i am a huge believer in direct action, i dont like when people scoff at it and only recommend organizations for multiple reasons, direct action is generally the best way to help your community & people in need. especially in brutal situations, your change will impact directly the hope & future of someone in need, especially when you're western and your currency goes way further in the global south.

that being said: do not feel pressured into sharing random bot messages. it does not matter what tumblr users say about morality or activism - spreading scams around because "what if it's real? id rather a scammer get money than a real person in need not get help" gets in the way of real people getting real help. high level bot scams are professional scam operations that are actual real life human trafficking & slavery operations. it's not some random person in texas trying to scam a couple hundred for a new computer - it's actual organized crime that has real life victims. most of the money they con comes from europe & the usa.

ask yourself: where did the pets crowdfund posts go? donations for ukraine? all the porn bots & sugar daddy scams? please think critically before aiding international crime rings because you got emotionally manipulated by people online saying you are the devil for like, using your brain and seeing the pattern of behavior on this website, which is very fertile ground for conning and has been for years due to the progressive/liberal/leftist nature of its user base.

[TRANSCRIPTION: so, i'd like to start this off by saying that i sometimes crave a sense of normalcy more than ever in my life... though i know that people might not expect something like that out of me. you know, because i seem so devoted to my work, i guess. but i have to say that after getting a taste of it today, it's probably when i'm at my happiest. me and jack had spent the day together, which is something we actually rarely get to do. he had told me about this crepe place that had opened up a little while ago and he seemed really eager to go there. so i invited jack to do that this morning and i swear, i hadn't seen him smile that big in a while. which did something funny to my heart.

and by that, i mean you know that feeling you get when you can't contain the love you have for someone? yeah that was pretty much what ended up happening to me; a fuzziness had hit me in the chest. but after we went there, and jack ate an impressive amount of crepes (he was really fond of the nutella and strawberry ones), my son suggested that we see this new movie that came out recently. and it was hard to pass up so of course i said yes. we snuck in some candy and drinks because, honestly, who wants to pay for the overpriced candy they have? not us so we did that and just like i expected... the theater was pretty packed since it was for the new hunger games movie. it was good though!

anyhow, after that, jack wanted to spend some time just hanging out by the water when he did something that surprised me. jack hugged me. and it was really nice, because i can't remember the last time my son gave me one like that. he went on to tell me that he missed 'this part of me.' this got me to thinking that, yeah, i have been treating him not so well for a while. so maybe i ought to change that. jack deserves to have a father who doesn't switch up on him every day, from being mean to being nice.

maybe i'll call my therapist back and tell her i want to start seeing her again. she might've said some things that i didn't like the last time, one of those being that i exhibit behaviors that are typical of sociopaths — but i guess i can make an exception for jack, because he's my little bug.

It kinda bothers me how people are so hyped up about the Barbie Movie™ that they keep framing it like the dolls were the best thing to ever happen to little girls. Like the creator's 'original intent' for her daughter or whatever doesn't stop it from being a capitalist venture that sculpted the toys isle from being for kids in favor of strict delineations between toys for boys and toys for girls. Believe it or not, but toys are more gendered now than they used to be, and that wall of pink in the toy isle is at least like 70% Barbie stuff. And like does anyone else remember when Barbie was like the antithesis of feminism? feminists used to rally against Barbie for being a toy forced upon girls that chipped away at their self esteem. GOD the damage Barbie has done to kid's body image over the decades. The amount of eating disorders that have come about bc girls were told to idolize Barbie's impossible proportions. And like Barbie in the 90's that said 'math class is tough', like THAT is Barbie history, and if you gloss over it with stuff made in the last 10 years of Barbie's woke facelift you're ignoring what Barbie MEANT for most of its existence.

I love the fact that Yunho stayed true to his artistry throughout the years. Sadly the same can’t be said for younger male idols like Taemin or Kai, in my opinion, who strayed so far away from what we saw of them doing in their groups. And it got me thinking; how much of it is them and how much of it is SM’s marketing strategy? How can their group self and solo self be soooo different? For me they’re not selling their solo self well enough to convince me that that them you know what I am? It feels almost like they’re acting (yes, every performer acts a little bit) but with Kai and Taemin it looks like they’re both playing a role…

Would introducing wild European rabbit blood into Silvers help them regain/maintain the preferred body type? Surely a few European rabbits with silvering must still pop up occasionally.

I mean, you could, but I don't think that's something that necessarily should be done. Don't get me wrong, I'm curious as to what the outcome of that might be, but you've got to also consider the ethics involved with taking a genuinely wild animal and trying to breed it to a domestic animal. Rabbits are barely even domesticated as it is - reintroducing wild rabbits to the gene pool would mean you're partially undoing what domestication has happened for them so far. The offspring would probably have horrid temperaments, which is apparently something Silvers already suffer enough from as it is. Basically it would be like... Almost trying to completely restart the breed, if not trying to restart the domestication of the rabbit, and for it to even vaguely work (outside of the potential ethical issues of breeding a wild animal to a domestic animal), it would involve a ton of culling.
