I think she lets it inside the house sometimes if she can, such as in moments of inclement weather (sidenote: I think it's a thing in her family to give each other food nicknames, one of her relatives called her Peanut).

💚 GREEN HEART — does your oc prefer being inside or outside?

Mike: Mike's a pretty solitary individual. He prefers being indoors, but if he does go out, he goes to green spaces like the woods or the park, somewhere natural and with very few people.

Fritz: Fritz likes going out and about, but he spends most of his time in urban spaces. You could probably find him soaking up the sun outside of a coffee shop, and he'd chat with you if you sat with him. He just likes tidy spaces where he can chill with people.

Becky: Becky spends most of her time indoors, so whenever she gets an opportunity to be outside, she makes sure to take her sweet time doing things. Running errands, hanging out, anything like that, will probably take longer than it needs to with her because it's a freedom she doesn't experience often. It doesn't matter to her if it's urban or rural, she just likes being out and about.

🍛 CURRY AND RICE — what does your oc’s typical dinner look like? do they usually eat dinner?

Mike: Mike sometimes forgets to eat dinner, especially when he starts doing things in the plot. When he does eat the food tends to be takeout or microwaveable, but always spicy. He knows the basics of cooking and his food is passable (if not bland--man doesn't own anything more flavorful than salt and pepper really), but for the most part he just can't be bothered. He's the victim of habits borne of college and night shifts.

Fritz: This man's dabbled in just about everything, so of course he knows his way around a spice rack and eats well-balanced meals. When he first moved out, he tried to keep a kosher home like the one he grew up in, but he started getting lax when he went out to eat with coworkers. One thing led to another, and eventually he fell out of the practice. However, he still doesn't eat pork (he doesn't like the way it smells when it's cooked) and he maintains "parent cabinets" where he stores everything he needs (cookware, serving dishes, cabinet covers, etc) and doesn't touch on the day-to-day in order to make kosher food for his mom and dad when they visit. They tend to give him sufficient notice so that he can take time to make his appliances kosher too. Oh, also he knows all the best hole-in-the-wall food places around town; if you wanna try something new, talk to him.

Becky: Becky cooks nutritionally balanced meals. Since she provides care for her parent, her dinners tend to meet their dietary needs as well. It's easier to cook a double portion, y'know? If, on a rare occasion, she makes plans to go out to dinner with someone, she makes sure to cook for her parent first and set them up for the night before she leaves. Her foods of choice tend to gravitate towards sweet or acidic flavors.

So. Let's talk (ramble) about this batch/update.

🚨SPOILERS🚨

Yeah. Yeahhhhh lol. I'm gonna address the elephant in the room.

For what it's worth, it took me a *very* long time to pose the torture scene because even I was like "shit, this might be going too far".

on the other hand... I decided it needed to happen and not to hold back on it. It was mentioned/skirted around, but not explicit until now.

(The knife was actually supposed to be smaller, but there's a lack (??) of them and the only other one I found was a kitchen knife (and not on stigma -- and looked goofy). Also, I tried illustrating how fast the cut on Were!John's arm healed... had to get creative with that lol. And ofc the blood, I've had for years but it's one of those things I hoarded.)

I was literally this the whole time

(it was truly rough for me; I had to keep telling myself IT'S OKAY; HE'LL BE FINE over and over... quite possibily the worst thing I've done and then pose it holy shit I was literally 🫣 and taking a lap around my room... it had to happen tho. there's gonna be payoff.)

I mean, it makes sense, right? Nothing short of killing him. And, maybe he was but it was so quick that Were!John didn't register that. Kinda like how the body keeps going when the brain checks out.

What also took me a while was setting the tone for Charles. And the gremlin said, "Nasty Man (extremely derogatory)". I mulled on it. I was like, "okay, fine. He will be Nasty Man (derogatory)". I can say, I did a pretty good job. It's pointed out like twice with Bernard (and even in his thought of him being a sick fuck; he's right and he should say it.) Note that Charles did not deny the allegation. So, if you got that certain vibe from him/the scene, you're absolutely right.

((Oh! If you remember in The Werewolf, when Brian was going through video files that he obtained... high chance that he saw the whole thing, things rather. And honestly?? he deleted them. all of them. This also leads him to say, if he ever sees [redacted] in the wild, he might just kill them and that's a promise.))

I will clarify that in the scenes, Were!John/John are at least 21 1/2 years old. He was correct that nothing really like *that* happened to him as they grew up. (though, I think will show something between them in the second half. jury's out). I made the distinction them having one sleeve instead of what they have now.

And! The water tank, only made possible by GTW of all things! Could not have pulled that off. I actually had the idea years ago in a drabble but at the time, it was a one off thing. just a brief nightmare of Were!John's.

Let's talk about John for a sec -- it's clear that he had no idea that all of that shit happened to The Werewolf. This can mean 2 or more things, but I want yall to guess. 😉

John's there for The Werewolf's support, but... he doesn't quite know where he's going with it, not that he's voiced it to him, yet. There's a reason why it's happening. He's trying to tell him something, even though it's incredibly fucked up. The burst of anger, the muted response to recalling being tortured...

It's also fucked up that he doesn't remember any of this. Not even like, residuals, other than his body being sore and fever being broken, there's just haze. Maybe a vague nightmare or two (that probably will be talked about) but outside of that? outside of The Werewolf trying to get out? nothing.

John knows it's not over yet because there's the question of the bed in the flowers (which he has feelings about for another reason) and that room in the distance but it's like what else can there be? Years, YEARS of this and something's going to give, that The Werewolf has repressed these memories. It's a goddamn WONDER that he's still (relatively) calm.

Or maybe, he isn't.

Maybe it's a cry for help. It's clear that he isn't okay. Perhaps, he never was and he just sucked it up, y'know? It's hard to tell with him because he guards himself. Maybe he's getting tired and this is The Werewolf's way of communicating that to John; maybe it's the only way.

Who knows?
